The well maintained Kihei Akahi complex has two swimming pools, BBQs, and a tennis court surrounded in a tropical landscaped setting. This complex is directly across the street from popular Kamaole Beach Parks II & III. Turtles regularly visit the area, staying close to the reef, so don't be surprised if you end up experiencing them up close. A short stroll to the end of road is Keawakapu Beach, another local favorite.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. In dire need of a deep clean. Kitchen cupboards in real rough shape; shower air vent is rusted; shower door track is rusted and corroded; lanai furniture needs replacing (filthy cushions and one chair is in need of repair); ceiling fans need servicing( only one speed) and ceiling itself is littered with dust bunnies. Least appealing property we rented in past 15 years.

This is an overall awesome place to spend a few days in Kihei at. The other reviews are spot on. Sure it could use a few upgrades and those who need cold ac throughout may want to look elsewhere, but other than that it was perfect for our needs, expectations and budget. The management company was professional from booking to check out. The location is within easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The mountain and ocean views are great. The parking spot is convenient. If you want a nice, comfortable place to stay that is priced right this is it.

The property was very pleasant and made for a nice holiday. Kitchen is pretty dated. Missing pots and kettle were promptly replaced by property manager. Could use another chair in living space. Otherwise good.

Condo needs updating … Need to replace ceiling vent in shower( full of dirt & rust) Bathroom walls need to be plastered & painted. Main issue is the Bedroom is HOT. No A/C in bedroom and fans didn’t cool off room!

Over all the property was what I was expecting, with a couple of things that could have been better. We were trying to keep the property clean, so we removed our shoes when we entered. But, after a few minutes the bottom of our feet were completely black. Tried to take advantage of the morning and evening breeze, but due to the built-in closet in the bedroom was not able to open the windows.

The place was great! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon; it was very affordable and in the perfect location in Kihei for us to do things around town. It actually got us curious about buying a condo like this for ourselves in the future. **A few things to note though: 1. The AC unit is in the living room and we did not feel the cold air reaching the bedroom at all. 2. There is a laundry unit but no detergent so you need to get your own detergent. 3. There are beach chairs that come with the place which we found to be so helpful so thank you for that!(my wife and I also bought a body surfing board and left it in the apartment for you all)

Great location. Condo was exactly like pictured and the check in process was very easy. Great place to come home to after a day at the beach &/or other excursions. I would definitely like to stay here again the next time I’m in Maui.

The property location is amazing! Couldnt ask for a bettwe one in Kihei. Check in was seamless and parking wss perfect. Loved there was in unit laundry as our luggage didn't arrive so uses that daily. There was lawn chair's for us to use we used that daily. Bed was supwe comfy and everything was very clean. My ONLY complaint was the kitchen could use a facelift. Alot of the cabinet door front's were missing and a couple baseboard were missing. The kitcjen was not inviting but we used for quick breakfasts.

The bedroom was to hot, they had a small ac unit in the living room so we slept on the couch pull out instead of the bedroom. I could hear the neighbors the walls are pretty thin. No view really but very close to shops and beach. The kitchen was nice but had ants.

This resort isn’t worth $450 at all. The place was dirty and everything is falling apart. There is no ac and we found a roach in the bathroom! The unit is so old. When we got there, we asked someone to help us with parking and the girl we talked to didn’t even care. Just gave me the look! Long story short, I didn’t get the parking pass we needed and still got a notice letter in the morning! Terrible experience. Never going back and I wish I could get at least the property fees back!!!! Stay away!

What a wonderful condo. Fantastic breeze through the condo. The bed and couch were very comfortable. Two little things would be, a plug for the kitchen sink as we didn’t need to use the dishwasher and the bathroom sink did not drain very well. Would definitely stay again.
