The blinds needed to be repaired in place's (oddly enough a guy showed up just as we were leaving to replace the blinds. The single head AC system was a bit under sized and struggled to keep the room at a comfortable temp in late afternoon and into early evening but in all it was a truly nice place.

Another wonderful stay in this beautiful condo! It's perfectly placed to enjoy gorgeous views of the ocean and see the Friday night fireworks. This was our 3rd visit and we'll be coming back because the condo is ideally loctated for a number of attractions, as well as the beach and the two pools. Your choice - rest or play and have fun. This unit included garage parking under the building which made things extremely easy when going out on adventures around the island and returning. There were more than enough spaces to find adjacent to the elevators.The owner of the unit handles the communications for check in and check out and does so in a timely manner which made the whole process very easy.If I were to return back to Hawaii and the Honolulu area I would most definitely try to utilize this unit again!I had some really great sunset photos but this site won’t let me upload them…..you would think VRBO would have figured it out by now!!

It was nice to have paid self parking across the street (33/day) and all the eateries coffee, bakery, ice cream, restaurant, wine, grocery and gifts shop all on the lobby floor so convenient. The bathroom and kitchen were not impressed. Tiny bottles of shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom. Pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils not in good shape. No basic kitchen supplies like coffee pot filters, plastic wrap, ziplock or foil. No seasoning or designated spot for seasonings. We bought everything for the kitchen but afraid to leave anything behind for risking extra charges because no designated spot for any kitchen supplies. We would rate higher if the kitchen is stocked with a bit of basic supplies and just salt/seasonings. We stayed 4 nights.

We absolutely loved our stay in this location at this facility. The view is incredible from the deck! Our experience with communication with our host were excellent. The only reason we did not give a five star review is that there was an air condition leakage issue that we had to deal with when we got to the condo. We were very tired from traveling, and we ended up missing the entertainment at our facility as well as the Friday night fireworks which we were very much looking forward to since we were leaving the following Friday. I must say, though, our experience with Tom, who is this condo’s cleaner and the air condition repairman were extremely kind and helpful and even shared some thoughts as to the things we should do during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here for the location, close to shopping and restaurants, the gorgeous view, great beach area, great restaurants on the facility at the Ilikai.And very easy to work with hosts.

The room was very well equipped; it had everything we needed (cutlery, pots, sun loungers, beach towels, even a beach umbrella). Additionally, they truly care about their guests. After we reported that one wine glass was missing, they delivered four new glasses to us the very same day. We really enjoyed our stay and had a beautiful view from the window. The only thing that slightly disappointed us was the disconnecting Wi-Fi/internet. Highly recommend!

This property is listed as "3 bedroom" but it is one bedroom remodeled into 2 bedroom. The "3rd bedroom" is a couch in the living room. The host said that it is totally fine to misrepresent an appt like that and refused to refund our money. We had to rent another property for the 3rd bedroom at the last moment. Parking and check in was good, however, we were very disappointed to find what appeared to be ghost ants crawling in multiple places of the unit. I called the host immediately upon arrival once we realized they weren't going away. I really appreciated that the host answered my call immediately. We were told they were from the fresh flowers but we removed the flowers immediately and the ant-type bugs persisted during our whole stay and were found in several areas of the unit. The host offered a credit for a future stay but we won't use it. Black pieces were blowing out of the living room A/C unit, most likely from it being very dirty. Looking at the bathroom vents it looked like the inside had not been cleaned for many years because there was a thick, heavy layer of dust inside the vent. The location of this unit was perfect and close walking distance to so much but we just couldn't get comfortable with how many ghost ants there were.

The condo was clean. The view was great. It very much took away from our vacation, the fact that the unit was terrible. Everything old, cheap and awful. The pictures of the unit are definitely years old. There were no bedspreads; only sheets. When was the last time it was painted? It looked like a frat house. Everything about it was disappointing. What made it even worse was looking forward to it for 10 months, paying approx. 5,000 for a week (including fees and taxes) and getting that. If someone asked me if I wanted to stay there for free or pay to stay somewhere else, I would pay to stay somewhere else. The difference in the pictures and what it is actually like is shocking.

Great view, convenient location inside Ilikai Hotel property with a market and coffee shops etc. AC was nice and quiet. We wished we could see the fireworks from the lanai but it was right behind the Hilton so we only enjoyed the sound of it. However, we got to see Hilton luau almost every night from our lanai. Only constructive feedback is that the dishwasher was unusable, the door cannot be opened. Other than that, we’re happy to have chosen this room!

First, I love the Ilikai Hotel - it has great amenities. Great location. This time I appreciated being higher up, on the 16th floor with a terrific view of the Ala Moana marina, the ocean, and hotel grounds below. There was a minor glitch checking in - the instructions for unlocking the door on the keypad were not entirely correct, but I called Hawaii Lei Realty and someone came to fix the situation.Overall, I enjoyed staying in the unit. One thing that would have been helpful is instructions on how to use the two TV remotes. I'm not tech savvy but I managed to figure it out - for the future: hit the power on the Spectrum remote, then hit the on-off button on the Spectrum unit, wait for it to display 2d, then back to the time, then turn on the power on the TV remote. I don't know how I figured this out but I did!

We needed an early check in as our flight was an early flight; we were able to get it and the price was very fair. The view from the balcony was awesome and the balcony was especially clean, we spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the view. We have stayed at the Illikai twice before and the other units did not compare. Our stay at this condo felt like we were at home. We were allowed to check in early to drop off our bags. We did have an issue with the cable and internet. David the maintenance man came to help within ten mins after my call. It took awhile to get him to get the tv to work. The WiFi never worked though. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The a/c worked very well. The hotel had a very nice restaurant on the top floor. The hotel market was good with nice prices for souvenirs. The owner Nicole was very good with communication. Overall our stay was great and we would love to stay again the next time we come to Waikiki.
