The view was better than I expected.The bed was exceptionally comfortable.We didn't utilize much of the kitchen for cooking but we did enjoy it lots of cups of coffee on the patio. I would absolutely recommend this particular unit and I myself would absolutely come and stay here again.

This condo was perfect for our week long stay! We were just a short walk to the beach and the views from our patio were breathtaking! Having a fully stocked kitchen and full size fridge was great for cooking meals at home. Grocery store and restaurants less than a mile away and easy enough to walk. There was plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, and snorkeling gear for our use. The property had an onsite laundry room, so no need to over pack, if staying for an extended time. Would definitely stay again!

Thank goodness for the AC in the bedroom, because it is humid in May! We loved our stay here, even though we weren’t at the condo very much. You do hear the people above you, but for the most part it’s quite! The turtles at the lava rock beach are the icing on the cake!

Our stay at Unit 411 in Kuleana was nothing short of amazing. The location is everything you could hope for—being oceanfront, you can hear the waves gently lapping against the shore while sitting on the lanai enjoying dinner or your morning coffee. The sunsets from the lanai are absolutely breathtaking. Although we had some rainy weather and only caught a couple of truly great sunsets, it didn’t take away from what was an incredible experience overall.The unit itself is very well maintained, clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Maui. It’s just steps from a beautiful, well-kept pool, and a short walk around the corner brings you down to the beach, where we were lucky enough to see turtles many times.During our stay, we did encounter a few minor hiccups, but Robert was always quick to respond, and everything was handled smoothly and without issue.I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a stunning location. At the end of the day, it really is all about location—and this one is outstanding.Thank you, Robert and Sharon, for sharing your condo with us. This condo has the most jaw-dropping view! It’s nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The tv’s and small kitchen appliances are very old…toaster quit working, neither tv would work (not that we watch tv on vacation, but at night would have been nice.) But those were small inconveniences compared to the location of this unit. The pool is fantastic and grounds are beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts are great people, the amenities are excellent, everything you could need. The grounds are beautiful, the views from this unit are priceless. Kitchen is stocked with just about everything! The bed is cozy, as is the couch and chair. Not that you will spend much time there. The pool is soooo nice, clean, and you can get laps in. This unit is a homey place away from home. Best beach view and location.

My husband and I have stayed at this resort about a dozen times. The first time in this unit. It was very clean, easy access from parking lot, great views and owner was very responsive. Location is in a great spot. No beach this time around but the beach is seasonal. Had a great time and will definitely be back.

The unit was right on the ocean. It is not a swimming beach but home to turtles and close to the whales. The unit was very clean and in very good shape. I think the mattress could use an upgrade but other than that everything was perfect. The location was excellent, the pool was wonderful and we had a dishwasher and laundry unit in the condo. Very convenient.

Everything was just like advertised. Ideal location. Friendly people. Beautiful pool area. We watched the whales jump from our patio which was amazing. The grounds were well maintained. Regretfully the weather was rainy and cloudy. The resort area had 56 inches of rain in March. Hopefully Mother Nature will be more cooperative next trip.

We loved our stay at this property! We especially loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view of the ocean. We even were able to see some humpback whales swimming by, the baby doing full breaches over and over, right from the balcony. Absolutely magical! The kitchen was well stocked (we cooked several times). The bed was comfortable. There was even a diffuser for the hair dryer ( a big deal when you have curly hair). Laundry facilities came in handy after a rainy trip to Hana and muddy wet clothing. We hope we get to stay again!

Yes, we did have a nice ocean view and I absolutely love the pool. The one thing I didn’t like about my unit was it did not have a stove and also there’s no common area we had 10 people, and there was no place for all 10 of us to eat we had to drag tables and chairs out of the condo to be able to even fit 10 of us. There’s no tables by the barbecue. There’s no tables by the pool except for little ones that you can put like a drink or your suntan lotion on I’ve never been to a pool where they didn’t have any umbrellas. Everybody was trying to get this one little tree that had like four chairs in the shade. They need to have larger tables with an umbrella, so people can sit out there and visit instead of having to sit in the condo was ridiculous. I’ve never been to all the condos. I live on the big island. I’ve been to so many condos here and in Maui and I’ve never not seen larger tables out by a pool and never have. I never seen any place for a group of people to get together to enjoy a nice dinner. That’s my biggest complaint. They have this nice grassy area they could do something with and it just sits there with nothing on it.

The unit is so darling and is in the most lovely location! Right outside the lanai is a Honu sanctuary. The unit was very comfortable for my daughter and I. The king bed in the bedroom was comfy and had A/C. My (23yo) daughter slept on the pull out sofa to listen to the waves every night and she said it was comfortable.The ONLY real criticism would be, the floors needed to be MOPPED. Our feet were kind of grungy walking around barefoot. Everything else was clean.

This condo lived up to its location, layout, and amenities as described. The condo was clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated. The comfortable king size bed and bedding were certainly appreciated.The Kuleana resort, overall, is a special property offering its own unique and tranquil environment. The only inconvenience of this stay was having only one key for two people which lets you into the property and the pool. This left no room for autonomy, both entering the pool, and leaving the resort independently. While the property management was professional and quick to respond they were unable to rectify this. It could be fixed by providing two keys.
