Aloha! Our family visited Maui mid December 2023 and we enjoyed our stay at Unit #203 that was clean and decorated with a blue colour theme throughout. We found that it had everything we needed to explore Maui, particularly helpful to have 6 beach chairs, two umbrellas, 1 rolling cooler for drinks, but no boogie/body board. There were supplies for laundry, dryer and dishwasher, but we brought extras as we did laundry and dishes everyday. We utilized the kitchen lots as we prefer to pick up groceries at Costco and prepare most of our meals. We found that there was an assortment of mix matched utensils, as expected in a rental unit, but found the essentials. We used the BBQ grill to cook up some fresh Mahi Mahi and pineapple on the new grills, as they have been recently replaced, which was awesome! We do recommend eating out at "Three's Bar and Grill" for afternoon Happy Hour from 3-7 p.m., as their menu is delicious and great price!! Don't forget to pick up Shaved Ice! The fans and air conditioning of the unit were truly appreciated and also the TV's to watch the local news and weather to plan which place to explore. It was a perfect location to walk to Kam II beach and watch the sunsets. We were happy that the location was a short drive to get to the beaches in Wailea, such as Big Beach and Secret Cove Beach, as well as The Shops at Wailea to pick up souvenirs at SoHa Living, plus Luppert's sorbet and ice cream. Overall, we would recommend this unit for a future stay to family and friend while vacationing in Maui. Mahalo!

Location is awesome! It’s very walkable. Appreciated the air conditioning in the unit as well as the washer and dryer. The kitchen was amazingly fully stocked. We didn’t need for anything. My only somewhat complaint was that the queen bed was not comfortable for me. But I would still come back because everything else was perfect!

Kamaole II Beach is one of the nicest on the island, with safe swimmable water conditions and a wonderful snorkel spot. Condo is immediately adjacent to multiple Low/ Medium cost meal options and markets/ shops. If you love to walk/ run, you will enjoy a stroll along and in between Kamaole III, II, I, & Cove Park neaches.

This is a nice unit in a fabulous location. It is fairly well equipped. The couch and pillow ottomans need to be cleaned and the carpet should be replaced with vinyl. The master bath in particular should be upgraded as water flow is poor, the fixtures and tile are original and overall it appears tired. Mostly cosmetic concerns but the plumbing issues are an aggravation in such a nicely decorated unit.

This condo was perfect for our family stay, clean and comfortable, lots of extra bedding (sheets, blankets and pillows) which was nice. Perfect location right across from Kam beach II our kiddos loved the beach and tide pools there. Walking location to shops and food. We will be back :)

Everything was great- so close to the beach and to restaurants. Great accommodations. Cooler, beach chairs and towels to use. Only issue we’re the drapes in them living room didn’t close. I called twice with no return call and it was not fixed. Kind of a bummer because we were using the living room for sleeping. All in all- would stay there again.

Great place to stay for beachgoers and those looking to relax. Beach is a 2-3 minute walk away and lots of restaurants and bars a short drive away. FYI In-person check in is required within 24 hours of arrival and only available during business hours (8-4pm). This was not mentioned in the listing, so plan to arrive early or start your morning the next day a bit later.

This condo and community worked out great for our group. We had units in two buildings, so we could all be together, and still have our own spaces. The ability to walk to a beach, as well as to shopping and restaurants was wonderful. We saved a lot of money by going this route versus a hotel or resort.

My husband, our two young adult sons, and I stayed here and it could not have worked out better. We played tennis, ate breakfast on the lanai each day, and grilled our dinner in the pool area each evening. The location is perfect - we could walk to our morning lattes, to several beaches, to dinner or lunch, to our favorite shops. I lived that it’s far enough off the street to be quiet but yet so close to Kamaole II. I would definitely stay here again. Almost forgot - the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels were included as well!

I loved being so close to the beach in an area that wasn't as crowded compared to the west side of the island. There were so many places that were within walkable distance. Parking was available and the rooms and amenities were really nice and accommodating!

This was a great location across the street from a wonderful beach in Kihei. The pools at the condo were nice. We were really grateful that the condo had beach chairs and beach towels and other amenities to use so we didn’t have to bring them or purchase them. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and plenty of plates etc. they even had basic condiments that we could use. Washer and dryer worked great.
The drains in both tubs were almost completely clogged and drained very slowly. We contacted maintenance and unfortunately we’re unable to get this fixed before we left. We also noticed that one of the mattresses in the 2nd bedroom sagged drastically in the middle (probably needs to be replaced). The light in the 2nd bedroom also flickered a lot and would shut off so the room was very dark most of the time. Mostly this place was nice, but could use some updating and small maintenance attention.

Great location and full of amenities. The only thing was there was no small portable vacuum that worked. Also, the showers kept getting plugged due to drain issues from sand.
But overall, would stay again!! Awesome host and easy to check in.

We loved our stay at this unit. It is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The A/Cs in each room are great at night. The unit came with some essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus some basics for the beach that we found useful. The property has beautiful greenery and feels safe with security riding around regularly. There are stairs which may be inconvenient for some. A helpful front desk is available to answer questions if you need them. We would stay here again!

Lots to love about Kihei Akahi B-203!-Split AC in both rooms and common area-Top-floor unit on a low-rise condo that faces north so it doesn't get the afternoon sun-Well-stocked kitchen with all utensils you'd need for cooking-Boogie boards, cooler, extra towels, dry bag, beach umbrella, swim noodle, beach toys, tennis rackets all included-2 minute walk to Kam II Beach. Walked there every evening after dinner to catch the sunset-Assigned parking next to the unit-Immaculate grounds with a variety of beautiful plants-Situated just far enough inland that there's no street noise from the heavy traffic on South Kihei Road, but still walking distance to beaches, bakeries, delis, restaurants, and snorkel/SUP/surf rental storesMy only feedback would be for cleaners to pay more attention to the windowsills which were dusty.Note: we stayed during the pool renovation but had no noise issuesOverall this is one of the best value 2b/2ba single-story rental units you can find in Kihei. Everything in the rental description was accurate and I highly recommend!
