Just imagine your home away from home - whether you're on vacation, or on a temporary business assignment, or traveling with your children, or visiting by yourself. Stay in this luxuriously renovated 1 bedroom, it comes with a retractable (and completely hidden) partition wall, sleep in our ultra plush 'Chattam & Wells' California King-size bed, sink yourself in a leather sofa & loveseat, use the flat screen HDTV, DVD, stereo, A/C, fully equipped granite-topped kitchen, granite-topped bathroom with thick terry-cloth towels (NOTE: Bathroom is not ADA compliant). The closets are spacious and dresser drawers are ample. You will also find an ottoman that folds out into a twin bed for the 3rd guest. A plush fold out futon is also available to place atop the the twin bed for added padding if desired. The spacious lanai comes with a table setting and a lounge chair and is perfect for outdoor relaxing and private resort dining. The lanai comes with the original sliding 'Ilikai Louvres' for added privacy. Kick back and become mesmerized by the sights and sounds of the tranquil ocean and lagoon on the cooler side of the Ilikai. The unit comes with 5 beach chairs, beach towels, and beach umbrellas available for your use. The Ilikai sits on the shoreline so a visit to Waikiki beach is just a few steps away (no need to walk across busy intersections in your bathing suit). In the evening watch Uncle Richard perform the traditional torch lighting ceremony (as he has been doing for over 45 years!) then celebrate the breathtaking sunset. On Friday and Sunday evenings from 6pm to 8pm, wander to the courtyard and listen to harmonic mele (songs) sung by Kawika's Hawaiian trio and dance troupe. Kawika has been performing at the Ilikai for over 30 years! Swim in our pool or lounge in the wading pool located on the 2nd floor (you can see it directly below our lanai). Enjoy a meal or snack at one of the restaurants or lounges nearby. Savor a cup of coffee downstairs in the Coffee Shop before or after your early morning power walk. Cinnamon's Restaurant is open for cocktails from 11 am. Cinnamon's also serves breakfast beginning at 7 am, lunch at 11 am and dinner from 6 pm to 8 pm. Stroll down our private footbridge, around the Lagoon, chat with the local fishermen at the sea wall, and continue your stroll along the boardwalk along Waikiki Beach. Walk the length of Waikiki Beach enjoying the laughter of children, the hiss of the surf, or the shouts of surfers as they ride the waves. Enjoy the torch lighting ceremony and hula at Kuhio Beach. Our 10th floor lanai offers a front row seat to the Friday night fireworks display as dazzling pyrotechnics soar high above the lagoon and explode into shimmering colorful arrays of light against the blackness of the night. You also have, literally speaking, a balcony view of the spectacular Hilton Hawaiian Hula Show next door. Our specific location in the Ilikai is a treat and we hope you experience the love we have for our hale (home). Jump on a bus and travel to the Aloha Tower Marketplace, listen to the sounds of our famous local musicians. Explore the richness of Chinatown. Go back with us in time as you wander inside the hallowed halls of the Bishop Museum. Visit the US Army Museum at Fort DeRussy. A short walk to the awesome Ala Moana Shopping Center and its famous 'Food Court' then cross the street and walk around Magic Island. Relive a defining moment in our nation's history with a visit to Pearl Harbor. Stay with us at the Ilikai and enjoy luxurious surroundings in paradise. We offer first class amenities at a low price. *Note: Interior photos are actual shots of the condo unit . Lagoon and fireworks photos are actual shots taken while standing in the lanai. *Located on the 10th floor, looking outward (directly 180 degrees on a compass heading - South) at the Pacific Ocean. Simply put: When you're out on the lanai, you are shielded from the hot tropical sun all year long!
