The pictures don't do justice to how amazing the condo is. You have amazing views of the pacific from all areas of the condo and especially the patio. What comes to mind is quality. The location, the views, the furnishings. We had such a great time. We saw sea turtles right from the seawall every day like 4 steps from our patio. We had poke every day from a general store that we simply walked to a block away. The patio furniture was high quality, the bed super comfortable. We played pickleball right in the complex and they even had pickleball and tennis eqpt to use. The owner and property manager were so accommodating and so prompt and thorough with communication. They also provided important extras that are so helpful like snorkel eqpt., beach chairs, umbrella. The space is organized so well you never feel crowded. We didn't do any cooking but everything you could possibly need is there. We would love to return!

The location of this condo was spectacular. The area was quiet and had many stores and restaurants within walking distance of which was nice. The one issue we had was the AC dis not work but it was not a big issue because you are right on the water and the breeze was plenty to keep us comfortable. The just tried to address but with the storms it was hard to get someone there to resolve. Very nice place would highly recommend.

We tried cancel the stay due to state of emergency for Maui, flooding, landslides and dangerous conditions, but host declined. Access to the property was challenging due to flooding (road in front of building floods). The checking in process was smooth. Unfortunately the place was not clean (which surprised me since prior reviews commented on cleanliness). Lampshades had layers of dust, rugs had stains, mildew in shower, kitchen cabinets and handles sticky/dirty. Screen door had a couple of rips, was rusty and poorly installed. Some kitchen towels and hand towels were clearly dirty.The local contact looked at the property, provided clean towels, and scheduled a cleaning the following day, which addressed most of the concerns.Positives: the view, vicinity to Napili, nearby grocery stores, on-site reserved parking spot, well stocked kitchen, items for beach, (due to weather conditions and warnings about poor water quality/bacteria, could not go into water).We didn’t check out the pool or laundry facilities, so can't comment.

Our stay happened to coincide with severe weather in Maui; our host and the property manager made a point of checking in on us to make sure we were okay. Minor issues with shower and screen door were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Well-supplied kitchen. Comfortable bed, linens, and (especially!) pillows. Overall excellent lodging experience, in spite of the weather.

Perfect oceanfront location with everything we needed for our stay. The bed is very comfortable, the appliances are plentiful, the shower terrific. The condo is within walking distance to some good restaurants. Beaches are close by and are free. The host has thought of everything to make our stay excellent.

Had a great stay at the property. Saw turtles and whales right from the lanai. Easy to find and is in a little less busy part of the island. Everything we needed was right there and easy to get to from our house.

We went to Maui at this time to see whales and were amazed at how many we saw from the lanai. One morning we counted 15, all showing off. The view of the ocean literally ocean front. We could look directly down from the lanai to watch turtles. Needless to say the sunsets were spectacular! The condo is cozy and very nicely appointed.

The room was perfect for 2 of us. Communication with the owners was great. The room had everything listed, plus some. There is a tower fan for anyone looking. There are also beach chairs, pool noodles, snorkel gear, a raft to blow up, rain and beach umbrellas, and beach bags. There are also binoculars and all kinds of charging cords in a basket on the shelf. Books, games, movies, cd's, and puzzles for potential rainy days. Lots of whale watching from the lanai during the season, the sea turtles are massive and there are so many! We had an amazing time and have recommended this room to several people already!

Great host and great stay. The place was perfect and the views were amazing. We were not in the tourist area (perfect for us) but were minutes away if we wanted to brave the tourist areas. We forgot our binoculars but luckily the condo had a pair. It has a full kitchen and a huge lanai. We wanted a place to relax and see the whales/turtles and we got all of that and more. Will definitely be back!

(Almost) Fantastic stay in Hawaii and this retal was GREAT. Host provided updates as requested and the information at the rental was very helpful. I'd advise anyone staying here to rent a small vehicle as the assigned parking spot is very narrow. The guest spots were what we used since we "upgraded" to a larger can so we could chaufer friends staying at a nearby hotel to avoid driving two care or always having them drive. Unfortunatly for us Mother Nature was against us and the weather was terrible for the first couple of days with this side of the island loosing power for over 24 hours. Also the Avis car we rented kept dying on us, but neither of these kept us from enjpoying the location and the last few days of our stay. Thank you and I'd book the place again if it only my wife and I going to Maui again.

Aloha from WI! Amazing location! The whale and turtle watching alone was worth it. Would definitely stay here again! It was quiet and comfortable, with plenty of places nearby to eat and explore.My only feedback would be I happen to agree with other reviews as the cleansiness could be a little better, especially the higher areas harder to reach. The ceiling fans happen to blow dust around and into the walls which was noticeable and may affect those with dust allergies. The coffee pot could use a good cleaning, better yet maybe even an upgrade with a bigger carafe to better accommodate 2 coffee drinkers. These are minor things and would not stop us from returning to this beautiful place and should not deter others from staying here either! Mahalo!!

This adorable home was perfect! The moment we walked in it felt like home. Clean, quite (well except for waves crashing on the sea wall which was so fun! )The home had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen was perfect, and the shower was fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay! The whale show was an added bonus for sure. My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this condo. The amazing view of the ocean, hearing the ocean waves, watching the sunset & watching the turtles eating daily from the Lanai was pretty awesome. The host was very easy to communicate with. The condo is a little small & dated but clean/comfortable. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Everything about the Mermaids Palace was wonderful. The bed is super comfy with gorgeous view to wake up. The unit is perfectly appointed with everything you need to cook in or go to the beach. We really appreciated that. We loved sitting on the Lanai watching whales breach and flap their fins every morning and at sunset. It's super close to South and North Kaanapali beaches as well as Napili and Honolua Bay. We loved the snorkeling at north Kaanapali beach so many turtles, moray eels and Rays. Wonderful stay in a wonderful unit.

We absolutely loved this condo. It’s very clean, updated, very comfortable, had absolutely everything we need and more. We made meals in the condo and grilled, too. Jim provided so much information pre-trip to help us plan. Charlie, the property manager, was very responsive to our questions. The bed is very comfortable, which is important to me since I have a permanent back injury. The condo is decorated beautifully, and its location is very convenient. We watched sunsets, whales and surfers from the lanai. We would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you, Jim!

The location was excellent with the views, sunsets and grounds of the condo. We were able to see Sea Turtles and Whales from the lanai. The grill and the kitchen amenities were great for cooking. We did have an issue with one of the appliances, which management responded promptly.

Absolutely Amazing Condo with Exceptional Responses. From the start, I received fast and friendly responses from the owner Jaime each time I messaged her. We walked into a condo that was Cool, Clean (and smelled clean!), Very Nicely Decorated with Ocean Theme, and absolutely Gorgeous View of the Ocean and the Islands. Even from the bed you can see the ocean. The balcony is such a wonderful place to eat your meals and so is the round dining table. The place is well stocked. I also liked that she provided hand liquid soap both by the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, as I dislike bar soaps to wash hands. Everything one needs to cook is available. Although, we did pick up a lot of Togo meals, as restaurants & groceries stores & even food trucks are nearby. I also really liked the welcome binder which provided information you needed and to me, which I’ve never seen at any rentals or hotels, is instructions where to go in event of weather disasters. So very important, especially where to drive to and what to do and take. I was going to take a pic of it but forgot before we left. Wish all owners & hotels would have this. It really shows how much the owners care for the well being of their guests. Btw, the sheets were very nice, much softer than the 5 star hotel we stayed prior week, and slept better in the bed at this condo. I highly recommend this condo. We will definitely book again but next time for a much longer stay. Mahalo Nui Jaime!

It was spectacular. I highly recommend this little piece of paradise. We saw whales blowing while you could also see surfers sitting in the setting sun as the waves were calming for the evening all right from our lanai. Very close driving distance to lots of beaches and malls. She said YES!
