Step across the street and enjoy Kamaole Beach Park II, one of Maui’s best swimming and stunning beaches. Revel in the spectacular sunsets or stroll along miles of white sandy beach at “first light.” Kihei Akahi is ideally situated and offers excellent value. Vacation condos include studios and one and two-bedroom units, each with a private lanai, a cable TV, a telephone, free high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a complimentary in-suite safe. A tennis court and barbecues can also be found on the property’s beautifully manicured grounds, in addition to ample free parking. Enjoy a cool swim in one of the two pools. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are also just minutes away from your doorstep.

The room was spacious and very clean. The views were amazing, right across the street from the beach. . Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

This was our first time in Maui and were so excited. We walked into the rental and saw that there were big stains on the carpet (not sure how old) and the toilet seat was left up with pubic hair on the brim. I messaged the management company to inform them and cleaned the toilet ourselves. The next day, I started to cook breakfast and realized that the stove vent didn't work at all. It's a gas stove, I'm pregnant, and we weren't OK with breathing in the fumes. If it was electric, I would have let it slide. I messaged the management and they sent over a repair person. He wasn't able fix it, and said it needed to be repaired. I have dietary restrictions and require a kitchen to prepare food as it is difficult for me to easily find a restaurant that I can eat at. Not knowing how long it would take for the repair, we requested to be moved to another unit that Vacasa was managing. They were willing to work with us and moved us down the road to another unit with a working kitchen. It was disappointing that we had to repack and move, which took us an afternoon to do and pay an extra $168 because the new unit was more expensive.... even though it wasn't our fault that the kitchen wasn't in working order. But we did appreciate that they were willing to work with us. They waived the cleaning fee at the first rental and covered $50 for our food for the day. Overall Vacasa was decent to work with but still disappointed that we lost a day of our vacation and were unexpectedly down $ for something out of our control. Hopefully they fix the vent for the next guest because if the unit was in working order and clean, it would have been fine. It's a very basic place, but with AC and right in the heart of Kihei.

-One burner on the stove is cracked not throwing gas out properly -overhead fan don’t work -drying machine takes about 3 cycles @ 90 mins to dry something -I read there was beach gear I only was able to find a crappy chair and 2 noodles luckily I found a body surf board for the next people - only 2 beach towels given out and 4 shower towels not very great for people staying long periods of time

Beach across the street good for all activities (swim w/caution, there is a small rip on S end). Great food at Coconut’s Fish Cafe, Cafe O’Lei and Cinnamon Roll Place just up the street. Easy access to groceries, gas, and highway. Small but functional.

The studio was fine. It is on the 6th floor so you get a nice breeze during the hottest part of the day. The best part was the property management Vacasa! They were amazing. The dryer did not work the whole time I was there and they did everything they could to help me. Vacasa is the best property management company I have had to work with.

This home was clean with good in-unit amenities that made for a pleasant stay. Having a washer/dryer unit was great to have on the trip, and the room was comfortable with a nice bed and good working A/C unit. We initially had issues with the garbage disposal function, and Vacasa customer service and maintenance were prompt in resolving the issue. I would stay here again.
