It was our first time in Maui, and everything went beyond our best expectations. The condo is located right in front of Kamaole 2, a beatiful beach. The condo has everything you need for a wonderful vacation, it is very comfortable, and has all gear you would need for the beach. The condo owner is very responsive for any enquiry you may have. The property management is very kind, the whole complex is a nice garden. Definitively we recommend!!

My family and I spent a week at Neal’s condo and we had a great time! The place was a perfect home away from home. Neal being an excellent host was very attentive and always there to help. The place was well-equipped and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and there was a beautiful beach right across the street. Great value for money and highly recommended!!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in this condo. Neal is very responsive to any questions or concern that arose. The condo is located very centrally in the complex and in the town of Kihei. It is supplied wit( all the essentials including beach chairs, towels,etc. I would absolutely recommend this condo to friends and family and hope that we will be able to stay again in the future. Besides the well manicured grounds, the 2 swimming pools, tennis courts and friendly check-in service, we especially liked the close proximity to one of three beautiful beaches. We greatly appreciated the communication and overall concern for our pleasant stay from our landlord. We highly recommend this accommodation and will endeavor to book again in the future.

Neal’s condo is truly a slice of paradise. Location is perfect; right across the street from a beautiful white sand beach and walking distance from great food and shops. The condo is so clean, well furnished, with all the amenities. The couch in the living room is so comfortable with a view of a large flat screen tv. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dish washer! The bedroom is private and has a comfy king sized bed. The lanai is big with a table and four chairs and a gorgeous view of the ocean to the right and the mountains to the left. Below is a well manicured Hawaiian garden with beautiful trees to enjoy. Neal is truly the perfect host! Communication with him was easy and quick turn around. He is kind and generous! Thank you for sharing your incredible beach house ! We hope to back soon!

The condo is good. It would have been great if the toilet wasn't so low. The toilet in this condo is very low. The top of the toilet was below my knees and I'm 5'7" tall. If you have bad knees or any mobility issues I'd recommend someplace else. The shower is great only a small lip to step over.
I'm disabled and had to buy a mobility accessable potty chair in order to use the toilet in this condo. With the negative out of the way let's focus on the good. Sitting on the deck you can see the ocean and the mountains. Having my coffee outside in the morning was fantastic! The condo is walking distance to Fred's and Penny's Pizza. (I used my walker and I was fine). When their where no kids in the pool it was good. Too many kids and too many floating toys was too much for me. Neal and Jared provided us with a wonderful VRBO and it made our trip to Maui very special. Thank you

My husband and I loved our stay at this property. The condo was spotless, had all the amenities we would want and the location was excellent!
We loved having coffee/breakfast on the lanai as well as a relaxing drink after spending the days exploring the island and beaches. The whales were out in huge numbers this year and we could even spot some from the lanai.
We made great use of the chairs/umbrella and coolers that were provided as we enjoyed the beaches across the street and also those we drove to.
The location could not have been better!! To be able to just walk a few hundred meters to the beach and not worry about parking etc... priceless. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance as well.
Overall, this condo was perfect and we would highly recommend it. We will definitely book this condo the next time we visit Maui.

We booked the condo and found out shortly afterward that it had mistakenly been double booked. Neal quickly remedied the situation by working with another owner in the facility and getting us a very nice replcement unit after we agreed to it. He was a great communicator and made everything right if it wasn't. Thanks, Neal, for being a great rental owner!

This was our 3rd stay at the Akahi and the second time in this unit. Felt like we were back home! It is so nice to know everything we need is in the condo waiting for us.
We made a choice to limit eating out this trip and the kitchen served us well for prepping all our meals. Costco has a great selection of pre-cooked proteins that made home cooking a breeze.
I think that a morning cup of coffee on the lanai overlooking the beautiful landscapes is the best part of the day - so peaceful and is a great way to start the day. Then off to check out the beach of the day…too many to choose from!
Neal is a wonderful host. Checks in to make sure all is well and is quick to respond to when needed.
It was really sad to leave even though we had 12 great days. Hopefully next time my brain functions better when packing to go home 😜.

First things first, Neal is truly an outstanding host! Great communicator and pleasant to deal with. We could feel that he genuinely cared that our stay would be the best it could be.
And we did have a great stay!
The condo is tremendously well located. A great beach is right across the street and several others just a short walk or drive away. Lots of shops and restaurants also nearby.
The development is well kept and the grounds are beautiful. On site management, 2 pools and BBQs. It was quiet at night and we always felt safe.
We found everything we needed in the condo which was spotlessly clean on arrival. The updated kitchen is stylish and the living room and dining area are well furnished. The bedroom mattress was very comfortable and we appreciated the safe also located in the bedroom. From the lanai, we enjoyed several sunsets looking out to the ocean.
Highly recommended.

This condo is updated and well appointed with every comfort you need. They even had beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas etc. to set you up for the beach!
This ideal Kihei location is across from Kamaole II Beach which was a wonderful place to swim, boogie board, and we even had several turtle sightings! A handful of restaurants are on the same block. Within a few minutes drive there are shops and more restaurants and beaches. We love the overall proximity of Kihei, not far from either Wailea or Lahaina and most adventures in Maui.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The owner exhibited superior hospitality and information. The complex has pools, BBQ areas, and tennis court. Everything is well maintained. Enjoy your stay here you won’t be disappointed, we highly recommend!

This is a great condo to stay in while in South Maui. It is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated ( with a bit of Hawaiian kitsch!). The owners obviously take great pride in their place and are easy to work with.
The gardens at the condo complex are amazing - so lush and beautiful.
Easy walking distance to some great restaurants and very easy access to the options in Kihei triangle and Wailea.
I definitely hope this condo is available next time I go to Maui!

The pictures don't really do justice to this fantastic unit. Neal made the booking and check-in process really easy and everything was well organized and super clean when we arrived. We spent every morning at the beach across the street and even saw a sea turtle! We really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella and the fully stocked kitchen meant we could do breakfasts and lunches at the unit and splurge on dinners out. There are three restaurants right next door so we didn't have to go far. A great way to get back into travel after all this craziness!

Really enjoyed this property. If you have not traveled to the islands, it is note worthy that there is limited a/c in this condo. With careful fan placement, keeping the blinds closed in the afternoon and a lucky change in the weather we were able to get more comfortable towards the end of the stay. I was prepared for the heat so not too much of an issue for me but our 3 yr old struggled a bit. The view and location more than make up for the warm bedroom.
