We had an awesome stay in this unit in November 2023. This unit is a great two bedroom condo with two full bathrooms. There is a full kitchen and dining room table. The hotel is steps from Waikiki beach. There are plenty of restaurants and dining downstairs in the lobby. There is a convenience store for anything you may need to buy. You can walk anywhere in Waikiki from this location. The unit has two huge balconies with stunning downtown views. The check in process is super simple with digital door locks. On our last day I asked if I could have a later check out and within 20 minutes the property manager got back to me and let me keep the room until 4pm. My family and I had such a wonderful stay in this unit and could not be happier. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Waikiki as it was so much extra space than a regular hotel room. The building has an awesome pool right by the beach as well. Thank you for a great stay!

Condo was not cleaned, trash left under sink, iron board was old torn, dusting was poor, glass showers had calcium, cleaning supplies were left on balcony. Furniture looked old and damaged. Owner needs to fix. I should have gotten a discount. AD as remodeled was a lie.

Nice location next to Hilton Hawaiian Village, close to beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. PROS: Location, ease of check-in process, cleanliness of hotel, communication with property manager. CONS: Condo could use some updating, as could the hotel itself. No air conditioning in hotel hallways and air conditioning in condo itself was not very strong. Pans provided did not work well on electric stove but made do. Noise from street was constant (windows had no insulation...if you are a light sleeper bring a noise machine!) Overall a nice stay on Oahu.

The check-in process was a little confusing as the information for the unit (number and keypad code) was buried in another email. This made getting into the unit a little haphazard as i was not aware it was there until after we got there and had to locate it.
Otherwise, the unit and location were great and it serves me and my family well.

My family and I had the most amazing stay at the Ilikai; it made us feel close to classic stories of Hawaii that we hold dear in a hotel with the kind of amenities that we can only dream of. And the best part was living in this wonderful place with beautiful sunrises on the lanai, endless breezes and refreshing rain, great valet staff, and a top knotch dining experience at Cinnamon’s! On a slight negative note the floors of the unit were dirty where our bare feet were black within minutes. But we overlooked that and chalked it up to ins and outs from the lanai and beaches. But a good mopping would be helpful to the unit. Everything else about 1025 from location, to fantastic layout to the warm decor made it a memorable experience that we hope to repeat someday soon.

It was really reasonably priced and such an amazing location! An easy stroll (with two kids in tow!) to the lagoon each day and a short walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. I would highly recommend this property - and I will be back next year!

We booked more than a year out for a 3 Generation Girls Trip. Upon arrival our Condo wasn’t ready and was told the Service was cleaning it. 30 minutes later we were told the guest who was
In our Condo wasn’t moving out. I thought our trip was ruined, but it wasn’t.
They suggest we take another Condo on the Ocean Side for the same price. My niece looked at it and said it’s nice.
The view was fabulous and we saw the Fireworks Show from our balcony.
We had plenty of living space and a place to go and activity planned for every day.
We love our room and anyone staying there would love theirs also. We hated to leave. Our one week felt like two.

We liked the location, its nearby restaurants, and shopping in the Hilton shopping plaza—easy access to the beach. The tour buses pick you up next door or nearby. Try eating at the Pesca restaurant on the last floor of the hotel; it's delicious. The beach near by is rocky, great for snorkeling, and Waikiki beach is a few minutes away.

We loved the size of this condo and the multiple lanai's. The windows had great city views.
All beds are super comfortable and water pressure in the showers were really good.
Just be aware that the road noise can be bad for infants or children or light sleepers.
The WiFi is great but the TV in the main bedroom wasn't working. But who wants to watch TV in Hawaii! Not me!
The remote control for the air-conditioning in the main bedroom wasn't working but because it was December, it wasn't needed.
Would I stay here again! Absolutely.

Overall this unit worked out well for our family trip. I'm EXTREMELY picky when it comes to cleanliness so my rating of Good is probably most people's Excellent. I would book again as I prefer to be out of of the tourist strip.

Located in the old huge well known Ilikai complex, lots of people, so sometimes waiting for elevators.
Nice store in basement, very convenient.
There was much noise from the street.
The A/C in the second bedroom is very old and made so much noise that it had to be turned off during the night.
Very helpful was the late check-out we were provided with, we really appreciated that. Our plane was leaving at night and we could stay til afternoon which was a real plus and we are very thankful for.
So you have to realize that it is a stay in a big city, no beach view or island feeling, but nice and according to the advertisement.

The condo was spacious, clean, and the contactless check in was a plus! Having a kitchen was nice for our leftovers & drinks. The downside we felt that for paying such a steep price to this rental - the items that were provided such as the soap for the kitchen was extremely watered down, & we were only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom. It would be nice to have extra toiletries included with our stay.
In regard to location if this is your first time in downtown/Ala Moana/Waikiki area keep in mind you will be walking a lot if you don't have a rental and if you want to be close to the action (just as an FYI) if you prefer shopping this location is perfect for you! The Royal Hawaiian Market place is roughly 0.8-1mile away or a 20 min walk. You will be located near the Ala Moana shopping center. It does get pretty noisey, but we've also stayed towards Waikiki and the noise level is a little better here but not by much. There is an ABC store located right by the condo so that was great for any convenient purchases we needed to make (snacks, drinks, etc). Overall the stay satisfied our needs. Laundry can be done and is shared on the floor but a huge rip off because your balance charged to your card cannot be carried over at the time of use (i.e a separate charge to wash and dry your clothes).
Also as an fyi - elevators can get busy at peak times.

We stayed August 24-30, 2022 and had an amazing stay! The condo itself is very spacious, clean & had everything we needed to cook & prepare meals and snacks. Bonus corner location for two balconies! The property offers two pools, quick access to the beach and lagoon, a wonderful patio area where we BYO meals to dine outside. Everyone on site was helpful and wonderful. We kept our rental car on site and found that the valet was quick, easy and very responsive. Absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to the Waikiki area.

Aloha!! We came to Hawaii for a family reunion and wedding. The Ilikai is in a great location!! Easy walk to the beach, shopping, parking garage, and restaurants. Even though we were not in our room very much, our room at The Ilikai has everything a family could need. We would stay here again!!

Pros:
easy check in and out, nice views of the city, air conditioning worked great, had a few beach chairs (but wow, heaviest chairs ever!!!) nice having the little store in the lobby and kids loved the ice store. Across the street was an ok bar restaurant and an ABC store. Other reviews said elevator was slow and had to wait a long time to catch one but we never experienced that. Beds were comfortable but small.
Cons:
Lack of bath towels, toilet paper and paper towels, no beach towels, the couch much smaller then pictures looked, there are no dressers to put your clothes in, closets small, not a lot of extras in the kitchen (spices etc) , long walk to the beach (not fun with those heavy heavy chairs), beach area by condo super busy and coral everywhere (Making it difficult to walk on the beach)

I have two teens and this was a great property for our family. Great location and spacious. My one complaint would be they did not leave enough toilet paper for a family of four. We ran out by day 5. Other than that it was great.

The property is located just east of Waikiki -- about 15 min walk to the main touristy area. The condo looked exactly as pictured and felt very modern and clean. There were enough toilet paper and dishwashing pods for the duration of our 6 day stay. Only thing I wish that was provided was beach towels , but that was mentioned in the description, so no surprises there. We did find in the unit three beach chairs, some float noodles, and an umbrella. No regrets booking this property.

Very satisfied with our stay here. We are used to a few more amenities in the kitchen, but we managed fine. Having to valet everyday was not the easiest, but they did a great job making it as quick as possible. The pool is not great, but we spent most of the time at the beach. We drove to the other side of Waikiki for the beaches. Right next to the condo they are not that great.

Overall, this is a nice place to stay, however there should be further details provided in the description in what is provided/available beforehand. It would also have been good to know in the description that there were not going to be any condiments provided or paper towel outside the small roll provided for 10 days. The dishes and pots were dirty and we had to re-wash the dishes in order to use them. The master bedroom and bathroom had long strands of hair all over including some of the blankets. That was off putting and made us assume cleaning was not done properly. We would have to pay extra for housekeeping which is an annoyance when left with that type of situation.
The place was really nice but that experience ruined some of the atmosphere with my guests. We hope you all take this into consideration in adding more protocols in place when renting the space out.

We had a great time with our short stay in Hawaii. This place was perfect for our family. Check in process was easy. However parking situations hotel accessibility still missing some points. Such elevator convinience. You need to use stairs or escalator in able for someone to get to the lobby section. If you have heavy luggages to haul and you have disability issues it’s not advisable.
The apartment was very nice and roomy that made our stay feel like home. Beautiful view but not a fun of noises outside getting in to the building. It’s minor if you don’t mind the noises.
However another thing that we would’ve wished h to Wu had was sink disposal. Everything must be placed in garbage bag to avoid getting the sink clogged, literally not convenience and they should listed this on their rental that there is no garbage m/sink disposal. Also, I advised that they should provide more than one roll of paper towel next time. They only provided one roll and it’s not a full one.
Parking wished it was provided. We have to pay parking everyday for $28.
Furnishing was ok. Could use some updates.
We had few trouble with internet losing signal on us, but we managed to fix it.
Over all, the place is convenient to get around Waikiki and Ala Moana Park and beaches. Wish we had more time. We won’t mind staying here again. Hope there will be installed sink disposal by then!

The condo was very nice, very clean and very comfortable. The only downside is that Cinnamon's, the restaurant on the property, is closed two days a week so we had to go somewhere else for breakfast.
Had to ask management for another roll of paper towels and she acted as though I was asking for something very expensive!

Although this is not actually on Waikiki it is the next best option. You leave out of the building toward the ocean and down a sloped walkway and you are at the Hilton Lagoon and Public Parking area for Waikiki. Walking to the beach is simply that easy.
Make sure you budget for the Parking at this location, at $23.00 self-park or $28.00 valet, this will put a dent in your vacation dollars.
All of this said the building is dated but the unit has been updated and is very nice. if you are working to take a trip on a budget I recommend this as an excellent option.

Overall this property was fantastic for our family of six. It’s in a great location, the kitchen was fantastic for helping us eat a few meals in instead of eating out all the time, and the bathrooms were updated and gorgeous! We only had a couple of problems. The photo descriptions said there was a queen size sleeper and a twin sized chair bed in the living room and that was not accurate. There was only a queen-size sofa sleeper. We chose this property because itkkked like there would be enough beds for our kids to have their own and there wasn’t. We made it work, but it might have led us to choose a different property had we known. Also, the air conditioner in the master bedroom and the living area worked really well. However, the air conditioner in the second bedroom barely worked. If you kept the curtains drawn shut at all times and kept the doors wide open, it would stay around 76° in there. If you shut the door though. It would get between 82° and 85°. If you needed privacy in that bedroom, this would not be a great choice. For a family of six though with younger kids, we made it work! It was a great home base for us as we went out exploring!

When looking at the available properties on VRBO, there were so many options for city and country venues, but this property was perfect for me and my two adult daughters. As this is a corner condo on the 10th floor, we had exquisite panoramic views from the balconies in every room, so that morning or night we had cityscape and marina views that were great subjects for photography. Aside from some minor details in fine cleaning (a dark spill on the guest dust ruffle and some spots that were embedded on the lounge end of the sectional) the place was very cleaned and stocked as advertised. This resort has all you need in a great location with indoor shops and eateries and other restaurants in the vicinity. Tour, shuttle and city buses run often and car rentals are nearby and at the hotel to get around the island. I highly recommend it for your consideration and would choose it again for my return visit.

Our family of five loved staying in this beautiful spacious condo. The location was perfect for exploring Waikiki and the other parts of the island. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, the mall, and even church. Of course, the pools and beach were super convenient and nice. We would love to return for another stay!
