It was our dream to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our children in Hawaii. It was so important to find the perfect place to stay…and we did it! This VRBO has everything. It’s beautifully maintained, very roomy, and right on the beach. The view of the sunset from the balconies is magnificent! Lisa, the owner, has thought of everything from beach toys to toothpaste to make for a comfortable, carefree stay. We definitely want to return to Hawaii and THIS is the place we want to stay!

We have stayed at the Sands Of Kahana several times as it is our favorite location in Maui. The unit has all the accommodations of home and has a beautiful view ocean front location. The owner was great with communication with several emails and even a phone call during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

This property was more than we ever could have imagined! It was fully stocked with everything we needed..and more. Lisa was the best hostess we have ever dealt with through VRBO. Her constant communication and quick responses made this vacation a wonderful experience. The kitchen is fully stocked including espresso machine, instapot, and high quality pots and pans. Boogie boards, beach toys, snorkel gear, coolers, and beach chairs were also available. We will definitely be back!

Million dollar view. Condo is spacious for our party of six. We really enjoyed having the pool and beach just a few feet apart. Location is excellent if you want to visit downtown Lahaina or the Whalers Village Mall. Owner Lisa was a joy to communicate with. Will definitely try to stay here again.❤️

We stayed the first week of May 2023. The condo is absolutely incredible and so is the host!!!!
We would rent this condo again in a heartbeat. Lisa was by far the best host we have ever worked with through vrbo. She had an incredible gift basket in the condo to great us. Then she took the time to call and see if we had any questions when we arrived. This is the most stocked condo you will ever find. Lisa has everything!! We went hiking and wanted to pack a picnic she had coolers to allow us to pack the picnic. We enjoyed the beach towels, beach chairs, volleyball, football, snorkel gear!!
It seemed like anything we needed Lisa already magically knew and had it available!!!
The condo it self it very spacious. We brought our college kids and they each had their own room.
The views from the balcony were breathtaking. We already miss having coffee in the mornings and watching the sunrise. The sunsets at night are also gorgeous!!!
The location has everything you need a pool, hot tub, restaurant and your own beach.
The condo really seemed to be centrally located for everything. We stayed in south maui last time. This location was so much closer to everything.

Lisa was extremely helpful by providing us with tons of information and suggestions. I cannot count how many emails we exchanged before our trip. We fully enjoyed the stay, the time we spent on the beach downstairs and the pool. Just a few minutes' drive to other beaches and attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Lisa's home and communication was wonderful.
The views are amazing. We love being so close to the beach sitting on the lania and enjoying coffee with our family. Her home is fully stocked with everything you need and more. She works hard to make sure you are comfortable even left us a beautiful gift basket. Perfect place for family vacation!

This was an amazing condo. We had a great time. While Lahaina Town & Kaanapali Beach were packed, our area & beach were crowd free. I can't say much for the restaurant on site but the actual unit was amazing with a view to die for. We would watch the sunsets from the lanai as well as seeing the whales playing in the water. Such a great experience. Unit had everything we needed & made our stay all the better. Lisa, the owner, was helpful & readily available to help when needed. Only criticism would be that the bed wasn't that comforttable & new pillows on the bed in the master bedroom would be helpful but we would most definitely stay here again.

Lisa was quick to respond to any questions we had. The condo was so beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. Our family stayed for several nights and it was difficult to leave. The condo was well equipped from sunscreen to snorkel gear. I would definitely stay there again.

First of all, the view of the ocean and beach from the main balcony is simply stunning!!! The water goes from an aquamarine color to indigo blue. There are large sea turtles occasionally swimming only 10-20 yards from the shore line. The beach is a very unique gold/brown/black sand that reminds me of walnut furniture! It really is beautiful especially walking a hundred yards to the south. The condo is very well equipped with beach towels, swim gear, toilet paper, plastic bags and wraps, etc. so you don't have to worry about buying those while you are in Maui. The water pressure in the showers was a little low but I think it probably is a water saver feature. There were two microwaves which was nice. Everything worked well. We set the AC at 74 which is the lowest recommended setting. It was ok during the day but a bit warm at night. The ocean breeze as well as the ceiling fans help keep the unit cool. There is a decent size pool with hot tub and bar that serves food right next to the pool. There are nearby restaurants and grocery shopping but prices are high as you expect in Hawaii. Beds were a little on the hard side. Would have been nice to have extra bath towels as we had to wash towels almost daily (we had 8 people) but we don't like to use towels more than once between washes. Communications with Lisa Alpine were very good and she would respond to questions very quickly. Make the trip up the coast 5 minutes to the Westin grounds as the views from the beach (about a 5 minute hike from the lower parking lot) next to the golf course are stunning. I highly recommend going to Haleakala volcano as the views of the cauldron and surrounding area are breathtaking. I also recommend taking the road to Hana and seeing the northeast part of the island (2 1/2 hour drive but it's worth it). The lush tropical vegetation, numerous waterfalls and bamboo forests with balls of leaves at the very top reminded me of something from a Dr. Seuss book. The area around the condo is not as heavily congested as Lahaina which was a big plus. I recommend eating at least once at Pacific'o on the Beach in Lahaina. Really good food right next to the beach with great ocean views! Also, if you make the trip to Haleakala, stop in nearby Kula at the Kula Bistro. Truly great pasta dishes and there is a charming country store directly across the street!!! All in all, I highly recommend staying at this property and hope to make it back some day soon!!!

As soon as we all walked through the door every single one of us said WOW., The condo was very spacious and clean and the view was stunning. We had coffee on the lanai every morning and a cocktail on lanai every evening to watch the whales and the spectacular sunsets. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some and there were lots of beach chairs and umbrellas and beach toys. The pools were heated and having the restaurant on site was a huge bonus. Lisa was a dream to deal with and gave us lots of helpful information to make our family vacation extra special. The welcome basket was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. We cant wait to return one day and for anyone thinking of booking this condo i would say hurry up , it truly is a 10 star place. Mahalo for sharing it with us. Lori and Family

This condo was perfect for our family. The owners thought of everything; we had everything we needed for the beach, the kitchen had anything we could want when it came to meal prep, there were books and games and tons of first aid stuff. The location was great, right on the beach. The condo was quiet, no neighbor noise. Lisa was a great host, giving us great tips and lots of welcome. We had a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this property with our three generational family (grandparents, adults and kids ages 1-7). Having a sandy, swimmable beach right downstairs was great. There were several restaurants in walking distance and many more within a short drive. The kids enjoyed the kids pool and family pool and the condo was stocked with everything we needed for the beach and entertainment. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed in this condo for nine glorious days! Everything in this condo is absolutely perfect! We thought that the condo looked amazing in the pictures, but the condo is even more spectacular in person! We didn’t think that would be possible, but it was! I could have stayed on the balcony all day looking at the view!
The condo is very spacious, extremely clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything that you could possibly need! We cooked a few days of the trip and we were so impressed that we had everything that was needed! All the equipment for the beach were great too!
We are from TX so we are accustomed to air conditioning, and the A/C was perfect. To top it off, the grounds were immaculately kept clean and the staff were very friendly.
I would be amiss if I did not mention the amazing condo owner, Lisa. She was so wonderful to work with and more than happy to help in anyway. We appreciated her for so many reasons! If you are hesitant to book, hurry up and do it because this has got to be the best condo on the island!

Can't properly express how pleased we were with just a post. The condo was fantastic, just as described. There is literally everything you would ever need in the condo. All we had to bring was groceries and everything else was there. The condo was spotless upon arrival, very spacious, and the views truly are ocean front and breathtaking . You walk in and immediately see a big bay window and ocean to greet you. Lisa was so easy to work with and the communication was seamless. It was my parents' and sister's first time in Maui and they didn't want to leave the property. 5 stars all the way. We will definitely be booking with Lisa again when we come back.

Just show up with your bags, this place has everything. Great location central to everything, cute little pool and beach area, with a restaurant and bar right there at the pool/beach. Comfortable beds and lots of space for everyone. Owner has ensured everything you need is here, including pool noodles, beach chairs, even sunscreen and stuff for burns!!

Where to begin? This condo had everything virtually any type of group could ask for. Tastefully furnished and very well maintained. Comfortable beds and couch, well equipped kitchen with a French press as well as the usual drip coffee maker, lots of beach equipment and updates throughout. It has stunning views from both lanais and all three bedrooms. Watch the sun set over Lanai and Molokai. Watch the sun rise over the West Maui mountains and the beautifully landscaped gardens. You can have it all in this condo. Lisa was very responsive to all of our questions and a joy to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return at the first opportunity.

My family of eight spent a week in this beautiful condo, and we were extremely comfortable. There were plenty of games and beach toys for my three year old Grandchildren to play with, and everyone loved the beach and pool which were clearly in view of the private lanai. Beause we had such a large group we ate in most of the time, and the well appointed kitchen and BBQ's made feeding the family a breeze. Lisa is a great owner which is apparent by how well appointed the unit is, and how responsive she was.

My family of four had a great stay at Sands of Kahana. We decided to try this location on the recommendation of family, and we were not disappointed. The condo was clean and seemed to be kept up very well. There was also a ton of beach toys, chairs, snorkel equipment, and other supplies that came in very handy. The beach made this spot cometely worthwhile - much better than nearby properties that have very small and/or rocky beaches.

We stayed for 7 days at this Condo. My Family of 3 and my cousin and her family of 4 (3 children under the age of 8). The Condo was so roomy, we never felt like we were on top of each other. They have thought of everything, this condo is so well equipped, all you have to do is purchase food and beverages. We rented snorkel gear for all 7 of us and snorkeled every day off the beach. There were beach chairs and tons of beach towels, beach toys for the kids and boogie boards. Amazing views from the balcony, we would sit in the morning and have our coffee and in the evening watch the sunset with a cocktail. The pool was great, with 3 kids, we spent most of our pool time at the kids pool, parents in the spa. This was my cousins first trip to Hawaii and we are already planning to be back in 2016. I would not stay anywhere else on the island. Thank you to Lisa!

This was an excellent 3 bedroom condo with lots of extra room. The owner was very patient with all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the rental. Beautiful views, high end finishes, made for a vacation to remember. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this rental as they have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable!

This is an awesome Ocean front unit. It's spacious, well decorated. We stayed for 6 nights and had a blast. the balcony is very nice. We had dinner out there most of the days. The kitchen was well stuffed, had everything (and more) that we could need. The owner even had plenty to water gears there, including several sets of snorkeling gears, tons of pool toys for kids. We had a blast there.
Lisa was so nice. Very responsive and flexible. Offered me late check out and was very patient in answering every of my questions.
Oh, last thing, we saw a sea turtle resting on the beach in front of the resort one day, and we saw about 10 turtles swimming and playing in the rocky are near the south end of the beach another day. It was awesome.
Highly recommended. Only suggestion if you stay there, don't leave any food out on the table or counter, it attracts ants. Didn't really bother us.

This condo was absolutely amazing, we were there for a 60th Birthday so 7 women in this beautiful condo, it is very spacious and worked well for us. We did some cooking in condo, every type of cooking utensil available everything was perfect! The view is beautiful overlooking the ocean, pool & hot tub right outside the condo. We rented a van, toured the island often during the week. Always happy to come back to condo and relax & watch sunset! I highly recommend this unit

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! The condo was Truly Very Luxurious,Spacious, and it had the most Amazing Views. The condo is located right on the beach and has all of the amenities you could need. The beach at our condo had spectacular snorkeling along with some surfing. We saw at least 10 giant sea turtles while snorkeling. There was shopping, restaurants, and stores within walking distance. The remodeling the owners have done is beautiful. It is breath taking when you enter. We were not there when the whales were, but you would have been able to see them from the gigantic window over looking the ocean. It was fully equipped with anything you could need from a huge bar, stocked kitchen, beach equipment, and toys, movies, high chairs, etc... for our young ones. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The condo was the best part of our trip!!!

We spent twelve wonderful days at the Sands of Kahana. Location perfect. Spectacular ocean front condo. (sunsets were awesome) It is a beautiful well equipped 3 bedroom condo. (You won't be disappointed) The resort had $5 breakfast menu specials from 7:30-8:30am & sunset dinner specials with 1/2 priced entrees. This made it very affordable and the food was great. We have stayed at the Sheraton and the Westin and we enjoyed the Sands of Kahana much more. Lahaina is just a short drive. Recommend seeing Burning Love at Lahaina theatre. Rate the resort and condo 5 stars!!!!!
