The hotel itself is lovely, a collection of stores, including no a convenience store on the lobby floor.

The room is beautiful, I’ve stayed places that have a kitchen before and had old appliances, these are all new and work well. The room was very clean and has plenty of towels for our stay.
We have already discussed booking again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The location is amazing, everything we expected from seeing the listing was accurate. It was a lovely option to rent a condo in Honolulu vs. staying in a hotel, so if that’s what you’re considering I’d highly recommend this building. It’s also a condo/hotel in one so there’s shops in the hotel, if that’s something you’re looking for (and lots of shopping near by). It’s an older hotel, things like the bathroom aren’t as updated as some, but absolutely nothing wrong with it. Bed was super comfy and views amazing. Parking is included which is a huge bonus, but my only recco is to make a note prior to check in that you have to drive to the reserved level. We were able to drive into level A, which is valet, and were driving around the whole area unsure of how to park - slightly clearer parking instructions would be helpful! Also, a note that there is recycling in the building and it would be nice to have a bin for that separately so when you toss everything out you can separate it.

loved this place, we have stayed in Waikiki many times, this was our first time this far north. great location and the place was really nice, stainless kitchen, one of the rooms has a sliding door for privacy instead of a regular door but its fine, the other room is at the other end of the condo. incredible view made it a 5 star stay. looking over the boats and the water was super cool.

The location was perfect for us. Very short walk to the beach and everything you needed was provided. Great view from the balcony of the Hilton luau and Fireworks. The valet was very quick and professional and worth the price for the convenience. The laundry room was convenient.
The host Brad was very responsive and unit was just as described.

Area is all tile. Plentiful kitchen utensils although we didn’t use it much. Beds were easy to sleep in and pull out couch was utilized by the kids. Wife noticed true kitchen area flooring was a bit sticky and gritty but the rest of the studio was fine. Plenty of towels available as well as a couple boogie boards. Balcony had some nice comfortable chairs and some extra foldout chairs.
Parking is valet (no self park) at $45/day l and the staff there are extremely personable and efficient to get your car whenever you need it.
No need to check in at the lobby since this is a private own.

Overall everything was great ! The bed was a little soft for our comfort though. One of the best places to be when u are in tje Condo, is to spend it on the balcony as u listen to the waves and the cool breeze. It was so soothing.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely accommodation.
The Ilikai’s main pool is heated. It is a good location near restaurants and the Ala Moana Center.
My only comment would be to clearly suggest label the knobs on the stove they are not well marked at all. It was very hard to see how hot the burners were.
It would also have been nice to have had an electric kettle. It took a very long time to boil water on the stove.
An electric kettle would be much quicker and more economical also much safer we talked to a few people that had similar accommodations and they shared our opinion.

This place was sooooo easy to check into. It was great. From here you are close to everything Waikiki and Ala Moana shopping area/ beach, all walking distance.
We here for family so we needed to be able to drive around easily . This spot made it easy to get in and out of downtown.

We have stayed at the Ilikai numerous times and one of the priorities is to get an ocean view and this property fits the bill. It has an expansive view and comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy.
Pros
- TVs in every room for those who need variety.
- Bathrooms were clean
- Lots of closet space and hangers
- Sofa and armchairs were comfortable
- Master king bed was very comfortable
Cons
- The floor did not seem to be cleaned prior to moving in. The bottom of our socks were dirty after walking around.
- The A/C units were very noisy.
- Chairs around round table were very uncomfortable.
All in all a very enjoyable experience.

This was a modern room on a very high floor in the Ilikai Luxury Suites and hotel. We loved the location since it was walking distance to everything. It was right next to the elevators and it was clean, bright, and had everything we were looking for. Room had a clean smell, which is an A+. We had an amazing view and it was prime location to view the Friday night fireworks. Wall to wall lanai was amazing and we all loved the view. The AC was an added bonus after long hot days. Kitchen was very clean and had plenty of dishes, cutlery, and appliances but we barely used them. The bed was comfortable and had clean sheets, and I appreciate the extra bedding provided for use on the sofa bed. The bathroom was spacious and the vanity had very ample counter space and a lot of storage room. I liked the fact that there were swim towels and shower towels provided. The only two minor things I would suggest replacing is the shower head and the shower (white) towels. The shower head had the typical buildup that caused it to spray in different directions and the shower towels were pretty linty - but these are first world problems and preference; overall they served its purpose.
If I were to ever come back to Waikiki, I would definitely come back here again. We loved the whole vibe of the hotel and the convenience of location. Communication turnaround time with the host is instant.

Was in town for a memorial service. Appreciated the convenience and ease of this reservation. Some responsibility on the guest to take garbage out at end I think can help remind guests to be thoughtful through their stay and must help in maintaining the quality of the space. We were beyond happy with this stay. The condo itself is well stocked and comfortable. The views were beyond compare. This was by far our favourite vacation and the accommodation played a huge role. Mornings were spent sipping a coffee while admiring the view. I will never forget the view.
Comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom. The location was perfect, we walked the entirety of Waikiki beach every day.

Our stay at IIikai Apt Bldg was as I hoped it would be, a clean place big enough b together. There was a master bedrooms king size bed with two closets and bathroom with shower and tub. The other bedroom had a twin bed and full size bed, and that room had a connected door to the shared bathroom with the rest of the condo. The two sofas let down to a full size bed. There were six adults in our party with one female, so everyone slept comfortably. There wasn't bedding for both sofas when we arrive for the first night. However, the owner was very responsive to my request and arranged for another blanket and sheet by the next afternoon. My contract gave me 24 hours of arriving to let them know of any issues. I notice two lamps were cracked when we arrive, so not to be held responsible, I reported it to the owner. She replaced them the next morning. We were on the 16th floor and it was very windy during our stay, so it limited being able to leave the sliding door to the balcony open on one side. There was rain showers off and on our entire stay which keep temperature mild. I appreciated all the kitchenette provided: full size refrigerator, stove top with oven, microwave, dishwasher and pots, skillets, plates, glasses, mugs, eating utensils. The stove was electric [I've always had a gas stove.] My son made a full breakfast which we ate at a six seat dining table. I enjoyed our stay at this location The owner was easy to communicate with and pleasant and responsive to my request.

We had a fantastic week in this place. Stayed there as a family of four. As we were out all day, the space was absolutely fine. It is well equipped and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We enjoyed the walking distance to the beaches and shopping. We parked our car in the Marina parking garage which is only 2 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous penthouse condo. We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday and our group was all female (ages 22, 50, 56, 58 and 81). Conveniently located near dining, shopping, lagoon and beach. Great for watching the fireworks (Friday evenings at 7:45pm) from the Lanai. The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of servingware, utensils, pots & pans. Large dining table and couch - good for 5-6 people. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, but we don't spend a lot of time in those areas while on vacation, so not a big issue for us. Lobby level of the Ilikai has a shop where you can get groceries, toiletries and paper goods. Would definitely stay here again for a girls trip, 2 couples, or family vacation.

The views from the balconies were amazing, the location was fantastic. However, the listing states 3 bedrooms but it is actually 2 bedrooms, the living room is considered the 3rd bedroom. The couch unfolds into a bed.
So, if you have a family of 4 or more you might want to take that into consideration. No privacy for the ones sleeping in the living.
Ceiling fans are outdated, and the one in the master bedroom does make a scraping noise when on as the blades hit the glass light cover. The chains on the ceiling fans are hard to function and the extension cord to the ceiling fans are hard to twist on and off because on the chains wrapped around them.
In the master bedroom be careful of the wood decorations on the wall above the bed as they are flimsy and tend to fall on your head in the middle of the night. They are not secured properly to the wall.
Another thing we noticed that happened occasionally while we were out and about or in the middle of the night during our stay, is that several books would some how fall from the shelves and end up on the floor in the 2nd bedroom. We didn't want to pay too much attention to that but it was weird.

This condo is beautiful just like the posted photos, and our family of 5 was very comfortable staying here for a week. Kitchen and bathroom amenities were well stocked and the views of the ocean and city from the 2 lanai's were wonderful. The location is excellent and the included parking spot was a real bonus. We had a awesome time at the condo. The property manager was attentive and responded fast. When I asked for extra beach towel he made sure to contact the maid for it. The location of the condo had a great view of the beach and marina. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.

All in all, this was a solid 4 out of 5 star stay. The location is great. The hotel is just okay. Keep in mind, you are staying at a hotel. Your VRBO expense could be more than the cost of actually staying at this hotel (or any other) .. just without any of the accoutrements you would get when you stay at the hotel, i.e. fresh linens, towels, use of the exercise facility, etc. We stayed for a week. The room was clean and mostly as expected. The mattress is akin to sleeping in a large, soft bathtub as it is well worn and dips in the center around 4" or more. The wife and I slept with our heads on the top corners and with our feet criss-crossed in the trench in the middle of the mattress. The provided items were all very bare minimum type quality and quantity (i.e. you get one beach towel and one bath towel per person for your entire stay). There is a conveniently placed laundry room right next door .. each load will cost you approximately $8-12 depending on how well the dryer works.Traffic can be a big deal. You will hear every loud car on the street.Contacting the owner/operator was curt, without substance and not super helpful.Not a bad experience but, there are better options for the price.

Views of the ocean from two decks were fabulous. Location is central to the beach and restaurants. The condo is bright and sunny. living room seating accommodates up to 4 guests comfortably. Kitchen is not well stocked if you plan to cook, but we dined out so it was not an issue. Can’t beat the location and views from this condo.

The pictures do not lie, the view from the balcony is AWESOME! We left doors open constantly without use of air conditioning and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. The silence of our home was deafening upon return. This unit is absolutely on the best wing of the Ilikai! Very thankful for our Hawaii home away from home! We found the Ilikai Marine Parking Garage entrance on Hobron St and were very happy with the walk to the car and the security the garage provided for the rental car.
