The property was conveniently located with ample parking. It was also easy to add a day to ensure we had a "home base" before our very late flight out on Sat. The pool was nice and the beach was right next to us!
During our stay there were wildfires all over the island, including the devastating Lahaina fire. Although we hope this is an once in a lifetime emergency, when we saw first hand the fire in Kihei from the condo, we were not sure how to avoid the smoke entering the condo due to some of the window styles.
We were super glad we were able to watch the news and internet for evacuation notices. But if the power/internet went out we wouldn't have known where the evacuation centres are or what was going on.
Just glad Kihei was safe. All things considered we enjoyed our stay. We pray for a smooth recovery in Maui.

The pictures of the view don't do it justice! I don't know how many times we stood in the kitchen and commented on how much we loved the view as we looked out those big windows! And that was just from the kitchen, it was even better in the living area, dining room and lanai! Sunsets were phenomenal!

The view is even better in person! The beach is a very short walk away. The apartment is a great size for a family. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here several times. Great location. Easy access to beach, turtles,nice walks, ancient restored fishpond, Whale center nearby. Sunset view. Roomy. Large lanai. Floors always make your feet dirty but this can be a windy area so hard to keep floors clean.

What a view! This is a clean open condo with a spectacular view. The hosts gave clear instructions and getting in was seamless. Only minutes to resturants and shopping. We even had a sea turtle come right up on the beach.

Loved the easy self check-in. It was also very thoughtful for the owners to stock the place with the little things:
- Kitchen: ziploc bacgs, basic powdered seasonings, all the appliances you could need while on holiday
- Personal-care items: sunblock, body lotion, hair dryer
- Beach items: cooler, mat, chairs, umbrella
- Household: all the linens you could need
Having a washer-dryer was VERY convenient.
Sunsets on the lanai are all that and more - as described by other guests.
We would definitly return.

The location was perfect and quiet. The location was away from the busy touristy part of the island but definitely close enough to visit. Beaches were very quiet and secluded which we loved. The view from the condo is breathtaking!!! Turtles were up by shore and condo had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use.
Cons: not clean and dingy furniture. Master bedroom shower was very slippery and needs a deep cleaning and nonslip stickers. Everything needs a good cleaning! Kitchen cabinets were gross and sticky. Furniture and pillows looked and felt grungy and needs replacing. The master bedroom air conditioning blows right on your head. Suggest moving furniture around so thats not the case.
This place has great potential to be a great vacation rental with some fresh paint, furniture and a deep cleaning, but as it is now I would not rent it again.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s close to the airport and shopping. The property was well kept. The pool was very nice but we spent most of the time in the ocean. The beach directly in front was almost like a private beach. Remember to bring water shoes- it is a little rocky to go barefoot. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The view from the big balcony was stunning. We arrived after dark and couldn’t see anything but could hear the ocean. When we woke up, walked into the living room and saw beauty before us we were bowled over and in awe. Its a favorite memory. We would definitely stay here again.

We really loved our stay at KOA lagoon! The beach access along with the beach and water amenities were a great surprise. The view was fantastic as well!
Our only minor complaints would be the shower conditions in the master bathroom. It definitely needs to be fixed and/or updated.
But overall, it’s a great place and we definitely plan on coming back.

The property was exactly as described. We had the best time here, location is central to everything and the beach and view were to die for. I would rent this unit again in a heart beat. The owner was extremely accommodating and very helpful and had plenty of great communication before the stay. The unit was fully stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and beach towels. The pool was excellent and the beach access was perfect. The best snorkeling we had the whole trip was right there. This was one of the best condos I have ever rented.

The location was perfect- very centralized to get to everything else we wanted to see- but most importantly, when we returned to the condo we felt like we were still on vacation! The view was fantastic, and sunsets were spectacular. The property was very well maintained, and the beach area fun to walk and swim in. The parking was very easy, and always close to the elevator. Everything we needed was provided- including a pineapple corer! This is a perfect spot. My only regret in writing a fabulous review is that everyone else will want to stay here- but I hope to come back to it!

The view and the sunset from huge Lanai is excellent. The house is well furnished with all basic necessities you would need in a vacation home (mixer/grinder, waffle maker, rice maker, toaster - you get the idea). Owner has kept the beach chairs, boogie door, beach umbrella, beach towels etc that came quite handy😀 there are quite a good beaches next to the rental!!
The few things which may not be big deal
- too much wind past noon - every day. It’s welcome relief on hot day but some annoyance if you are inside
- windows in the bedrooms can’t be opened for fresh air - had to keep air conditioner on al night
- smaller bedroom mattress is not comfortable
Owner is quite reachable and accommodative as we had to check out late on the last day of our 2 week stay! It was overall fun and good place to stay!!

I chose this property because it was on a beach with an ocean view, had A/C and bedrooms/bathrooms to accommodate 4, and was centrally located in Kihei. We loved staying here--it made our trip! The view, amenities, and location were ideal! I will book my next trip around the availability of this property because I was so pleased with our stay.

The apartment has a beautiful ocean and beach view and the lanai is very large. The inside is 2 bedrooms and 2 baths which was huge for just the two of us. The place needs a deep cleaning. It wasn't filthy, it has been "lick and a promise" cleaned.
The very nice granite looking formica type counter tops in the kitchen were sticky. It doesn't show, but you can feel it. The dishes had probably been run through the dishwasher but we often took them out of the cupboard and they weren't clean. Opening cupboard doors and doors to the washer dryer area...the hinges inside were filled with lint and debris.
The washer and dryer were very nice to have and worked well.
The worst issue we had was with the sheets. I have never seen sheets so covered in pills ever. And they had pills on both sides. We tried reversing them. The towels were tired and older but usable.
The signs ask you to not wear shoes, but your feet are so dirty from walking barefoot you have to wash them before getting into bed. Maybe we should be doing that anyway.
This place has the potential to be stellar...it has nice updating and the furniture is comfortable. The view is just amazing and the people around were very friendly.
It is in a very great location and the parking was easy.
The information sent to me ahead of time was very understandable and useful, but one of the options was to call to see if we could get in early and I did and never received any contact back.
Again, the view was outstanding and the place is spacious and attractive.

Our trip was perfect! I think the condo is even better in person! We only stayed for 6 nights. However, it was the best little get away!
The kitchen has a lot of supplies so we cooked, there are beach supplies,...basically everything you need for a 6 days trip. And the view is amazing!

This is truly a beautiful unit. It is top floor corner, facing the ocean from both the living room and dining area. We stayed for one week during the last few days of April and the first few days of May, so whale watching was over by then, at the view still did not disappoint. It was fun to watch the people fishing, walking their dogs, and playing with their children from our lanai, all the while listening to the surf and smelling the wonderful fresh ocean air. As has been mentioned, this is not a standard Sandy swimming beach. However it is still quite swimmable and accessible for playing and strolling. However, There are many near by Sandy beaches in the area available for that type of beach experience, and the on-site swimming pool and bbq area is quite nice. The unit itself is beautifully furnished and very well supplied with anything you might need for your stay. Each room has separate air conditioner, so we were comfortable at all times. There is definitely road noise, but the air-conditioners in the bedrooms can be used either to cool or put on fan air only and they do an excellent job of providing white noise to combat the traffic sounds. In the front room the air-conditioner provides cooling when needed, but when it is not needed the whole room can be opened up with the sliding patio doors to allow the fresh air and ocean sounds and sights to come right into the living room. Mornings it was especially nice to have breakfast on the lanai and listen to the birds waking up.

I can not say enough good things about this condo or Jim and Kerry. The condo is amazing and suited our needs perfectly. I stayed her with my parents and teenage daughters for six nights. We had a lot of beach items in the closets to use while exploring the island. The kitchen allowed us to prepare several of our meals. It was well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. The washer and dryer were a nice feature and allowed for lighter packing. Kerry was great at getting back to us promptly and allowed us extra time to check out as there was no reservation for the same day.
We had an amazing time on the island and really enjoyed how Koa Lagoon was centrally located and allowed easy access anywhere on the island.

We really enjoyed the location of this condo. We go to Maui twice a year and try to stay in different places to learn more about the island. The owners were great to work with and the rental had many things for us to use. Beach chairs, umbrellas etc. The beach is not the sandy beach as in other spots but it was wonderful to look at for the sunset.

We rented this space for 8 days and were very happy with it. It was my husband and I, and our 3 and 5yr olds. The condo and pool are actually even nicer in real life than in these pictures. My 5 yr old was obsessed with the pool and we met many nice people by the pool (and in the elevator) everyday. During our stay, the condo was actually equipped with several items we didnt expect. There were boogy-boards, beach chairs, a cooler, kids beach bucket/shovel etc, and pool noodle in the closets. I cant say enough about the lanai! Crazy sunsets every night, a great place for breakfast, and sturdy furniture. And the BEST thing: we could see whales breaching from the lanai!!
The owners were great during all our communications and accomodated us with a later check out time as no one was using it the next day. We also chatted to their local manager and the condo's maintenance man and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
There is definitely some road noise in the bedrooms but if there is no traffic you are listening to the ocean.
Cant wait to get back to Maui someday!!

What a beautiful home in the perfect location! Our family vacation was 2 weeks long and still we did not want to leave! Sunsets were amazing, mornings were calm for a swim in the ocean. Afternoons were windy, but appreciated as August was a HOT time to visit Maui. The pool was refreshing and well used on those HOT AUGUST NIGHTS!
The condo is modern, well maintained and has everything you could need!
We look forward to our next vacation in Maui. ...Someday
