You will not be disappointed in this GEM! The oceanfront views are incredible from your private lanai and large living room window. The bedrooms are so comfortable and very quiet. The kitchen is updated and has everything you could possibly need. Jenny is very sweet and eager to make sure your stay is perfect. Very communicative and easy to reach. The pool and on site restaurant are such an asset for those poolside drinks or lunch/dinner. The turtles were abundant and saw them every morning. Snorkeling and paddle boarding was made very easy with the shop right on the property. So many great memories made in this great condo! Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely stunning view of the coast! Perfect condo for three couples to have their own spaces with own private baths. Beach below the unit was full of turtles you could watch from the balcony or snorkel with below. Loved how there were communal barbecues to grill from below the units, a nice pool, and a delicious restaurant. Would definitely recommend! Family room was a little warm when we arrived since the AC wasn’t on and the blinds were open letting the heat of the afternoon in. Some of the patio decks need to be addressed for cleanliness, clogged downspout / staining on deck, & dead plants, and there could be some adjustments and fine tuning of loose faucets and hardware around the home. TV in the downstairs guest bedroom should be replaced due to having static lines across it. Mostly minor things that didn’t impact enjoyment of our stay but could be addressed by the owner to make it perfect! The location and the view was a 10!

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Kahana Villa F208 with our family of four! The condo was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel at home. The kitchen was fully stocked for making meals, and we especially appreciated having beach gear like chairs and towels available.The location is fantastic—quiet and relaxing but close to great beaches, local restaurants, and shops. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the lanai, enjoying the ocean breeze. The property itself is well-maintained, and the pool and hot tub were perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.

The photos on VRBO were very deceiving and did not accurately represent the way the condo actually looked. The walls were very dirty, looked like haven't been painted for quite a long time. There were holes in the walls from artwork etc, which was removed; sliding doors to bathrooms could not be closed completely, eliminating any privacy; one of the sliding doors fell off the track and my son had to fix it; the inside of the medicine cabinets were stained and rusty; wasps or hornets nests on both balconies; overhead piping on balcony was rusted. The owner stated that parking was not a problem, which was very inaccurate. Every time we left the condo and came back, we had a very difficult time finding a parking space. I've stayed at multiple vacation condos over the years through VRBO and I've never had an issue until now. Overall, I believe that I was deceived regarding the aesthetic of the condo and I will not be leaving a good review. I made the owner aware of the condo's appearance and she is refusing to give me two nights compensation which I feel is more than fair. She is stating that I'm just trying to extort money out of her. I can assure you that is not the case, given the fact that I paid in full from my checking account and did not use a credit card which clearly shows that I do have the liquid funds. I feel that 6000 was way too much in comparison to other places we stayed at in the past.

The first thing I would say about this place is that the listing is for real! The view from the condo is every bit as stunning as it looks in the pictures.We went with a family of 6 with kids aged 9-17, and this condo has TONS of room to spread out, with 3 legit bedrooms (all kings) and an excellent layout that is really nicely spread out. The fully stocked kitchen was great and the overall feel of the condo is extremely comfortable.The beach area by the resort is modest in size but is beautiful. It was never crowded while we were there, and we had never had any trouble grabbing a good spot on the beach. The water has high visibility and was very calm. There is also basically nothing swimming around in the water around you save for the occasional friendly sea turtle that will pop its head above water about 40 yards from shore! All in all it was a great spot for kids to play around and swim in the water. Snorkeling gear, boogie boards, etc. were all available from the onsite snorkel shop at very reasonable prices.The resort is situated nicely on the northwest part of Maui in Kahana. It is a fairly congested area but not noisy at all, and there are a few restaurants within walking distance including Captain Jack's which was a great casual restaurant on site, as well as Miso Phat Sushi and Dolly's Pizza directly across the street. However, for most things we did outside of the resort we did need a car so would recommend a rental.Overall, highly recommend!!

Had great sunsets off the deck and the property had a nice pool and attached “Captain Jack’s” restaurant had good food. This penthouse is beautiful, large, and well stocked. The rental process was easy. The grounds are well kept and The Sands of Kahana has a happy Aloha vibe where people enjoy the pool, restaurant, the grills, and the beach! We spent most of our time there out on the main spacious balcony enjoying the views of the rainbows, turtles, sunsets, and happy guests frolicking in the waters. Captain Jack's restaurant/bar was great and it's a huge asset to staying there. Next time we will rent the paddleboards but somehow we ran out of time!This condo is large with plenty of space to spread out. Each bedroom has a balcony with either a beach view or mountain view. The family enjoyed having their private spots. The only negative was the room upstairs and the main primary bedroom downstairs have slider walls that do not provide noise reduction. Those trying to sleep could hear everything going on in the main area. So we used the box fans and earplugs if we were in those areas and turned the tv down with closed captions on in the living area...but it would only be a problem if small children would need to have quiet while sleeping.We appreciated that the condo was well stocked with supplies. . The washer/dryer were super helpful and it was stocked with detergents/softener sheets as well. We were glad we brought our snorkel gear as the sets that were available but not reliable. We left our so maybe you'll get lucky but rentals are plentiful. You will love it here!

Condo was as described. King bed was very good and comfortable. Sofa bed for my 10 and 12 yr old granddaughters was... well a sofa bed. Not that great. The kitchen has the basics, but needs a non-stick frying pan. Not enough glasses. Even for 4 we had to run dishwasher every day. The views were amazing. The Sands of Kahana has a great restaurant and pool and is right on the best beach! We saw more turtles than we could count!! Overall good value condo and I would recommend it!

No AC and we never turned the fans off, but easy enough to cool the unit down in the evenings by opening windows and letting the cross breeze flow through. Our family enjoyed our stay at Sands of Kahana. The condo was spacious, and we enjoyed the corner location with spectacular views of the ocean and sunset. Nearly everything was spotless, except we found the dishwasher to not work well, with dishes often dirty coming out despite being washed clean before being put in. Our children found the entrance to their room via the second bathroom awkward, but they enjoyed their large retreat! We had a lovely stay, and we enjoyed many of the amenities of the resort.

Right on the water. Views from every window, even the shower! Two beautiful balconies. I think it may be the best unit on the beach. I wanted to fall asleep to the waves and this did not disappoint. The waves were actually too loud, which is not a horrible problem to have. We could see turtles popping their heads up as they swam by.

Appointments were lovely, location and view were fantastic, the kitchen was stocked with quality utensils every cook would appreciate, and more than enough clothes hangers! Much appreciated the pool and water toys, beach towels, and air conditioning! Restaurant and Bar on site were handy too. We saw lots of sea turtles as well as some dolphins right from the veranda.

The property is not as described. The elevator did not work the first or last day of our stay. Not pleasant taking luggage and groceries for a five day stay up six flights of stairs on the first day. Grandpa could not join us on some of our experiences because he could not manage the stairs while the elevator was out. He was stuck in the apartment when the AC did not work the first day and a half. AC is needed in spite of of management’s claims. Supplies were very sparse. We had to restock toilet paper on day three. To the next person that stays at the unit you’re welcome. There wasn’t even leftover paper goods from prior guess. The can opener was so chintzy we were sure it was gonna break while being used. The management is so cheap that they did not replace baseboards when putting in new tile floor.On a positive note, the view is exceptional and the unit is very spacious. We had a group of six consisting of three generations. Oh and you can see turtles when snorkeling in front of the building.

Our family of 7, including our young adult & teen kids, spent 4 amazing nights in this beautiful condo on the beach. Communication with the owner was perfect. The home was clean & had everything needed for cooking, including many spices & ice maker. Towels, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, coolers in the condo for use. The bathroom set up has the sinks outside the toilet & shower rooms so they can be used even when the shower rooms were occupied. Washer & dryer in the unit worked great. PLENTY of space for a large group to spread out in or outside on the 2 lanais.The lanai off the living room has a large outside table & seating for up to 10 people; we ate our meals there. The view from the living room and lanai is AMAZING! The beach w/mild waves is just below the lanai & perfect for swimming. The A/C worked great, but we mostly just had window & lanai screens open with ceiling fans for a perfect breeze w/o A/C. There’s a small general store within a 5-7 minute walk. There are grocery stores & anything you’d need within a 10 minute drive. It’s close to Kaanapali beach& hotel areas, but “our” beach was a little more secluded & not overpopulated, which was nice. The resort is safe& quiet. The stars at night were beautiful & relaxing. We’d been planning of our family’s 50th state visit to Hawaii for years. Maui was all we dreamed it would be & this condo was truly “icing on the cake” to be our vacation home. We hope we can return to this home again someday! Thank you!!!

There is no other word for it. The condo was amazing. Check in was easy, the elevators were great for getting luggage up and down. The view was breathtaking. Everything was clean, the amenities provided were great, and the AC was a lifesaver in the 85 degrees heat we had while we were there. Cynthia responded to questions and messages promptly. There was a book of instructions and places to visit that was invaluable. We ate at several of the places they listed and they were fabulous.

Overall, the place was very good. The view is amazing, and everything was functional. Great communication from the property management team. The location is good, and the on-site restaurant was convenient. Price was reasonable. The only negatives are that the property is a bit dated and has a few minor deferred maintenance issues that were fairly easy to ignore. I'll probably try to stay somewhere newer / more luxurious next time.

The condo was fantastic!! The view was amazing, you could see sea turtles in the mornings and evenings and the sunsets were breathtaking. We stayed for 8 nights and the first night we had dinner at Captain Jacks, the service was pretty good, the food was ok but definitely worth the convenience since we were exhausted from traveling and didn't have any groceries. The condo was so spacious and open while having separate and private sleeping areas. There were paddles for pickle ball and fins for snorkeling and a cooler for the pool. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything; from ziplock bags of various sizes, chip clips and well stocked seasonings. We used the grills in the common area one night and it was clean and ready for use. The beach was small but was not over crowded and the waters were calm. The restaurant scene was very diverse. Maui Brewing Company and Dukes Beach House were our favorite, between the menu options, the service, the delicious food and beautiful sunsets you can't go wrong. Aloha Plate and Mala was definitely over rated in our opinion. We truly enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau and a Road to Hana tour through Travel Shack. We hope to go back and would definitely rent from Cindy again!

This property was great. The views from our 11th floor condo was the pinnacle ouf our trip. Mid April, we could see whales, dolphins and sea turtles daily looking into the 'Au'Au channel. Plenty of food options around as well as a grocery store and little bar. Lots of things in the condo to do if stuck inside.

We stayed in this excellent two bedroom condo for 8 days. The ocean front view was wonderful and sleeping so close to the ocean was very soothing. The master bedroom is oceanfront, which is not always easy to find in Hawaii. Many times the master bedroom is at the back of the unit.. No complaints, in fact, we never talked to the property manager/owner as there were absolutely no issues.
