A handful of issues. Microwave worked, then it didn't. Worked and it didn't. After monkeeing around, found that the outlet behind the frig only half worked. Had to run an extension thru the bath. Light above the sink was burnt out, but replaced by Charles. Nice guy ! Nice computer, but not hooked up to anything. Looking to turn on the TV, but there were 3 remotes. Really ! Got directions on my phone that said " do this and that " if that didn't work, try this. Either is works or it doesn't .How about a universal remote ? Charles took care of this. Great view, bed and pillows. Tenant above was horrible. Felt like they were coming thru the ceiling every step, Assigned parking spot was fine, as long as you liked to have your car covered in bird turd every day.

This place was perfect for my wife and I. It’s a basic condo with spectacular views. The way the property is designed, no other balconies can look into your balcony and you can’t see others! Only the ocean, rainbows, and Molokai! They have all sorts of cool art, a couple guitars, coolers, and while I didn’t cook much, all the kitchen gadgets you would need. Overall a great rental!

The location is amazing. We were right on the beautiful ocean and saw many turtles while just enjoying the lanai. It is a perfect location to enjoy the sunset on the ocean. The location felt safe, secure, and comfortable. Within a short drive we found great places to snorkel with colorful fish and relaxed turtles. The locals were kind and helpful. We respectfully stayed away from Lahaina but all the places we went were grateful for the business. The owner, Jim, has the place comfortably stocked and he provides a lot of useful information on the area. We will stay here again.

My wife and I took a trip to Maui as the first leg of a much longer trip. I had never been to Hawaii before. Unfortunately, the Lahaina tragedy took place between our booking the trip and the planned date. I cannot sing the praises of Jim, the owner, more. We went back and forth about whether to even go. He gave even and detailed advice about the tenor of the island. what was open and how people feel about tourists. He was spot on and we decided to go.
And we are glad we did. The property is great. It is just as it is pictured but actually feels larger. Immaculately clean. Great bathroom and shower. Well equipped kitchen. And then lanai is a great hang-out place. We even saw sea turtles paddling by. With the sliders open you can hear the surf all night long.
I love the neighborhood as well. Some hi-rise places, lots of low buildings as well. People walking. Shops nearby. Great coffee. A general store. What more do you need.
My wife and I both loved the place and the area. If you want a resort, this is not your place. But if you want a comfortable home for a stay in Maui, this is it.

The property had everything we needed and was exactly as described, We spent many hours out on the lanai watching magnificent sunsets or just staring at the water. It is walking distance to a couple of great restaurants that don't break the bank. Try Coconuts fish tacos! We would definitely stay at this property again!

Couldn’t ask for a better view. The condo was exactly as advertised, convenient location to the beach, restaurants and coffee. Short drive to downtown Lahaina. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great find.

Booking was a breeze. The prior day we left, the property manager - Charles - contacted us. Communication with him was excellent throughout our stay. The room was exactly as described. The views from the lanai were spectacular. Bathroom was very nice. The only noises you'll hear are the waves crashing and birds chirping. You are literally 25' from the ocean. If you rent a car, you have a private, convenient parking stall. Bed was very comfortable. There were several spectacular beaches within 10 minutes. The only negative about the room was that we had to leave.

Its cosy but we had a great time with a view of the ocean. We saw turtles at the wall and dolphins in the channel. If it were whale season im sure we would have seen them too. Had a great trip!

This place is amazing. Gorgeous view, close to the water. Watching the sunset and seeing rainbows off the balcony. There is a secret beach just barely up the road where at most we saw 4 people. The VRBO has a fully stocked kitchen, snorkel gear, beautiful bathroom. The bed and pillows are SOO comfortable. So comfortable that I took pics of the brands because i want them at home.
We’ll definitely be coming back to stay. Need more Miso Phat Sushi in my life!

Loved this property! Listing was as advertised. Easy check in and quick communication with host and property manager. It was well-appointed with everything we needed to cook our own meals. Nice Weber grill in the common-use area for big tuna steaks. It was a shirt to walk usable beaches but we were so close to Honolulu Bay and Slaughterhouse Beach (<10 min), we just went there all day. Close to good restaurants like Maui Brewing and Miso Phat sushi. 10 min drive to Safeway so stock up on your way in if you don’t want to go out often. Quite a drive from the rest of the island so plan your day trips ahead of time. Would 100% come back here. Thanks, Jim, for sharing your beautiful place.

Unit could be updated - needs some make over - electrical issues when plugging in hair dryer - unit was not as clean as would have liked - previous guests towels and sheets were left in hamper in bath. was not as clean as promised - floor was very dirty. Owner was accommodating - just had wished for a more updated unit that was cleaner - Best thing about the unit - the view !!!

The studio was not what my family was expecting. We guessed it was going to be two rooms and not a studio. BUT THAT WAS MY FAULT. However the place was really clean and super beautiful location. My wife and I will be back. It’s super romantic.

The location of this property can’t be beat! You can watch whales and turtles swimming in the ocean as you sit out on the lanai. Amazing snorkeling and breathtaking sunsets right in front of you. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The owner provided all the beach gear we could ask for and made for hassle free, fun filled stay. The owner and property manager were really easy to work with and made sure we had all the information we needed for a stress free arrival and departure. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Maui.

We island hopped and was at this location for only two days. There is a drop off with a wall in front of the building so no direct beach access. But they did have a nice book with tons of details made up in the room and the beach front is like a 3 min walk which was perfect. The view was amazing from the balcony. The towels were great and fluffy in the room. And was clean and we enjoyed the telescope and binoculars in the room. 1 out of 5 I would rate this place a 4 only due to the size and coffee would have been amazing to have stocked cause your a drive from town All in all we enjoyed our stay.

I have three reasons this was my choice in places to stay. First priority was the view and location to the water so we could hear the surf. Next was king size bed. (We prefer to stretch out.) and let me say, this bed was extremely comfortable! Finally, air conditioning.
We wanted to stay in a condo vs. a resort while on Maui since preparing your own food and limiting eating out can save you money. Although, if you like fish the way we do, it is hard to resist the fresh fish at local restaurants. So, we saved a bit by doing it this way. We went to the grocery store and ate light breakfast in the condo, along with a couple dinners.
This condo has all of the things you could want. It is up one small flight of stairs, but that wasn’t an issue. The owner and staff is very responsive to questions and we appreciated all the “extra” information that he gives in order to get the most out of your stay. The only drawback is most of the excursions we bought were located on the other side of the island where the airport is. So you have to plan for travel time in your rental car to get back and forth. Traffic can be daunting! It can take over an hour to get there and it is only roughly 25 miles. It is slow going. But who cares…. We are on vacation right??
The owner had beach chairs, a boogie board, beach towels, and books on things to know about Maui, games to play, even guitars and binoculars to look for whales. He even had a small portable telescope to use to look at the stars or go to the crater to see the night sky. As far as I am concerned that is above and beyond! The view and the sound of the surf was what dreams were made of!
Things we couldn’t control; the neighbors. We had a very drunken neighbor puking off his balcony one night woke us up from a dead sleep. Then the people above us (nobody below you) were related to elephants I swear! They stomped everywhere they had to go while in the condo. Those things are completely out of the owners control. They are things that may effect your stay.
All in all we would stay here again in a minute and give the overall stay a 9 out of 10.

We loved the balcony and sound of the ocean. Amazing view! Very private. We loved having the AC, fan, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed having the option of coolers, simple spices, beach chairs, and coffee filters available. We could tell the owner put a lot of care and love into this property. Good selection of DVDs and the contact was very responsive if we had any questions. Convenient location close to gas station, food places and amazing beaches. Great find, thank you!

This was an incredible experience from start to finish! From the moment we booked, we had excellent communication with the owner. He was very friendly and helpful. The property was conveniently located near beaches, stores, restaurants, and other necessities. The bed was comfortable. The view was breathtaking. We were also provided with an on-island contact in the event of an emergency. There was excellent communication during our stay when we had questions. The owner provided helpful resources in the condo (such as maps to the best beaches and nearby recommendations). As the title states, you can’t beat the whole experience! We hope to come back to Maui to visit someday. And when we do, we will definitely be staying here! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Beautiful view and great location! Check in was a challenge with an uncleanness condi a change in management with no available contacts except the recently terminated managers, unavailable owner and bad blood. We got a small credit. Grounds are great. Condo is not stocked well, no soap, shampoo, kitchen towels, pot holder (burnt myself), snorkels, there was a broken boogie board. Random glassware.. window louvers are mostly stuck. Needs some love..but Beautiful view..

The view from this condo is amazing. Right on the ocean. When we arrived, there were a few minor cleanliness issues that we noitifed the owner of. He responded promptly. The only other issue was the pool for the community was in disrepair with missing tiles and not what I expected. The location of the condo is close to everything on West Maui and a short drive to a beach. All in all, I would recommend staying at this condo for the location and amazing view.

The directions and information given are good. However as you approach the building it does not look good. On first coming into the property, you are hit by how dark and gloomy it is. The furnishings are interesting.
Once you realise everything is as it should be and look at the sea views, the feel-good factor starts to set in. This place is marvellous!
Around the corner is a first class coffee house and there is a small parade of shops nearby. This all contributes to a village atmosphere, which is very appealing . You will need a car to get to the resorts and busy beaches.
Considering how much I paid and how relaxing my stay was, I am very happy having booked this property.

The condo was a great spot for the price. No it doesn’t have the amenities of a resort but you’ll save a lot of money staying here. If you want the resort experience you can go to Black Rock beach, only pay for parking, and still enjoy the bar, pool and bathrooms of the resort that are along the beach. The condo is 10 mins from many of the popular Maui stops. We highly recommend the Honalua Bay beach for snorkeling.

Probably using the word “romantic” in the description of the condo is a stretch.
The unit was in a convenient location, with many good restaurants relatively close by.
All the basics we needed were there. View from our second floor balcony was amazing, especially at sunset.
The complex is a bit older, so the units show their age to some degree. For example, there is no elevator, there is no ventilation in the bathroom so it smelled a bit musty after a couple days of normal use, and some of the wooden blinds/louvers on the windows did not work. However, we did get really good, cool airflow through the unit by opening the louvers on the entrance door (they worked) and opening the sliding door to the balcony. Really didn’t even have to use a/c that much.
Also there is no convenient beach access.

This spot was absolutely perfect & exactly what we were looking for. Cute & clean studio condo in a quiet area. The balcony has the most perfect view & while there isn’t a beach directly in front of the spot, there is a beach maybe 1-2 min walk away so it wasn’t bad. The AC unit & ceiling fan got the place cool very quickly. Highly recommend

This is a fantastic condo! It is super clean and well managed. The view and bed are as advertised and the location is close to several good beaches. Our stay was brief but would definitely loved to have stayed longer.
