Everything about this place was wonderful. This was our first time at this property but our second stay on Maui, and it was even better than our first.
The location is even more beautiful than the pics. The condo was perfect for us. We stayed 15 days and enjoyed every minute.
We especially liked the small private access beaches. We saw lots of turtles. The gas grills overlooking the ocean were always clean. We cooked a few times at sunset.
The pool was tended every day, the landscaping is immaculate and parking was easy.
The owner is easy to contact.
Our condo was easy to cool and we only ran the bedroom a/c at night.
Our family visited and stayed on the same property but at a different condo. Theirs was nice but not as nice as ours.
We highly recommend this condo.

The unit was just as advertised. The perfect place for a couple to stay! Unit was clean and we had no issues throughout. We were able to walk over to a small beach and just a short drive to Kaanapali and Lahaina! Would recommend.

A little home away from home in turtle paradise! We enjoyed cooking a few meals in the little kitchen and then walking down to the beach to see how many turtles we could spot. Each day, at least 1 turtle came up on shore to hang out and we saw several more swimming around near the rocks. I was in heaven!

The condo had a nice Hawaiian feel, with a beautiful view of pool, tropical garden, and the ocean. It was cool enough to leave the Arcadia door to the spacious balcony open at night, (with a fan). It had convenient kitchen amenities, as well as pool and ocean gear. -Thank you Debi! The amazing garden outside was an intimate, romantic path to the ocean, leading to a big grassy area, and bbqs to grill from -while watching the picturesque Maui sunset. We played some shuffleboard in the nice Maui mist, and kids and I experienced snorkeling with some fish and seeing turtles also. Boogie boarding was fun also. We’d definitely go back!

Super easy location with parking available. Everything we needed was provided, including beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, etc. Comfortable accomodations with a nice view of the heated pool and water. Kuleana is a lovely and quiet property with an air of civility that is refreshing. No parking fees and access to the poll and extensive grounds is keyed and gated. Our unit was clean and had all that we required. The AC was strong enough to cool the entire unit when required. All in all this was one of our best VROB experiences.

The property needs updating for the bedding, pillows, and comfort items. Also needs an air conditioner in the main living area as there was not much breeze in sliding door area. The parking spaces are tight to park, not owners fault. Nice location and pool. Back beach area was beautiful and relaxing. Owner was a good host and very responsible to rent from. We did have a wonderful time!

We had a blast at Debi’s place. Great location between Kaanapali and Napili. Pool is large and was super clean. The grounds are well maintained with lots of our favorite tropical plants and trees. Definitely recommend this spot for your future vacation needs!

This was a great unit for us! We crashed hard each night after full days of playing. I loved the lanai best, especially in the morning to gaze at the ocean and admire the tropical beauty before setting out for the day. The washer and dryer were very helpful too! The shower upgrades are quite nice, and we made good use of the kitchen.

This was our 20th anniversary, so we were looking for a place to relax and enjoy the serenity of Maui. This is exactly what we got! The space is small, but it is well kept with all of the necessary amenities. The grounds and ocean views are stunning, and the host was very easy to communicate with. If we return to Maui, we will look for this unit again!

This property was amazing. It was very clean. The kitchen had all the staples (silverware, plates, etc…). There is a nice view of the ocean and surrounding islands from the lanai. During the day there is some noise, but at night it is overall very quiet. The beach is small, so it isn’t crowded. The location is really close to whalers village and close to route 30. Overall this was an awesome place to stay!

Complex is oceanfront, this unit is ocean view. Self check in and picking up parking pass seamless. Unit was nicely appointed, bbq and grounds were great! Bed very comfy, nice bonus to have deck box full of beach toys and chairs also having a washer/dryer! Spent every evening enjoying the natural beauty we know Maui to be!
Couple items that were discussed with the owner, need attention would be updated kitchen accessories/cookware, air conditioner too loud to use and did not cool at all. Debi informed us kitchen items would be updated, air conditioner has been ordered, not yet recieved. Overall still a good stay!

Pros: beautiful tropical landscaping, easy access to snorkling, and mellow surfing, turtle viewing, blender for tropical cocktails, responsive host and easy check in
Cons: there is only a "partial" ocean view from the balcony as there is a building between this unit and the ocean, some traffic noise from street, the pool is below the lanai/balcony and was noisy at times, no sandy beach at this complex just lava rocks next to the ocean. Overall good value for the price!

Great customer service. Nice little condo with a beautiful pool, very little beach access, it is better to drive a little bit for nicer beaches. Beautiful sunsets and ocean views from the deck. There were also boogie boards, snorkel gear, and a couple of beach chairs in the condo, which were very nice to have. A/C is a wall unit in the bedroom only, but if you open the front door with a screen you get a nice breeze through the place. Nice newer refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove for making your own meals. Close to gym, market and restaurants. Overall a nice place to stay for your visit to Maui.

If I absolutely had to pick something to complain about it’s that the AC unit in the bedroom is pretty loud. Even with that, you can’t go wrong with this place.

Owner worked quickly to rectify a failed appliance (dishwasher) and accommodated our request (make sure there is a draining rack) while awaiting a new dishwasher installed the bext day. Stayed here during part of our stay in Maui and it was incredible. The view from the balcony itself warrants 5 stars. And the pool and beach access were amazing. The property owner was very responsive and the apartment was very clean, well stocked, and had a washer and dryer - which was extremely useful. A few downsides: the lack of AC in the living room (the sun gets pretty brutal in the summer), the bed isn’t the most comfortable, and the WiFi signal is pretty weak in the bedroom. But again, these things are nullified by the great views as well as the great beach and pool access. We stayed at another (similarly priced) property during the second part of our stay in Maui and it paled in comparison to this one. All things considered, the stay here is well worth it. High highly recommend!

My husband, 17 year old daughter and I stayed here for 11 days, in early June, and it was amazing. The condo was small, (but I knew that going into it). It had everything we needed and worked perfectly for us. I was a little worried that it only had air conditioning in the bedroom, but we ended up not even needing it-opened up the doors and window and there was an amazing breeze. Debi, the owner, was awesome and easy to communicate with. The location of this condo is perfect. Right in between Kaanapali area and Kapalua. The complex is peaceful. If you're looking for a big resort with bars and restaurants, this isn't the place for you. The pool is big and very clean. The best part is the snorkeling. Tons of turtles and lots of fish!!! Some days it was a little rough and we couldn't snorkel, but the days we could, we were so happy we did. At one point my husband was swimming with 7 turtles. We spent a lot of money on a snuba/snorkel boat tour to Molokini, saw 1 turtle and a few fish-should have just stayed at the condo. We are so happy we found this gem of a property! Can't wait to visit again.

Kuleana condo is great- we saw the sunset everyday in front of condo, swam with turtles just in front of snorkeling ladder.
Picked Plumeria everyday- put on lenai table.
Everything was perfect. Used the washer and dryer everyday we came back from ocean.
Parking is just behind the building- no noise from the road- very quiet at night.
Condo is very nice the photos don’t do it justice. Definitely recommend to everyone!!!

If it’s just you and your partner or a small family this is a perfect stay!!! It’s a beautiful view and easy access to many beautiful sites! We were minutes away from awesome snorkeling and were able to do the road to Hana and back within the day! We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the property was memorable. A vacation like this in the middle of covid was stressful getting to our destination. After arrival at our destination things got much better and very relaxing. This property is in a great location and has all the amenities that anyone would need while visiting maui. However, the condo needs a little updating such as, new bed, new couch, and a thorough cleaning and painting.
It is a diamond in the rough and with a little TLC would certainly be a five-star condo.

The kitchen condo was well stocked when we arrived. The pictures of this condo need to be updated as it is much nicer than it appears on the VRBO website. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The space was much cleaner than the other rental we stayed at in the Kuleana last year through Harris Hawaii, which had crumbs on the kitchen floor. Great to have in suite laundry since we worked out every day. The grounds are impeccable and the other renters/owners we met at the property were so nice. One small complaint is the Beach chairs, which were the stiff, cheaper kind that don't recline. We didn't even bother bringing them because they were uncomfortable. An upgrade to the Tommy Bahama ones would improve the Beach experience. We would recommend this rental and would stay again.

This unit is very comfortable with nice view of the ocean and the pool. The pool is Olympic size and the best we have seen on the island for laps and just floating. The grounds are amazing and well maintained. Although there is no beach in front of the complex, there is one adjacent with easy access. Turtles often come onto that beach to sun themselves. We were surprised that there wasn't a beach umbrella and that the beach chairs were small and uncomfortable. We left beach mats, swim noodles and a yoga mat for others to enjoy.

Property was clean, all daily essentials and then some were included in the unit. The location is very convenient with Lahaina, Ka'anapoli, Napili and Kapalua no more than a 10 minute drive. Debi was a delight to work with as she was very responsive and quick to respond to any inquiries. We saw turtles daily both in the surf and one even visited us on the beach. We felt the unit was perfect for a couple.

This condo was perfect for us 🌺 The partial view was beautiful, the grounds are well kept & just about everything was about 10-15 mins away🤗. I must say the decorations (tiled floors, updated bathroom & kitchen, queen size bed, art work etc and the amenities of the condo (washer & dryer, cook wear, filtered water, beach chairs, boogie boards an much more) were great, everything we needed was readily available. Debi made the reservation process practically seamless. The grilling area was oceanside, the beach sand was soft (not too many rocks) and offered a perfect view of the surrounding islands 🌄 Within 5mins of walking the beach area we saw our first Green Hawiian Sea Turtle 😍🐢. It was amazing!!! We will definately be reserving this condo on our next Maui vacation☀️ 🍹🐳🐬🐡🐟🐠 ALOHA 🌺

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view was very nice. The air conditioner worked well in the bedroom. Bathroom was great and loved having washer and dryer right in the unit. We found the bed to be very hard. We are use to pillow top beds. Wish the fabric on futon a little softer to sit on. Thank you for sharing your lovely unit with us. Grounds were lovely.

My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed our vacation in Maui; the condo met all of our expectations being fully self-contained and being provided with everything you would need from beach towels to beach gear. The view from our balcony was spectacular, looking out to the beach and enjoying the perfectly manicured grounds and swimming pool. In particular we were grateful for the comfort the air conditioning in the bedroom afforded us during the warm, balmy nights. Working with Debi was a pleasure as she provided us with detailed instructions of where to find the keys, parking permit, etc.; overall a most enjoyable stay.

We've been to Maui many times and this is the first time we stayed some where other than our "usual" condo rental. We LOVED it and will certainly be back and hope it will be available. Very nice and clean, accommodating, comfortable, convenient and a pleasure to stay. The location is minutes from lots of fun areas and activities. We always enjoy meals on the lanai. The pool is great and right below the condo. Just a few steps from the beach

We decided last minute to make a stop in Maui on our recent trip to Hawaii. I found this condo while reviewing availability on VRBO. Debi was great to work with, quick to respond and spot on with all the information we needed. Having been to Maui before we were familiar with the general location of the property. We like the location as it's close enough to activities in Lahaina and Kaanapali but quiet enough for relaxation. The condo was spotless and very cute and comfortable. Debi has everything you need in the kitchen as well as initial supplies of paper products. So nice to have beach towels as well as the extra toys! The property is very nice and well kept including the pool area. The lanai overlooks the pool with a perfect view to the ocean. Sea turtles abound in the rocky area and the small beach area is great. Like having a private beach. We were traveling with a party of 4 - my husband and daughter and her boyfriend. The condo was a bit tight for us with 4 adults. No bad reflection on the condo. We stayed 4 nights. If I was staying much longer I might look for more room. I might suggest a couple folding luggage racks for suitcases. With a short stay we typically do not unpack into dressers and using the futon in the living area, we wanted to keep our clothes and things close by as we were up earlier than the kids!! This condo is a great choice, in a great small resort in a great location.

This was our first time in Maui and I think our stay was perfect. The Condo was a great size for two people. We enjoyed the full kitchen, the Lanai, and the washer/dryer in the condo. We had all the comforts of home. The best part though was the beach, view and grilling area. The beach had amazing snorkeling, in fact, I think some of the best on the island. We saw sea turtles every day and probably 25 kinds of fish. Debi had beach chairs for us as well as noodles, and boogie boards. The sunsets were fabulous. Every. Single. Night. The condo had great air movement so there was no need for air conditioning during the day. I would highly recommend this condo and our hostess Debi. She was professional, courteous, and kind. She provided us with ideas for outings and restaurants. We really appreciated her suggestions. She also had some very helpful guide books in the condo for us to use. We are crying with having to leave Maui after five spectacular days - our first trip to the island and loved everything about it. We did not really know what to expect but were delighted to find this condo in a quiet and relatively small resort about 10 minutes outside of Lahaina. The condo was perfect for my husband, daughter and I with a queen bed in separate bedroom and futon bed in the living area. The kitchenette is very well equipped and it was great to have laundry facilities which are located in the bathroom. It would have been tight if our adult son was with us but would be fine with another small child. The lanai was perfect and we enjoyed breakfast there everyday, overlooking the beach and pool area. The beaches are very private and nice - we got to see several sea turtles basking in the sun. We bought fresh Ono fish at the Fish Market (located a few minutes away) and used the grills that are located overlooking the beach - that was a treat! Although we did a lot of cooking at the unit, we had a couple nice lunches in Lahaina at Cheesburger in Paradise, Kimos, Maui Brewing Company (not in Lahaina) and Ono Tacos. There are several good grocery stores located within 5 minutes away so stocking up is not a problem. We did take the road to Haleakela National Park to catch the sunrise and it was well worth the 3:00 am wake up for the approx 2 hour trip to the top of the volcano. Our daughter also enjoyed taking surf lessons with Maui Waveriders in Lahaina - she had such a great time here, I think we may lose her...Anyway, before we left, we were making plans to return next year and would be happy to stay in this condo and resort. Debi was wonderful to work with and extremely responsive to any questions I had.

This was our first time to Maui. The condo was in great condition with nice views of the ocean, pool and we could watch surfers and whales from the balcony.

The accommodations were perfect. The condo is well organize, very clean and equipped and a washer and dryer. The view was amazing. The grounds were as neat as a pin as well as being beautiful. The condo's location was close to many excellent restaurants as well as the quaint town of Lahaina. We enjoyed hiking and snorkeling. We loved watching the turtles.
We hope to return one day.

We wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our stay immensely. Your condo is nicely updated with an incredible view - it did not disappoint. The grounds are maintained to an exceptional standard with a beautiful beach on the south end of the resort, better than I expected. Very private too. I took the time to check out neighboring condos and none had grounds that could compare to Kuleana's. We loved watching the sunsets and saw manta rays and plenty of turtles and fish. The staff here are friendly and professional. I can't recommend Kuleana enough and we will definitely be back one day.
I did want to mention, the screen door to the lanai gets stuck and keeps jumping off it's track- it''s a bit finicky. Not a complaint, just wanted to let you know!

What an incredible family vacation spot! The condo is the perfect location, with the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, snorkel rentals, beaches, restaurants, and Lahaina Town within minutes. We loved swimming with the turtles and snorkeling right off the beach. We would definitely stay here again. We felt very at home during our stay. Thanks Debi for sharing your wonderful condo with us!
