My husband and I spent a week here for our honeymoon, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The property was quite clean, although I did notice that the photos made it look a bit nicer than it actually was. That said, this seems to be a common trend with other Vrbo rentals as well. Overall, we had a lovely time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Sugar Beach. The condo had everything we needed and was well stocked with the essentials and other things like spices and pantry items. The bed was very comfortable! ThIs is one of the nicest beaches I have visited and the views from the condo were amazing. Ali'i Resorts met us at the unit and were very helpful with our questions. We are so happy we chose Maui for our anniversary trip and were thankful we were able to come and contribute to the economy. Many prayers for the residents of the island and best of luck in your recovery.

Our condo at Sugar Beach Resort was perfect! The location was convenient for various tours around the island. The condo was just as described online. It had everything you could think to need, it was very clean and updated, the bed was super comfortable, the view from the lanai was amazing! We loved our stay!

It more than exceeded our expectations. It's a great central location, and it's easy to head out in any direction for fun and activities or to find a great beach. There's a reef right in front of the condo for some decent snorkeling. Sitting on the lanai watching the sunsets is amazing.

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach and this unit had everything we needed. We sat on the lanai every morning and evening and loved the proximity to the beach and everything we wanted to do. I also loved that the area wasn't too crowded. We got engaged on the beach right outside while taking in the incredible sunset views and this will always be a memorable place for us!

We had a great stay at this Sugar Beach ocean front condo. The views were so beautiful and the beach, just down the steps from the condo, was never busy. Condo was comfy and just what we were hoping for! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Such a great place for us, decorated island style with all the modern conveniences. Everything was clean and lovely. The pool was small, but we don’t use it. Long walks on the beach recommended.

We found this oceanfront property to be everything it was advertised to be and more. The designated office workspace is very convenient and having a TV in the living room and bedroom was wonderful for downtime relaxing. The kitchen is supplied with a nice variety of small appliances and cookware. All furniture is very comfortable and of good quality. The photos are a very good representation of what we actually found on arrival. Thanks very much to the owners for sharing their condo. We will definitely return and recommend this property without hesitation.

Enjoyed our stay. Condo had everything we needed. Stayed over Christmas and cooked a turkey dinner. Kitchen was really well equipped with all the utensils and dishes needed. View is outstanding from the lanai, enjoyed many evenings looking out over the ocean.

From the moment we arrived, we were happy with our choice. The personal greeting from Ali'i Staff to show us the ins and outs of the unit and suggest local things to see and do was a great start to our trip. The unit looked exactly as pictured and was even better equipped than we had anticipated. The oceanfront location is unbeatable and it's well positioned for day trips to anywhere on the island. We will be recommending both this unit and Ali'i Resorts Management Company to all our friends and family.

Sugar Beach 329 was everything we love about staying oceanfront... and more! A great beach to take walks and a easy place to swim. But it was this unit, 329, that really made our stay perfect. So nice to have a condo that is equipped with everything we needed. The stacked laundry unit was so helpful. The shower was large, had a great adjustable & detachable sprayer and easy in/out with great water pressure (important when trying to wash thick hair!). The king size TemperPedic bed was exactly like ours at home and we slept great- something we don't often do when traveling and sleeping on soft or saggy mattresses. The furniture was solid & comfortable- not that stiff, cheap rattan stuff like some places. have. The kitchen was so well-equipped that there wasn't anything we couldn't have cooked. Great big screen and we loved being able to watch our Netflix and Amazon Prime movies in the evening. Ate our meals and had our coffee on the carpeted lanai which felt like an extension of the living room rather than a cement porch. We appreciated the high top table and swivel chairs for a great ocean view above the railings! The supplied beach chairs were an added bonus. The laser printer was a nice touch and we actually needed it a couple times so we were thankful for the convenience. So nice to have a code for entry rather than needing to keep track of keys or cards. The rental office was very efficient and friendly, making check in and out a breeze- another perk that isn't always true. We almost felt like this was our home within the first 12 hours, making it so easy to relax and enjoy. This location was central to the island, making our excursions to Hana, Wailea, Lahaina, etc.. much more convenient. Being just steps away from our car in the parking structure was another added perk that people in many other units didn't have. Watching the Canoe Club training down on the beach and out in the water was always enjoyable. When we return to Maui, we will definitely look to stay here again! Mahalo!

Stayed 2 weeks in November. The weather was beautiful. The property is just like the pictures show. Beautiful view from the lanai. The beach is very nice, you can walk for miles. The property and the condo was clean and well maintained. The condo had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. The condo manager was very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at Sugar Beach a few times and this was the nicest condo we have stayed in.

My husband and I just got back from our first trip to Maui (and Hawaii) and we are so happy to have chosen this condo. Having never used VRBO before, we were a bit nervous and are very pleased with the experience. Sugar Beach #329 was everything we could have asked for. It was clean, quiet, had wonderful furnishings (loved having the washer and dryer), the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the location was close to everything. And did I mention the bed...ahhh-mazing! We loved being very close to the 2nd level parking and the stairs as well as just a few steps from the awesome private & never crowded beach! The condo came equipped with beach chairs, towels and a small cooler (would have been nice to have one slightly bigger) and we rented boogie boards from the rental place on-site (they also rent snorkeling equipment, beach umbrellas, chairs etc.) for cheap! I loved that the condo also came equipped with a smart TV, allowing us to sign into our Netflix for movies at night. We enjoyed a few drinks and appetizers at Dina's Sand Witch (yes that's how its spelled) Shop which is a pretty neat little place. The gift shop on site was nice also and had some pretty decent prices for souvenirs. We took a drive around the West Maui Mountains/Highway 340 (do not do this if you are not a very seasoned driver as the road is mainly one very small lane with no guardrails) and the views were amazing. We made the drive to Hana and even caught the sunset from the Haleakala summit (a MUST do!). Our trip was amazing and the condo served as the best home away from home possible. The pool and hot tub are open until 9:30pm and was a nice treat after the sun set. All in all, this condo served our needs perfectly and the price is right, we will definitely be back!
