Our 7 person multi generational family (14-80yrs) had an amazing time in Waikiki. The view from the lanai is stunning with the marina and ocean. We enjoyed many rainbows and spent lots of time on the lanai. The rental is clean and comfortable with space for everyone. It’s easy to walk to shops, bars, restaurants. Hilton Village is just to the south with lots of shopping and casual dining. We bought supplies (beach towels/sunscreen)at ABC, and ordered groceries from Safeway. Valet parking was quick and easy. We brought our own games. The kitchen is handy for making coffee, breakfast etc. There weren’t any measuring cups so we did a best guess for pancakes. The workout room/gym is for Ilikai Hotel guests only. Walk around the Hilton lagoon to watch sunrise over diamond head. Snorkeling from shore at Queen’s beach was great (long walk just south of Waikiki pier). Cinnamon and Pesca are both great restaurants at the Ilikai and Tropics Bar and Grill at the Hilton is a tasty casual option on the beach. We also enjoyed drinks at Barefoot Bar. Absolutely would recommend this condo to friends and family and hope to stay again!

Just what we were looking for, for a family staycation. Close to everything we wanted—beach, surf rental, and of course the friday night fireworks from the courtyard were amazing!
We also had the treat of seeing a monk seal and a baby monk seal resting on the beach.

We had a great time. The view was amazing! We loved being close to conveniences. When I thought I’d left something in the condo, the management company was great to respond and was very helpful. The condo and all linen was clean, my only feedback is there are stains in the carpet and several scuff marks on the walls. But I did notify the management and I’m sure they’ll make adjustments.

Great views, plenty of space and enjoyed the physical location. The unit itself is pretty dated and needs a refresh. Lots of stains on the living room carpet and some of the outdoor seating needs repair. Could really ever open one of the two sliders going out of the living room to the balcony as the other had problems sliding. Bathrooms and kitchen were good/very clean. For those that plan on leveraging the kitchen, you'll need to bring/buy any required oils/seasonings as outside of cookware/plates (which there is a good stock of), nothing gets left behind. Note that this unit is not considered part of the hotel, although you have pool passes, you don't have access to the fitness center. Management company was very responsive to any and all requests. Parking is never fun on this island, but we were able to self park valet in the front of the building as we had rented a large 12 passenger van (for $50/night). All in all a good trip, but if you're expecting an impressive penthouse experience, until the next interior refresh, this unit is average at best.

It was a great stay overall. If I had to say, AC didn’t really work in some bed room. However property manager responded pretty quick, also they met our demand (early check in). I appreciate a lot since we were pretty tired of long flights and with kids and elderly.

The view is AMAZING!! We spent more of our time on the lanai. We loved this unit! It was perfect for the 8 of us. There is tons of space to not feel on top of each other but still enjoy each other's company. Great location. Walked to almost everything. Highly recommend! Only negative is very outdated.

This place is a gem and the views it offers are *chefs kiss*. We even caught a 🌈 on our last morning!
It was the perfect space for me and my boyfriend, my parents, and my sister & her family (including 2 small kids) -- in total we fit 6 adults and 2 kids comfortably.
Other pros: good restaurants/Cafe in the building, easy parking (valet only), great location / close to everywhere we needed to go, great communication with the host (they were super accommodating & quick to respond), they had plenty of towels & soaps for the week, and everything we needed in the kitchen. Also, no crazy cleaning instructions like the ones you get on other rental sites!!! LOVE!
Cons: since we were on the top floor, getting down to the lobby took a while since we'd have to stop on multiple floors in between (the price you pay for the penthouse though!), and the AC in the house was great but it didn't seem to be working in the main bedroom. We made do with the portable fan that was in the room though.
I'll leave on this happy note since our overall experience was great. I opted for the penthouse as this trip was a gift for my dad's 70th birthday. Upon entering and walking through the place, my dad exclaimed "Wow. The penthouse! You did good." And the best part was definitely the balcony/lanai. I would find my dad sitting outside every night before bed and every morning just soaking it all in. Thanks for making my dad's 70th a memorable one 💕

Laundry can get a little tricky as the laundry is only available on the floors below the penthouse floor. The only suggestion for improvement would be to have a king bed in the master suite versus the queen. We would definitely stay here again!!

My family and I had mostly a wonderful time staying in Ilikai 2602. Due to it being a penthouse unit, we had a bit more seclusion from the rest of the 26th floor (with a couple of toddlers, we felt less guilty about how toddlers can be noisier). The living room felt more spacious than the pictures show, and the place felt clean enough. What we caution others is be careful with the pool staff (both pools), who were rude and accusatory at best, or downright racist at worst. While the pool staff gave us an incredibly difficult time to allow us to borrow towels from the 2nd floor pool to the ground level pool (it was a cold day and we wanted to keep our toddlers warm moving from one pool to the next), and the ground floor pool staff berated and scolded us for even making such a request after the 2nd floor staff finally relented... Minutes later, the ground floor staff treated a white couple and their toddler completely different: instead of berating them for borrowing a towel to keep their toddler warm, the pool staff very respectfully and kindly offered them "a new warm towel to keep the child warm" as they were heading back to their room. This behavior is unacceptable, and the hotel hasn't taken any steps to address this despite my raising this to hotel management.

On our way out of the state, we needed a way to say Mahalo to the islands. This unit provided that exact experience. The view of the harbor was spectacular and everyone could find a spot to take time for themselves. The location is great for easy access to restaurants, the harbor, lagoon and Friday night fireworks.

As many of the previous comments mention- the carpet is in need of replacement, but overall everything else was as advertised. Illaki Hotel lobby shops were convenient as well. We had a great time on Oahu in this condo!

Everything was as described. It was a spacious, luxurious penthouse. My only recommendation would be to replace the worn carpet and defective rug with high quality flooring, like neutral contemporary carpet tiles with a subtle pattern/color. And definitely fix the air conditioning in the Master Bedroom. I would give everything else a 5-star rating.

Places at this rate and size are hard to find in Honolulu now. The location near Ala Moana and Waikiki is excellent. 5 stars for all that. We stayed with our 1 year old boy.
As somebody who struggles with sleep, I had a rough stay because the two front rooms facing the lanai were quite bright due to light curtains and also hot because facing the evening sun and the central AC did not push to these rooms as well as the living room and kids room. Even by morning these rooms were still well 5 degrees warmer.
The kids room was very dark and cold, as well as very well sound isolated from everywhere else which was excellent when putting him down for naps as he often cried at first due to being a new place.
Obviously decor is not as big of a deal, but the bright white/crystal and no art is not welcoming. With a few simple touches such as darkening the curtains to cut light/heat and putting up some pictures of Hawaii I think this could be a much nicer stay.

The unit was great for our two families and is just as pictured. Its on the penthouse top level with amazing views and patio. The hotel (Ilikai) is on the dated side, but still charming and in a great situation. Check-in/out was easy and the rental company was responsive to all our questions! Thanks for a great stay.

I’m a local and I was super happy with this rental! This was my first rental and I was impressed! Super spacious and fully stocked. The rental had everything you’ll ever need and more to make you feel like at home. Location is perfect, steps away from the beach and a short distance to the worlds biggest outdoor mall, Ala Moana. Lots of parking in the back of the hotel, near the lagoon and harbor for $1/ hour. Definitely will book this rental again!

A group of friends and I stayed here after a wedding ceremony in Waikiki, and it did not disappoint! The bathrooms were all super clean in arrival, and the patio view of Ala Moana Beach and some of the other beaches was incredible. The sleeping situation is great for a group of 7-8 people with just 1-2 couples, as there is ample individual sleeping space. Even though car parking isn't included, there's a little parking area underneath the back pool deck of the Ilikai Hotel to park your car for $1/hr (Spring 2022).

The location and view can't be beat. We had 3 families with 7 adults and one kid and one toddler and all stayed comfortably. It had all the basic things needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We strongly recommend the place and will definitely go back if we have another chance to visit Hwaii.

If you have a larger party (5-8 people), then this is the perfect place to stay in Honolulu. PH is located in the heart of downtown, with easy walking distance to parks, beaches, and shopping.

Loved the condo at the Ilikai. Great location and walking distance to everything in Waikiki and Ala Moana. We had a group of 4 and the condo was very spacious and clean. Previous reviews mentioned the carpet and they have fixed this since. Loved the place and will definitely stay again!
