The condo was clean and had a lot of things included such as laundry soap, beach chairs, umbrella, clean towels & the list goes on. The property owner included a wonderful book highlighting local foods, activities and answered questions about the property itself.
The property is a nice location between Honolua Bay (Fantastic place to snorkel) and Lahaina's Front Street.
***Downside*** (Not the property Owners Fault)
The down stairs neighbors smoke Marijuana constantly so if the doors are open the condo will get that smell throughout the rooms.

We have nothing bad to say and everything good to say! Lilly made it easy to check in, the condo was clean, and the lanai was the best! We had some rain but due to the lanai we were able to sit out, drink wine, and watch the whales! The pool area was very nice and the location great. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Lily for a great few days!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo! Great location with easy access to beaches, parks, retail and the Lahaina shops. The unit has been recently updated and was well stocked with everything that we needed during our stay. An added bonus was watching whales from the balcony and looking for turtles at the property shoreline. Will definitely book this unit again on our next trip to Maui.

Beautiful, quiet property in a perfect location for whale watching. We spent hours on the lanai watching them right in front of the property. The condo was perfect for the two of us and we hate to leave.

If it’s time for a new hobby in your life, this is the perfect place to discover that RELAXING is an underrated hobby! Sit on the lanai and take in the gorgeous views while doing little else but enjoying coffee or a snack. Ahhhh, maybe a dip in the pool or snorkeling off the resort beach, but the best is simply relaxing. The condo is tastefully decorated and has all that you will need to provide a great stay. Aloha.

We had a very relaxing time at your lovely condo. It was very clean and comfortable. It rained the whole time but we still enjoyed the warm pool and the whale watching was amazing from the lanai.

We saw sea turtles right off the beach out back of the property. Amazingly beautiful, close to town and everything you need as well as private.
Great spot, would definitely choose to stay here again. The owner was attentive, gave great information and was a pleasure to work with.

We have rented many, many homes and condos throughout the country. I have to say that this was one of our very top three if not number one that we have ever experienced. The pictures were beautiful, but it is even better in person. the accommodations, the little extras that Lily added to the condo, her decorating skills, they are amazing. And the view, wow!! you just have to experience it yourself! We cannot wait to come back. I highly, highly recommend, this condo on VRBO in Maui! Thanks for the memories. See you again soon! There are so many great things about this condo. It is the perfect size for two people and parking is very easy. The view is beautiful. The property is beautiful and well maintained, we loved watching the sunsets every night from the grass down by the beach. On our last night there we saw 5 turtles at sunset. We did not spend too much time in the condo since we were out exploring Maui every day but it was in a perfect location for all the must sees in west Maui, less than 10 min from Kapalua Bay and Honalua Bay. The only need for improvement would be in the cleanliness of unit, the cleaning could have been more thorough. While it was tidy overall and certainly looked prepared for our arrival, there were a few things that detracted from the enjoyment of the space: there were old coffee grinds in the coffee maker, the bath mats and the quilt on the bed were both dirty, so much so that we did not use the quilt. The shower had some mold on the floor and the glass was not cleaned. I found a few pieces of trash from the previous renter, like razor covers and plastic in the shower. Also, despite never wearing our shoes in the unit, the floors were dirty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the great view, location, and property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kuleana property. It started off slightly on the wrong foot when we arrived at the condo a little less than an hour before the 3 pm check-in. Our plane landed at 9:30 and we managed to kill a few hours getting some things for our stay and sight seeing. Since we had all our stuff in the rental car and did not want to leave it unattended, we decided to check and see if the condo was ready a little after 2 pm. There was no sign on the door, so I punched in the code and peaked inside. I saw the cleaning service and apologized. I said we'd come back later and closed the door. That's it. Within minutes I received a stern message from the owner reminding me that I had not requested an early check-in, etc. The cleaning service apparently reported us immediately after I closed the door! We waited until 3:02 pm and found the condo was ready. I understand the check-in rules and admit we checked on its availability 58 minutes early, but the response to the inquiry seemed a little harsh. I would suggest that the cleaning service post a sign on the door while they are cleaning to avoid these types of "interruptions" in the future. Other than that, our experience at the condo was awesome. The decorations and furnishings are excellent, and everything is well labled. We especially loved the view from the lanai! We ate all of our meals on the lanai looking out at the beautiful ocean view. My only gripe was the broken screen door to go out onto the lanai. It was off the tracks and we could never get it to work smoothly. It was difficult to open with one hand if you had a plate/glass in the other. The property is nicely landscaped and there are tons of sea turtles along the rocky shore in back. We also enjoyed listening to the residents blowing into the conch shells after every sunset. What a cool traditon!
This was a great place to celebrate our 30th anniversary and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a great vacation!

The views from our 3rd floor condo were breathtaking. Perfect view of the ocean and nearby islands. Easy drive to great snorkeling and other beaches. The local neighbors were welcoming and invited us to participate in the blowing of the conch shells at night for sunset.

This was a great place for the last three nights of our trip. It was close to the ocean, had a great deck/patio and was in a central location to where we wanted to be. The pictures reflect what you are actually getting with the view and kitchen and patio. The only comment I would make is that while the home is updated it is tight (narrow) especially with the homes decor. It can make some spaces like the hallway and bedroom feel cramped. For a few days or with two people - it is ok and Lily makes sure you have everything you need in the home so it is not necessarily a bad thing it’s just honest so that you are not surprised when you walk in. The stairs leading up to the condo are also narrow and make sure you don’t overpack or can lift your suitcases!!
Overall I would recommend and thank you Lily for sharing your home with us!

My wife and I had a great time in this 3rd story condo in a quiet complex. It was clean, comfortable, and location was great. a 5-10 minute drive north to the best snorkeling in my life (Honolua bay) and 10 minute drive south to Lahaina for restaurants and shopping. I have to say the highlight of the stay was sitting on the deck watching the whales in the ocean while drinking coffee, or the amazing sunset, all with an unobstructed view. I can't recommend this place enough, we island hopped for 3 weeks and this was easily my favorite place.

There is so much more good than bad with this condo. The condo is updated and clean and has all you need for an enjoyable stay. We just got home from a 15 night stay and we already miss morning coffee out on the balcony. This little slice of heaven is as described and perfect for two people.
My only suggestion… the kitchen is outfitted with all that a guest could ever need except for a place to store food. We made space to get things off of the counter but maybe clear out a shelf in a pantry?
My one big complaint was the neighbor downstairs, whom I assume is a resident, smokes pot quite often everyday. It was unfortunate that the smell was always drifting into the condo from the front door to even when we were sitting outside it came though from the back door. If this doesn’t bother you, then this place is perfection.

The view is exactly as it appears on the listing. It is very relaxing to have your morning coffee on the balcony. Bathroom and kitchen were nicely updated (bathroom sink is a bit tall, I am 5'8") Owner gave very thorough instructions. It was a bit smaller than I thought, but fine for two people. 10 minute drive to Lahaina.

We loved our stay in Maui! The condo was like a home away from home with a fantastic view from the balcony. The gardens are beautiful the pool is large enough swim laps if you like. First i want everyone to know this is a real time review..lillys unit is just as it was explained and pics dont begin to show the full beauty of the view from the lani...did we see whales???hello we were here from nov.19-28 we saw whales breach,tail slaps,and spouts the whole time and that was just from the Lani...no beach sand to speak off but there is a sliver of sand on back left of property...but there again that was in the description..snorkleing was amazing no need for a tour...pool was cleaned and maintained every morning...and property is lush,plush and oh so sweet...if i hade 1 negative it would be that we didnt stay longer...seriously you will not be disappointed...thanks lilly we will be back and send our family next year for sure...

We booked with Lily Oct 2020 and due to covid shut downs we had to delay our trip to this year. Lily was very accommodating with our situation. We’ve heard horror stories of people losing out on deposits or the whole cost of the trip, but Lily made everything very easy.
As for the unit and property itself, we could not have asked for more! The unit has been remodeled and is in immaculate condition. Easy access to the pool and small semi secluded beach where we saw plenty of sea turtles. While we did get out and explore the island, we also spent hours out on the lanai taking in the amazing ocean views. The sunsets were unbelievable!
To sum it up, we highly recommend trying to book with Lily on your next trip!

We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful & quiet. Mostly adults around the pool during our stay which contributed to the quiet environment. The secluded beach was a highlight. Only a handful of people used the beach at our same time. On our last night, we watched the sunset from the beach while sitting under a beautiful shady tree (no one else around) as the waves splashed our feet. So nice, very Hawaiian. The pool was perfect for lap swimming and relaxing next to it. Most nights, we ordered food to go from the local Fish Market and ate on the balcony watching the sunset. Fantastic view. Due to COVID restrictions, going out to dinner was limited but the balcony became our favorite spot for dinner. We had pizza one night, and fish most other nights. The condo had everything we needed. Of course, if air conditioning is a must for you, then think twice. But for us, it was perfect to open the two doors (as the owner recommends) to feel the breeze. The air conditioner in the bedroom was ideal for sleeping. The entire stay was just what we were looking for, relaxation. We've been to Maui many, many times, so we didn't need to run around. We just wanted to relax, and so we did. Thank you for the stay.

If you want to stay next to the prettiest beaches and best restaurants in Maui, then this VRBO is for you. Lily, the hostess, is a phenomenal communicator and her home has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. You have a beach view that you can enjoy from the covered porch or from inside. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed and an AC unit, so you can get restful sleep. The kitchen is stocked so you can prepare your own meals and cocktails, and Lily provides beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and plenty of towels so you can stay at the beach all day. When you get back, you’ll have what you need to shower afterwards and you’ll find plenty of hooks for you to hang bathing suits outside and your bath towels inside. Mahalo Lily!

This unit was amazing! Owner has everything labeled and laid out so most questions are answered with the material found in the unit but is also very responsive when reaching out for additional info/requests. Unit was nice, clean, has almost everything you need and perfect for two. We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets via the beach access near the offices and the view from the porch is also great! We saw several people out there snorkeling, kayaking and SUP. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful time , the space was beautifully furnished , very clean and we had everything we needed for our convenience . The host really thought of everything that will make your stay as relaxing as can be . There’s one air conditioner in the bedroom which we turn on at night when going to sleep, but if you pop the front door open w screen door locked , and the lanai glass door open, there will be a cool breeze coming in and out thru the living room and kitchen . There’s a beautiful sunset everyday when you sit by lanai , a perfect ending for each day, what more can one ask for 😊thank you so much , Lily for sharing your place !

My husband and I usually stay at one of the resorts in Kaanapali but decided to try a VRBO. We are so glad we did. The condo was beautiful and the location perfect! Great ocean view and a quiet little beach where we swam with the sea turtles every day. It was a very relaxing time and nice to be away from the crowds of people staying at the resorts!

This property is even better than it appears online. We would stay here 1,000 times over and truly is a little slice of heaven. It’s centrally located without the resort price. Amazing!
