The place was just as advertised. We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrellas and cooler. We never had a car but used the city buses.It was free if over 65 with ID. We enjoyed the pools and the beach that is just across the street. You have to travel about a block till you get to the main road because you are in building C. The condominium is loaded with signs about what not to do “please take of shoe” “ don’t spray sun tan lotion in condominium” “ clean out lint trap after every load”. We never had any problems so never phoned owners. We didn’t try the AC it was cool enough if you left windows open.

A perfect spot for a perfect vacation! The proximity to the beaches, restaurants was a bonus. The grounds are lush and beautiful. We enjoyed the upper pool near building C/D, and the condo was appointed with everything we needed. All in all it was a wonderful stay!

Very nice place. Was very clean and everything worked out great. Bed was comfortable, they have 2 umbrellas and beach chairs , beach towels etc. all appliances worked and the check in and check out was a breeze. The condo has everything what you need for a stay in Maui!
A completely beach set for chilling the hole day at the beach. A perfect kitchen to cook dinner or make breakfast.
And when you dont want to go to the des you can chill at the pool.

Checking in we found the sheets and towels weren’t the freshest, we washed them in provided washer and dryer. I wonder if the last guest didn’t wash them properly or if they were left wet for too long. There were also tiny ants that the owner dealt with (although a bit of an inconvenience). After that things were pretty great.
The location is perfect. The beach is right across from the condominium complex. There are great restaurants (we loved the 808 deli and the gift/jewelry shop nearby) to walk to and many beautiful spots for snorkeling nearby with use of a car. The condo complex is well kept and the grounds are beautiful. I loved sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains and the grounds everyday. The rooms were spacious and kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the chairs and umbrellas!!

I would say that we are fortunate to find this place. It’s clean all over. The bathroom is perfect for me and my wife with lots of clean towels. The kitchen is just amazing with all the things you need to prepare a good meal. Internet is very fast. You don’t need to turn the aircon on with the screen doors and windows open the breeze coming from the ocean will make you want to go to sleep. I highly recommend this place.

The condo was amazing and clean! Had everything I needed and more! The re-surfacing of the parking lot was a slight downside but that was just timing and something that was out of everyone's control. Other than that it was amazing and I would definitely come back to stay there!

The condo was just steps away from beautiful beaches, beach walking trails, restaurants and shopping. Access to two pools and tennis/pickleball courts also handy. Well maintained property and always felt safe and secure wherever we went. Although check-in is at 4:00PM, be sure to get there before 4:30PM for registration as office closes at that time. This is important if you require a parking pass.

Condo is outstanding. Immaculate and well stocked including all beach gear. Comfortable big bed. Walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. Across the street from Kamaole II so it’s a very short walk to go enjoy sunsets on the beach. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this property. The location was what made the place so fantastic to stay at. We were able to day trip all across the island.
The apartment does lack in some essential services and supplies (shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc), so we ended up having to purchase more than we initially planned for. Otherwise, the space was great. The beach chairs and activities were great to use. Christine was fabulous with her replies and her suggestions.
At night, the apartment was cool enough with the fans running. Not an issue that there isn’t AC in the bedroom. We would gladly stay again!

For a location not immediately on the beach, this is as good as it gets. Walk to the beach is only 2-3 minutes, and crossing the main road is super easy as there's a pedestrian crosswalk which cars must stop at when pedestrians are present (and the cars do stop). PLUS there are some good restaurants (and food trucks) and treats within a 3-5 minute walk. Check out the Cinnamon Roll Place for to-go breakfast.
The two pool areas are small-ish, but they work. We were able to enjoy poolside time almost every day.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was super clean upon entry, all beach stuff and extra towels we could want, lots of kitchen supplies that saved us money at the grocery store. We didn’t even need the AC once, the cross breeze was glorious and the fans worked great. The only thing was the bathroom fan not working but not a bother, also water was leaking onto the lanai from a suite above us. We told the office but nothing was done.
Otherwise Great communication with management, lovely location. Loved having a parking space too! Mahalo, we’ll be back :)

We really liked our stay in this unit. The location is great, and it's a short walk to a great beach. The owners have outfitted the unit with all you will need. There are ample linens, and kitchen items. We rated this 5 stars, but our only issues was that there was no A/C in the bedroom and you really couldn't keep the bedroom windows open because of noise from the parking lot and guests walking by on the outdoor walkway. They did provide fans though. The other issue we feel really needs to be addressed is that the bed is not very comfortable, and for the price we would have appreciated a better bed. Overall though, this is a great unit.

My girlfriend and I stayed in this property for 3 weeks and had an amazing time! The area surrounding the condo is beautiful with lots to do and the grounds of the apartment building itself are also very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Kihei!

This was absolutely perfect. The condo is well stocked with everything you'd need and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The beach was just over the road and shops & great restaurants just round the corner. The complex was well maintained with 2 pools. I loved Kihei and exploring Maui and will miss watching the sunsets on the beach.

We were very happy with the condo. It was clean inside with tile floors. The bathroom had a large shower area and was supplied with plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary pots and pans, utensils, glasses cups and dishes. We had our breakfast out on the lanai and enjoyed the gardens and the mountain view.
We found the Akahi complex, that the condo is located in, to have very lovely gardens, two swimming pools and a tennis court that were well maintained. Both pools have restrooms and changing areas.
We also found that the beach across the street from Akahi to be very nice and spent a lot of time there utilizing the beach chairs that were provided with the condo.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Kihei Akahi and were quite melancholy heading back home. The condo offered the perfect base for vacationing, which for us included snorkeling tours from Maalaea Bay and Lahaina, beach trips (Kaanapali, Big Beach, Hookipa, Baldwin Beach, and of course, Kamaole I-III), and a trip up to Haleakala. Kam II remained our favorite, with its buttery sand beach, nice swimming and snorkeling, and it not being too busy. Really didn't like Kaanapali (18$ parking, no place to change, and loaded with people).
The apartment comes equipped with boogie boards, a perfect set of Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella, snorkel mask, cooler for picnics and everything to whip up a meal. Cooking supplies are fully equipped with spices, some olive oil (perhaps leftover from previous guest), and everything you need to make meals and keep the restaurant costs down (if that is your goal). We used the bbq once by the pool and it was great. Bed was comfortable, great shower, relatively comfortable fold out bed (my son slept there) and loved the no carpet.
We did have an issue with noise from one of the neighbors the first couple of nights but management dealt with it promptly and professionally.
Christine was friendly and responded very quickly. Overall highly recommend the place and would surely stay again.

Great location, super comfy space. Quiet building. Beautifully landscaped grounds. Comfy beds and bedding. Fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prep meals. Great swimming pools, tennis court that's always available (yay!) , quick walk to nice beach, hiking trail and close drive to other fun beaches, stores, restaurants... We enjoyed our stay there very much.!
