The condo had everything we needed, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys and the kitchen was well stocked included containers to take food in the cooler to the beach. The lanai was lovely for sitting out with morning tea/coffee. It is right across from Kamole Beach II and close to many restaurants we walked to. A perfect location for exploring the island.

We had another great stay at Kihei Akahi! Great location in Maui. This unit was newly renovated and very clean and nice. Even though it was +30C and only one a/c unit in the living room, it wasn't too hot in the bedroom. Nice cross breeze! The owner is very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a month, and have no complaints. We will definitely stay here again. The queen bed with a topper is very comfortable. This unit by far had the best equipped and stocked kitchen we have ever had in a condo. The condo has ample storage for a months stay. We only turned the air on for 3 days of our stay. The unit has a really great cross-breeze. Use the stepladder in the utility closet to open the windows in the bedroom. The peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the lanai is just enough. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Perfect location to the pool/bbq area and a 5 minute walk to an awesome swimming beach and amazing sunsets. There are many restaurants nearby. Fred's Mexican Cafe is great for cocktails and meals and is next to the condo complex.

Just a short walk from the beach, plenty of things to do in walking distance or a short drive. A lot has been renovated nicely, the kitchen especially is great. Nice view of the beautiful courtyard.

This was our 4th visit to Maui and this was the best condo that we have stayed in. From the check in ( ladies very friendly and helpful). The condo was well stocked, anything you think you might need was already there. Beautiful view from the lanai. Beautiful barbecue area with 2 huge barbecues, tables, fridge, sink and microwave. Pool was a nice size, never crowed and the people staying at the complex were so friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

I loved my time in this lovely condo. The location is perfect for beach access. Easy walking to close by restaurants & shopping.

Condo was very well equipped, and very handy location. Within walking distance of restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. Pool was excellent, very clean. We would recommend this condo to whoever wants a wonderful Maui Vacation! We were there a month, and still not ready to come home!

Beautiful area. Everything needed was there. Did not end up using the snorkeling equipment but maybe on next visit. Plenty available. The seats and beach bags were useful and cooler was great. Would definitely stay again. The DVD player was not working and the cable was confusing but other than that most accommodating. Very pleasant for 2 ladies. Maui was breathtaking and knowing there was a clean comfortable and safe place to stay was reassuring. Thank you.

We have stayed in Kihei on several occasions and were happy with this unit. We had a little difficulty accessing the suite but that was resolved quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and will likely try and book again in the future

Steven & Cecilia's condo is beautiful in every way. The appliances, furnishings, kitchen cupboards, bedroom (including its own TV) are all modern in design. The European style shower is wonderful. The open kitchen concept makes it look and feel bigger than the advertised size. Everything you require for the beach is supplied - beach chairs, umbrellas (large Tommy Bahama), coolers, beach mats. On the lanai is a patio storage box with snorkel equipment, air mattresses, water shoes, etc. It's a short five minute walk to the beach. Many restaurants are close by including my favorite, Moose McGillicutty. The building is concrete construction so there is very little noise from other condos. We would definitely rent this condo again.

We really enjoyed the location of this apartment. While it doesn't have the greatest view, the beach is very close and you can enjoy those sunsets within a couple minute walk. The restaurants near the apartment are excellent. We enjoyed the 808 Bistro and several others. It was so nice to easily walk to these.
The apartment had everything we needed. The only issue I had was that the air conditioning didn't reach the bedroom very well. Fortunately, they are prepared for that and there were three different fans in the bedroom. I prefer a king bed but this one was fine.
The location of the unit seemed to be well located for exploring the island. We certainly enjoyed our time (other than the ballistic missile warning but we aren't talking about that).

Great room with everything you need! We will be staying here again, grounds well kept nice and quiet evenings with fun filled days. Maui has been our spot for years and love everything about it. We have made great friends staying at the Akahei and will be calling on Steve for his condo he is easy to work with and always quick to answer with your needs. My family and I truly enjoyed this place. We had all the comforts of home. All the upgrades were quality. The decor gave it an island feel with quality comfort. It is so close to the beach and incredibly airy that we never once used the AC. There is always a nice breeze coming through pretty much around the clock. If you are a family of four, this is a perfect condo for you. This was our first time in Kihei and we would absolutely come back here every year if it is available. Mahalo!!!!!

My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights and we loved it! The condo had everything we could have wanted for beach going(chairs, umbrellas , towels, beach bags for our goodies and even a football for some surf throw down). We enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen(pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, etc.)with updated appliances. We especially enjoyed being so close to 3 nice beaches that were very family friendly and we could swim with the sea turtles any time. There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance and short drives. All in all, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! My first and last impression was, "this place is awesome!"

We spent 5 weeks in this one bedroom condo. The location is perfect; directly across the street from Kamaole Beach II. The grounds and amenities which are provided are great. We enjoyed the use of the two pools, the tennis courts and propane barbecues.. There were lots of pool toys, chairs, tennis racquets etc. for our use.
The owner was very accommodating and we felt very comfortable in his condo. The updated kitchen was well supplied with numerous dishes, pots and pans, utensils and spices. The cupboards, countertops and appliances were topnotch.
The unit was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. A perfect holiday!
We are all ready looking forward to returning.
