It’s very clean and modern. The home is located in a very busy building, which sits perfectly in the middle of lots of action. There are live shows downstairs most nights and plenty of things to do within walking distance. Once back in the condo, you are safe and secure and in your zen oasis. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is a hotel snob like me! It’s pristine and quite well appointed.

The condo was perfect for my stay in Waikiki. It was close enough to walk to the busiest area of Waikiki shopping and restaurants but I wasn't in the middle of it. I loved the proximity to the beach, it was an easy walk. There was a grocery store within walking distance to get breakfast food to cook for the week and some snacks.
The condo itself was clean and there weren't any issues with the wifi or TV. The condo had some beach essentials that I could use like beach chairs, umbrella, beach mats and a cooler - which was great to not have to rent them or just use a towel on the beach.
I wished there had been an initial k-cup for the coffee machine since I didn't go to the grocery store the evening I arrived. And, I woke up early due to the time change and no coffee shops were open yet, I had to settle for 7-11 coffee the first morning! I also wished there had been some basic seasonings like salt and pepper, but I did get take-out one day and grabbed a few extra salt and pepper packets to use to season my eggs for breakfast so I didn't have to go buy any seasoning.
I appreciated the ice trays that were "small cubes" for water bottle use.
The pans and dishes were sufficient in the kitchen, no issues there. There isn't a dishwasher, but that wasn't a huge deal since I primarily only cooked/ate breakfast in the condo so I didn't have a ton to clean.
Loved the view from the condo and its location. I'd definitely recommend this condo for someone visiting the area.

I have been to Waikiki many, many times and have stayed in both hotels and condos. This condo is the CLEANEST and most well stocked unit I have ever stayed in! The ocean view is spectacular and we spent many hours everyday sitting on the lanai enjoying the views. The owner Jana was very quick to respond to my questions and made it easy for me to extend my reservation. The only suggestion I have is very minor and is for a floor or counter fan to be provided for the bathroom to help move air around because it stays very warm in there.
The Ilikai Hotel has a convenient market and a casual restaurant in the lobby. Anything else you might want or need is within walking (or trolley) distance. The heated pools are fantastic and it's a short walk to the lagoon and beach. The public areas of the hotel (elevators, laundry rooms) are in need of some cosmetic maintenance but the spectacular condition of this condo more than makes up for it. We will definitely book this condo again on our next trip to Waikiki!

Upon arrival it was so easy to access the room and communicating with the Host was easy, she responded quickly to any of our questions. The view, the view, the view! WOW! One of best views from any room I have EVER seen!! We did cook while we were here and the kitchen is very well appointed. Should i visit Honolulu again, I would book this same room again! Was a great, comfortable stay!

Overall this was a good experience. Room was nice, pictures are accurate of the room. We were a little worried arriving the first day however, the hallway at the room was under repair from what appeared to be a water leak. The valet parking has increased to $45 a day, but the valet’s done an excellent job and we’re helpful with directions and local attractions. As to my star rating on cleanliness and accuracy of description was due to hallway, room was very clean and cost listed for parking.

Jana was an absolute dream to communicate with! She accommodated an early check in for us since our flight got in earlier than anticipated and we had our toddler with us. The place was immaculately clean and the view was gorgeous! So close to anything you might need (stores/restaurants).
Only thing that sucked was paying for parking EVERYWHERE we went. Which obvi isn’t Jana’s fault but just want others to be aware that if you are staying in Oahu, parking will cost an arm and leg no matter where you go.
Honestly, there’s no negatives to saying on Jana’s property. My husband and I scratched our heads and thought for quite some time but couldn’t think of any negatives.

We came to Oahu just to see Pearl Harbor, which was excellent. It was so good, we to Back to Pearl Harbor to see the things we couldn't fit in, the first day. Oahu is busy, the hotel is dated, but this condo was a 5/5. Super clean, ocean view, air conditioning, thank God. Yes, I would definitely recommend.

1st timers in Hawaii and we had a blast! Started planning our next trip back while still in Hawaii. The condo was great for us (two adults & one 11 year old) but here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
Convenient & centralized location (you can walk to lots of places - restaurants, bars, stores, etc…).
Beautiful ocean view from the lanai
Didn’t cook at all but there is a stove, microwave and full size fridge which we did use for a few groceries that needed to be refrigerated
Hostesses Jana was very responsive
Beach towels, umbrella, chairs & mats provided, we used all of it (thank you)
A/C unit works great but really not needed with the ceiling fans
The Hilton Hawaiian village is located right next-door and we used the lagoon area twice. Short walk next door. Our 11 year old loved it!
Cons:
Upon check-in we were told the Ilikai was not allowing any more parking for condo guests, only hotel guests. Just FYI, there is absolutely NO street parking so you must park in a parking garage. They directed us to the Ilikai Marina parking garage which is right around the corner, it’s a short walk but makes carrying in bags, groceries or anything else in from the car a bit of a pain.
None of the ice machines on any of the floors worked. We were told due to COVID so if you want ice be prepared to buy it from the store.
Set of 4 towels, wash cloths and hand towels was provided but for clean towels you are responsible for washing those towels in the laundry room down the hall. Fortunately when I inquired w/ Jana she sent a set of towels up (thank you so much) but she did inform me that guests are responsible for washing them if/when needed.
Busy hotel/condo so the wait for an elevator up and/or down can be frustrating at times.
Down below from the lanai is the loading dock. On both Monday & Wednesday nights (around 11PM - 12AM) we heard what sounded like some kind of glass/can recycle dump (the crashing glass was very loud)
Would be nice if the curtains were blackout curtains. They are somewhat sheer and don’t completely close (leaving gaps) for light from the neighboring high rises to come through
All in all we would return to this rental, it was a great stay! We didn’t spend much time in the room except to sleep/shower so it was perfect for us

I started our family (3 audults) stay initially thinking this was a lovely apartment / unit in a good position, but as our 4 days progressed I ended up thinking this was the best package we could of chosen.
The location was superb for early morning runs along the beach, leisurely strolls to watch the sunsets. Everything you'd need was either walkable or a cheap $3 local buses ride.. which we also used to/from the airport stopped outside the Ilikai hotel.
The apartment was the best I've stayed in Hawaii .. I can say that as currently in a 'much worse' place for only a little less money.
Thanks to our host Jana, (also great) for a wonderful stay.. I'd be back tomorrow if there was a vacancy.

This stay and property was perfect for our stay, coming from the UK we have never been to any of the islands and this did not disappoint! My favourite part was drinking tea from bed in the morning, with the amazing view of the ocean. This apartment is in a hotel. so it's a mix of holiday makes and owners, which was perfect for us, there is a small shop and about 20 min stroll to Waikiki Beach. Loved that there were beach chairs and cool box, all very easy! Thank you and hopefully we will stay again!

We had a wonder week at the Ilikai! The host was very kind and easy to communicate with. The condo is a short walk to the beach, lagoon and many other places.
We rented surf boards and paddle boards from Dukes Lagoon in the Ilikai resort. They were AMAZING!!! We loved the fireworks on Friday night along with the free Hula show. The condo itself was very clean, updated and stocked perfectly. We had access to chairs, a cooler and many other amenities.
Great vacation and would love to visit again!

Easy check in process. Clean unit with many of the nice basic essentials. Nice view but if you want to see the Friday fireworks at 8 pm go downstairs towards the lagoon which was great to swim in during the day when the pool was crowded. Another tip is get the TCL app if you want to watch TV or Netflix. Overall definitely a pleasant experience

Very nice location! Got to go to the beach, lagoon and pool all in the same day almost every afternoon or morning. Owner was very responsive and room had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels and more. We were a family of four and throughly enjoyed our stay! Book now!

Property was as advertised. Good location if you are interested in being in the city. Traffic along side of the unit out to à large public parking area was quite loud. Detracted from nice view from the lanai. Unit could use some additional clothes storage. Pool was nice. Had a greet dinner at the Pesca restaurant located on site. ABC store accross street and market in shopping area off lobby had good supply of basics. Car parking valet service was hood. We arrived 6 pm and bus boys had left and there were no luggage carts so we had to make multiplte trips to get luggage and goceries to the unit. All in all very happy with our stay.

This spot was absolutely amazing. Let me just say, I’m a bit of a germophobe and I clean any place I stay in before unpacking. This place was so clean, I didn’t have to do that. It was clean, neat, and conveniently located to the beach and many other eateries and shops. My husband and I staycationed (from Maui) for 4 nights. We would definitely rent this unit again! Exceeded my expectations. The unit was very clean, bed was very comfortable, the view was amazing! We spent morning coffee and evening sunset on the Lanai. The owner Jana was vey responsive when the coffee pot carafe cracked. Within 2 hours after messaging she had a replacement at the unit! Great property!

My family and I come to Oahu every year to visit friends and family; usually we split time between staying with family and a few nights at the Modern Honolulu across the street. This year we decided to stay the whole 12 days at Jana’s condo at the Ilikai (we really like being at the harbor end of the waikiki strip) and we were so impressed with the cleanliness and comfort. The view is amazing; I loved waking up to the ocean view and sometimes even a rainbow every morning. Seriously this condo got us considering buying a condo at the Ilikai because we loved it so much. The kitchen has everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. We used the beach chairs and towels almost every day and it was super convenient to be able to do laundry just down the hall. We had a minor issue with the tv remote in the bedroom but Jana was very quick to respond to my email and had it handled by the cable company the same day. 10/10 would definitely book this condo again!!

It's walkable to everything, beach, bars and restaurants. The unit has sliding doors to close off the bedroom. Beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels were provided. I had some issues with th TV remote, not a big deal, but I downloaded the TCL app and it worked perfectly. The bed and couch were comfortable, nice kitchen.

We rented the condo for about a week and a half for our family vacation which included our 2
Kids (20,16). Condo is as advertised. Very clean and the view of the ocean doesn’t disappoint. I travel to Oahu several times a year for biz so I am familiar with some of the best areas to stay in. This one is just far enough from the busy part of Waikiki but close enough you can walk there in less than 10 min. So the location is ideal. We would for sure rent this property again.

Everything was thoughtfully done by the Apartment manager Jana - from the check-in to the exit. This apartment is part of the majestic Ilikai resort and as such you get to enjoy 2 pools, restaurant and valet parking facilities. Beds were super comfy and the furnished kitchen was so useful.

We were nervous about traveling to Hawaii from the mainland with all the COVID-19 protocols, but the property owner was so accommodating - she even allowed us to move our dates up due to a change in travel plans.
The room was just as it was described and photographed. The A/C worked great, and the view of the ocean was beautiful! We enjoyed Dave’s Ice Cream Shop and Hawaiian Aroma Cafe downstairs (several times!) 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wow, wow, wow! This Vacation Rental Studio is Great! The Studio is VERY clean, well stocked with towels & soap and has a full kitchen! The balcony/lanai is huge with plenty of space with tables and chairs for meals or sipping a cocktail watching sailboats at sunset! There's plenty of beach gear and chairs. You can go to the pool or walk to the beach in no time! The location is also great for Dining, Shopping or exploring Waikiki! The communication with the owner, Jana is seamless and she is there to help with any questions or recommendations (there's also a detailed "Home Book" with everything from Tv information, recommendations, parking information and more).
The view is spectacular! Ocean blue waters during the day and bright orange sunsets at night! There's also occasionally a live Hawaiian Luah with hula dancers, Hawaiian music and a person explaining Hawaiian history that you can see from the balcony. The Studio is very quiet and has a great AC unit along with 2 TVS! Right downstairs of the Hotel there is a restaurant with the best Cinnabon's and eggs benedict, an ice cream parlor, a coffee shop where you can get fresh juice, acai bowels, croissant sandwiches and more! There's also a convenience store as well where you can get snacks, drinks, sun tan lotion etc. Anytime we come to Oahu this is the one we ALWAYS look for. Its simply amazing! There's a reason it gets booked up fast and the reviews are amazing- because this one is great! You won't regret it! We will be back Jana! Thank you again, for another great stay! :) Aloha!

The property was perfect for the two of us - we had two large suitcases and two golf bags. There was plenty of room for storing the travel bags in the front closet, the clubs off to the side in the living room, one suitcase on a luggage rack, and one stowed under the bed. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed and there was ample counter space in the bathroom. I loved that there was a key code and not an old school key that we had to keep track of. Great view and the blazing sun never came directly in to the unit. The wall AC unit and ceiling fans were fantastic. If you're a coffee drinker, you'll either need to get yourself a reusable K-cup, or purchase K-cups over there. Though valet parking is kind of spendy, the valet kids were wonderful. Will definitely bookmark this unit for future visits.

We loved everything about staying in the Ilikai and waking up each morning to the most beautiful view of the Lagoon and beach. The condo had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again. It was perfectly clean and organized. Our 2 daughters were very comfortable on the pullout couch and my husband and I had privacy with a king bed, yet it was still very intimate and cozy as a family. I prefer to shop and prepare some of the meals when we're on vacation and the kitchen was modern and stocked with everything we needed. When I had a question about something, Jana responded very quickly and made sure we had all that we needed. We were in Hawaii to enjoy the beach so we didn't ever go to the pools, but we could see them out the window. They would have been a nice addition for lounging if we had had the time. We've stayed in the Ilikai before and knew what to expect from the facilities and were so happy with choosing this condo. I miss it already. Thank you!

Pros: the photos of the place are extremely accurate. Lots of restaurants and shopping in very short walking distances. Well-appointed and updated decor. Did not hear any neighbors through the walls. It was perfect for our group of two, but more than that might be tight.
Cons: parking is extremely expensive, even if the valet people were very nice and helpful. The nightly luau on the roof next door and be pretty loud. Which takes away from sitting on the Lanai in the evenings. There needs to be a fitted sheet on the mattress, because you are constantly fixing the the bottom sheet because it pulls out every night.
