The condo was really nice. Felt like a home away from home. The management (Carol and Krista) was extremely attentive and hospitable. Located right on the beach in Kihei, this was a perfect spot. This condo is everything! This condo is Maui! The pictures don’t even do it justice. Sunset and sunrise on the lanai is stunning. You basically have a private beach because the most people we saw down there was 4. Spent a day at the pool too when it was extra windy and even that was perfect! The property manager was helpful and so nice! If I had to be picky, I would say that it’s time for a new mattress as there’s a giant lump in the middle. But that’s seriously stretching it as we both slept FANTASTIC too even though it took some time to get comfy. The small washer and dryer saved my life. Close to literally everything. We can not wait to come back! Will spend our whole trip here next time! Made our dream vacation a reality!

We loved our time in Maui. Our condo was perfect. The sunrise and sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed having coffee on the lanai as we planned our day. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and the property manager was always prompt in answering any communications sent. Would 100% stay here again if we ever get to visit again. My heart is broken for the residents of Maui and what they are going through. So thankful for the memories we made Praying for Maui. 🙏

This condo was perfect! It is in a building with only 42 other units so it was very quiet our whole stay and the views were SPECTACULAR! My girlfriend and I could not have been more pleased with our stay here, there is plenty of parking for all the units and you’re just steps to a beach that we rarely saw anyone on, and this is during the busy season June and July mind you. The rental company that you communicate with was fantastic and super responsive. We never needed anything during our stay, the condo had everything my girlfriend and I could need. Perfect spot for a romantic, quiet trip in Maui!

The view was our favorite part of this condo! It was very clean and comfortable. It was a quiet building and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves one day. I loved all of the little detail that made our stay more comfortable, such as the beach chairs and umbrellas, the stocked kitchen, and the hangers/fan/hamper in the bedroom. We loved that we were right down the street from all of the local food/restaurants as well. The owners knew we were coming in for our anniversary and we were surprised with a bottle of champagne in the fridge when we arrived. It was so nice and thoughtful! We had one issue with the lock (which was our fault) but someone came to help right away and she was very kind. The management company was very responsive throughout the whole rental process. All together, we had a great time at this condo and we will be back!

Overall - Expected more for the price all in about $400/night. Car required. Amazing water view with direct beach access. Building feels dated and dark. Heavy metal dark brown condo doors feel like a boat hull or bunker, grungy and challenging to open so it’s not a welcoming approach.
Best Part- We enjoyed the perfect tranquil view of the water with lanai doors open most of the day. Facing sunset on the water is amazing. The sounds of waves lapping up on the shore were a constant lull which put our nerves to rest immediately.
LR is tastefully decorated with 2 comfy recliner chairs and nice sofa, hard floors.
Cons:
Lanai - furniture was not of high quality and not visually appealing or comfortable. The kitchen felt very old and dated.
Bedroom faces street (South Kihe road - main thoroughfare) so street noise could bother some with sleep challenges. Toad noise starts early before 6am. A/C unit in window next to bed is also very loud. We were able to leave it off most nights in mid April.
Not enough parking for all units no assigned spaces - lot was full most of the time. We were lucky to always find a spot but it’s unclear what to do if lot is full.
Pots/Pans could be nicer/heavier. Kitchen and supply closets needed a deep clean inside of all cupboards, old stuff tossed out. No serving dishes.
Beach towels were small and very worn. Bath rug was cheapest quality needs an update. Towels kind if shabby, an upgrade would make a big difference. Only 2 pods of laundry detergent, needed more.
Shower drained very slowly. Kitchen disposal worn out, needs replacing.
Sun blinds in LR have paint splatter on them.
More hangers needed. More bath mats and dark wash cloths. Having a larger cooler snd a cooler bag for beach would be nice. The one provided fits a few drinks or very compact picnic.
Could use a small vacuum and a hard floor mop for guests to clean floor during stay. We took our shoes off at door but still tracked din sand and having a way to clean would be appreciated.
Having somewhere to put shoes at entryway would be helpful.
Ugly Cement blocks on pipes hold open doors in stairwell. Sloppy green paint marks edges of steps.

The condo building is well kept (BBQ cleaned daily) The view is 5 Stars . The condo could be 5 stars if the appliances , linen and mattress were updated. I would recommend the KOA Lagoon to friends if the suite was updated.

The panoramic beach view is all you could ask for!
The condo is located on the fifth floor with an elevator. The facility is well maintained,the grills are cleaned daily and are some of the best we’ve ever used. It’s a very convenient location.
We found the kitchen to be reasonably well equipped, including a French press and coffee grinder, although the microwave and dishwasher are quite old. The TV and Wifi worked fine.
Unfortunately, we did have some issues during our stay, notably with plumbing in drains and the toilet and also with the dishwasher that had become unmounted. In addition, the linens, (sheets, towels, beach towels)were not up to the standard of a luxury rental. There were cleanliness issues, both with the linens and in the bedroom. The leather on one of the living room chairs was ripped.
We were surprised to receive notice, before our arrival, that personal care products, such as shampoo, lotion etc would not be provided. Only starter amounts of dishwasher tabs, laundry soap etc would be supplied.
The bedroom is in the back of the unit to maximize the view of the water. It backs on South Kihei road, the main street in Kihei and road noise begins at about 5 AM. There are options for creating white noise, but this may impact some guests. The bed is a platform bed and we didn’t find the mattress very firm or thick, but tastes vary.
After our visit, a management representative reached out to us and it seems these issues will be addressed promptly.

Koa Lagoon is located on a quiet beach for swimming and walking. Fantastic views from every suite, full kitchen, laundry, king size bed. Very comfortable and 30 minute walk along the beach to get to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

The view from the patio was exceptional and we spent much of our time there or on the beach which was unobstructed and close by!
The beach theme decor was tasteful and furnishings as well. We appreciated that everything was labeled with instructions that were clearly stated in the binder.

We had an amazing week, and this condo made everything even more amazing. You have a front row seat to the most beautiful sunsets every single night. The building has a very private feel to it. There were other people staying around us, but you would have never really known. If you keep your eyes peeled and take a few walks you may even come across sea turtles hanging out on the beach. Our last night there we counted 17!! Overall this was an amazing stay. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay. I would love to come back!

This property is absolutely gorgeous. The view from outside is great for watching the sunset and enjoying a nice morning view of the calm ocean. We saw so many sea turtles all along the shore of the beach and we’re able to have plenty of beach space to ourselves. We didn’t not spend too much time in the condo however, it is perfect size for just that:)

I requested a later check out time because my flight was leaving really late at night, and Valley Isle Property Management was very responsive to my message and request, and extended my check out time by 3 hours to help me out. Overall, I am a very happy guest and would definitely stay here again! One recommendation for future guests is to bring swim shoes, because the beach outside of this property is extremely rocky and hard on the feet, but sandier beaches are very close by.

What a fabulous condo 505 was for me! It had absolutely everything I needed for the stay of 6 nights. As other reviewers have said… “The views!!” And yes, the views are absolutely unbeatable. You don’t have to go anywhere to watch the beautiful Maui sunset, or the whales, you can see it all right from your lanai. I brought binoculars but didn’t need to because they had some there for me to use. A few things about the condo.. I was surprised how COLD the fridge kept my groceries and the freezer made wonderful ice for my cocktails! (Manually but worked well). A few others had posted about the bed… I don’t think I’ve ever slept as well as I did in that bed! It wasn’t too soft it was just perfect. Pillows were great and I used the extra blanket in the closet for extra warmth. I hardly ever used the AC units. It never got too hot for me. It’s wise to lower the shades around 3:00pm when the sun is blasting in. It keeps the condo nice and cool that way. I paid for a guided snorkel tour in Wailea but my favorite time snorkeling was right outside the condo. I swam with turtles larger than me! It was truly magical. The beach is very quiet, not touristy at all. On the really windy days I’d relax at the pool which was really nice! The condo isn’t huge and is perfect for a couple. If you don’t mind sharing space the couch pulls out to a bed but I never used that. Book this place, if you can! It’s likely to already be booked! I rented a car which was nice but not necessary. I ordered Uber Eats a few times and had groceries for my breakfasts. Overall I had a wonderful stay at this place!

The property was nice, the door lock didn't work properly but after messing with it we were able to lock the door fine. The kitchen is definitely lacking, basic plates and silverware, but doesn't have decent trash bags or even liners for the toaster oven. Older building that has been updated in bedroom and living room, but not kitchen or bathroom. They also advertise that they have air conditioners, then stress in the check in book to avoid using it at all costs due to high prices.
Access to beach is nice, but you definitely should stay here for the sunset view more than anything else. Also, it was a nice quick drive to the airport and to our snorkeling out of Maalaea Bay. Wouldn't necessarily recommend, but wouldn't say to avoid either.

We enjoyed amazing sunsets every night from the balcony of this unit. It was clean and well equipped. The lever on the bathtub was broke and we could not fill up the tub for a bath. Be prepared for significant road noise in the bedroom. All in all, I would give it a thumbs up.

Pros: on sugar beach near lots of restaurants and beaches. Super super clean. Quiet. Beautiful balcony. Lots of space for 2 people.
Cons: the beds were so uncomfortable! The king size bed in the bedroom is soft and moves when you move! We ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the main room but it was lumpy. Also the laundry detergent used was really really strong smelling. Buy new mattresses and use better smelling detergent.
Overall we enjoyed our stay with this rental could be a 5-star review with an investment in a better mattress.

Excellent viewpoint for Maa'alea Bay waters - beach, dolphins, waves, beachgoers, water-sporters, etc. Tastefully decorated and comfortable for two of us (didn't use pullout sofa). Initial issues were promptly resolved by the Prop Manager. Pool is small but nicely maintained. Convenient (and safe) access to nearby beaches and parks. We would definitely consider a return visit.

I am just about to head home and have stayed in many different places during my two week stay, this vrbo, a hotel, a resort, and an airstream. This was definitely the best one! While the place can definitely use some tlc, you just can't can't get this view for this price. Resorts usually charge a lot for any decent view. We just loved having a relaxing breakfast on the balcony everyday. It really depends on what you're looking for though, if you want glam interiors then for this price you can probably find that elsewhere. Palm trees and sunset views is what I was looking for, and this place delivers. Thanks for great stay!

This apartment has the most beautiful panoramic ocean view. The beach out front is quiet and peaceful and the sunsets are perfect. We could spend hours sitting out on the lanai. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Many beaches close by and lots of eateries within a short drive! Thanks for making our stay in Maui so special!

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 8month old. The property was clean enough that I felt comfortable with him crawling around (supervised) which is saying something. The view is breathtaking and I specifically chose a property on the beach and not just nearby just in case baby didn't travel well and wasn't in the mood to do anything. Thankfully that wasn't the case and we were able to enjoy stunning nearby beaches as well as beautiful hikes, and then spent every evening watching the sunset on the beach our rental was on.
The bathroom could use updating, but really for the price we couldn't have asked for much better. We cooked breakfasts and ate out for lunch and dinner. We had instacart delivered and there were no issues. Parking was easy, and management allowed us to checkin early when I notified that we would be travelling with a baby. We were so happy with our stay that we attempted to extend on our last day, but unfortunately the flights and property were already booked. We will certainly be back. Thank you!

We stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon and it was amazing! The view was beautiful and the space was so relaxing. We ended up sleeping on the pullout couch because it was so wonderful to wake up to the view of the ocean. Our favorite surprise was that the little beach next to the condo had TONS of turtles! It’s close to lots of food, stores and restaurants. The only downfall is that there is no sidewalk on the road to get to the restaurants, but there’s a big shoulder so you can still walk it just fine. Would 100% recommend staying here!

We had a great experience, we really enjoy the view, we didn't like the beach because it has a lot of rocks and coral but in 5 minutes drive we found a perfect one. We had a little bit problems with the air-condition, but wasn't that hot so we didn't bother to call for assistance.

A view like no other! The longer we stayed here, the more we fell in love with the location. It's such a quiet, peaceful haven of a location without being far from anything. We looked at hundreds of properties and booked two others that were canceled, but were soooo thankful this gem was available and is where we ended up. STOP looking, you won't find a better value for the real reason you're taking your trip....the VIEW.

We absolutely loved the home! It had a generous supply of towels and linen. The washer/dryer in the unit was a huge help. Everything was well thought out. And the fishpond next to the complex was enjoyed by the family. It is within 2 mins drive to restaurants. And of course the view is amazing! My only suggestion would be to have more supply of laundry detergent and dishwashing soap. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here in the Kihei area.
