My stay was great! The place was not very clean as I found trash under a bed and the linen for the pullout couch was dirty. The communication with the property manager is awful. They do not answer nor do they call back. I forgot my curling iron and contacted the property manager. I wanted to see if my friend could go pick it up becythey we’re still in Maui. Neither the property manager or the maintenance manager called me back. Overall the property it’s in a great location and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely condo!! The view was amazing!! The kitchen had absolutely more pots,pans, utensils,etc. than I have ever seen in a rental!! Cooking was so easy.

We absolutely loved our stay in this Kihei condo and would book it again in a heartbeat. It is an ideal location--central to the island and directly across the street from a wonderful beach. We appreciated the warm welcome from the on-location staff who were helpful with everything we needed. The condo has a couple of boogie boards and some beach chairs which came in really handy. Can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay in this Kihei condo and would book it again in a heartbeat. It is an ideal location--central to the island and directly across the street from a wonderful beach. Loved the location and lower lanai. The condo needs some updating of bedding and carpet, cleaning and restocking. I shared my concerns with Tyler and he was able to get more beach towels dropped off (condo had 3). I wish the upstairs lanai was cleaned off so we could have sat up there but the bird poop was so caked on I wasnt about to start scrubbing. The pool and grill were nice and a great way to end our long days.

I just loved this place. The beach, the view, the location are all perfect. I loved the little community around it. Fred's is fun and so close and the shopkeepers are friendly. The condo was great for us. The kitchen is small but workable and the beds were great except for one of the couch beds. If I had to list improvements I'd tell the owners to recarpet the condo and put another foam mattress on one of the coach beds. We tried everything and that bed was not very sleepable.

We absolutely loved the location of this condo! Right next to multiple restaurants, beach across the street, easy parking, great complex amenities, and right next to the sidewalks (for walks and early morning runs). The two story unit was fantastic to relax on the grass, or up on the balcony, overlooking the ocean. Only cons, were sometimes the traffic noise was a little loud (didn't really bother us), and the carpet has been used pretty hard (no big deal). Overall any cons were nothing compared to all the pros of this unit. We'd absolutely stay here again!!!

Pros: AC worked great in every room. Big beautiful place with all that you need for vacation. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, beach toys for kids and a pack n play with a high chair available in the unit, huge plus! New washer and dryer worked amazing. Walk across the street to the beautiful sunset beach with turtles. Huge living room area with two sofas that can be queen beds. Ocean view from balcony and the sound of waves all day and night! Medium sized pool, grill, vending machines all super close.
Cons: the unit is a little bit dated, spotting on carpet upstairs, ants in the kitchen and upstairs (we bought ant killing bait and that got rid of them for a couple days)

We had a great time at this property— it was comfortable, well stocked, and the location and views can’t be beat. It was easy to walk to everything or walk across the street to watch the sunset on the beach. The air conditioning and in-house laundry ended up being a huge bonus as well. The only drawback (a small one) is that because of its prime location, there’s a lot of traffic noise from the road. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Kihei Akahi A101 is a fantastic place to stay in Kihei. As other reviewers have noted, the location is outstanding, right across the street from Kamaole Beach II and walking distance to a number of dining and small retail shops. We enjoyed the views from both lanais regularly, especially at sunrise and sunset. Parking is convenient with a space just outside the door. (Be sure to check in with the office conveniently across the parking lot for your car tag upon arrival ) Our party of 2 adults and 2 teens were very comfortable. Baths are good sized with plenty of counter space and there are individually controlled a/c units in each bedroom and living room. Master timer for A/C is in the living room and can be set for up to 6 hour intervals. The combination of A/C and ceiling fans kept the place quite comfortable. One tip I would like to offer is, open the window at the top of the stairs all the way and one louvre in each bedroom a bit before going to bed and close them between 7am-8am. This is especially helpful if you forget to max out the A/C timer before turning in at night. Beds were comfortable and there is plenty of closet and storage space.
The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots, pans, and small appliances you could want for basic cooking and warming. Spice cabinet was a little bare, we needed to buy salt but otherwise the basics were in place. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for providing sharp knives and storage containers. Seriously, I felt like I found the holy grail of vacation rentals when I sliced fruit or prepped meals using the provided cutlery. The refrigerator is more than adequate for a week or longer stay, we kept the ice maker on cube setting because the crushed ice setting got a little messy at times.
The dining and living room areas are big enough to comfortably accommodate 6 or more people. Television works fine and is a good size for the space. A hand held vacuum is plugged in downstairs and we used it regularly to pick up sand even while keeping all footwear by the front door or in hallway.
The storage closet under the stairs is well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, small cooler, pool noodles, and beach umbrella. The umbrella is well used and can flip inside put in windy conditions. This is a older townhome that has been well maintained and updated with new counters, heat pump A/C (quieter than window units) in unit washer and dryer. We had a wonderful stay. Thank You!

This place has everything!!! From location to all supplies needed for an amazing vacation. It is right across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants, stores and ice cream!!! Also, the best cinnamon rolls!!! This place is stocked with all beach supplies including chairs, towels and a boogie board!! We had an amazing time!!!

Condo was clean and spacious and the sunsets from the upstairs lanai were stunning. The location can't be beat: beach and pool are both only a stone's throw away and quality ice cream shop just down the street :)

Property was as advertised. Clean and stocked with the essentials. Location was super handy with our small children, we enjoyed going across the street multiple times a day to the beach, particularly enjoyed watching sunset in the evenings. The pool was ok, nothing memorable and often crowded. My biggest issue was contact with property owner, Tyler. It took several emails and a phone call over a week to get a response from him about pre- arrival and check in questions/instructions. We also had to pay for a late check out, but the cleaning people showed up anyway and tried to make us leave. There were no check out instructions, so it was not clear what was expected to fully refund our deposit. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location! Best access to drive anywhere on the west side of Maui and across from one of the best beaches. Can walk to shopping. Place is a bit dated but clean, well-stocked and comfortable. Decent beds, and I slept in one of the twin beds. 2 small but clean, heated pools.. would definitely stay here again.
