This trip symbolized a return to Maui in many ways for us, and hopefully symbolized the path to normalcy for its residents. We were welcomed everywhere we went across Maui with many thanks for returning to visit their cherished island. Even our host shared in this spirit by donating almost 1000 dollars of our visit to charity. Additionally, they let people stay there for over a month during the tragedy. For us this return also marked my mom’s 70th birthday, my return from 15 years ago to Maui on my honeymoon, and our kids first Hawaii adventure. On all counts this was our favorite place we ever stayed at Maui and a truly special trip. The place was great with very good air conditioning, comfy beds, and a very quiet and secluded space. Our kids got avocados from the tree outside that we ate and became a morning ritual hunting for them. We saw a whale from the balcony the last day and a turtle out in front. Our favorite snorkeling was airport beach just 10 minutes away. We ate pike bowls at miso phat only .2 of a mile away and had a whole Maui gold pineapple everyday (3 dollars at Costco). We cooked breakfast and lunch at the house and it was nicely equipped. Our host even let us check out at 7 pm on our last day for a small fee. Overall, 10/10 would definitely recommend and hope we can stay there again someday! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

So many good things to say about our experience on this trip! The unit itself is beautifully remodeled and the hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into the items they provide for their guests. Everything was very clean, comfortable, organized and Sherri was very responsive to any questions we had.
We stayed for 8 nights and had no trouble finding activities (golf, zipline, snorkeling) and restaurants to keep us busy and well fed. We especially loved the beach at the property which was never over crowded and perfect for floating in the surf.
We certainly missed Lahaina, but took the opportunity to explore more of the island than we might have otherwise and had a fantastic trip.
Respect the privacy of the locals, tip generously and be a 'good' guest and you'll see that the hospitality you'd expect from Maui is stronger than ever.

We have stayed at the Outrigger many times in several different units over the years and always have had a great stay. Communication with the property manager on this unit was exceptional. I highly recommend this property if you like a smaller complex for your vacation. Very spacious and well equipped and the ocean front setting is hard to beat.

There’s nothing like waking up to the ocean right in front of you! Morning coffee, lots of lanai time just enjoying the ocean view and sunsets. We saw turtles one morning at the beach next door. Unit had everything we needed for pool and beach days. Our hearts hurt for Maui. ❤️ Beautiful people and culture.

The condo is in a beautiful location with a beach and pool. While older and not renovated, it vas very clean, comfortable, and had such an amazing view. The owner was very kind to work with us as our family got separated due to the fires. This is a gem of a place to stay.

Miranda showed us the true meaning of the “aloha spirit” during our stay. We were on Maui during the very catastrophic and devastating wildfires. To make matters worse, we got separated from our 3 youngest children for two days while on the island. Miranda and her ohana became the only contact to our kids. She and her ohana went above and beyond to make sure our children were cared for, had everything they needed, were fed, and okay until we could be reunited. She got them to the shuttle where we were eventually reunited. While it was the single most terrifying event of my life, Miranda and her ohana were the only hope we had. I am more grateful for them than I have words to express. Thank you is insignificant, but will have to do.

Outrigger Kahana is a beautiful complex. Fully equipped, clean, beautiful surroundings. Everything as advertised plus pleasant surprise with many condiments provided. Beach towels and toys were a big plus. Sunsets from balcony were gorgeous.

This property was perfect for our family of 6! It was comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need for the pool or beach. The best part is the view and proximity to a private beach and quick drive to Front Street where there are tons of shops and restaurants. The beach is stunning and is perfect for watching sunsets.

I was a bit nervous that the nearby beach would be awkward to get to, or just no good. But it's a perfectly nice beach. Not as great as some in West Maui, but the convenience of popping right over to it, and its uncrowdedness, makes it a great option.
I also appreciated that the condo came stocked with sand toys, beach chairs, etc.

We visited Maui for my parents 50th Anniversary. The amenities, condo and location were everything we needed for a wonderful vacation with my whole family. We had 6 adults and 3 kids (9, 6, 2) and we had plenty of room in the condo. Our family especially loved all the extra special touches the owners placed on the condo. It was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook, bake, and relax at the beach. We highly recommended this property and hope to visit again one day.

We were so happy with our stay! It's always risky picking a place just from online reviews, but this one is a definite winner!. The property is beautifully maintained and the condo has been nicely updated. Best of all is the view from the lani and living room, stunning! When they say "ocean front" they mean it! The condo is very spacious. We had 9 adults and everyone had room. The bedrooms are spacious, as well as the kitchen and bathrooms. The lani has gorgeous views of the ocean, where I sat every morning with my coffee...perfect! I feel very lucky to have found such a perfect place large enough to comfortably accomodate my large group. The air conditioners in each room are wonderful and there are plenty of towels. Check in was easy and the property manager was readily available. Everyone in our group loved the condo and I consider myself very lucky to have found this property and hope to stay again!!

The location was absolutely beautiful. You can see the ocean straight off of the lanai. Seven of us had beds and slept comfortably two were on the air mattress. That was nice and brand new.

We loved our stay at the condo in Kahana! This was our third time on the island, but our first time staying on the west side. It was a great location and easy to get everywhere. We also loved all the restaurants and shopping close by. The condo was nicely updated and a beautiful location near a private beach. We will definitely be back!

This property exceeded our expectations! The location is perfect and the view of the ocean was spectacular. Watching the beautiful sunsets from the lanai was one of our favorite things to do. We had 5 adults staying in the condo and we had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked, but there is an ant issue that needs to be addressed. Other than that we enjoyed our week stay!

Immaculate rooms, comfortable beds and enough room for the 7 of us to spread out as we spent a week together. The property manager was always accessible and quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the property as well as the unit that we stayed in.
Close to the beach and a nice swimming pool. There are food options nearby, even walking distance. Short drive to Front St and other activities. There were plenty of towels, both beach towels and bath towels. We would definitely stay again.

A great, well kept place to stay. I felt like the owners had just walked out, and we walked in. Well stocked kitchen, and hall closet with all kinds of stuff you probably forget to bring. Beach chairs and pool noodles on the back deck. Mini split AC in every room. Even the toilet paper was high quality. Yes. I really did just say that!

Great location and good beach. Public beach next door is large and accessible by a gate. It was a very quiet public beach. There was always sand no matter how high the tode was. This is a great property.

This was a great family vacation! The condo was truly beautiful and had all the amenities you could possibly want.
Good central location with the beach just steps away. The water at this location was somewhat rocky but not bad with water shoes. We saw several turtles here which was more than Turtle Town.
