The location and view could not be beat. Everything we needed was provided or a quick walk or bus ride away. The apartment was a studio as listed and 5 of ua fit comforably especially with the large balcony. Waking up and watching the surfers and boats and waves while eating breakfast was amazing. I didnt want to leave when our stay was up.

The location is great walking distance to everything. The description of the unit was accurate. My only concern was the bathroom, the shower over tub should be shown as not easily accessible. Although there a grab bars it was difficult to get in and out with knee issues.

We enjoyed our condo on the 12th floor. While the décor was dated, the unit was clean and had exactly what we needed for our family of four. We had an incredible view of the marina and ocean, with frequent rainbow appearances and spectacular sunsets. The lanai was large enough for us to enjoy all of our meals. The kitchen was well-equipped, but does lack condiments of any kind. It had a new refrigerator, the oven was older, but worked well, and the coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and toaster were very helpful. Lovely hotel/condo entrance, yummy ice cream shop and café on ground floor, beautiful garden in courtyard, and pools looked inviting, although we spent our time at the beach, which was just a few minutes walk from the Ilikai. Soundproofing helped reduce any noise from nearby units. As mentioned in other reviews, sides of tub are very high. Not a problem for us, but might be difficult for some. There are grab bars if needed. It would have been nice to have had an umbrella and beach chairs included with the unit, because rentals at the beach were very pricey. Don't miss the fireworks over the lagoon on Friday nights. Overall, a lovely vacation. We hope to return again soon!

We always love staying at the Ilikai because it's located on the part of Waikiki Beach that we like the best! Parking was usually pretty easy - just some jockeying between the free lot in the morning and back to the paid lot in the evening. The only thing I would recommend for this particular condo is a baking sheet for reheating leftovers. The closet door is pretty wonky too but we managed it. Overall, we had a really wonderful stay!

The place was moderately clean. It had a nice view of the yacht harbor. Outfitted only with basics. No salt and pepper or any condiments at all. Mismatched dishes. Moderately clean. Comfortable beds and the air worked well. Needs to be updated. All in all we did enjoy our stay.

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our first real vacation here. Non stop action with the two pools, lagoon and beach. Hint: there is an elevator for bathers, just past main elevators, so that was easier for moving upstairs after pool time. Thought we would use the kitchen for making easy kid friendly meals, but ended up so busy that we mostly had snacks snacks and snacks - so thankful for the fridge & micro! Did not need a car at all. Was great to have a lanai for evening and sunset time, so we could feel like we weren’t just stuck in a hotel room when kiddos had to fall asleep. The room had everything we needed and communication was prompt and easy!

Great view although it faces the hot sun in the afternoon, but jut wait, gorgeous sunset.
Had everything we needed, stove top was old school coils, but worked fine. Unit shows age, but we’ll maintained.
Caution, super high tub sides.
Extremely satisfied and would stay there again.

Great location and beautiful view! The plumbing was a little rocky but it seems to be that way all over the island. We never had to address it but I wasn’t very confident. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay in unit 1206. Easy walking distance to beaches and shops. Really enjoyed sitting on the lanai watching all the action in the harbour below, including awesome sunsets. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen and cookware met our needs.
Host responded promptly to our questions.
We would definitely look to book again.

This was one of my favorite stays in Hawaii so far.
The Hotel/Condo association - best service ever. Loved having 24 hour valet parking. The tenants were very efficient and friendly. It wasn’t expensive either and it was so nice to not have to think about parking. The location to the beach was super close. Just a quick walk and you’re at the lagoon by the Hilton and the just seconds from the beach. The view from the lanai was gorgeous and we enjoyed the sunsets and the marina. The on site entertainment was a blast! Hula and live music. The pool had a max capacity though which made it difficult for pool time without a wait, but we spent most of the time at the beach.
The condo - was fairly spacious for a family of 3. The tub was nice to have for a kid, but if you have a bad hip or low back problems, the tub was a chore to get in to with how deep it was. The closet doors stuck a bit, but we were able to open them with a little force to store our clothes for the week. The condo was clean and had all the amenities that we needed for our vacation. We will definitely be booking again when we visit to Oahu.

This unit needs an update. I was very disappointed with my stay due to several reasons. The kitchen oven is from the 1980's and does not work very well and the temperature gauge numbers are almost gone. There was a foul smell coming from under or behind the fridge. The couch had a smell too I had to use a sheet to be able to sit and feel comfortable. You can't use the closet because it too close to the bed and you will have a hard time getting into it and because of this I feel the cleaning is not done well because I got 10-15 spider bites in four nights. The odd thing is the closet next to the kitchen is being used as a cleaning supply closet. Over all was not happy with my stay :(

Great condo, beautiful view. Comfortable beds and everything we needed. But Honolulu has gotten exponentially worse from our last visit. Homeless people everywhere and they harass visitors. Tent cities in the park right next door. Got to see lots of public urination, smelled pot numerous times and got to see strung out druggies wandering the streets. Tons of trash everywhere. With such high income tax and tourist taxes, SHAME ON HAWAII for not doing something to help these people and clean up the city.

I already love staying at the Ilikai because of where it’s located and the lagoon right out back. This unit has every kitchen item you can think of, a tub in the bathroom which was perfect for my 4 year old. The bathroom is big, plenty of towels. There’s a beach chair on the balcony and I left 2 small beach chairs too! The beds are comfortable and the pull out bed is also comfortable. The wifi worked fine, we watched tv. Downstairs is a market where I bought snacks for me and the kids. One of my favorite restaurants are downstairs, Cinnamons! The view is soooo beautiful when the sun sets! I enjoyed my stay here. The entire process from booking, checking in and checking out was very smooth. The condominium was very clean, the beds were so comfortable. The view was amazing, we ate breakfast and dinner by the balcony to watch the sun rise and sunset.

Had a few things that needed fixed but they did fix quickly. The pull out futon bed needs to be replaced ASAP as springs poke you. I asked about trash bags and toilet paper was told they would supply but never did see the people bring any. Over all very nice place to rent

Great location if Waikiki is your destination, everything is within walking distance, a very cozy place to stay and a great view of the ocean sunset, well equipped place specially the kitchen. Would be my first choice to for a place to stay again!

Property is located in the ilikai which is very convenient for getting in and out of Waikiki. Full kitchen helps save on eating out every meal and bathroom is a nice size with a deep tub (great for kids) and shower (excellent water pressure). The balcony is spacious with an excellent view of the marina and coast, plus some city lights. The furnishings and appliances are a bit dated and there are some areas that could use a deeper cleaning. Some of the dishes had some residue and there appeared to be left over pieces of party decorations still partially taped to the wall; but for the price and everything else that was great, I would still recommend and stay again. Maybe they just need a new cleaner for those finer details. Overall- happy with our stay and great for the whole family. Owner was very responsive to little needs that came up here and there.
