1. We will offer you a full refund if the State of Hawaii COVID related mandatory 14 day quarantine is implemented from now until December 31, 2022.
2. For reservations made between now and December 31 2022, we will refund our guests up to 2% of the total of their reservation amount for them to purchase a travel insurance policy that would cover their reservation in case someone in their traveling party tested positive for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their flight. There are numerous policies available that offer this type of coverage. A standard travel insurance policy for 6 to 8 people for about $4,000 worth of reimbursement for trip cancellation in case someone in your group tests positive for the virus will cost you around $200 and we will pay part of that. It also includes Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Lost Baggage and Baggage Delay. Please contact us if you would like more information on these policies.
Our place will be cleaned and disinfected for the COVID – 19 virus prior to your arrival. This includes all linens, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, keyboards, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks. Once you arrive at our place we will have hand sanitizer, hand soap and disinfectant wipes on hand for you to use.
Once you arrive you will see the beautiful sunsets, rainbows and whales when in season from our unit! The Sands of Kahana has the biggest 3 bedroom condominiums (1850 square feet) on the island and we are one of the few 3 bedroom units at the Sands of Kahana that has air conditioning in their unit. We recently placed new wood floors throughout our unit. In addition, we put a brand new air conditioning system in our unit. We now have air conditioning to all rooms in our unit.

2nd second bedroom is so large it has:
- king size bed
- queen size bed
- lanai with mountain, garden, and ocean views.
The second bathroom has a separate sink vanity area and spacious shower area.
The third room has two extra long twin beds that can be made into a king bed for a one time fee of $75 that our property manager charges us to have their maids make the bed change. This room has mountain and garden views.
In our living room, we have two sofa beds with queen size mattresses.
A new central air conditioning throughout the unit and washer / dryer inside the unit adds even greater comfort and convenience. Housed at the Sands Of Kahana, all guests have access to the Kahana Beach, and an array of amenities in the complex including two ocean front pools, hot tub Jacuzzi, comprehensive pool side restaurant, full bar, exercise facility, volleyball, tennis courts, putting green and daily guest entertainment programs.
