Awesome location with the beach two minutes away just as advertised. Snorkeling was pretty good too. We saw a sea turtle right off the rocks there! Everything was very convenient. We were close to good eating and shopping And everything we needed for the beach was provided. We would return to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. It has everything you need for your Maui vacation. Beach chairs, cooler, etc.
It's short walk to the beach, gift shops and restaurants. The condo is clean and nicely furnished. The owners were very helpful in answering any questions we had.
If we go back to Maui we will hopefully be able to stay there again. It is the perfect getaway place.

This property is adorable—and close to everything! The best beach is right across the street. The property has tennis and Pickleball courts, two swimming pools, beautiful foliage and a great office staff. Reserved parking space is a plus! Owners were VERY responsive and helpful. Unit is on the second floor and property has elevators for those heavy suitcases. Washer and dryer in the unit and kitchen stocked with pots, pans and whatever else you’d need if you choose to cook. Great restaurants nearby—literally a 2 minute walk. Can you guess that we will be back for sure?!

We stayed here for a week in October, 2023. The location was ideal for walking to the beach and within walking distance to several popular dinner spots. Across the street from Kamaole Beach Park II. This unit is at the west end of the complex closest to the pool and main entry to the property. S. Kihei Rd is busy at times but there is a flashing light crosswalk right in front of the condo complex so very easy to get across to the beach. Nice to have washer/dryer right in the suite. Fully equipped kitchen. Tastefully furnished and comfortable bed and sofa. Nice to have beach chairs, cooler, and beach towels included. There are also 2 pools onsite for the days we chose not to go to the beach. We were highhly satisfied and would recommend.

We had a long stay at this apartment and it was so amazing! The apartment complex is superb, clean, and has so many amenities. The best thing is the proximity to the beach. You walk out the complex, cross the street and there’s the beach. This beach in particular is beautiful, soft sands and perfect for swimming! We enjoyed a very many sunsets and swims here and will definitely come back if we are ever in Maui again.

We had a wonderful time here staying at this condo. From the moment we booked, we received clear and concise information from Dava regarding our stay and they were kind enough to check in on us during the wildfire to make sure we were ok. The condo had everything we needed and we loved having the beach chairs and umbrella for our convenience. The beach was right across the street and it was a very short walk. All in all, we had a fabulous time and would love to return. Thank you Dava and Pete!!

My experience here exceeded my already high expectations. The location of the property is directly across the street from one of the best beaches just south of Kihei, where you can snorkel, play in the surf, or just sit on the beach and enjoy exquisite sunrises. The location being in Kihei made it centrally located so day trips all over the island (anywhere from Hana to Honoloa) is easily accomplished. The experience with the owners could not have been better and the cleanliness of the condo itself was impeccable. I enjoy my own cooking, and the kitchen is really well stocked.

The condo was as advertised. Great view, well kept unit and responsive owners. It was so close to the area in Kiehi that we like I felt bad about renting a car. First time we never stayed on the beach in forty years and still very much enjoyed it. Other plus's at the condo were nice sized assigned parking spots, Tennis and Pickle ball court, comfortable pool area with cold water drinking fountain, Refer and plenty of shaded area if needed. Many great owners were around that made the trip even more enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I had the BEST experience staying at this condo. The location was perfect! We wanted to steer clear of the resort area & prices and this condo is just across the street from one of the best beaches in Maui with tons of local food/shopping/bar options within walking distance. The condo itself was supplied with everything you could possibly need for a week’s stay: beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, fully-stocked cookware in the kitchen, and a lovely balcony where we started and ended our days. The host was immediately responsive to all my of inquiries up to and during our stay which we really appreciated. If you are like me and plan to spend 10+ hrs researching every neighborhood and living option in Maui before you make your decision- let me save you the work. This condo is in an ideal location just steps across the street from Kamaole II beach, one of a string of great beaches in South Maui. The grounds and buildings are well maintained and this particular unit was very quiet since the building is back from the street. The unit is very clean and well stocked, with an amazing gas stove, large stainless fridge and all the utensils, pans, pots and bowls that you could need, and then some. Plenty of towels, a washer dryer and a nice lanai rounded things out. As others have said, the bed is SUPER comfy, not just from the mattress but incredible sheets! There was a bit of an issue with airflow in the bedroom, but I know they are working on that. Dava was a fast communicator throughout. I couldn't have asked for more and would return if I am ever able to get back to Maui!

This condo is in a great location for exploring the island as well as just walking across the street to a beautiful beach or to nearby restaurants. We also appreciated the two beach chairs, mats, and umbrella provided. My only issue is that the AC unit is in the living room and so I was too warm trying to sleep at night. I think a box fan would help funnel the cooler air from the living room back toward the bedroom. All in all, I'd stay here again, but I might pack my own personal bedside fan.

The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. The condo provides beach chairs and a cooler and is in a perfect location; u walk right across street to Kamaole beach! Coming from Texas I‘m used to A/C and not having A/C in the bedroom was the only drawback; there is A/C in living room thou. Kihei is central for any day trips you take and there are restaurants within 3-10min away when you don't want to cook. Foodland grocery store is 4min away. This condo is highly recommended if your not too bothered by no A/C in bedroom.

We loved our vacation in Kihei. This condo is a perfect location for the beaches, shopping, restaurants, watching sunsets and to explore the island! This is a beautiful and comfortable condo that is stocked with everything we needed to enjoy beach days- umbrella, beach chairs, cooler and beach towels. Great snorkelling at the beach across the street and we saw many turtles! From the lanai, there is a mountain view on one side and an ocean view on the other side. Loved hearing the birds chirping while enjoying my coffee on the lanai. I definitely recommend staying at this condo!

Well-kept condo unit inside a nice association. The condo itself had everything you would need to cook along with several other great touches (two very nice beach chairs, a cooler, an umbrella, and even an additional clothes drying rack). Assigned parking spot was very convenient. From the steps of the condo door to the nearest beach is two minutes away. We were looking for a spot close to the beach and Kihei Akahi is simply the best. We appreciated having beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler so we could just walk across the street and enjoy each perfect day! Restaurants are close by but we had everything we needed to prepare meals at the condo too. We loved having our morning coffee and sunset wine on the lanai!

The condo was great for us and very enjoyable. Of course everyone wants that ocean view. We enjoyed on the balcony with what little view we had of the ocean and the sunset. It was easy to walk across the street with everyone else to see the sunset. Had I wanted to cook the kitchen was great. Thank you for a the beach chairs, cooler and Maui books. This place is amazing!! The location was across the street from one of the best beaches in Maui, in addition to walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was very clean, quiet, and had all the amenities that you could ever need. It has a full kitchen, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a balcony with a table and chairs. The sunset view from the balcony was amazing! Beach chairs, a cooler, a beach umbrella, and beach towels were available to use. I would stay here again and again.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Dava and Pete's condo. It had everything we needed and is SO close to a great beach. From sitting on the sofa to swimming in the surf in under five minutes! My husband was there for work and took the rental car during the day, but I could walk in just a few minutes to multiple restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Everything about our stay was perfect and I desperately hope we can go back soon!

The condo was is well maintained, very clean, and stocked with everything you need including beach chairs, a cooler, and beach towels. Kam 2 beach is conveniently located right across the road. We spent many full days at the beach so we could watch the sunset, as did many who visited the area just to catch sunset. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants and shops from the condo as well. My husband and I had an amazing vacation in Maui and are very happy with our stay in Dava and Pete’s condo. The condo was extremely clean, centrally located, safe, with a smooth check in process. Dava was super responsive and communicative during the early booking process and throughout. The condo has all the touches of home, nothing missed or overlooked- from the well equipped kitchen to the beach chairs and cooler to fully enjoy our beach days. The location was perfect with restaurants, shops and markets all within walking distance. And a wonderful beach just across the street from the condo to marvel at the beautiful sunsets. We loved our mornings drinking coffee on the lanai and listening to the birds chirping.

First, the location is great. At the South end of Kihei , shopping and restaurants are nearby but away from the crowds. Easy acces to the beaches to the south and sites to the north.
Second, the apartment is well equipped and well . There are no negatives. The complex is also well maintained and nicely secluded.
I would definitely stay here on another visit.

We love our stay in this condo, the balcony is perfect for breakfast, we also used the barbecue grills located next to the pool for dinner. The kitchen is well-equipped and the beach set (chairs/umbrella/cooler) was super helpful.
Location-wise, it's just perfect right between Kihei shop/bar/restaurants and the lovely Waimea. We enjoyed our early morning walks a lot.
The beach across the street is small but quiet enough to enjoy and relax.
Overall, I absolutely recommend this condo and I'd love to stay here next time.

My wife and I decided to stay at Dava & Pete's condo for our honeymoon and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The condo is very clean and comes with all of the amenities you would nerd and more. Dava & Pete provide beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler and umbrella which was very convenient and made our trips to the beach much more enjoyable. The staff onsite were very friendly and we felt very safe staying in the condo since there is security patroling the area. The condo does come with an assigned parking space. The lanai was my favorite part of the condo because you can really enjoy the beautiful weather and cool breeze while taking in the views of the beach and mountains. The condo is in a great location, literally across the street from the beach. It is also in walking distance to great restaurants and all types of stores (convenience, liquor, equipment rental etc.) and my now favorite local breakfast spot, the Cinnamon Roll Place. Dava & Pete were very responsive and accomodating. My wife and I highly recommend staying at Dava & Pete's condo for your stay in Maui.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dava & Pete’s condo. To begin, owners were excellent communicators!! They responded to every inquiry very quickly and were more than accommodating which we really appreciated.
We have been to one of the Hawaiian islands a few times each year for the last 15 years and have always enjoyed staying in the Kihei area. It’s central location and this condo, just a short walk to the beach , provided the stage for a wonderful holiday! The unit had all of the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. We utilized the lanai each morning and evening and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. We also appreciated the cooler, beach chairs, blue ice etc.. The pool area (with BBQ grills) was a nice evening escape. The king bed was comfortable, the complex was very quiet which set us off each day well rested and ready to play. We HIGHLY recommend this unit and the condo complex for your next stay.
