This complex has been our go-to for the past 15 years. It is ocean front and has a wonderful beach walk access, in addition to a spectacular sunset view. Kerry was very prompt in responding to inquiries and provided detailed instructions relating to the accommodation.

Condo was super clean and had new towels, beach chairs, umbrella etc. the BBQ was also new. Kitchen was fully stocked and appreciated the gift box with goodies. The Beach unfortunately was a bit damaged by the storm and could not be used. But Maui has great beaches nearby. Loved the lanai and the view. Great communication with the staff.

This is a difficult review to write. The VRBO was what we were expecting. The challenge came on our second day (Friday March 13th). We were aware of a coming storm and were encouraged by some permanent residents to have supplies and flashlights in case the power went out. That night the storm hit. We got a flash flood warning on our phones. There was about 18 inches of water running through the parking lot and more running down the street. The power went out shortly afterwards and was out for 48 hours. After 24 hours the storm subsided and we could see that there was approximately 6-8 inches of mud in the parking lot and 20 inches of mud in the street in front of the apartment building on S Kihei Rd. We were stuck. We were unable to leave the apartment until Monday evening after several pieces of equipment were called in to clear the mud out of the parking lot and the street. The reason for this low review is the following. We know storms are unpredictable. However, as we talked with the permanent residents we were told that flooding with mud happens with severe storms and it "takes a day or two to get out", and is a common occurrence. This was not made known to us before hand. We missed two days of a 5 day medical conference. Our rental car was flooded and needed to be exchanged. Other guests said they were warned of the coming storm and were given the option to cancel. We were able to cancel the rest of our stay and move to another location for the remainder of our time.

The views from the living room and Lanai are unbeatable. Watching whales breech from the Lanai was absolutely amazing. This was a great condo with a great kitchen, super comfy living room and a great bedroom. You can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

OK, this condo was fine. if you are looking for a totally updated modern condo, this isn't it. BUT - it was totally functional - WASHER AND DRYER - PLUS - AWESOME VIEW. BUT - on the day of arrival - the instructions given you for entry to the condo were totally inadequate - they gave you a code but didn't tell you you had to hit a button before that and twist a lock a certain way. When called, the on call property management person could not have been more rude. "do you really want me to come there and let you in" - ( NO - how about you just tell me about you should hit the button at the top, enter the code, and then twist the lock to the right at the beginning, before the arrival.)Now - I was there during a "kona Low" - which is a horrible rainstorm. It rained EVERY DAY during my visit. For the weekend, there was horrible flooding - we had no power from Friday pm until Sunday pm - the parking lot was impassible because of deep mud - (many cars were flooded - coated in mud in the interior!!) NONE of this was the fault of the condo. BUT - NO ONE from the condo managment company bothered to contact us during this storm - to check on us during 48 hours of no power, or the subsequent 72 hours of inability to leave the parking lot because of flood and mud. But they totally reminded us we needed to be out on the day of our departure by 10am. Never mind our flooded car.We got out though. Maui is awesome will come back will not stay with this prop mgmt compy though

The view from the deck was stunning with many hours relaxing out there with our binoculars. The bed was very comfortable and despite the bedroom being on the busy road - the noise level wasn't bad. We did not cook in the condo but the kitchen was set up for our needs. We appreciated being a little north of all the hustle and bustle on the busy Kihei restaurants and shopping. It was definitely a quiet place in paradise. My only comment would be that I picked this condo for the beautiful view and that was perfect. The other thing I had looked at was the chairs and couch for relaxation and how comfortable they would be - while they were fine they were not the recliners shown in the property's description.

Early morning traffic noise, Easily overlooked as room was great.No communication with management company beyond emails/text messages. None really needed but other travelling companions had welcoming personal phone calls from their hosts to confirm everything was ok. Nice touch.

We love this whole building! The units are spacious, and every one comes with a great ocean-front view. We like to come in the winter to enjoy whale watching and fabulous sunsets from the lanai. This unit in particular is very well maintained and attractively decorated. We especially liked the lanai furniture, and all of the provided beach gear: 4 chairs, 2 coolers, towels, and a beach umbrella.

Stunning condo in Paradise- a 10 out of 5 - the balcony is right above the waves and we saw humpbacks from there every morning . Located between two great beachs with Turtles and Seals on the beach. It’s walking distance to shops, restaurants and food trucks. The Staff was amazing. Pool is on the edge of the ocean. Super convenient to explore all of Kaiwai from.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Kihei, Maui! The apartment was perfectly located — right on the beach with direct ocean access and a private pool. It truly left nothing to be desired. The unit was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you could possibly need.Check-in was super easy and completely hassle-free, which made our arrival wonderfully smooth after a long trip.We really appreciated the thoughtful touches — a starter supply of essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dishwasher and laundry pods, and even a small fishpond feature in the bathroom added a unique charm. The apartment also came with plenty of beach gear including chairs, umbrellas, towels and cooler, which made our beach days so easy and enjoyable.The highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking ocean view. Watching the sunsets from the balcony — or directly from the beach just steps away — was simply unforgettable. The scenery was absolutely stunning and felt like a true Hawaiian dream.The location is fantastic: Kihei is perfectly situated in the south of Maui, close to the airport and ideal for exploring the island — from the Road to Hana and Wailea to Kaanapali and Paia. Restaurants, shops, and supermarkets were all within easy reach, and the free on-site parking was another great plus.We would return here in a heartbeat. Overall this place what we expected. Right in the beach with beautiful views. Just a few things. The ceiling fan in the living room didnt work but was provided with a standaline fan. The furniture and rooms needs deep cleaning or replaced. A lot of stains. We ended up splacing the extra beach towels and a blanket on chair and couch to sit on. I would have wished for overhead light or a light near the door to bedroom. The washer and dryer were perfect for we needed, they provided the essential for about 5 days beside Kleenex and wash towels. Overall happy with the place.

My family and I had an amazing stay here. The unit is much better than the photos show. Kitchen came well stocked with equipment for us to make our own food for meals when we didn’t eat out. At the time of our stay there was beach towels, beach chairs, pool noodle, plus even more things that may benefit others. AC’s kept the room cool when we wanted. There are 3 separate AC’s. 1 per each bedroom and 1 for the living area. All worked well and we often turned them off in the evening and opened the lanai doors to let the trade winds keep us cool. The Lanai had plenty of space with a great view and the beach just below never really got busy as it was mainly locals and others in the same building. If you want a chill beach day it’s only steps away from the room. Great location made nothing on the island too far away. Host was responsive with clear and simple instructions on check-in and out. I would recommend this location for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Maui.

The views at Koa Lagoon are beautiful. The condo is nice and cozy and clean. Beach access is easy. The only downside is the noise. It’s close to the street and very noisy. However, the noise from the birds and roosters is soothing and relaxing.
