the only thing for me at the time of writing this review, the Property amenities listed a bidet, but there wasn't one in the unit itself.
There is a possibility there was public one in the hotel but I couldn't find it

The condo is located very convenient area, 3 min walk to beach, 10 min walk to Alamoana center, and in front of Waikiki trolley stop. Cleanliness was ok. The owner, Jeannie responded to our questions timely manner and provided helpful information. Overall good quality. Thank you for the great time in Oahu!

The condo was wonderful, clean, and just as listed. The hall way on the 16th floor going to the condo was awful-it smelled so bad of mildew and desperately needs to be addressed. The laundry room on this floor was a mess as well-i would suggest going to a different floor for laundry. There is a lot of noise from the street in the condo. The location of the condo was ideal-walking distance to everything….
While the condo was wonderful and very comfortable-the mildew bothered me enough i would not stay again unless it was fixed. Also all if the ac units/vents need to be cleaned in the condo

Everything was great! There was more than enough space for 7. My only complaint is the front bathroom could use some hooks for towels/ clothes. Everything was conveniently located for walking. Would recommend this place to friends.

Jeannie was prompt and kind in replying to my messages. Great location. We could see the beach, Hilton’s luau, and fireworks from balcony.
Some of the information in the binder could be updated. Parking at Ilikai Marina Garage by Red Lobster for $28 a day seemed to be the best deal.

Generally what was shown in the photos and condo info was accurate. TV in living room was difficult to operate. Proper control not present. Former tenants had changed input options and we had to get technician to make the adjustments. More of a problem for some than others. No cooking was done. Just some leftover warmups. "Vacation" Thank you for letting us use your condo.

Very basic property much like a hotel stay nothing extra. Hotel type soaps, towels, no extras very basic. Not well maintained walls peeling, mold from water damage in bathroom. Very small bedrooms. Does have large windows for light and lots of patio doors. Ok views partial ocean view, city view. Staff of hotel was very nice. Valet prices out of date $45 per day.

My family enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed here. Check in was a breeze, I did come across a little bit of a snag but Jeannie was able to help us get into our room quickly. Amazing views and surrounded with plenty of shops and restaurants (walking distance). Valet is a bonus- didn’t have to find parking on my own and the staff were always quick. I recommend that you have breakfast at Cinnamon’s ( right in the lobby area) very delicious and we were seated fairly quickly (party of 9). Overall experience was A1. Would definitely return.

The ease of checking in and the size of the unit was perfect for our group of 6. Clean, roomy, and near everything we needed. Some parts of the unit needed cosmetic work, but that didn't change the overall appearance of the property.
We'd book it again if we came back. The property manager was easy to work with and got back to us quickly with any questions we had.

The property was absolutely perfect for us! It was convieniently located to everything, just close enough to the heart of Waikiki without being in the middle of it. The condo was clean and exactly as expected! We had one small issue come up and the response time was just amazing.

This was a decent stay. Not too fancy, not too bad. The beds in the second room ( double/ twin ) are very uncomfortable. The twin bed concaves in the middle which made it difficult for a pregnant woman to sleep on and she opted for the smaller couch instead which also concaves in the middle... Unit has a city view and if you really look, you could see the ocean a little. Nice thing was the A/C units. One in the master, one in the second room, and two in the living room. The beach towels came in handy. Overall unit needs to be updated, needs better bedding, and the carpets are dirty, so if your going to stay here, make sure to bring house slippers.
Decided to stay here since we’ve stayed at a beautiful and same sized VRBO at illikai but it was not available. It’s convenient to the ala moana mall, about 0.8-1.5 ish miles to Waikiki, and you can walk down to the beach from Illikai.

Needs upgrading badly. Furnishings are at least 25 years old and falling apart. No room to move in master bedroom. King bed has 4" foam topper, sleeping on a marshmallow. Walls are filthy in need of paint. Bathroom fixtures leaking. TOTALLY OVERSTATED LISTING!

We really enjoyed our time at this location! Seemed rather central to everything we needed and bus 20 brought us right in from airport! Close lagoon with fireworks Friday night at 8! 2nd floor pool was our favorite with kids! (In shade after 2pm…perfect with the hot sun!) Ala Moana park and shopping close too! Some things that were there from previous tenants: a cooler, 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella, air mattresses, and some hangers. Air conditioners were a bit temperamental. A local power outage (quick) reset them and got them back on track.

We had a very comfortable stay here! Be sure to bring your own cleaning supplies to clear up after yourself and dishwasher detergent if you intend on eating in the unit. We thought it’d be a little more decorated and updated for the price, but the views were beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of space for a family with two teenagers and room for when my family who was vacationing with us stopped by. Any questions we did have, were promptly answered by the host or the other contact listed in the binder. Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely book with this host again!

We stayed here with two adults, a 13, 5, 3, and 1year old. There was enough space to spread out and everyone slept comfortably. The property was clean and I appreciated the little extras like dishwasher pods, trash bags, vacuum etc. Those little extras made it easy for us to keep the condo clean. The two lanais were wonderful, but kids will need close supervision as the railings seem to be kind of wide. We didn’t let our 1yo out there at all. Overall we loved the stay and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great week. This location proved great for access to Waikiki activities and walk on beach with close proximity to shops and restaurants. Enjoyed restaurants and shops at Ilikai, so very convenient. We traveled about the island each day, and used the valet service - which was exceedingly helpful and prompt! Unit was clean and had all we needed for our stay.

Comfortable get away for our family of four (which includes two teenagers). The two bedrooms and common area gave everyone enough space to wind down after a day in the sun. In addition, the two lanais allowed us the ventilation and space to have meals with our co-travelers who were staying in a smaller unit two floors down. They provide a small cooler and three beach chairs to enjoy a day out. Enough appliances and dishes to prepare meals including a rice cooker and blender. The place was clean and homey. The property manager, Jennie, was quick to answer any of my questions. Credit Card washer/dryer conveniently at the end of the hall. Beds were comfy and more than adequate AC and fresh air ventilation. Highly enjoyable and recommended.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location as it is within walking distance of many great restaurants, shops, and of course, the ocean. The beds were comfortable, and the 3 televisions came in handy. The host was wonderful about answering all my questions prior to arrival, and the check-in process was easy. I highly recommend this property for your visit to this beautiful island.

-The TVs have Netflix, etc.
-Valet parking was wonderful and it was much cheaper than parking at the other properties/resorts in the area.
-Hui car rentals available on-site that you don't have to pay parking for, and we found many Turo rentals in the area. If you're not familiar with these, I recommend checking them out.
-You are able to store your luggage with the Bellman for $2 per bag, which is very convenient if you are arriving before check-in or have a later flight out.

Upon arrival , things seemed okay. Spacious, and some nice views but it all ended there. We were there for 2 weeks, with our 5 children which meant we would be having some meals there. It was very difficult to do so though as the kitchen was not set up to do so. It has not been properly stocked with cooking supplies/ utensils . A lot of the furnishings are in terrible condition and could do with replacing. We discovered that our bed in our master bedroom was being supported by paint cans and after a night there we had to contact someone to come fix it as the paint can had actually collapsed and spilt onto the floor. One of the beds in the other bedrooms wasn’t attached to the headboard it was just pushed against to look as though it was infact attached.
We have stayed at many VRBO’s over the years and this was a great disappointment. It has not been maintained and it not worth what they are charging. On top of all this you have to pay for parking every day which adds even more to your overall cost.

We shared the unit with our friends. We had 7 people total including kids. The 2nd bedroom had zero storage options so we had to go buy hangers to get our suitcase unpacked. The bathrooms were nice size and the lanais were nice. We didn’t have any issues with the unit and the building was nice. Lots to do within walking distance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the condo. The kitchen was big enough to move around and easy to cook home cooked dinners. Our daughter and grandkids were supposed to travel but were unable to at the last minute so we had the whole condo to ourselves. I had a couple of questions which Jeannie promptly replied to. Very easy to access the condo for check in and check out. Didn't have to stand in line. Washer and dryer down the hall made it easy to wash, and all the directions I was given prior to check in were simple to follow.. I highly recommend staying here, Waikiki is right down the street and beach access as well. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay!

We love staying at the Illikai due to it's proximity to the beach, Cinnamons, and the mall. Jeannie was very responsive to my questions and accommodated our party of 5 with no problems: extra towels, beach towels, toiletries, etc. She was quick to respond to any issues too. If you're renting from an owner like we did you will not have access to a busboy or cart so pack where you can carry your luggage up the stairs to the elevator. There is an outside elevator but you still need to carry your luggage from the drop off area to that elevator. Our kids were going back to college so they had excess luggage on this trip.

Our stay was awesome! The location was great. It wasn't in the heart if Waikiki but it was easier to get to and out of because of that.
I suggest you do the valet parking for 28bucks a day. That was the most convenient.
The room could have used more supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, cooking supplies, trash bags, blanket and pillow for the pull out couch. Other then that it was a great stay!

Everyone enjoyed the stay. So glad it was a fully equipped kitchen. The balconies were especially nice because you had multiple views.
There were two unexpected things. One was that the water in the master bedroom wasn't very hot at all. The other is that housekeeping knocked on the door a little before 9a the day of our departure which almost interrupted our work session. I advised we weren't checking out until 11a which they said they knew. Not sure why they showed up so early.
Nevertheless, the overall stay was great and I'd rent again.

The beds are not comfortable and they make a lot of noise with the slightest movement. We also found hair and balls of dust on the floor. And there were no bathroom rugs in the bathrooms.
Other than that, the location is at a great spot and the views are nice, and it has air conditioning.

The property was very nice, spacious for our family of six.
We did have some wifi issues at first but Jeannie was very quick to reply back to help us. We also called maintenance but they never called us back on two units not working, however they began to work 2 days later. We did not expect to have to leave the condo for pest control spraying. Overall the condo is great.

I arrived at the property with no check-in/ room key information. The staff at the hotel/property said they "had nothing to do with the VRBO rentals" so I ended up going to security to get checked in. The security took me to the room only to find out the apartment was a complete MESS. I was very disappointed. I reached out to the host and she offered to get me a night stay in a room at the hotel, which was impossible because they were sold out. So I decided to cancel my entire reservation and then the host agreed to refund me. She was apologetic but I ended up staying at a different hotel. I was not happy with this experience overall.

I'm glad I was able to find an awesome property at a good location. We had no issues with our stay. The check in and check out process was simple. The condo was as described. We really liked how there was ample space for the 5 of us. My son loved his alone time hanging out in his own lanai when we were home, with my teen daughter occupying their shared room, and our little one hanging out in the living area. Some say the beds were hard but we didn't have an issue with it. My husband, little one, and myself slept on the firm king sized bed. We loved that each room had its own lanai entrance and bathroom. The location was walking distance to shops, restaurants, and beaches. Only complaint was that it was hard finding the entrance to the Ilikai parking lot. My sister later told me the parking lot was through valet only. We ended up not needing it as there was free street parking behind the building which we were lucky to find everyday. We would definitely stay here again for vacation. Thanks for a memorable stay!!

The location is great! Not in the middle of everything but walkable. I never got the access code in an email or app and they never responded to an email. Finally had to call and we got the code. The apartment is beautiful and you get a peek of the ocean on the bedroom balcony. Beds were not super comfy.
