This condo was not as expected. The pictures make the condo look bigger than it actually is. It is difficult to walk around this apartment as soon as you bring suitcases in, as they take up the only space in which to walk. The bathroom is actually part of the closet, so there is no lock for the door and there is no fan, so it stays damp most of the time. The biggest gripe is that there were tiny ants in the property. So at first glance the apartment looks clean, but the second you take food out, there are ants all over. This condo may be suitable for some, but unfortunately I would not stay there again with my family of 4.

We loved this place. It was tight space for us and our two teenaged boys, but just enough space to not feel cramped in. Beautiful view of the beach/ocean from the balcony. I could sit out there all day and be happy. Location was ideal -- next to all the craziness of Waikiki beach & shops/restaurants but still in a quiet/peaceful area. Definitely would return.

Condo was perfect for us. The decor is lovely in a blue beach theme with lots of handy kitchen appliances. Everything you need is there including all the beach equipment. Great location and ocean view!!

We enjoyed our short stay at this Ilikai studio. My husband and I along with our two adult sons were comfortable in the beds and enjoyed the view. The free parking was a definite plus in Honolulu!! Great location - thank you for sharing your condo for others to enjoy!

The condo is an absolute gem, everything from the decor to the beautiful ocean view. And the hosts are so nice and wonderful! They were quick to respond to all of our questions and even made a trip to our unit to reprogram the TV. Thank you so much Janet and James for allowing us to stay in your unit! Mahalo!

My family with two teens loved this place! We didn’t want to leave. It had everything you could want…amazing view, comfy bedding, clean, well equipped with everything you would need (including all the beach gear) and at a great location. Also, the owners were so kind with great communication!! We definitely hope to be back!

We had a lovely trip. The view was beautiful; it over looks the Hilton lagoon and beach. The two Ilikae pools are below. The check in process was no process. You put your code in the door and you’re in! The decor was well thought out and beautiful. If I were to come back, I’d definitely stay here again!

The condo was perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean. Lots of space to unpack. It was supplied with lots of kitchen goods including food wraps and bags. As far as food seasonings go we found salt and pepper as well as a bit of cooking oil. All we had to do was purchase groceries. The owner also sent us a message stating that they had a purchased a parking spot that we could use at no charge. This saved us a bundle!
The condo was close enough to the Ala Moana open air shopping mall that we could walk. The beach was accessible without crossing any roads.
The covered balcony was lovely with a great view. We would most definitely ask to stay here again in the future!

This was my 5th visit to Honolulu, knowing the area when I booked I knew where I wanted to stay. This is a great location yet a little away from the chaos further down Waikiki. We took our two teenage kids, they even said when we return we need to stay in this condo. We had plenty of room for the four of us. Thank you for the beach items for us to use. Janet and James were great hosts and always returned messages promptly. We were with another couple who stayed on the same floor by a different owner, the vibe from their owner wasn’t as welcoming as ours. Thank you so much!!!

From the moment you walk in the front door, you feel at home. From the well stocked kitchen, to the ultra comfortable beds.. this host has thought of it all!! They are super helpful & accommodating. My husband & I with a 3yr old & 13yr old had plenty enough space to be happy. The lanai was my FAVORITE PART. It does not disappoint. Literally the only downside of this location was the pool. NO jumping?! The kids couldn’t let loose & have fun. Even the adults there were bummed. So if you’re looking for a place with water fun, this is not the place.

From the moment I walked in to the property I knew I should have booked another week! It’s perfect for those who want to be able to come and go in a convenient location, beautiful views of the water from the moment you wake up. This was our first stay using VRBO and now I don’t believe I will book a regular hotel room anymore! Perfect stay and great hosts!
