Best property I have ever booked for my family. There were 7 of us, including grandma and gpa. PLENTY of space to be with each other and away from each other. Awesome full kitchen, bathroom in every room. The most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Couple that with the balcony door open to hear the surf, best sleep! I was so relaxed I could cry. They have a bunch of beach gear, too. Elevator down and maybe 80 feet walk and you are at the pool and fun bar/restaurant. Walk another 40 feet and you are in the ocean! Great sunset you can watch from any of the THREE balconies. Only weird thing was Grandma kept walking through our room to get to the balcony which you can get to through the living room OR SHE COULD JUST USE THE ONE IN HER OWN ROOM. I SLEEP NAKED so maybe that was the cause.

Our stay was fabulous! The condo is just as described, if not better!! Very spacious, family of 5 that felt like we each had our own hotel room attached to the well appointed communal space. Here is what we appreciated the most…
-The views!! Stunning balconies to watch the sunset.Big windows everywhere.
-Quaint beach steps away.
-So close to the elevator (but it was really quiet) and just steps from the beach.
-Location is excellent to go to many other beaches/shopping/restaurants. We did 5 different beaches in 5 days! All within 7-15 minutes.
-Well equipped!!! We utilized so much of what’s provided both in the condo and for the beach.
-Cozy and home like feeling
-Washer/Dryer hugely beneficial for washing beach towels.
-Friendly and responsive host!! Called to check to make sure we got in okay.
We will definitely come back to use this condo again. Can’t say enough good things about this great place to stay! You will not be disappointed.

Family of 8 stayed in this incredible oceanfront condo for 1 week. Plenty of room for all of us, great kitchen with every thing you could ever need for cooking meals in. Condo comes with beach chairs, rolling cooler, beach umbrellas, snorkel equipment lots of sand toys for the younger ones. Every morning we sat on the lanai to have our morning coffee and breakfast. In the evening we witnessed the most amazing/beautiful sunsets! Condo was close to a few restaurants, one being Miso Phat! There is a small convenience store across the street for any last minute food items or adult beverages. We had amazing communication with Cindy the owner, she responded quickly to all our questions and kept us informed on all the updates related to the tragedy in Lahaina. We will absolutely stay here again if/when we return to Maui. A +++++ stay! Thanks again Cindy!

Absolutely AMAZING! We loved every single minute of our stay in Maui. This condo is super clean, spacious, well equipped, beds are super comfy and the view is amazing! AC worked great, washer & dryer in the unit, stainless appliances, updated bathrooms - everything you could want! There were 7 of us total and we had plenty of room to spread out. My husband & I travelled to Maui with our 5 kids (ages 18 & up) & this was our home for 10 days. It was a gorgeous unit & property. Views from the condo can't be beat, and the owner was quick to respond with any questions we had.
The only minor concerns we had were that the mattresses are very firm (not what we are used to), and the condo is very open, which means you hear everything. All the rooms had portable fans, so adding the white noise helped a lot. I would definitely stay there again, and hope someday we are able to. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

As a long-time timeshare owner at this resort I already knew it’s one of the best properties in West Maui, but we needed an extra bedroom for this year’s family trip so I rented this unit. It’s been beautifully updated (especially the bathrooms) and is very well equipped and maintained. The owner/host was very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful 10 days on the ocean in Maui. A view to die for and all the amenities needed. Kitchen very well stocked, beds comfortable, spacious main rooms. Even the small restaurant in the complex offered surprisingly good food and typical Maui prices . Location is a little far for the “tourist” trips but not unreasonable with down town Lahaina being very close. Cynthia was Excellent at making us feel welcome and we will plan on coming back soon!

This is an exceptional property, fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The owner is friendly and responsive. The pictures listed do not do this place justice. The views are spectacular. In the early morning, we enjoyed coffee as we watched turtles swim by the beach. Having a closet full of beach essentials was a plus as we took full advantage both on the beach and by the pool. In the evening, we were in awe of the sunsets. We would definitely return. We had the most amazing stay. The condo was perfect and had all the amenities we needed. The location was excellent to satisfy all three generations. Kids favorite part was the pools, everyone was very friendly. Grandparents enjoyed afternoons on the patio taking in the view- which included whales and sea turtles! We never had to drive far for day trips. My son asked if we could come back for his birthday :)

The owner was super helpful before we arrived! We loved the view of the ocean - very nice property. Our only comment is that the bed in the master bedroom - the sheets didn't stay on. And the bed in the loff was very squeaky. Other than that, the property was great and just want we wanted for a wonderful Maui stay.

We only stayed for five nights, but the unit was just beautiful! The view was just spectacular, we could even see whales from the balcony. It had everything we would have needed and more. Looking to rent in the Sands , this penthouse unit would be the perfect place. The loft was great. too!

This condo was roomy and easy to stay in.
Kitchen - coffee maker for a pot and Kuerig for cups. They had a wonderful appoint of K cups to choose from. All appliances were great to use. Ice maker was handy. I appreciated having several Tupperware type containers for leftovers. Several seasonings left. Nothing in fridge…which was fine.
Beds were comfortable. Fitted Sheet on ours didn’t stay on…again…not a big deal. There is a big sliding door between master and living space. Really opens up the view. The upper bedroom stayed a bit warmer…however…fans were great. Second bedroom downstairs has a door to give them privacy.
View was awesome! We brought binoculars. We could see whales every day. Turtles only the last day. Waves were a bit rough most of our stay. Hot tub was HOT! Which we love. Second hot tub by kids area was a bit cooler…still great!
Plenty of towels…and having laundry detergent and dryer sheets helped us rotate through the beach towels.
The wagon, cooler and beach chairs were nice to have.
Miso Phat was across street - rated highly for sushi. Nice to have little market across street also. The restaurant/bar on property was convenient.
Bus goes by the property…just didn’t run late enough for us to use.
There is a farmers market a few miles away on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
On the day we arrived…west Maui was experiencing a water shortage…so water pressure was limited for a day or so. Not bad…and there was nothing that could be done. We survived and were happy we had AC!
Parking was plentiful and close to elevator.
We had a lovely celebration in a lovely condo. Thank you Cindy!

This was a great property! There were 6 of us in total, 2 parents and 4 adult children (21-25) It was stocked with everything we could need, including things to take into the ocean. The view was amazing! We were able to see turtles and whales by just stepping on to the veranda. The complex had a concierge service which was unexpected and so wonderful to use! If I had to find one thing wrong it would be the lack of privacy. There were no real doors on any of the rooms (including the bathrooms). Everything was a sliding door which didn't close completely. Other than that, I TOTALLY recommend this property.

The property is just as advertised and the pictures do not do it justice. Stunning views from inside the condo and multiple balconies. I saw turtles from the balcony. Well equipped kitchen and fun closet with games and toys. I liked having the washer and dryer. All laundry supplies included. There was plentiful parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Six adults ranging in age from 50 to 79 here in Maui for 8 nights to celebrate a couple of birthdays and anniversaries. The condo was clean and well equipped, with a closet full of beach supplies and everything you could need in the kitchen. The 3 walk in showers were very nice. I’m a big guy and there was plenty of room. The pool and beach are just a short walk from the elevator, and my elderly father with mobility issues had minimal problems getting around the property. The restaurant on site is convenient, but a little underwhelming with so many other options for dining within a short distance. The downstairs king bed could use an upgrade, but otherwise this was a great space for 3 couples or a large family. The views from the lanai off the living room are spectacular and a nice spot to start and end each day. The AC and ceiling fans kept the unit cool, and a washer/dryer in the unit was convenient. We enjoyed our stay in this unit at the Sands of Kahana.

Our family of 7 booked this property two weeks before COVID hit and postponed the trip. Needless to say, we were excited to finally arrive. The property and surrounding area were beautiful. The owners were in contact prior to arrival and answered any questions we had. There was more than enough room and the new renovations were gorgeous. The location was perfect as it is a short drive to beautiful beaches and restaurants. This was our third time on Maui and everyone agrees that this was by far the best placed we have stayed.

What a great find! The condo is so roomy and the kitchen so well equipped. Space for everyone to do their thing; sleep late or get up early to watch the rainbows while having coffee on the deck. Before arriving I was just a bit concerned about our just turned 3 year old grandson, being on the 8th floor, but once seeing the safety of the stairs and the deck we had no worries. The location is great as well as it is just a quick drive into Lahaina or to Kaanapali or Kapalua for dining. The owner made sure to get in touch to see if we had any questions or concerns, of which we had none. Very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo.

Only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is A/C is loud in the unit and it could use a few more minor upgrades, with that said I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Our first visit to Hawaii and this place did not disappoint! My family of five (three daughters ages 16, 14, and 4) all were amazed and so excited when we first walked into this beautiful condo. It was everything we hoped it would be and more! The entire condo is clean, fresh, and airy. The view is top-notch. We saw whales and sea turtles daily. We throughly enjoyed the beach, pool, kiddie pool and hot tub. We also appreciated the pool toys, beach equipment, and large supply of nice towels. We had several meals at the restaurant by the pool but also enjoyed grilling our own dinner while looking out at the Pacific Ocean. It was a dream vacation and was really hard to say goodbye! Cindy was always timely, friendly, and professional with all communications and we are so thankful she shared her Maui home with us! Mahalo! And we can’t wait to come back someday!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with the breathtaking views! The condo had plenty of space for our family of 5 and my daughters boyfriend, now fiancee after this trip, to gather together or have space to be on our own. Everything we needed was provided for us including plenty of beach essentials. Cindy was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We had multiple flight issues! We really enjoyed snorkeling at local beaches, The Road to Hana, and our favorite was surf lessons at Royal Hawaiian. We loved exploring but would have been content relaxing at the condo! Overall....loved this place. Wish I owned it!

I will highly recommend staying at this property. This home far exceeded our expectations. From the beginning our property owner Cindy was so warm and welcoming with updates leading up to our stay. On the day off she called to make sure everything was in order. From the moment we walked through the entrance we were so amazed with the stunning views of the ocean. This place was so homey and had everything we needed in place. The location was perfect with one of the islands best sushi joints right across. The private beach area in front of the property was perfect with all the out door equipment you need. We enjoyed some breathtaking sunsets and early morning walks along the beach. Simply put I could not have asked for a better place to spend my bday family getaway. I will look forward to returning to this location again sometime in the near future. Thank you Cindy!

We loved our stay here! Communication with Cindy leading up to the trip was top notch and she had a lot of great recommendations of places to eat, things to do, etc. The location was perfect for our family with a 1 year old. We could go down to the pool or beach for an hour or two and then back to the condo. It was a 20 min drive to most of the places we wanted to go. The condo was very well stocked with everything you could need! The only thing is I wish there were more of was spices, oils, etc but probably because of Covid everything has to be thrown out.

Liked the View but only one bed room and living room. Always warm upstairs or cold down. Printer didn't work neither did spa tub. Mostly cloudy but not so 2 miles down the road. Master suite really did not have the view the ad gives the impression of and air con is right there! Also beach is eroding not much there at high tide.

Snorkel gear, boogie boards, cooler, wagon, beach chairs, etc. Close to many great beaches and snorkel spots in Napili and an easy drive to Lahaina for shopping and eating. Highly recommend!

With its spacious layout and separate rooms and bathrooms, we were all afforded a certain level of privacy while also having room to hangout and cook together. Our family of 7 enjoyed the spacious condo with three private master suites. The kids pool was perfect for our toddler. We used the wonderful assortment of beach equipment and toys on the property and at nearby beaches. We loved being in a quieter section of the island, with easy parking and access to everything Maui has to offer. The condo has the best equipped kitchen, beautiful furnishings and breath taking views from every window. Thanks Cindy for everything!

Amazing, amazing, amazing - it doesn’t get any better than this penthouse condo! We walked in and were thunderstruck by the ocean and island views! It feels as though you are floating above the ocean from almost every room and the sunsets were the best I’ve seen - vivid pink and purple sunset tones with both Molokai and Lanai in full view. This place is really huge - 3 bedrooms and three baths with each bedroom a suite of it’s own and even an upstairs second mini-kitchen. Our group of 7 was really comfortable and we never felt at all crowded. We’ve rented a lot of condos and houses in Maui over the years and this one is tops- Spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishings, kitchen with gourmet equipment, blackout tropical woven shades on the windows and Maui-made soaps, shampoos and lotions. The beach closet was full of great stuff to use at the beach, plenty of towels, beach towels, extra sheets, etc.
What more could anyone ask for? Added plus- the owners, Cindy and Bill, are delightful to work with and patiently answered all our questions about Maui, activities, restaurants, etc., even though the binder they provide for guests in the penthouse is extensive and up to date.
We enjoyed the casual restaurant in the resort (macadamia nut pancakes for breakfast —Mmmm!), workout facilities, put-put golf and sand volleyball court. We ran out of time to try the tennis and basketball courts, but you can’t do everything! The location is right between Kaanapali and Kapalua and is much less crowded than those areas, with quick hops to either area for restaurants and activities. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance - we liked Dolly’s Pizza and the great sushi place across the street. Oh- at least two farmer’s markets within easy walking distance too.
We hated to leave and we will be back as soon as humanly possible!

What a beautiful place to stay in. The condo was beautiful, clean and had breathtaking views. The amenities that were already there as well as the available beach items at our disposal made the vacation relaxing and enjoyable. As my son said when we got there, "why did you have to rent such a beautiful place? I might not want to leave the condo."

We are a family of 4 adults and 3 older teens. The condo was a perfect fit for all us. The kitchen was well equiped. There were plenty of beach towels, and beach toys. We used the beachside Sands of Kahana gas grills for cooking when we weren't eating out. Those that snorkeled saw turtles every time. Those that didn't could see the turtles from the lanai. We also saw whales breaching and spouting! Everyone in our group agrees we will be coming back again!

We just spent 2 glorious weeks in your beautiful condo and really didn't want to leave. We had a very long day - arrived at the condo and found it to far exceed our expectations. The rooms are so spacious and have very nice furniture. It was a big plus having 3 bathrooms! The double sinks in each bathroom, plus having the toilet and shower separate, were great features also (really nice big showers)!! The view from the lanai(one of three) was spectacular - every evening we enjoyed gorgeous sunsets and watched the big sea turtles swim very close to shore. The water was calm so paddle boarding for my granddaughters was great. The grounds are well kept and not overcrowded. We have stayed on all the Hawaiian islands and by far our best choice yet was choosing Bill and Cindy's condo!! I would come back here in a heartbeat! This unit is so well stocked with everything you might possibly need. Lots of towels, beach towels, linens, etc., and some kitchen appliances that I don't even have! We searched for quite awhile before we decided to stay here and I must say it was the BEST decision we could have made. Being on the eighth floor and in a corner unit facing the ocean is unbeatable. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room throughout the condo. Bill and Cindy Vinson are wonderful people to work with - very prompt on replies to e-mails and even called once we arrived to make sure everything was okay. Great owners of a great condo! I HIGHLY recommend staying here - you most certainly won't regret it! Very convenient location on the West side of Maui. We will certainly stay here again!!

I have just finished a seven day stay at this magnificent condo in Kahana Maui. I have extensive experience at multiple properties on all of the islands of Hawaii and I have to say this condo is the Babe Ruth Home Run....this is the best of the best!!!!! It just can't get any better.
It is a large comfortable home with the perfect view and the perfect lay out. The kitchen is fully equipped with whatever a cook or chef might need to create a wonderful meal..and there are multiple BB stations on the property. The beds are comfortable and each room permits a wonderful serenade of the sound of the ocean. The home has all of the ocean gear necessary for a fun time on the beach. The beach here is dozens of times better than that of the Ritz down the road and better than most beaches you will experience on the island. I tried snorkeling, spear fishing, and kayaking, while others were surfing (a bit out to sea) sail boarding,and doing other ocean sports. It is a great home for a family get away and or a get away for couples and /or friends It is an easy drive to golf courses, other beaches, and to multiple restaurants a island shopping. It is convenient to all island adventures and a pedestrian friendly area also! The complex is sophisticated and quiet. You will be able to relax, decompress and have whatever adventure suits your heart. Bill and Cindy have been thorough, direct and professional in all of their dealings with me.
There is a difference between a flower and a Gem. This condo is a gem. Don't pass up the opportunity!!!
