We loved the location towards the back of the complex. Still an easy walk to the beach, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful view of the sunset from the patio. Nice outside space for early morning coffee and evening cocktails. The place has a nice open layout. Kitchen was at the perfect size with everything you may need.

I've been visiting Hawaii for just short of 60 years. This property reminds me of the way it was when I was a kid, only better. Comfortable, clean, well maintained, low key.
Growing up our family mostly had a place less than a 5-minute walk to the beach, just like here. The view over the property with the ocean and sunset beyond connects me with the place more than being right on the ocean.
Also, if atmospheric conditions are right, one can see the green "flash" from the lanai. FYI, it's much longer than a flash.
Additionally, this unit comes with a prime parking spot.

Perfectly located south Kihei condo just across from Kamaola II. VERY roomy, perfect for family, 2 couples, or just you and your love. We liked that the unit is in the back building, away from the noise/busyness of S. Kihei Road and with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets.
Great communications with owners Keith and Audrey, super easy check in/out. If you are staying in Kihei you NEED to consider this place, you'll thank me later!

We have stayed at the Akahi 3 times over the last few years. Love the location of the complex and this D building is at the back and very quiet. We enjoy the extra space of the 2 bed corner unit and love the views from lanai. Whales and sunsets every night. Close parking stall and convenient access to BBQs and pool! Bed was great, fully equipped kitchen, and AC. Owners are super friendly and accessible. Answered any emails right away. Will be back soon I hope.

This was the perfect place for our family of 4 to spend Christmas. The location was ideal - we could walk to the beach & restaurants. The Kihei Akahi grounds were immaculate. This building is set off the main road, so very quiet, and has an amazing view of the sunset at night. My kids appreciated having their own room & beds. It did get a little warm in their room without air conditioning, but we reminded them that it felt like 50 below zero back home, so they shouldn't complain about being warm! We did appreciate the air conditioning in the master bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few meals we prepared & the grills by the pool worked well. The condo had plenty of beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, umbrella & cooler. We also appreciated having the basic amenities provided - paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper. It was a great place & we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was absolutely amazing and we had the most lovely experience with Audrey and Keith.
We booked this stay last minute and Audrey went above and beyond to accommodate a special request.
The unit itself was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young children. We loved the ability to have the kids in their own rooms and their own bathroom.
Location is a 10/10. Very quick access to a beautiful beach and 2 well maintained pools on the grounds themselves. The complex is very close to all amenities including restaurants, grocery and shops, and driveable to all the bigger grocery stores and Walmart. The complex ia on a busy street but the building is far enough back that their is zero noise or distraction making it a very relaxing and quiet stay. The grounds themselves are impeccable and staff is working constantly to maintain them.
The unit was very clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you could think of, and more - including boundless beach toys, accessories, coolers, umbrellas, towels and more!
Check in was an absolute breeze and Audrey was VERY quick to reply to any questions.
Our stay was a 10/10, we will be back!

Very nice unit. As always, you get what you pay for. Broken toilet seat was fixed right away. Lots of useful utensils in the kitchen. Nice little balcony.

We stayed for the last two weeks of February, the condo was even better than the listing. Morning coffees while watching the whales, evening sunset. Quick walk to the beach for the family. We have a 8 and 10 year old, twin beds in the second bedroom was a must. Close to restaurants and shops.
We can’t wait to return to this beautiful spot.

This rental is well stocked with everything you could want. From kitchen with everything you need to cook or blended drinks. It was spotless- very well maintained and clean. It was certainly our favourite rental during our three weeks in Hawaii.
Great location for exploring South and West Maui or a day trip to North or upcountry!
Communication was great with owners and management company.

This property is clean, has all the necessities and more, close to all the beaches in Kihei/Wailea. The grounds and pool are maintained and cleaned daily. There was some noise before 8 am from our Neighbours but the owners were great to report it to the office. The beds are comfortable too!

Just finished up a week at this lovely condo in Kihei with our 3 year old kiddos. This was our 4th time in Kihei and this place was great - awesome location, nicely furnished, very clean, comfortable beds, lots of extra towels. The AC was awesome. We’d definitely come back!

I love this property located at Kihei. It is an awesome location with many restaurants nearby. It is also in the middle of all the attraction at Maui. The apartment is clean and tidy. It is equipped with kitchen and beach supplies. If having an air conditioning is a must, then this place will not be your pick. There is a air conditioning unit in the property but it is not strong enough to supply cool air throughout the apartment. The host gave us tips on keeping the unit cool by opening all the windows which was a great help. The natural breeze kept us cool throughout our stay. I practice energy efficiency when staying in this wonderful place.

The views from the lania were great and beach was right across the street with many amenities close by. Only one window air-conditioner for the whole unit but plenty of fans to help keep the condo cool. Owners were helpful and very quick to respond to questions.
