We stayed in Kahana with our children and their families. Six adults and three kids under 6 in this beautifully styled, waterfront property. The condo was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Clean, quiet and modern unit situated on a beautiful property. Pool and grounds are spotless and offer magnificent views of the islands, whale spouts and swimming sea turtles. Our hosts were helpful, considerate and easy to communicate with. We came to honor my husband by spreading his ashes at Haleakala. Unfortunately due to a fire we were unable to do it. However, we made many new good memories, visited old memories and had a healing time. The condo felt like home, had everything we needed and was very clean. Property is very well kept, including pool and bbq. Host is very kind and sweet. When we return, we hope the home is available.

Great place. Clean and nicely furnished. Unit below has an air conditioner in the window with the bearings out of the motor and makes a very load shrill noise. It was difficult to walk by it each time I had to enter the property. An exterminator left a note that they would be spraying the next day, We did not feel comfortable with that since we had an infant and a pregnant lady staying there. I emailed the host but never heard back. We left a note on the door asking them not to spray and never heard wither way.

This property was our favorite part of our Maui trip. It is steps away from the pool and beach, and allowed all of us to come and go from the sunshine as we pleased.
Maui is definitely open and everyone in the community was so welcoming and friendly. They seemed to really appreciate our business. We booked excursions, ate at the local restaurants, and shopped for souvenirs just as we have in years past. The hosts were super responsive and helpful when our flights were unexpectedly changed. We’d love to come back and stay here again.

This trip symbolized a return to Maui in many ways for us, and hopefully symbolized the path to normalcy for its residents. We were welcomed everywhere we went across Maui with many thanks for returning to visit their cherished island. Even our host shared in this spirit by donating almost 1000 dollars of our visit to charity. Additionally, they let people stay there for over a month during the tragedy. For us this return also marked my mom’s 70th birthday, my return from 15 years ago to Maui on my honeymoon, and our kids first Hawaii adventure. On all counts this was our favorite place we ever stayed at Maui and a truly special trip. The place was great with very good air conditioning, comfy beds, and a very quiet and secluded space. Our kids got avocados from the tree outside that we ate and became a morning ritual hunting for them. We saw a whale from the balcony the last day and a turtle out in front. Our favorite snorkeling was airport beach just 10 minutes away. We ate pike bowls at miso phat only .2 of a mile away and had a whole Maui gold pineapple everyday (3 dollars at Costco). We cooked breakfast and lunch at the house and it was nicely equipped. Our host even let us check out at 7 pm on our last day for a small fee. Overall, 10/10 would definitely recommend and hope we can stay there again someday! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

This property was perfect for our family! The views were amazing! The home was clean and comfortable. The entire property was kept beautifully manicured and clean. The pool was beautiful- a great spot to sit and relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend this property more highly!

Outrigger Kahana is a beautiful complex. Fully equipped, clean, beautiful surroundings. Everything as advertised plus pleasant surprise with many condiments provided. Beach towels and toys were a big plus. Sunsets from balcony were gorgeous.

We were a family of nine. There was room for all of us. We toured Maui during the day, traveling to all of our planned activities. We prepared our evening dinners there at the vrbo, and had relaxing times at the end of our days in the swimming pool! Everything was wonderful! Thank you so much!

Gorgeous property. Very clean and beautifully decorated - well stocked, comfy beds and lovely view from the lanai of the ocean and pool. It was a 1 min walk to the beach from our cottage, and we really enjoyed watching whales every morning from the bench. We didn’t use the pool but it was very inviting.
Location is amazing. 10 mins to kanapali beach and 15-20 mins to Lahaina stores and restaurants. Lots of beaches close by - Baby beach had good snorkeling for kids - we saw a lot of fish and turtles.
Tracy was very helpful and responsive. Overall our stay was 5star!!

This spot is easy to get to and looks out to the ocean. The rental was very clean and spacious. It easily fit 6 adults and a child. My 3 year old son enjoyed sleeping on the bunk beds. The rental was fully furnished, had cooking supplies, and small appliances. There were games and TVs accessible for entertaining at night. The patio overlooked the pool and provided a nice view of the ocean. Since we were 6 adults and a child, we rented two cars, of which there were 2 parking spots for us available. The unfortunate part of our trip was that we had multiple days of rain and flood warnings, but no one is to blame for this. We were safe and dry inside the rental. Heather, the property contact onsite, was amazing and helpful for providing some recommendations on places to go and sites to see during the rain. Overall, we all loved staying at the rental.

We (4 adults and 4 young children) had an excellent week-long stay in January. This condo is very clean, spacious, and has a great air conditioning system. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and equipment, and the kids loved all of the water toys. We all had a wonderful time at the pool and the beach.
We would love to stay in this condo again!!

We spent 8 glorious days on Maui staying at the Kahana Outrigger. The townhome was wonderful for 4 adults and 2 kids. It was spacious enough that we never felt cramped. Lovely grounds and very quiet. The beach brought out a monk seal which was so fun to see. Totally recommend this unit to any family. Mahalo to the owners who were very responsive to our questions.

The place was clean and very nicely decorated. Check-in was super easy. The beach equipment on hand was very nice to have; Our group went to a beach almost every day. Having beach access right out front was nice too. Going for a walk along the beach in the morning was wonderful. The views from the lanai were great too. We saw so many rainbows!
We had six adults staying for two weeks, and we never felt cramped or crowded. It was a perfect fit for our family. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and laid back. We all really enjoyed our stay here.
The only thing I could complain about was the AC external unit on the lanai. It took up a large chunk of space and, when the AC was on, blasted heat across the lanai. Really a minor issue though since there was plenty of space in the apartment for activities.

I spent a week in the property with my wife, 4-year old daughter as well as my mother and father in-law. The condo was beautiful and recently remodeled. We had plenty of space in the unit. The view of the pool and the ocean were breathtaking. Will definitely consider staying here again next time we visit the island. We highly recommend it.

Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids) just returned from our stay in this Kahana Outrigger condo and it was fantastic. The decor is even nicer than the photos and it was perfectly clean. Plenty of space for our family and many beach toys to enjoy. The pool and grills were a plus and the ocean view and landscaping was beautiful. The beach itself wasn’t great for us (there are rocks and we were worried about the kids) but many good beach options were a short drive away. Plus, it was kind of fun to beach hop and see more sights anyway. The location is nice because it’s a quick drive (5-10 minutes) from Kanapali and Lahaina but without the traffic/crowds of those areas. We had an awesome time!

My family and friends from high school were in town for a wedding. Our stay at the condo was absolutely perfect and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. By trade I work in new home construction and I must say, the fresh new renovations to the condo were stunning. Very well done! The showers are AMAZING! Love the beautiful tile work, fixtures and natural light. All fixtures throughout the house were so cohesive and beautifully chosen. I can tell there was a lot of thought and love put into every single detail, down to the linens. Everything was phenomenal. The space was perfect for us. Location is fabulous, so quick and easy to get to most places we wanted to visit. The wedding we attended was in Kapalua, so it was very easy to get to and from all wedding related events. Thank you so much for being so accommodating. The condo is beautiful and we made memories that we will never forget. Property manager was awesome too! So helpful. Quick and easy check in and check out process. All in all, 10 out of 10 experience, including a turtle sighting at the condo's beach access.

We just got back from our week long vacation to Maui and wish we stayed longer! Having a pool and small beach with in steps was perfect for a family with 2 young kids. We liked that it was quiet and far away from the busy touristy areas. The condo is well equipped and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again for our next Maui adventure.

TL/DR - Great condo; If you're a light sleeper (avoid the loft), if you want a private bathroom (go for the loft).
Upon arriving the condo was warm and welcoming. Our party of 8 quickly separated into rooms. The kids went to the queen + bunk bedroom (this one is great if you want DARKNESS for sleeping). The adults split the other two rooms. The loft is warmer during the day, but was comfortable at night.
As far as the amenities: the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/plates for the entire family to enjoy meals. There were plenty of flotation noodles and boogie boards to have fun in the pool or the beach (which is only a few steps away).
From a technology perspective, the provided wifi was nice and speedy (250/10) which allowed for everyone to binge on their devices at the end of the day to unwind. One thing many might not consider important, but was REALLY nice were the built-in split-level AC units. Rather than having to deal with window based devices, each room had their own remote control to set the temperature how you like it.
If you're looking to stay "offline" there are also plenty of boardgames to keep the family entertained.
The complex is quiet with only 7 other units, perhaps a potential downside is the balcony from this unit is NOT orientated to catch sunset or sunrise.

This house was great for our trip that included six adults and two children. The house is fully stocked in both the kitchen and bathrooms. The bunk beds were great for the kids and was a major reason for booking this particular rental. The view from the balcony is great and we were even able to watch some whales a few times. The beach is actually quite underrated to me, very peaceful and only a few people around when we went. The house has plenty of beach goodies for kids and adults including very nice chairs and an umbrella. The location of the rental is great as we were able to try some fantastic restaurants in the area. I would definitely consider renting this unit again if I visited Maui.

This was our first trip to Maui and it did not disappoint! The condo was beautiful and it was perfect for our group of 6. We had an amazing view of the ocean and a short walk to a wonderful little beach area. We saw turtles and we were lucky to see a few whale tails in the distance. I highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

This is a wonderful, renovated condo with an amazing view of the ocean. The grounds are very well maintained and there is a designated parking spot. The beach right below the condo wasn’t ideal for the small kids to make sand castles due to the higher tide but there is a great beach right next door with a connecting gate from the property. The owner was very communicative with check in and any small kinks or questions we had. There are plenty of towels and beach equipment ie-chairs, boogie boards etc. A quick Target stop for sunscreen, food , and wine and we were all set for a fabulous week in Maui. We had an adult, teen, 6,2, and 1 year old and we all had an amazing time and will come back again.

We loved our stay at this place with great views and things to do for the kids. the host was very communicative and accommodative with our needs and made sure we have a wonderful experience overall which we did. Only suggestion is to have sun shades installed in upstairs room where sun rays fall directly on the bed in the afternoon, should anyone want to have a quick afternoon nap. Neverthless it was a beautiful property so close to everything and kept the family totally engaged with all the facilities-beach access, swimming toys, condo amenities, closer to all shopping/activities places, and best views. The condo is located at a great place. Short drive to all of the sites, but located at a quiet place for peace and quiet. There’s a small quiet beach behind the condo if you don’t feel like driving to the larger beaches. We greatly enjoyed our stay there and this condo will be our 1st choice whenever we go to Maui

We had 5 adults and 3 kids comfortably stay here. I’m not gonna lie, having a beautiful and newly renovated space made me a tad anxious with three boys under the age of 8, but I threw some towels over the dining bench/chairs and it definitely helped keep things clean at meal times. We absolutely loved the kitchen and dining area and shared many home cooked meals and games with the family. We had a great view of the beach and could walk right down to it. I could also see my kids swim in the pool from the balcony which was a plus. Everything we needed was available and if it wasn’t, the owners made every effort to accommodate. I really appreciated the great communication with our host. The condo is located near a lot of great beaches, markets and restaurants. All in all, we would recommend this place and hope to visit again one day!

Our family and friends family with multiple kids had an excellent stay here. The location and property with pool and beach out the door just cannot be beat on the island. We felt very safe and spaced from others in the property. The unit itself has just been renovated, so we’ll designed and comfortable for entire family. Some small new unit things came up during stay and both owner and on-site manager were very quick to respond. Both very nice and easy to communicate with and offered great ideas and advice during our stay. They had pool toys and coolers making day trips easy to plan for. Easy parking is also a big bonus. We spent 10 days in Maui at this beautiful condo. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every part of it as well as the property. It’s a nice small property with only 16 units so it never felt overcrowded. You have a wonderful view of the ocean, a nice pool in front of you, and the beach access was fantastic with amazing sunsets. The condo has been impeccably remodeled and they haven’t missed a single detail. The beds were very comfortable, they also provided plenty of cozy beach towels, the kitchen has everything you need, we had games to play and beach chairs and boogie boards were available as well. Looking forward to having another vacation back there again, who knows maybe next year!

This property is a gem! It’s centrally located and beautifully renovated! The unit easily accommodated our group of 8. Every detail was thought of in the renovation, from kitchen supplies to the beach chairs, umbrella and toys! We enjoyed the pool and the beach area on property. Tracy had excellent recommendations for beaches, dining, and assisted us in finding a new charter when ours has been cancelled (lifesaver!!). She promptly responded to emails and texts, and was very pleasant to communicate with! Would definitely stay here again!
