Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and view and from there it goes downhill. Condo #2029 pictures are not representative of what shape the condo is in. Walls are scuffed and in need of paint. Carpet is worn and has holes. Bed pillows are of low quality and stained. Kitchen sinks grout needs attention. Electric stove needs a deep cleaning especially the burner drip pans. The most disgusting was the air vent above the stove. It was caked with grime and accumulated dirt/dust. No fire extingusher and there needs to be a posted placard for emergency exit route on entry door. Entry door needs adjustment as it sticks when trying to open. I'm 6'1 in good shape and it was hard for me to open. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. Bed was comfortable.

Two things about the condo that were not issues but a bit of an annoyance for our Three week stay. 1 there was no dresser or storage that accommodated all our cloths for that length of stay. 2 ... the sliding wheels on the door to the lanai were worn out and opening the door was a two person job whenever we went out to enjoy the beautiful view. These to inconveniences were not an issue for us and our overall enjoyment of the facility but we feel that in a review it may be an issue for others looking at this rental. Overall we can not say enough good things about the property or the accommodating management. We travel to Hawaii twice a year and will definitely be reserving this property from now on when we travel there if it is available.

I travel for business 2 weeks per month to Oahu and usually look to stay near Ilikai. The building has everything you need with a small grocery store, great coffee shop, ice cream parlor, poke restaurant and Cinnamons restaurant. The sunset views are perfect and you are steps from the beach. The unit is a little dated but super clean and very comfortable.

Great location and with a view that was better than the picture! Could see the surfers every day and a perfect Uber pick up that everyone knows. We would gladly stay in this location again. Condo didn't disappoint! Tip-Locate the bather's elevator on your first day.

It was clean, just enough space for our family of four (our little ones are 6 and 8), and amazing amenities (pool, parking space, outdoor space and central to a ton of excellent food options!). The apartment is very clean. Perfect view, easy check in . Amenities offered by Hotel were excellent. Only problem was 1 small bottles of toiletries were given for our 3 days stay. And even if they have kitchen there is not many basic ingredients to cook anything.

The Ilikai, did NOT over promise and under deliver and this view and condo is worth a MILLION DOLLARS! The sunsets and sunrises made our vacation worth it! The Ilikai is an older condo, are there newer condos with more eventful experiences and shopping? The answer is YES? There is no point denying that, but the close proximity to the ocean, selection of activities and things to do for fun, availability of restaurants to choose from, the easiness of walking, EVERYTHING was GREAT! Paul kept in communication with anything that we needed, the condo was fully stocked with basic supplies, as a matter of fact, honestly if it's just a couple, we really didn't need to go to purchase basic supplies such a toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc, we did because we thought we needed to, but we left all of those items. We recommend booking this great condo, you won't be disappointed.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo and could not get enough of the beautiful view. Enjoyed sunsets on the balcony. The kitchen could be better organized but it had all of the basics. The bed was comfortable and the balcony had all the supplies you might want for the beach. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best and the handle was definitely dated but it was sufficient for our stay. AC worked very well. All in all, a great place to stay, but they could do a few minor upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen and make it an even better place.

Very smooth & efficient check in system. It was a real pleasure staying in this condo. We have stayed in quite a few condos at Ilikai and this one was our best experience. Very clean, well appointed and supplied. Furnitures were all in good condition. No problems with WiFi or anything. Five stars for this condo. Only the weekend evening loud music & rowdy party noise from next door the Modern Hotel was annoying.

The property is in a great location - easy in and out. It is very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. The underground parking made things pretty convenient. All in all we had a great stay at a great property. We would definitely come back.

Overall good location, nice facility and property but the place definitely needed to be cleaned. Nothing that hindered our stay but the shower head was dirty and found clumps of hair on the lanai.
