This was a great condo with an awesome view of sugar beach. The condo was clean and has everything you'll need for your stay. It was close to everything and with the second floor parking you don't have to bother with the elevator or stairs.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay in Maui!
Kihei was a more laid back location with mainly 5 story condos and homes.
Met lots of locals when out for dinner/drinks!
The condo was very nice just wish the lanai had some outdoor chairs that you could lay on and take a nap while listening to the sound of the amazing waves :)

All the comforts of home plus a beautiful view! Saw humpback whales every day from the lanai. Enjoyed the convenience of having beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and being right on the beach!!! Owner was very gracious and communicative! We can't wait to return!

This was my first trip to the Island and could not have asked for a better spot! WE just got married and this was the perfect place to celebrate our honeymoon. Whales can be seen from the second story balcony, the sound of waves can be heard from the couch, walks on the beach are literally steps away, and the sunsets are absolutely breath-taking.
The condo itself is fully stocked with everything you need. Even the small things like binoculars, which they provide, make it an even better experience.
Kim was very responsive and made herself available if we had any questions or needed recommendations for spots on the island.
We will definitely stay here again!

Kim's Sugar Beach condo is a great place to stay when visiting Maui. Beachfront with a 2nd floor view of the ocean. Convenient 2nd floor parking just a few steps to the front door. The beach out front is almost 3 miles long, offering an easy 6 mile walk each day to see the turtles and watch the waves roll in. Easy to take advantage of the canoe clubs that are just down the beach. Just a short drive to kihei or kahului for restaurants, groceries or other activities. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful stay at this newly updated property. Truly a million dollar view from your lanai. Steps from the ocean and beach. This unit was immaculate and clean and had everything you needed and didn't think of. Communication with owners was excellent. Looking forward to a return visit and would not hesitate staying here again.

We spent a week at Kim and Todd’s condo, and it did not disappoint. The view and oceanfront location were perfect. We enjoyed breakfast and sunsets on the balcony, long walks on the beach, swimming outside our door, and paddling with the canoe club just a short walk down the beach. The unit is clean, well positioned in the complex for privacy, well decorated, and has all the amenities you could ask for. All of the little “extra” offerings like shampoo, kitchen goods and beach equipment were certainly appreciated and make it easy to just check in and get your vacation started. All of the photos on the site are accurate, so if you like what you see do not hesitate to book!

Overall this is an amazing beachfront unit with turtles and whales swimming right off the shore, I highly recommend! Great location right in the middle of everything you want to do on the island and the host is extremely responsive and communicates better than any owner I’ve talked to. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The only small hiccups were the shower/bathroom cleanliness and the only couch to sit on was on it’s last leg, not a huge deal because we were gone 90% of the time. Still highly recommend as it’s better than most places we have stayed!

We really enjoyed staying at this unit. We definitely choose this unit again.
Unfortunately, there are two issues not related to this unit. One is a neighbor who is smoking cigarette at lanai. Both of us won’t smoke so we were uncomfortable a few times at lanai. The other is huge noise from renovation work somewhere upstairs or next doors. They do only daytime but the noise was extremely high and we couldn’t take a napping. Both are NOT related to this unit and I hope both will be gone at our next stay.

The check in process was super easy. I appreciated the amenities of the condo. It was fully stocked with dishes, towels, and everything you need to make the stay comfortable and homey. The condo was right on the beach with an easy walkway. The grounds were quiet too.

My cousin got married at Sugar Beach Events so we booked this resort due to the proximity to the venue. This unit and resort did not disappoint. The unit was just as pictured, the views were absolutely incredible, and the communication from booking to though our stay was always excellent. The resort’s on site sandwich shop, pool and hot tub add to the resort feel and a short walk down the beach is a store and amazing coffee shop. It’s also only a short drive to an array of excellent restaurants and shopping. Thank you for making our Maui trip amazing, I sure miss waking up to the palm trees and ocean view. This rental will not disappoint! Mahalo!

My wife and I stayed for two weeks at Condo 233. The condo is very well equipped from the kitchen to beach equipment. Well appointed and immaculately clean. Wonderful ocean front view. Parking on the upper ramp allows for easy access to Condo. No noise from the parking area. The Bosch washer/dryer is a great plus for extended stays. Great communication with owners. We forgot a pair of air pods when we left and the cleaning staff contacted the owner immediately. The air pods being mailed to us. A very positive experience. Would highly recommend the condo.

We stayed at this condo from April 30th to May 7th for our 10th anniversary. Upon arrival, I open the door to the condo and was awestruck by the ocean view. We could also hear the sound of the waves crashing throughout the entire condo.
The condo and grounds were extremely clean and beautiful. Everything in the condo was clearly marked so we would know how to use it. You could tell that the owners went to great lengths to think of everything that may be needed because we wanted for nothing. This really helped give us a stress-free vacation. Next time we are in Maui we will be staying here!

You simply cannot beat the view! This unit is nicely upgraded and includes many small thoughtful amenities. What we enjoyed most was whale watching from the lanai---spouts, backs, tails and breaches. And, of course, walking Sugar Beach. Comfortable bed. Would highly recommend!

We came to escape the Pacific NW grey and this proved perfect.
A second floor property you essentially look right at the beach with continuous wave sound . Near the end of the building there’s privacy from the broader complex and so a quick access to the ocean with a heated rinse beside the building. The kitchen was fully equipped for us and the bed a firm comfortable. Beach towels and ocean gear too. The lanai is very private feeling and we heard nothing of the neighbors. A wonderful relief.

We enjoyed our stay at SB233 so much! The view was so beautiful that we never needed to go anywhere else. The location is also very convenient. A quick walk down the beach and you have ABC store and fresh fruit market. The parking is on the same level as the condo and close to the front door, and yet we never heard any noise. Walk one flight down and you're on the beach. Every detail of the condo was well thought out. It is furnished like a home not a rental with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The furnishings, color and artwork are perfect for a beach home and it was well cared for. Kim was especially responsive to texts. Some hammering started our first morning and when I asked her about it, she called immediately and it stopped and never started again. I highly recommend this for your next stay in Kihei. Mahalo Kim!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Kim and Todd’s place (beach trip- solo)!
Everything was as described in the pictures plus more! So many utensils, cookware, anything kitchen you might need they had it! Also great instructions on how to operate things if needed.
The view is just amazing- super easy access to vehicle from/to condo (no stairs to climb except 2 tiny ones into room), also a great/safe location!
Super clean & I appreciate how well they take care of everything!
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my most finicky of friends!

WARNING: The first time you enter this condo, be prepared for your jaw to hit the floor when you see the view of the ocean. It is truly spectacular, and it’s right off your lanai!! This is one of those rare instances when the online photos don’t do the place justice. It’s even better than the pictures. It’s been tastefully remodeled by the owners with all new furniture, appliances, granite countertops…the works! They’ve thought of everything. Pack your swimsuit and flip-flops…everything else is here. We’ve been to Maui several times but nothing comes close in terms of quality, cleanliness, location and proximity to the waves. The only thing I didn’t like was…never mind, there’s nothing I didn’t like.

The complex is very clean, well maintained, oceanfront and beautiful! Unit 233 is very nice and newly remodeled. We were close by nice restaurant but still not in the middle of the busy areas.
We will be coming back and will request to stay in unit 233 and we'll definitely refer family and friends to Sugar Beach Resort! Thanks for a great place to stay!

First let me state I have rented many condo's over the last 10 years on Maui, often in the high end Wailea area and Kim's condo surpassed them all. The view is by far the best I have seen from a condo. Also I have dealt with many rental owner's and Kim is the best experience yet. She is soon willing to help with anything. I had arrived on Maui one day early and she arranged to get me into condo early. NO ANTS NO BUGS which not always the case. Again I have stayed at many condo's on Maui and Kim's is the best and Kim ROCKS

We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it definitely did not disappoint! Kim was extremely easy to work with, and always responded to any questions I had in a timely manner. The condo itself was our home away from home, and had everything needed, including a stocked kitchen with the essentials and even soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom! The view from our lanai was beautiful, and the area was quiet and relaxing. We have already decided we will be back for a future anniversary, and we're hoping the condo will be available to book again!

The view off the Lanai is breathtaking we spent every morning and evening enjoying the ocean.It was so nice to prepare our meals in your beautiful kitchen.Sugarbeach is close to everything we wanted to do and it’s a bonus to return to a quieter place on the beach to wind down at the end of a busy day . Enjoyed the Sam Witch shop and bar on the property wonderful service and food.
