Very efficient service from the rental team - we could call Kirsten any time - she was so helpful !The condo is SO beautiful, and EXACTLY how it looks in the photos. The grounds, gardens and pool were immaculate. Kihei is very relaxed and low key, but has plenty of great restaurants, shops, cafes etc. We felt a really friendly "buzz" during our stay. We would definitely rent this condo again.

I'll start by saying we really enjoyed our stay at Koa Lagoon #201. The condo is in a good location with an amazing Oceanfront sunset view!!! The condo is well appointed and comfortable. The shower in the second bathroom is really cramped and for my personal preference it was unusable. It's so small the shower curtain is pressed against you the whole time. The window in the other tub/shower was extremely dirty/dusty as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The lanai was also really dirty. Lots of standing dirt and on the floor. It wasn't bad enough to call and complain, but considering the high cleaning fee added to the rental it should be spotless.Overall, I would definitely stay here again, but I would count on only one shower and ask to confirm the cleanliness of the questionable areas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and found we had everything we needed. Our family of five was looking for a homebase from which to explore Maui, that would also be comfortable for us when we were not out and about. This location and unit were perfect. A great view of the ocean, a beautiful yard, a good kitchen with all the essentials, and comfortable beds.
The management team was responsive and helpful at all times. And the location was so close to all the shops, restaurants, beaches and activities of Kehei! We would definitely stay there again. :)

The location was great, you’re closer to the ocean than how it looks in the photos which is great. Very well stocked kitchen with utensils and cookware. Also, the closet is nicely stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers.Nice having working AC since the sun sets right on the patio, it gets warm. I would give a five star but there were some things could be done to make it worth a five star.
Some of the walls should be repainted entirely instead of touched up because you see different splotches of where the touch up was and it doesn’t look nice.
Patio furniture is very stained and dirty…either a washing or replacing would make it more enjoyable to sit on.
The overall condo was clean (floors, beds, counters) but you can see the traffic of prints where people touch to shut the doors and also the door frames had these dark spots too.
The dust in the window screens (especially the master bath) was caked on so when you’re eye level with this while showering, it’s not pleasant to see.
The wall where the kitchen sink is had splatter on it as well as the hanging photo.
There were little bugs in the kitchen that looked like ants but I don’t know what they were for sure because they had wings and could jump but we kept most of the food in the fridge or cabinets so it wasn’t a problem.
These these were not deal breakers as we very much enjoyed our stay here. Just wanted to point them out so the owner is aware to hopefully correct and make better for future guests.

Overall, the property was very nice. This this property had a little more road noise than expected, but we normally stay in the Napili area which is a little more remote. It was decorated well and had everything you would need. Thank you!

This is a very nice spacious condo with a lovely view of the ocean and a nice beach. Well supplied with amenities. Appreciated the lawn chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. Although it is located on the main beach road, it is about 1 km or mile in either direction to get to shopping, so too far to walk in the heat, but only a 3 to 5 minute drive, so best to have a rental car for this location.

We had a wonderful stay at this unit and as described the views are amazing. I got up early each morning to watch the sun come up over the mountain. The grounds are beautiful and kept well. Location was great and accessible to every beach or location we wanted to go to. Great communication with property manager and would definitely stay there again.

The view from the balcony was just SPECTACULAR! A lot of restaurants nearby. One of the shower was very small and some ants inside condo, but otherwise the condo was kept very clean and in great shape. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We really enjoyed the condo. The kitchen was well equipped and the condo was clean and comfortable and quiet! This area of beach is shallow and the surf wasn’t as rough as a few of the other areas we had stayed at so good for little kiddos. Restaurants and grocery very close! We also enjoyed going to the state park beach (Makena State Park) for the day.

My friends and I stayed in Maui for a short vacation and the location is very ideal and convenient. It was nice to have air conditioning in the condo and have two bathrooms when traveling in groups. We would stay here again, highly recommend. The view from the balcony every morning was spectacular.

This condo was exactly as described. The main living area is very open and beautiful with an amazing view. Having air conditioning in the bedrooms is a huge plus. We were so appreciative of having tons of beach gear-4 chairs, 2 umbrellas, and 2 coolers! This is a wonderful place for families.

Our stay at this property was wonderful! Each couple was able to have a bathroom with shower and there were chairs, mats and beach towels to use. They even had a cooler. There was a large balcony off of the kitchen and living area from which we enjoyed watching the whales in the bay! It was a welcomed surprise in mid-March. Early morning walks close by on the beach included turtle viewing, another treat. We would consider staying here again.

The location is great with very good beach access and the views and grounds are beautiful! Good access to the highway and stores.
Our first week in Hawaii was in Lahaina and based on that location and the rental rate there, this place seems overpriced.
The condo needs attention by the cleaning staff as we found cobwebs, windows and interior doors were dirty and appeared to have not been cleaned in some time. We had bought a box of donuts the first morning and by the afternoon, there were ants in the box which reiterates the need for better cleaning.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in this condo! It has been very comfortable for the four of us; the kitchen well stocked; plenty of linens; and everything you need to hit the beach! It is also very conveniently located. The VIP representative, Carol, responded immediately, when contacted. As I said in the beginning of this review, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first trip to Maui. We would definitely book here again. 5 stars!!!

Very comfortable unit, great view from the Lanai, and good location (on the beach, shops are a ten minute walk, central to the whole island if driving somewhere). Some car noise from the main road, but it didn’t bother us and we are light sleepers. Kitchen was well-stocked and there was loads of beach gear. Communication with management co was easy and fast. I really don’t have any complains.

We had a wonderful trip and totally enjoyed this condo and beach area. We really liked the layout and size of the rooms. The view from the condo was amazing. Was really nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas, etc provided. The location was great and central for all the activities we had planned. When we return to Maui, this will be the first place I look to rent again.

This was our first trip to Maui and we picked Kihei for its central location. The reviews for this property were glowing and the pictures made it look pristine. The reality, however, was not quite as glowing. The condo is certainly showing wear from it being rental - warn paint, random small holes in the wall, well used beach equipment. One of the reasons we stayed in a condo was to cook our own meals and I found the kitchen supplies to be as lacking as the condo. Finally, I thought the number of ant traps out when we arrived to be surprising. Despite meticulous clean up of the kitchen and daily sweeping of the condo, ants were abundant. Not sure if this is from a previous renter or a neighbor. I must say the sunsets from the balcony were incredible. Overall, I am glad we stayed in Kihei but I would not choose this condo again.

This condo is exactly as the photos show. It’s clean, decorated nice, quiet and very comfortable. Property management is very responsive and accommodating.
My only comments are it would be nice to have a comforter on the beds (my husband and my temp levels are very different at night). Thankfully we travel with a light blanket. Also the a/c mini-split condenser location on the patio is not ideal as it’s a bit loud and blows hot air right where you sitting. Too bad whoever installed the unit didn’t place it in unusable area on the patio.

As a chronic traveler, I have experienced a wide range of properties. I am willing to spend more to get a higher end experience. The location of this condo to restaurants, shopping, the airport, and of course the ocean were perfect. The unit did offer what was stated in the summary, however I was disappointed with a few things. The master bed mattress was very uncomfortable. The white guest towels were NOT gently used and were stained. The blender did not operate properly if you wanted to make a smoothie. The kitchen needed a few more items if you plan on cooking such as a large fry pan, hand mixer, large bowls, and storage containers with lids for leftovers. The condo is located right outside the garbage metal bins and the pool so you WILL hear noise early in the morning and late at night. The grounds of the condo were well kept and being able to grill out and use the picnic tables were a plus. I have listed two outstanding side trips that were took that were superb! Aloha.

Excellent view. Good location to launch day trips to any part of the island. Loved the large kitchen and dining table. Also appreciated the ample seating on the balcony. The beach area was great for a morning swim or paddle, typically a bit windy in the afternoon.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Koa Lagoon! The check-in process was easy and the place was clean upon entering. As soon as you enter, you are greeted to the view of the ocean with the two sliding doors. There is a balcony that can be enjoyed during sunset hours with a drink of your choice. The lawn area was not busy during our stay which made it peaceful.
The place has a ton of accommodations - grills, beach equipment, nearby beach, a sea turtle rest area, and a fish pond that I had thought was a barrier created to make swimming in the area more friendly. If you are lucky, you can meet the researchers who survey the turtles and get a quick lesson on the history of the area.
Would stay again at this place. My only complaint is that in the master room, we were not able to close the blind completely so in the morning the sun would shine right through the windows. Besides that, everything is well taken care of and is a great family/friends rental.

Direct access to quiet beach with beautiful sunset views. Nice lanai views, too. Loved that it offers beach supplies. Couple of things needed to be replaced but no big deal (water filter pitcher leaks and ice maker wasn’t working. Everything else was as advertised. Bring your water shoes if you plan to swim. So nice to have a quiet beach to walk! Doors could use a little cleaning and some ants if you leave things out too long but that was the only thing we noticed. Otherwise, very clean.

The condo was lovely, in good shape and in an updated condition. I have stayed in condos before that did not end up looking as advertised but this one did. We greatly enjoyed our time there. The management team is great to deal with. They requested times that our group would fly into Maui. We were all coming in at different times & after finding out my son and his wife were arriving early in the morning , they instantly told me that they could check in early at 11 which I didn’t even realize was possible. So easy to work with!

When we first looked at the pictures for this property they almost looked photoshopped. When we walked in and saw the view it was unreal. Absolutely gorgeous. The pictures we took looked exactly the same! So gorgeous! They condo was clean, decorated super cute! Stocked with nice beach chairs and a cooler that we used every day. We choose the smaller room because the bed was softer. It was very comfortable. Loved everything about this condo!

Koa Lagoon was an amazing experience. Walking in the door, the view is breathtaking. The condo was clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked and our group cooked several meals for ourselves. The lanai is spacious and an ideal place for watching the whales (my favorite activity). We had a few problems when we first arrived with the keys and a light switch. The property management team was very responsive and solved our problems quickly, with a great attitude. We would highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was nice to have a beach right outside our door, but when you get in the water there is so much coral that it was not fun to play in, because the coral is every where and there was a great possibility of injury, especially for my 80-year-old parents, who are still avid wave enthusiasts. The condo had everything we needed for the beach though - chairs, cooler, shelter, beach towels and that was great. This place worked out great as it was close to many restaurants in Kehei. The property could use some more forks and spoons though, as we did eat a few meals there and had to wash everything right away for the next meal. :) The second shower is super small, so if you are a larger person weight wise, just be aware. Other than those minor things, we really enjoyed our stay here.

This unit is perfect for two couples. It has a nice, workable kitchen with seating for everyone in one place. There is plenty of seating in the living area or out on the balcony (which is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee before you start the day). The beds are comfortable as is the entire unit. The pool is private and near the beach. We loved this unit & hope to stay here again for our next trip!The property management is excellent.

This condo was perfect for our stay. Each room has an AC unit that works great. Beautiful view outside the back, with easy access to a nice little beach. Short drive away from many restaurants, coffee and groceries (also walkable). The location in Kihei makes it a great starting point for a day-trip to Lahaina, driving up Haleakala Highway to Haleakala National Park, or going to the Road to Hana. Property management was very nice and helpful when needed.
