We had an amazing stay at Luana Moana! You couldn't ask for a better view from the lanai. Denise has everything you could possibly need at the condo and it was very well organized. We enjoyed the pool and the beach nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Extremely clean. Impeccable view. Responsive host staff. This area of the island is known for strong winds. The sunrises were magnificent. Several times I saw sea turtles swimming near the shore. The kitchen was well equipped. Seceral of the no. Stick pans showing signs of wear and scratching. Need replacement. Very comfortable and conveniently located condo on Maui. Do not miss the humpback movie adventure at the nearby aquarium. I went multiple times.

What a amazing condo. View is incredible, location is central to all destinations in Maui. It is exactly what it states, and more. Love our morning coffee on the Lanai, watching turtles, snorkeling and surfers. There was only 2 of us, but liked having 2 bathrooms. Extremely clean and had all amenities we needed, except bath soap, which we brought. It was walking distance to the Aquarium and shops, and a few restaurants....also ice cream shop. Very quiet and not a lot of traffic...would highly recommend this place, I would love to return for another week...thanks Rohan for being there if we needed you, you were always a phone call away.

We just had the pleasure of staying at Rohan's VRBO property in Maalaea Bay, Maui, and it was nothing short of a dream come true. From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew we were in for a memorable experience.

As soon as we walked into the condo, we were welcomed by breathtaking ocean views that were just as spectacular as they appeared online. The interior was tastefully decorated and exquisitely maintained, making us feel right at home.
Location, location, location! Rohan's VRBO is as close to the water as you can get. The soothing sound of the ocean waves and the unobstructed views from the lanai were an absolute highlight. We spent hours watching the turtles swim right below us and even saw a few popping their heads out of the water. It was a surreal experience that left us feeling truly connected to the sea.
The lush grass on the property is not just a sight for sore eyes, but also a perfect spot for picnics and sunbathing. It's a wonderful place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. Plus, being able to take leisurely strolls along the perfectly manicured lawns was an added bonus.
The property is cleverly connected to other buildings along the water, which gives it a sense of community while still maintaining privacy. It's not often you find a place that offers both serenity and the opportunity to meet fellow travelers.

The kitchen was a great convenience and saved us a lot of time and money. The added bonus was the beach toys available to us. The condominium and hosts deserve five stars plus. The view is spectacular. An added treat was seeing the sea turtles from our balcony. The condominium is beautifully and tastefully decorated. We ate and shopped at the nearby restaurants and shops, which were within walking distance and so convenient. We walked to the swimming/walking beach once, however, we couldn’t wait to get back to the condominium. The hosts were always quick to respond. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay a night or two longer! If we ever go back, this is where we will stay, hands down.

Maui is in need of tourists! Everyone was so gracious and thanked us for coming. We almost canceled our trip due to the devastating wild fires but we were encouraged by many people to keep our plans in place. We are glad we listened to the voices of reason.
Our property manager Barbara was one of those voices of reason. She was great about texting us regarding the situation, and encouraged us to not switch to another island-Maui needed our visit for revenue.
The condo was exactly what we expected-quiet with a beautiful view of Maalaea Bay. We watched turtles swimming by the sea wall, long wave surfers, as well as snorkelers and scuba divers while sitting on our lanai.
We did NOT go to the west side, there was plenty to do in other areas, and we felt that going to the west side would be disrespectful.
Maui swap meet was up and running and in need of more shoppers.
We made reservations at restaurants even though at that time they really weren’t needed due to lack of tourists BUT we wanted the staff to know we were coming in case they needed to close due to lack of customers.
Visit this beautiful island BUT PLEASE do it respectfully! Drive the speed limit! Be gracious! Remember they are all dealing with a great loss still.

This was a great central location for us as we were exploring all areas of the island. There was an issue with flies when we got there but communication was great and they came to treat them right away. I seen many had mentioned the wind and yes it is windy there in the evening but it didn't have any impact on our stay. I enjoyed the balcony every morning during the sunrise and late upon our return to the room to enjoy the sounds of the waves because it is so relaxing. My kids did not enjoy the pool. The maintenance guy had something to say about everything they did. My husband said, what's he going to say next, they can't play Marco Polo (just trying to be funny) but sure enough he pointed out the pool rules said no Marco Polo like games. So they didn't return to the pool during our 8 day stay after that. Everyone agreed that the beds were very comfortable. We were grateful for the beach supplies that were there for our use. The beach umbrella was broken but we used the chairs and surf boards. They provided a small cooler. It would be nice for future guests if a bigger one was provided since this unit is for bigger groups. Overall we had a great stay there.

Homey. Cozy. Convenient.
The decor is stylish and tasteful. Many little touches Katie put into the condo makes it stand out from other rentals. The art work, plants throughout the apartment and fresh flowers that welcome every guest are exceptional touches. You want to take care of them as if you are more than just a renter. Heavenly beds.
Everything in the condo is functional, beautifully placed. We enjoyed many family cooking time during our stay. All the appliances, kitchenware, 2 types of coffee machines (Keurig and Nespresso) are clean and in top functioning shape.
Beach supplies in the 5/F storage provide everything you need for a relaxing beach time.
Sitting in the swing in lanai with a book watching turtle with the background ocean waves makes you appreciate your time in this magical place.
Katie is an exceptional host. She is very responsive and answered everything from which websites do locals use for update news about road situation to switching out the refrigerator filter within 1 hour of me asking as the light comes on.
Maalaea is a hidden gem. Everything is 15-25 minutes. The Maui ocean center & Pacific Whale foundation are within walking distance. Great causes.
For those who wonder if traveling to Maui after the August 8 fire is ok. YES! We were welcomed by locals with open arms with many telling us thank you for visiting. Love to Maui!

My mother and I had a vacation of a lifetime this month and the condo was a huge part of what made our stay so magical. My husband and I have stayed here before and we have always been happy with our experience. The condo is beautiful, outfitted perfectly with everything you might need. The views are unparalleled. Great centrally located condo between Kihei and Kaanapali. Has huge lanai with great waterview in Maalaea harbor. Large 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with split ductless hvac system and multiple fans to keep you cool and comfortable. Had plenty of towels for condo as well as beach towels and supplies. Kitchen was well equipped also. Great pool area with two bbq… Huge downside to trip was the complete tragedy and devastation that happen In Lahaina. Absolutely terrible for the residents and locals that live there and lost everything…

The property is amazing-located on a dead end with several other condos. The pool seems small at first, but there were multiple days when we had the pool to ourselves, and on days we didn’t there may have been 3-4 others at the pool. It’s very quiet, which was a huge plus for us. After exploring the island and being in crowds, it was nice to come back to a quiet and relaxing area.
Speaking of the area- don’t let this quiet little secluded spot fool you. There is a harbor, Maui Ocean Center, Maalaea Harbor Shops, a General Store that serves breakfast/lunch and has great smoothies, and at least 3 restaurants- all within a very short walking distance. On the other end of the road there’s a park with a beach that is also a short walking distance. I walked to both daily- the shops sometimes 2-3 times a day. You can even walk the grass to the shops which makes it even quicker (great for bringing back Shave ice and fresh cookies from Hula Cookies).
The unit is perfect! We saw sea turtles daily and a few eels. The waves were very rough, but we enjoyed watching the experts snorkeling and fishing. You can walk to the rocks below and view turtles closer in the water, or just view from the room. You can hear the waves and the winds and it’s very relaxing.
The owner thought of everything, and we had no issues or concerns. It’s a great condo-centrally located so exploring the island was easy. This is a very safe area and we wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Thank you!

This condo is everything it claims to be. The views are amazing and the condo was very accommodating. This area is very windy, and in the middle of July we rarely used the air conditioning. We just opened the windows and the air flowed through the entire place. We noticed a huge difference in how comfortable we were in Maalaea compared to Lahaina. The wind definitely helps. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans and utensils, and the washer and dryer worked great. The sunrises were amazing every morning, and we could see turtles from the balcony swimming in the water. The whole area is very quiet and the complex itself is well maintained, but also not far from anywhere you want to go on the island. We found it easy to drive many different places, and shopping was only 20-25 minutes away. We are definitely planning on returning. Barbara was so helpful and a pleasure to work with.
