This condo worked perfectly for our group of 4. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Lots of cabinets held any item we needed for our trip which was very appreciated. The condo is way bigger than the pictures show and the view cannot be beat! The pool and hot tub were never crazy busy and were always clean. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone and hopefully I can visit soon and rent this unit again.

We have stayed at your property twice and we love the location of the ground floor location. About 10 feet to pool 20 to beach of you turn right out of your condo and left if you want good food at dina sandwitch or a good drink they have a nice bar. Best food you can eat in or to go. Met so many amazing people. Also whether you have small children, middle aged or adults this facility is so welcoming. The pool has a very nice pool a child's pool up above the regular pool and a jacuzzi not to mention a sauna. You cant go wrong with Sugar Beach Resort only about 16 minutes from landing at OGG.A special Thank you to our hosts that always make is feel welcomed with a special card welcoming you.

Perfect condo for a couples getaway. Condo was clean, stocked and location is excellent. No need to rent beach gear when you stay here. Condo comes w beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach towels, and 2 snorkel sets. Strongly recommend this unit for any couple looking for a quiet, relaxing stay or anyone exploring west and south Maui (centrally located). Plenty of free parking, pool area and grounds are clean. Elevators and shopping carts make grocery runs and hauling luggage/beach equipment a breeze. Host communication was fantastic. We’ll be back!

The balcony is enormous with an amazing view of the ocean! My family of 4 adults had plenty of room to relax. All of the provided beach equipment (chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear) and being so close to the ocean made our many trips to the beach delightful. The furniture was comfortable for sitting and sleeping. The AC and fans kept things cool and comfortable at night and during the day we enjoyed keeping all the windows and sliding doors open. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This location cannot be beat. You've got a fantastic view, right on the beach, and a central location that makes it easy to get most places on the island. The bathroom is a little small, but overall it makes a fine place for a couple to explore Maui.

We had a ten day stay in May 26 and loved it. The host David was sooooo nice and great to communicate with. His VRBO unit had all that we needed and was very clean. The king sized bed was EXCELLENT, very comfortable and lovely bedding. And the view………….? Location, location, location. Straight out to the ocean. Nothing better.We were sad to leave. DIRTY, DATED, and DEPLETEDCONS:Don’t be mislead by the property description. For the price, look elsewhere. Dirty: We’ve stayed numerous times at Sugar Beach(which is great). The minute we walked into the room, it felt like an unkempt storage unit with an amazing view. What is a full size, used-up desk chair sitting in the bedroom? How many guests have sat on this with their naked ass cheeks. Walls need a paint job, baseboards need complete replacement, drapes were filthy, carpet needs steam cleaning, and the lanai, oh my!!! We know the difference between trade-wind dust and straight up neglect. Windows and screens were filthy. We called management and asked if they would clean the lanai. We were informed we had to do so ourselves….that’s different!!!!Dated: All appliances are at least 20 years old. They work, which is a plus, but not updated as the description implies. Time to remove the cheap Lassen prints from the wall and go to another garage sale for more used art work. What’s the purpose of having a safe in the closet that isn’t available for guest use, an ironing board that’s broken, and even if it weren’t, you might want to provide an iron(not present). Depleted: This unit is simply depleted of love. It is has been neglected and needs a complete makeover. At the least, a deep cleaning. PROS:Appliances work. Great ice maker. Shower water pressure is a plus. Management was easily accessed with timely response. They just didn’t handle problems well.

Mike was the best host ever! Every time we had a question, he responded almost immediately. We had a great time in his unit, in large part because all of our needs were met. If we had a question about the TVs, Mike would walk us through the solution. When we didn't know the pool bathroom code, Mike called the complex office for the current code. We didn't even ask for an extension of our checkout time, but Mike asked when our flight took off, and when he learned it was several hours later, he offered us the longest extension he could. We would love to rent from Mike again when our future plans include Maui!

Wonderful condo with an unbelievable view. The beach is less than 30 feet from the lanai. The beach/water does have rocks and coral, so not the most swimmable at times. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and utensils. Host was very responsive.

The hot tub and the in unit washer and dryer were a huge bonus. The condo was well stocked, and very clean. The only thing I wish it had, and maybe I missed it would be a tray to carry items out to the bbq area. The pool area and proximity to the beach was wonderful. Overall we had a great stay!!

Greg is a super helpful host. We loved our stay at Sugar Beach. We explored the whole island and loved its central location! We stayed at the end of June in 2026 and had beautiful weather. We met lots of wonderful people and had some amazing adventures. Sad to say I highly recommend this place because it will probably be tougher to book next time if we are able to swing another trip. The beach right out front of the condo is long and perfect for walking on. Loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings with coffee watching the waves and canoes. We feel totally blessed. This trip was truly special. The bed was comfortable, the TV stayed off (on purpose), the pool and hot tub were a great way to unwind at night after the sun set. We made use of the in unit washer and dryer. And as a side note Gretchen at Dina’s Sandwitch shop found on the resort property makes terrific drinks if that’s something you are looking for.

The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed breakfast on the lani with beautiful beachfront views. Collin and Kevin were easy to communicate with and the condo had everything we needed and more, from beach chairs and snorkel gear to coffee and plenty of Tupperware to bring the best local snacks down by the pool to enjoy all day long! The location was perfect if you want to be able to walk along the amazing sand sugar beach and be close to town! We loved that it wasn't super touristy but we were able to head to all the fun spots when we wanted! We will definitely be saving Collin and Kevin's place to book next time we are back!

I would not recommend this rental until the owner does significant mold remediation. There is black mold growing in the shower, in the sofa bed mattress and there is bubbling and peeling in paint in various places throughout the unit. There was also a lot of dust build up around the unit and the bathroom vents were so caked with dust that chunks would come off when we showered. The refrigerator had broken shelves. It’s unfortunate that this unit has these issues because the location is great. It’s been poorly maintained.

You can't beat the view. Sitting on the lanai having your morning coffee watching the waves crash on the beach below was unbeatable. A five minute walk down the beach is a great little bakery and farmers market for freshly baked pastries and local fruit. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this property once before and decided to return. It was expensive, but we enjoyed it. Good quality, cleanliness, functionality in the unit. Can’t beat the view or access to the beach. Parking was easy. We had very noisy neighbors at one point, and called the office. Whatever intervention they had worked well and quickly. No noise after that. Much appreciated. Kitchen and lanai are great. Things to improve: bedroom door didn’t close easily - needs to be planed. Toilet is really tiny! Lots of street and wind noise in bedroom (ok with earplugs).
