We loved the location on the island as it was close to the beach and restaurants. The rest of the island was easily accessable as well. The actual condo had everything we needed - the view being at the top of the list. The actual property was incredible - filled with native flowers and plants. It really was a week of our own little paradise.

We recently returned from a 10 day trip to Kihei and we are very pleased that we chose this condo to stay in. Plenty of space for what we needed, a well stocked kitchen and the view from the balcony is amazing - we saw whales going by on a few occasions and beautiful sunsets! Its also nice to have a designated parking space. The communication with Lynette was great and instructions for the condo were easy to follow. We will definitely stay here again, if its available, when we return to Maui.

Everything you need and more! We loved our stay here. We didn’t cook but the kitchen had everything you would need to do so. The beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, and umbrella were so great to have! We’ve stayed at several places before and this was by far the cleanest and most equipped place we’ve stayed. The location is ideal,..the beach is literally across the street and plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The view was also amazing! Will definitely stay here again.

This condo is in the heart of Kihei and in walking distance of great beaches and close to many places to eat. Condo is well appointed and great for enjoyment away from town. Perfect for a single travelers as well as couples.

The unit has everything you’d need to cook or snack! I found a 2quart pitcher for my water flavor packets as well as a nifty measuring cup. Be sure to open all cabinet doors to find hidden helpful treasures. Everything was perfect. It happened to be very warm, high 80s and 90s. For us the one window AC unit wasn’t enough to reach the bedroom. Lynette does supply two high powered fans as well as ceiling fans which helped.

We've been staying at Lynn's condo since 2002, it's like coming home everytime. The top floor condo has awesome ocean views where you can watch whales and sunsets from the lania.
The location is wonderful. Everything you could want or need is within walking distance.

This is our second time staying at Lynnettes condo and we will stay again! We are 65 and 70. We stayed for 2 weeks. First, it is lovely. Decorated nicely, plenty of room for 2, but it does accommodate 4. Very well stocked with anything we needed, plus. Very clean. The Bed is fantastic. A sleep number and so comfortable. Love having a washer and dryer in the unit. There was an air conditioner but we never needed it. The communication with Lynnette was great, although everything is set up so you don't even need any help. The gals in the front office were so kind and very helpful also. You could feel their Aloha Spirit. The condo is in the back of the complex so its very quite. I also can say the grounds are very well kept and beautiful. A real source of pride. The pool is a nice place to take a book and chill, and having the grills right there is so nice. The view and the sunsets are breathtaking. This is the top floor, or penthouse as we like to call it. We also saw whales from the lani. So cool. The cooler and beach chairs are a wonderful bonus. We love to sit on the lani and have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. There is a great shade you can pull down if it gets too warm in the afternoon also. We also love staying here as it is walking distance and central to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Right across the street. Free parking is also a bonus. It has a book shelf with tons of books, a cd player which was great, as my husband went to a goodwill and got some beautiful Hawaiian music to play on it. You cant go wrong with this place. Like I Said, we will be back, next time for a month! One other thing. I needed to have some weights and foam roller to use for my back, and i was able to send them to the complex via Amazon, and they were n the unit when we got there! It save me a trip to the gym every other day. Thanks Lynnette for accommodating me!

It was a fantastic time! Our family enjoyed staying at Lynette's so much! First, the location is literally a few minutes from the beach. Second, the view from the 6th floor balcony is breathtaking. Watching sunsets from there was unbelievable. We could see whales in the ocean from the apartment. Third, the apartment itself had absolutely everything we needed for a perfect stay at the ocean.
We are very grateful to Lynette and would love to be back to Kihei, Maui, sometime in the future!

We have stayed at Kihei Akahi condos many times over the years and this updated unit was an excellent choice! It offers expansive ocean views and is a short walk to a great beach. It's also walkable to a variety of shops and restaurants. The owner was an excellent communicator and the property is well cared for.

This property has gorgeous views of the sunset and is cozy and well stocked. Check in was a breeze. The bedroom gets quite hot and humid as the AC doesn’t really keep that room cool, but the living room and kitchen area was always comfortable. Walking distance to the next snorkeling in Maui. Clean unit with everything we needed. Perfect for two people. Everyone respected quiet hours which was nice. This was our first ever trip to HI and we already can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at the condo. We hope to stay here next time we come to Maui. The kitchen was fantastic with everything we needed (although we didn't cook but did eat take-out). The washer/dryer was very much appreciated as well as the beach chairs and umbrella for our use. The lanai was fantastic-we ate our breakfast there every morning. It has a great view and looks over the nice pool. Very nicely maintained grounds. Walking distance to a lot of small shopping centers and restaurants. Comfy bed. Bathroom on the small side. We never needed to contact the property manager because everything was fine.

PROs: beautiful ocean views, nicely updated unit, great location across from a beautiful beach and my favorite restaurant (coconuts!), love the in-unit washer/ dryer, designated parking, 2 pools with grills, tennis/pickle ball courts available for sign up, it’s a great home base for relaxing and exploring the island.
CONs: bedroom got hot as AC was only in the living area (there are great ceiling fans though), toilet/shower area was a bit tight but functional

We really enjoyed our stay here, especially with the amazing view from the balcony. It’s also a quick walk to the beach, which we took advantage of every day. There’s a dedicated parking spot and laundry in-unit. There’s a bit of noise in the bedroom since it’s directly next to the outside hallway near the elevators, but we just used ear plugs and was ok. Will definitely be staying here again!

This unit is in an excellent location for seeing all of Mauii's wonderful sites. Right across from a wonderful beach and the view from the lanai is fantastic! Within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. This condo complex was quiet and well cared for. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Our second stay in this condo was just as enjoyable as our first. It's got everything we needed for a perfect stay. Walk in and soak up the top floor ocean view from the lanai, the sounds of birds and palms in the breeze. Comfortable furnishings, very nice kitchen and appliances. Kihei Akahi grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Kamaole Beach II (our favorite) across the street. It's a 30 minute walk at the most to several fun restaurants and food trucks.. Couldn't ask for more really.

Not many vacations are perfect but for us this vacation was 100% perfect and the condo was a big part of the experience. Great location and spectacular view from lanai and everything in unit worked as it should. We enjoyed many early morning coffee and evening sunsets from the lanai. We loved our stay here! View from the Condo was as everyone mentioned - unbelievable! Condo was across from Kamaole Beach, walking distance to shops/restaurants, and loved that it was pretty centrally located to explore various parts of Maui with ease. This condo is fantastic, right across the street from a beach for those morning walks, and within walking distance to lots of great, casual places to eat as well as a store to rent snorkel gear/bikes. 5 minute drive to Foodland for groceries and only a 15 min car ride from beautiful beaches like the Wailea Beach and Makena Beach. Such a perfect location! And only 30 mins away from the pier where all the snorkel tour boats leave from! We couldn’t have asked for a better location.
The apt is lovely, very spacious and breezy, with a fully stocked kitchen. Evenings weren’t hot, so we never needed to use the AC when we were in the apt. Check in was very simple, the host sent us all the info ahead of time to get into the apt and then we just went down to the main office the next day to register ourselves as guests and give them our car’s license plate number so we can park in an assigned spot. Communication with the host was very easy, but everything was perfect so we didn’t need to reach out during our stay.

Lynette was wonderful and worked with us on last second booking. Place is a gem, located in at a perfect junction of kihei and wailea, and is a 2 min walk from a nice beach. Close to restaurants, grocery stores. Condo is spacious, clean, and offers all needed amenities to clean and cook. 100% would visit again.

We planned this trip only 10 days in advance of departure day so I was shocked something this nice was still available at a reasonable price.
The location was perfect. Being right on Kehei Road is truly a blessing because beaches, restaurants, and shops were a short walk away. This unit is on the 6th floor of the 4th building back from Kehei Road. The advantage to this is road and restaurant noise does not carry that far, and the height of the building allows for outstanding views of the ocean. Every morning at just the right time, the morning light catches Molokini and lights it up. Good morning!
The unit itself is very well equipped and set up nicely for a couple. We ate every meal (not at a restaurant) at the table on the lanai. The lanai is the best place to drink coffee! We played cards on the lanai. We basically lived on the lanai. I never cooked anything but boiled eggs, but there were plenty of pots, pans, and other tools if someone wanted to cook a meal. There were even basic spices! The living room furniture was comfortable which was great for the evenings or when we had gotten too much sun. (I have stayed in units that had basically unusable furniture.) The bedroom and bathroom were wonderful and it was a blessing to have an in-unit washer and dryer.
BUT that view! Did I mention the view from the Lanai?
Don't get me started with the sunsets!
I would rent this unit again without hesitation.
Next door to the condo complex is a weird little building stuffed with restaurants: 808 Deli, yes please--be sure and get the Potato/Mac salad. Penny's Pasta and Pizza, absolutely--probably anything on the menu is awesome. Moose's, hit it at least once--Anjelica pickles, just sayin'.

Our 9 day stay was perfect. Condo was clean, well stocked, had been remodeled, and was very nicely decorated. Most important to mention though was the view. A 180 degree view of the coastline, sunsets,, and neighboring islands. We were with another couple who stayed in the same complex in building C and they ended up visiting with us and enjoying our balcony views.

The photos really don't do this property justice. The lanai has great views of the ocean and Puʻu Kukui mountain. In the unit is everything we needed for our vacation - from chairs to ice coolers. Accessing the unit was super easy and straight forward. Inside it had an AC in the living room, which is helpful in the afternoon when the sun hits the unit direct. The bedroom & living room have ceiling fans and small fan you can place - we found the bedroom to be a comfortable temperature.
Unit is also just a walk away from a few beaches and a number of restaurants/shops.

Overall we loved the property in Maui! We got in late at night and the owner provided us with all the necessary details, including the check in code weeks prior to our arrival. The property was extremely clean and the description was spot on. The view from the lanai was stunning and waking up to the palm trees and ocean was a real treat. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, which made it very easy to eat meals in it, when needed. The location was right down the street from the beach and great walking distance to local stores and restaurants. The parking space made is easy and accessible. The bed was super comfortable and adjustable for both of us individually.
The unit is really best for a couple and no more given the size and the single bedroom. In the summer time (when we stayed in the unit), the master bedroom even with multiple fans running was very hot and uncomfortable at times. The Ac in the living room does not reach this room.
Overall we loved the property and would certainly consider staying in it again!

This condo is the perfect holiday accommodation. The ocean view is amazing and the condo has everything, from top quality appliances to filtered water to an amazingly comfortable king bed. We appreciated the coded door entry as we didn't have to worry about carrying a key. This complex is close to assorted cafes, a health food store and many interesting little shops. Thanks to Lynette for creating such a tasteful and comfortable holiday condo!

We had a great stay at Kihei Akahi!
The good:
- The view was amazing!!! Great balcony to sip coffee on in the morning and watch the sunset at night.
- The staff work so hard at keeping the pool and grounds in tip-top shape. They thoroughly cleaned the pool and bbq grills every morning. The plants and flowers around the grounds were beautiful.
-The upper pool had good loungers and was never too busy. People were respectful of the rules and there was usually a chair available in the shade.
-The location was super close to Kamaole Beach 2, which was a nice, never too busy, beach good for turtle sightings. A short 5 minute walk downhill and you're there. Though beware the walk back up carrying all your beach gear!
-We appreciated the little touches like a full-size coffee maker, quality beach chairs, and thick beach towels. The sleep number bed was also very comfy.
-The parking spot was closely situated.
The so-so:
-If you're a light sleeper, I would definitely bring earplugs. The bedroom windows (not sound proof) backs onto the walkway so we could hear a baby crying at night in the next unit and LOTS of birds on the backfield in the morning.
-The A/C unit worked great to cool down the front room but even with the fan, it was hard to move that cool air into the bedroom at night before bed. The ceiling fan was nice but it was still quite hot.
-Overall, the unit was really clean but the cleaners must have missed the shower drain as it was a bit plugged our first day. I cleaned it out but it was kinda gross.

A very clean lovely place. Kitchen was fully stocked with essential cookware and china. I especially enjoyed cooking with the Calphalon cookware. There was a minor problem with the toilet. The water tank was flowing non stop after each flush. We had to open the tank’s lid to manually stop the water from flowing. Lynette reached out to me prior to our stay that a new toilet was to be replaced. There appeared to be no brand new caulking and the toilet didn’t appear to be brand new. Beside this minor inconvenience, we had a great stay. The view from the balcony was awesome. Internet connection and cable were added perks. We would stay again.

This was an awesome condo and we really enjoyed the stay. The unit was well maintained, clean, and had lots of beach gear handy (chairs, towels, cooler). The bed was very comfortable and adjustable and the kitchen was well equipped.
Also the keyless entry was convenient to just grab your snorkel and go!

Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, we were married in Hana. It was our second stay at your place fifth stay in that building. Love yours the most. Everything about this condo is amazing - kitchen, bed, view, swimming with sea turtles at the beach. Can't wait to return. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
