My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this condo. The amazing view of the ocean, hearing the ocean waves, watching the sunset & watching the turtles eating daily from the Lanai was pretty awesome. The host was very easy to communicate with. The condo is a little small & dated but clean/comfortable. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Two things. During the week days, there were construction work being done on the complex. Second, my wife thought the bed sheets smelled like sweat. We had to change and clean them.

Everything about the Mermaids Palace was wonderful. The bed is super comfy with gorgeous view to wake up. The unit is perfectly appointed with everything you need to cook in or go to the beach. We really appreciated that. We loved sitting on the Lanai watching whales breach and flap their fins every morning and at sunset. It's super close to South and North Kaanapali beaches as well as Napili and Honolua Bay. We loved the snorkeling at north Kaanapali beach so many turtles, moray eels and Rays. Wonderful stay in a wonderful unit.

We absolutely loved this condo. It’s very clean, updated, very comfortable, had absolutely everything we need and more. We made meals in the condo and grilled, too. Jim provided so much information pre-trip to help us plan. Charlie, the property manager, was very responsive to our questions. The bed is very comfortable, which is important to me since I have a permanent back injury. The condo is decorated beautifully, and its location is very convenient. We watched sunsets, whales and surfers from the lanai. We would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you, Jim!

The location was excellent with the views, sunsets and grounds of the condo. We were able to see Sea Turtles and Whales from the lanai. The grill and the kitchen amenities were great for cooking. We did have an issue with one of the appliances, which management responded promptly.

Our stay at the condo was wonderful. The location is great and parking was easy in the assigned spot under the building. The apartment is very cute and cozy and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Maui.

Absolutely Amazing Condo with Exceptional Responses. From the start, I received fast and friendly responses from the owner Jaime each time I messaged her. We walked into a condo that was Cool, Clean (and smelled clean!), Very Nicely Decorated with Ocean Theme, and absolutely Gorgeous View of the Ocean and the Islands. Even from the bed you can see the ocean. The balcony is such a wonderful place to eat your meals and so is the round dining table. The place is well stocked. I also liked that she provided hand liquid soap both by the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, as I dislike bar soaps to wash hands. Everything one needs to cook is available. Although, we did pick up a lot of Togo meals, as restaurants & groceries stores & even food trucks are nearby. I also really liked the welcome binder which provided information you needed and to me, which I’ve never seen at any rentals or hotels, is instructions where to go in event of weather disasters. So very important, especially where to drive to and what to do and take. I was going to take a pic of it but forgot before we left. Wish all owners & hotels would have this. It really shows how much the owners care for the well being of their guests. Btw, the sheets were very nice, much softer than the 5 star hotel we stayed prior week, and slept better in the bed at this condo. I highly recommend this condo. It was spectacular. I highly recommend this little piece of paradise. We saw whales blowing while you could also see surfers sitting in the setting sun as the waves were calming for the evening all right from our lanai. Very close driving distance to lots of beaches and malls. She said YES!

The beach view from the lanai was incredible, breathtaking! The host was so informative with a lengthy email providing detailed information about all of the condo amenities and local area suggestions. The condo was equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs, umbrella, firm pillows along with soft pillow options, comfortable bed, beautiful, easy to access shower, lovely art to admire, and a telescope. We hope to be back and will definitely recommend this condo to our friends.

Beautiful little condo in a perfect location. I rated it a 4 only because of our circumstances. My husband is vision impaired and the lighting is sparce and not very bright. The throw rugs are trip hazards, both of which could be improved for the safety of all guests.

Great place and location. Such a wonderful place to see the sunset. Beaches, shopping, and dining are close. The place could be slightly cleaner—shower was not the cleanest and dishes needed to be pre-washed before being used. Amenities are great, including the pools, tennis rackets, umbrella, beach chairs, etc. Washers and dryers on property were really nice as well.

The view is gorgeous, the bed is cozy, all the amenities you need plus some extras. Really can't get better location for price than this! Gorgeous beaches are just a short drive away. Not overly touristy feeling or busy. Felt like home, so cozy. The art in the place is really cool to!Plus, the owner is super communicative with detailed emails with recommendations and helpful tips before your stay! The 'on-island contact' is friendly and very helpful as well! Our honeymoon stay here was everything we hoped for and more - and if we are fortunate enough to come back to Maui, this will be the place I try to book! Highly recommend.

We absolutely love the lanai! Bring a table cloth and enjoy your breakfast and lunches on the lanai with the nearly private ocean view (see pictures). Almost no foot traffic (very few people walking by each day). Maybe a little too hot and sunny for dinner. We didn't want to lower the shade as it looked like it hasn't been lowered in years. So we shut the patio doors, curtains and turned on the AC around 4-5pm each day. No table inside. We ate dinner on the couch each night. A couple of standing TV trays would be really nice (@Host :-)).Security - I was a little worried about security, being on the ground floor. The screen doors lock, but they slide, together, completely past the glass doors and allow easy entry, so not really locked. Thank fully, no problems at all. I ocean. But we opted for the doors being closed and the AC on. Read host instructions to by pass AC timers.Laundry Clarifications - This unit does not have laundry. The complex has a laundry facility across the street. The laundry room doors lock and we were comfortable leaving a load going and returning 30-45 minutes later. As of 07/2025 each load costs 5 (washer/dryer each 2.50). Plus you have to buy a laundry card for 10 (we taped the card to the keys for the next guest). We spent 30 on laundry over 10 days. Not ideal, but could be way worse. Bring your own laundry soap and dryer sheet to save money.The unit is perfect for 2. Will definitely stay again.
