Check-in process was simple. Condo was well stocked and clean upon arrival. Location of condo on the island was convenient - both an easy drive to and from the airport as well as to any of our planned excursions. Having Kamaole Beach Park II directly across the street was also a plus. It did get a little warm a couple of evenings when the breeze was not as strong, but there were several fans supplied by the property manager and our family had no issues sleeping. This was great property for our family and we would definitely stay again when traveling back to Maui!

Thankfully, the property manager was very communicative, since I did not receive my entry code till the day of the flight. This was barely acceptable. Imagine traveling all day and not sure you’re able to gain access to your unit.

We loved the location. Easy walk to the beach. We swam every morning. Safe, easy entry beach. Close to lots of things. Amazing turtles & snorkeling locally. Excellent amenities on the grounds. Beautifully kept!
We were VERY hot in the afternoon and evening (indoors). Had all windows and doors open-nice breeze-but- Slept VERY poorly, due to how hot it was inside. I will choose a spot with AC next time, so I can get restful sleep.

The condo was in an amazing location, just a short walk to beautiful Kamaole Beach Park II. It was well equipped for all our adventures, from beach gear to coolers. The lanai was private and comfortable, and a great place to relax after a busy Maui day! We did have one initial snag, in that the condo had not been cleaned when we arrived-- that was rough after our very long travel day from the East coast. However, the owner was responsive and the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. We would absolutely stay in this unit again.

The apartment is absolutely perfect. So clean. Everything we could possibly want for inside and for outdoor / beach activities was provided.
It’s a big spacious apartment so our teenagers had their space and the location was perfect.
The beaches at Kam II are rougher than further up the coast but the insane winds bring great fun for body boarding and generally jumping the waves. Green turtles are often swimming past.
Kihei is definitely more low key than the fancy resorts of Wailea and Kaanapali so if you like things casual, relaxed and fun this is a great spot.
Please patronize Gus’s Bus. Awesome shaved ice. Family owned business. They could do with the support. We prefer local fayre. The Maui Thai Bistro I felt was the best food I had all week and the 808 Deli does amazing sandwiches and toasted paninis which are great for a picnic on the beach. Super convenient as just next door to the apartment.

We were not happy that this condo was SO warm!!!! It made our stay miserable. Also, it's terrible that you want us to take out the garbage and you can't give the condo a big garbage can so that we don't have to take multiple trips. It's also crazy to make guests wash the towels before leaving. And we found the fridge with open condiments and that's disgusting. It should be empty and clean. The window in the small bedroom needs a portable air conditioner to say the least since the window is to tiny we were burning up. The cost of this condo is most definitely not worth it. We don't recommend it. And the outside is very beat-up. We felt cheated and not told the truth of the stay.

Condo had everything we needed to get to the beach without renting. Quiet, 2 min walk to magnificent sunsets every night. We discovered different beaches every day.
Condo accessible by foot to shopping and dining options. Grocery store short drive. Washer and dryer a plus. Everything we needed for our stay.
We couldn’t get cable , the tv to work, but really didn’t care, it wasn’t important. But I am sure if we asked, they would have helped us!
We enjoyed our stay, and host was very attentive!

Rude desk clerk and.manager did not understand the AU visitors will not have email confirmation codes, just all the paperwork and booking confirmations.
Unit had paint tins /crap and other maintenance items in the wardrobes.
2 weeks after the holiday, Stayz has not returned the damage deposit.
3 elderly.ladies used the unit so its cleaner and neater now than when they arrived so why the delay. Nothing was damaged/broken.

Although we knew there was no air conditioning, we felt that the lack of it really made a difference. Also, on our first day we discovered a big roach in the kitchen. There was a large bird’s nest on the upper storage area on the lanai that had to be removed. We were constantly shooing away the minah birds from making their nests there. Also on our third day, there was a plumbing repair needed on the master ensuite. All these issues were promptly covered by the property management group.

This is the perfect condo. It was my spouse and I and our 2 kids ages 10/8. The condo is bigger than it looks in the photos. Super clean and breezy. A/c is definitely not needed. There’s lots of fans and always a breeze. Beautiful sunset every night from the lanai. Bbq at the pool was great! Always clean and ready to be used. We loved the pool and absolutely loved the staff at the office. They were amazing! The maintenance crew is always keeping the grounds clean. The owner was great to communicate with. Overall, this is hands down our favourite place we have stayed in Maui. I will always look to book this condo first when we come back. Our favourite beach is kamaole III and it was a super short walk everyday and tons of sea turtles and great snorkeling. If you wanted to get take out for dinner there are tons of great places close you can walk to. Then to Kamaole II to watch the sunset. Overall, this was the perfect place. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! You can not beat the location. Easy access to Kamaole 2, the pool and BBQ’s. It was clean and very quiet(if you can ignore the roosters LOL). It had everything you need for the beach and in great condition. The Lanai was lovely big enough to hold four people easily. The lack of A/C was only noticeable in the back bedroom with the single beds. Once we moved the fan from the other room it definitely helped. It would be nice if all the fans stayed running(one shuts off after 120min). If it had one one more fan and a drying rack for clothes this place would be 10 stars, but is definitely 5 stars we had a great stay. We would 100% stay again, thanks for a great stay!

As other reviewers have pointed out, this is an excellent property except for the lack of A/C. We had average highs in the low 80s and by evening the condo would be pretty warm. Not unbearable, and it would cool down at night with the windows open. Has anyone mentioned the rooster? He starts crowing between 1-3am so some windows then had to be closed once he started. Other than that we really enjoyed the place and the cost was good for Maui.

The unit was stylish, clean, VERY well equipped with towels, kitchen supplies and beach chairs, boogie boards etc.. even sunblock and aloe aftercare, snorkels, flippers and more! The cool evening breezes quickly cool the unit after dark as we did not see any thermostats for AC. Place is just above Kamaole lll and close to restaurants. We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

My husband, mom, and I loved our stay! The beds are comfortable, the condo is cute and spotless. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, and coolers that we used -- the house is incredibly well-stocked which was much appreciated, even including snorkels and flippers, which we were grateful to use! The location is unbeatable, directly across the street from Kam II and a little nature walk that we did every morning, taking us beyond Kam I and past beach-front residents and the Kihei harbor. We saw turtles in the water or resting on the sand almost every day, and we could see whales breaching from our peekaboo patio view back at the condo. It's also walking distance to some great restaurants and bars that became our favorites, and about a 25 minute walk to Kihei Caffe. We appreciated the quick and easy communication with the manager, as well, who answered questions almost immediately via text. Can't say enough good things, we loved our stay!

Nice place where we felt comfortable, safe and secure. Fortunately, it cooled down at night, and we were out and about before it got to warm during the day. With a rental car, it was a great base point. We had easy access to everywhere we wanted to go, and everything we wanted to do. The screen doors could use a bit of repair, but we didn’t have any problems with insects. We enjoyed having lawn chairs, beach towels, coolers, a blender, …, available. This place is very well stocked! My husband said the grills down by the pool were clean, but we never used them.
If you stay here, and drive the Road to Hana, check out the CDs before you go. Unfortunately, we didn’t see them until the day after our drive, and the audio tour CDs would have been nice.

The suite could definitely benefit from a deep clean, maintenance and just some money invested back into the property. Squeaky doors, patio screen barely opens, decorations falling off the wall, broken fans, old towels, etc it would cost a fraction amount we spent on our stay along to put some money back into the unit. A bit of a frustration when you spend a lot on a family vacation and you’re not as comfortable as you’d like. If you had a toddler I wouldn’t stay here, glass top coffee table that falls off on the slightest bump, lower wall art falling out of the wall (and it’s second floor so you gotta lug them up the stairs). If you have older kids or you’re a group of 4 adults who plan on being out most of the day this unit is for you, it’s definitely not a “hang out” kinda unit.
We did like the beach accessories available, the public BBQ, the evening winds (needed with no AC), and the convenient location. Would we stay at this unit again? No, but we still had a great trip.

For the price, this unit checks all the boxes. Right across the beach and within a block of restaurants. 2 pools, beach shower and assigned parking at the complex. Beautiful beach view sunsets on the lanai, well-equipped kitchen. No A/C, but the overnight lows got to the mid-70s, so fans were fine. The unit definitely has a fair amount of wear and tear and the towels, beach chairs, equipment have all been well-used and could use an update, but we really enjoyed our vacation and particularly enjoyed the central location.

We had a lovely stay at our condo. The kitchen was stocked with necessary items and it was the perfect amount of space for our family of 4. Greg was responsive and check-in and check-out was very easy. The time of year we were there, we had a couple very warm nights which can be tricky without AC (which is not non-typical in Maui); however, it was nice that the unit was a corner unit and there were ceiling fans and other fans to help get a breeze going. We also enjoyed the pool which was great for lounging and a great temperature for swimming. If you have young kids that love to live at the pool like ours, I would recommend bringing/renting lifejackets (which is what we did) as most of the pool is deeper. Overall, a good stay.

We liked Everything about this property. Location was great, close to beaches & stores & restaurants just in case there were days we didn't feel like driving. The only thing that was hard to deal with was the no A/C situation. Not sure if its the hottest time of year in Maui, & maybe other times of year it wouldn't matter, but this past week was unbearable while in the condo. But at night it was ok. Other than that, we really enjoyed the property.

We enjoyed our stay at B201, steps from the pool and a short walk to the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen well-stocked with utensils. The lack of air conditioning was not a concern as the cross-breeze kept the unit cool. We contacted the property manager for a small concern and it was rectified the same day. We’ve stayed at other condos in the same complex previously, but will try to book this one again going forward.

The location was perfect. Short walk to the beach. Corner unit with no air conditioning but a very pleasant breeze day and night. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The unit was clean and maintained. The furnishings were a little outdated, the mattress in the main bedroom was collapsed on one side, and some the beach chairs and umbrellas were unusable. Overall a great stay!

When we checked in we quickly realized that the place had not been cleaned, beds not made, musty laundry in the washer, crusty towels waiting to go into the washer, urine in the toilet, bathrooms not clean, floors not swept or mopped, etc. After a while of trying to get ahold of the lady in charge of cleaning she said that she would have someone out to clean it shortly, so we said we would leave for a while so we wouldn’t be in the way while they were cleaning. I was also able to get a hold of the owner and he apologized and said he would refund the first day, which was appreciated sine this derailed our first day plans. After being gone for a couple hours we headed back, still not clean. We decided to go to dinner to give them a little more time. Came back still not clean. At this point it was getting late and we were going to be wanting to go to bed soon so I informed both the owner and the lady in charge of cleaning that it still hadn’t been cleaned and that I was just going to have to clean it myself so that we could go to bed that evening. I got it cleaned and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. I also made sure to do most of the cleaning before we left because I didn’t want someone else to go through what we did. While I appreciated the owner refunding the first day I would have also liked to have been refunded my cleaning fee as well since I had to do it. I will also add that while it was nice that there was beach equipment there, it could be updated as it was all older and wearing out.

We stayed a full week in this condo. The location is good with quick and easy access to the beach and convenient parking. The complex was quiet and seemed well cared for. Given the high rental rates on the island, this condo was overall a good value. The kitchen was well-equipped with the exception of there being no dish cloths for washing dishes. There was a nice variety of beach items. Do be aware of the lack of air-conditioning, though there are several fans and it cools down reasonably over-night.
We did have a few frustrations that were house-keeping related. The kitchen floor was dirty with a large sticky spot near the front door when we arrived. There was only 1 partial roll of toilet paper between the 2 bathrooms when we arrived. We are used to buying some during long stays, but it would have been nice to have enough to get through at least the first day! There are mynah birds building a nest in the roof of the lanai where one of the small screens has fallen out, and as mentioned above, there were not dish cloths to be found in the kitchen.

This property is essentially a stones throw away from a marvelous beach. We were able to see the sunset from the Lanai.
The property is well maintained. It is perfect for a family with the two bedrooms and a pull out in the living room. There are plenty of linens and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to make meals.
There is a closet with beach equipment as well as boogie boards and beach chairs.
The pool area is lovely and has a covered area for super hot and sunny days. The recycling and garbage areas were easy to find.
The front desk was not aware we were checking in which was a bit stressful but it was sorted out.
There were plenty of fans to cool the suite as it does not have a/c. Since and it is the corner there was also a lot of airflow through the windows.
This was a fantastic place to spend some relaxing time as a family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting beach time.

This place was wonderful. It is just a block up from the beach and the cross walk is right there making it easier to cross the road. There are beach towels, chairs, umbrella and many other items to use on the beach. For us the beach towels and umbrella was put to good use. There is a washer and dryer in the unit to wash everything up for the next day.

We loved the place! It was perfect for our family of 4. The condo is in a great location across from Kamaole II and minutes from restaurants, shopping, and various other beaches. We thorough enjoyed sitting on the private patio with the pretty peekaboo ocean view in the mornings. Being an end unit on the 2nd floor, there was ample breeze and the fans to keep the place cool. The condo is well stocked with anything you need for your time on Maui. Greg was a great host and communicated promptlyl.

This property was great. It was a 30 second walk to the beach and the location was great. Could walk to several restaurants, stores, small grocery store, etc. I was concerned about not having A/C but it wasn't an issue at all. Being on the 2nd floor with the windows open was comfortable. Unit kitchen was fully stocked and the unit had all the necessities you could think of such as towels, beach supplies (snorkel gear), etc. I would stay there again in a heart beat if I needed.

My wife and I hit Maui every 3-4yrs and always stay in the same Condo Complex. This one by far was the nicest. Well stocked with cooking, beach, snorkeling gear etc. and it has a nice semi-private Lanai. Will def. look into booking it again.

We loved staying in the well appointed condo. It's perfectly located. Just across the parking lot from a pool and barbecuing area as well as steps away from our favorite Kamaole 2 beach. The patio is private being surrounded with palm and plumeria trees. The unit itself is beautiful. We hated to leave, but will certainly return!

There were so many things in this condo from sunscreen to beach chairs to use. We really enjoyed our time here. The location is perfect with a quick walk to the best beach in Maui, or a walk to restaurants and bars. This condo does not have a ocean or beach view, but the beach is steps from your door. Also the owner made it clear there is no air conditioning in this unit. There were many fans and we adjusted to the heat just fine. We did a BBQ at the pool one night. The BBQs were clean and fast to heat up. It was a great night of swimming while the steaks cooked. All in all a wonderful vacation condo in a great location. Also need to mention that the kitchen is very well stocked. Everything you have at home is here and it made it very convenient to whip up a quick meal. Thanks for everything and I look forward to returning.

We swam with turtles The pool was a daily stop for us on the way back from the beach. We were not sure what to expect, online the place looked very nice. As soon as we arrived we knew we made the right choice. Spacious, well equipped, everything works, and very clean is an understatement. The stunning beach is just 2 minutes walk and the reserved parking is close to the front door. Pubs and nice restaurants are within walking distance. As we were rejected on our outbound flight for two days in a row we only had to text the owner once and we could return to the condo. Thanks Greg! The reason why we award this condo with 5 start is we cannot select 6 stars!

A fully stocked kitchen, comfy dining and living room, large lanai, nice decor throughout the condo, proximity to Kamaole beaches is awesome.
Having the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms is wonderful. In-room laundry facilities is a definite plus. Really enjoyed our time in Kihei and in this condo. Would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting the beach nearby, restaurants and shopping close at hand.

The condo had everything you needed for our stay. (Although there were no boogie boards). Our family was there with our 3 kids (5, 3 and 1). The beach was so close and it was great for kids. We even saw some whales in the distance a few times from the beach. The condo is in a 2 storey building and we were on the second floor. One day we came back to a note on our door asking us to not walk with our heels on the ground and they can hear a pin drop through the floor. Our kids were in bed by 7:30 and we were out most of the day, everyday. The people below could have kindly talked to us instead of leaving a note. The main bed was a bit hard. We didn't use the tv at all as it was nice to sit outside at night. I recommend this place, but maybe if you have young kids it isn't the best for the people that are below.

My wife and I as well as our 2 kids spent a wonderful week in this Condo in Nov. 2013. The Condo exceeded our expectations in every way. It was very clean and was well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our vacation. The place was very well maintained and it was right across the street from the beach as well as within walking distance of many shops in the area. The owner was absolutely wonderful to work with, she is very honest, courteous and provided great detail about the condo and the area. I would highly recommend this to all families.

We have been renting this condo for several years and have always been pleased with it amenities, is very nicely appointed, location, manicured grounds. It is very close to the beach and very handy to shopping and restaurants. The weather is always sunny in Kihei which adds to the condo's location and its pleasant surroundings.
