What a amazing condo. View is incredible, location is central to all destinations in Maui. It is exactly what it states, and more. Love our morning coffee on the Lanai, watching turtles, snorkeling and surfers. There was only 2 of us, but liked having 2 bathrooms. Extremely clean and had all amenities we needed, except bath soap, which we brought. It was walking distance to the Aquarium and shops, and a few restaurants....also ice cream shop. Very quiet and not a lot of traffic...would highly recommend this place, I would love to return for another week...thanks Rohan for being there if we needed you, you were always a phone call away.

We just had the pleasure of staying at Rohan's VRBO property in Maalaea Bay, Maui, and it was nothing short of a dream come true. From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew we were in for a memorable experience.
First and foremost, the listing is incredibly accurate. The photos don't do justice to the stunning beauty of this place. As soon as we walked into the condo, we were welcomed by breathtaking ocean views that were just as spectacular as they appeared online. The interior was tastefully decorated and exquisitely maintained, making us feel right at home.
Location, location, location! Rohan's VRBO is as close to the water as you can get. The soothing sound of the ocean waves and the unobstructed views from the lanai were an absolute highlight. We spent hours watching the turtles swim right below us and even saw a few popping their heads out of the water. It was a surreal experience that left us feeling truly connected to the sea.
The lush grass on the property is not just a sight for sore eyes, but also a perfect spot for picnics and sunbathing. It's a wonderful place to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. Plus, being able to take leisurely strolls along the perfectly manicured lawns was an added bonus.
The property is cleverly connected to other buildings along the water, which gives it a sense of community while still maintaining privacy. It's not often you find a place that offers both serenity and the opportunity to meet fellow travelers.

We loved this condo. It is central to everything on the island, yet very quiet. Many snorkel and dinner cruises leave from Ma’alaea Harbor; we walked down and did not have to worry about driving and paying to park. Likewise, the Ocean Center is by the harbor, worth a visit for sure.
The thing we loved most about staying here was the time spent sitting on the lanai watching the ocean and especially the turtles. There are several restaurants at the harbor. We enjoyed the General Store for lunch. Tantes had a nice lunch and dinner menu, but if you want to explore further for meals, Kihei has many choices and is fairly close by. This condo was spotless, and provided everything we needed. If we return to Maui, this will be our spot.

Amazing condo! It's a short drive away from the tourist (trap) area around Lahaina. Convenient starting point for all the attractions around the island. We ate breakfast several mornings on the lanai while we watched the sun rise over Haleakala. View of Maalaea Bay is gorgeous. Green sea turtles swam along the sea wall every day we were there. Condo has everything you need to be your home away from home. Owner called to check on us the first evening. I have no complaints about our stay and hope to stay here again on a future trip.

We were looking for a nice condo with a view that didn't break the bank for our stay on Maui with our family of 4, and this property suited our needs perfectly! We loved the view and proximity to the beach, and it was an easy drive to all our planned destinations. The condo is just beautiful and the location spectacular. I loved how centrally located it was which made driving in any direction easy. Getting up early to see the sunrise each morning was such a blessing. (Because of its location, one has to drive to see the sunset in all its glory so just know that in advance.) Rohan was so responsive and helpful in advance of our stay, and called when we settled in to go over a few helpful details. The condo is well equipped and we had everything we needed. One of the great aspects of this property is its close proximity to everything on the island. We had a wonderful time staying here and although there isn't a swimming beach nearby there is a beach at the end of the street where we were able to (from a distance) see an endangered Hawaiian monk seal that was on the beach for about 4 days. The turtles were present every night at around 4-5 pm and you could see them in the water as they were eating and then poking their heads out of the water for a breath. Pretty cool to see. The only thing about this area is there are very few places to eat so you either have to drive 20-30 minutes or cook in the condo. I didn't mind it, but my kids got tired of jumping in the car all of the time. There are 2 nice Weber grills in the pool area that we used to grill steaks (which we got at Costco). FYI food is way cheaper at Target, Walmart, and Costco. You may have read that Maalaea Bay is one of the windiest areas on the island. We did not have any issues with this. There was a breeze everyday, but nothing overwhelming and on the last 2 days when it was really windy it was windy on the entire island which only brought more surfers out for us to watch. Overall, this is a great condo and if we ever get the chance to visit Maui again we would love to stay here! My only recommendation would be to update the chairs on the lanai as they seem to be falling apart and were difficult to sit on. Nothing that put a damper on our vacation though. The place was very well stocked with what ever we needed. The only complaint was the back bedroom, a very uncomfortable bed and the bedding was mismatched and top sheet was way to big. Other than that it was a very enjoyable 6 weeks!

This is a great condo and Rohan was a great host who called us just after we arrived to make sure everything was OK and give us some added information about the condo. We make almost all of our own meals and the condo had everything we needed. The beautiful walk in shower was a luxury in the master bedroom. We saw lots of whales and some turtles. We did not need to use the air conditioning as the fans and breeze off of the ocean kept the temperature perfect. I worried about this location for our first time on Maui because it was not close to Lahaina, but now that we've stayed here I am SO HAPPY we chose to stay central. It's a perfect location because we completely covered the entire island during our stay and never had to go too far on any given day. Some of the snorkel tours leave right out of Maalaea Bay so you are within walking distance. 15-20 mins to grocery stores and the airport. The property is well lit and safe. We always found a parking spot. You can walk around the building to be right on the bay and see turtles, snorkelers and whales.... so many whales! And I was amazed by the night snorkelers. The condo is accurately described and very comfortable. It was great to get a check in call from Rohan going over some housekeeping rules and welcoming you to Maui. I would not hesitate to stay again even if I was traveling alone. Very Safe on 2nd Floor. Book today.

This property is at an excellent location on the island. The oceanfront views are amazing and the the location is central. The check-in and car registration processes were easy to understand. Our host, Rohan was accommodating and very responsive. We had some late dinner reservations and never had an issue with finding a parking spot when we returned.

Overall this property was perfect for our family. The location between the two major tourist areas of the island, Wailea and Lahaina, was perfect. This unit is within walking distance of the Maui Ocean Center, the Maalaea Harbor (tour boats) and an amusement park with mini golf and bumper boats. So it was perfect to keep our seven year old entertained.
The master bedroom was amazing with patio doors opening to the ocean, just 20 feet away. From the patio we could watch whales, sea turtles and spear fisherman.
The kitchen was well appointed. The unit had a washer and dryer which came in very handy.
The main patio door was crooked and did not close properly and the patio chairs were in poor condition. The tile floors were not clean and left me with tacky-feeling feet. But overall, the interior of the unit was in very good condition.

My husband and I along with my brother and sister in law have been to Maui several times. We decided to move our location to the Máalea Harbor area to be more centrally located to golf, upcountry and beaches. We loved this location, with a beautiful beach just down the street, easily walkable.
The condo was perfect for the four of us. There were ceiling fans in living room and each bedroom as well as a/c individually controlled units. A/c was not needed due to wonderful cross breeze. Kitchen was fully equipped and the owner, Rohan, was very generous with dishwasher and clothes detergent. Plenty of dish towels instead of the measly two you usually get which is never enough! Rohan was very accessible and you can tell he takes excellent care of his condo and makes every effort to meet his renters needs.
The entire building was maintained with beautiful pool, daily cleaned grills and well maintained grounds.
We look forward to returning!

We had tours/sightseeing planned everyday so we only were at the condo to sleep and have breakfast. However, the unit is stocked with everything could possibly need, including items for pool and beach use. The pictures posted are true to what the unit looks like. The unit is spacious and clean. The water view provides both sunrise and sunset views. The host provided detailed information prior to check in and we appreciated that he called on our arrival to provide a welcome, additional information about the items stocked in the unit for use, and answer any questions. On our prior visit to Maui, we stayed in Kaanapali. The location of this unit is central if planning to explore the island; there is less drive time getting around the island compared to driving from Kannapali. This unit was the first rental I encountered where I was asked to purchase rental insurance. Initially, I was indifferent about the insurance, esp with two adults staying. However, during our stay, the blind to patio was not opening and closing smoothly and near end of the trip, the cord broke. Since that occurrence with the blind, I have a different perception about the insurance requirement. Overall, I would recommend this unit to others for its location, size, how it’s updated, clean, and positive communications with the owner.

This is my second trip staying in Ma’alea and I think it’s the perfect spot! This condo was great! Updated and beautifully kept! Ocean front to see turtles and whales! The area is centrally located so you can get to all parts of the island (maybe not Hana) easily and quickly! Rohan was a great host with quick responses to any questions or messages!! My husband and I stayed in this condo for six days the first week of October 2021. The condo was much better than the pictures even it was beautiful, modern, clean and you could not beat the view! It is right on the ocean and you can enjoy the sunrise while having a cup of coffee in the morning and see turtles near the rocks in front of the condo every afternoon. The condo was centrally located on The island and made it very easy to get to the different places that we were visiting while we were there. We absolutely loved this Condo and Rohan the host was wonderful to deal with. I hope that we can return to Maui soon and we will definitely be staying here again if we do!

Finding the condo was a breeze thanks to Google maps. The entry process only required a 4 digit code to the door. Once inside it looked just like the pictures. Clearly this place is all about the kitchen. It's big and newly remodeled with all the necessary cooking tools available. The fridge is large and has an ice maker. The furniture and decor was nicely done. The complex wasn't new but it was well kept and we were greeted into the complex by a sweet orange cat. The unit was on the 2nd floor facing the ocean. The view is beautiful! The few days we were there they had an unusual large swell creating great surf watching from the patio, however, it made for an unfriendly environment for the turtles to hang out. We were told that turtles are usually all over along this piece of shore line. The condo linen were nice with plenty of towels. The beds were comfy. There was a very strong trade wind that blew through the condo 24hrs a day. Without it it would've been extremely hot. We didn't need the beach equipment because we had it all from early in the week, however, we did use the beach towels provided. There are ceiling fans throughout the house. They don't spin very fast though creating very little air movement. There are 2 BBQ on the pool deck that worked well. The pool was just a typical pool but right on the shoreline. It was well kept.

This condo was exactly as advertised and photographed - expectations were met and exceeded! Just ideal for my trip with my 14-year old travel companion. Walking into the condo the first time and seeing the breathtaking view was a great start to the five night stay! Rohan called us to be sure our check-in was easy and accomplished. Since Hurricane Hector had just passed by, the waves were a bit larger and we were able to watch surfers for the first three days of our stay - entertaining and peaceful. The king bed was the most comfortable bed in which I have slept. Kitchen, baths, and furnishings all were gracious and comfortable. Plenty of nice linens for bed and bath. Four beach towels - plenty for the two of us (washer/dryer is also great, AND quiet.) Lanai had shade by 2 pm each day, so later afternoon and evening times were comfortable and relaxing. This location gave us easy drive time to Kihei, Wailea, Makena, Iao Valley, Lahaina, and Napili. We also had a small area of beach right at the end of the street. Spent a late Sunday afternoon there with many Hawaiian local families - all of us were enjoying the sand and water. Was great to have the general store at Maalaea Harbor for morning coffee, breakfast, and/or lunch. To future guests, don't miss the D. T. Fleming Beach Park, one left turn north of Kapalua. EXQUISITE beach area with grass and trees, bathrooms, shower, and lifeguard. Also really enjoyed Café o Lei in Kihei, Cheeseburger in Paradise in old town Lahaina, and the Maui Gold Pineapple farm tour. The latter is in an area 1,100 ft higher than the beach towns, so the air was 10 degrees cooler and very refreshing. I am so pleased to have found this unit on VRBO and highly recommend it to any group of four or fewer people.

We have rented VRBO properties from Alaska to the Florida Keys and lots of places in between. This was, by far, the most breath taking location we ever experienced. The condo was beautifully appointed but we spent most of the time we were at the condo on the lanai. The Trades were wonderful. We could see green turtles playing without moving from our seat. The view of Haleakala is incredible and even more so after we experienced sunset at the top. The moon was full so what more could we ask for. If we ever get back to Maui we will know where to stay

The condo is located in a very quiet location on the west side of Maui, but in a spot that is easy to get to and from all locations on Maui. The views from the lanai from sunrise to sunset are so peaceful and relaxing. The condo is oceanfront with unobstructed ocean views and beautifully maintained grounds. We could see turtles swimming daily directly in front of the condo. The seawall has stairs going down to the ocean almost directly in front of the condo. We never used the pool, but it looked inviting and very clean. The condo beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed, well equipped and high end. The condo was very clean, well maintained and with very nice furnishings.
Rohan responded very quickly to questions about his condo and even called after we arrived to make sure everything was okay and that we had arrived safely.

We agree with all of the previous positive reviews. Nice, quiet, beautiful location that is convenient for exploring the island or just sitting and enjoying the view. The unit had everything we needed and more and was in great condition. We had great natural cross-ventilation from the tradewinds and only needed to use the AC for two short periods when the winds were still. Speaking of the tradewinds, be sure to plan for your hair to be windblown on the parking lot side of the building.

I can't imagine staying anywhere better for our first trip to Maui, which won't be our last, and when we come back we hope Rohan's condo is available for rent! First off, the condo itself is an easy drive from the airport, and is GORGEOUS, so comfortable, luxurious, and unbelievably well-equipped! All the beach and snorkeling gear you need, and the location is fabulous -- easy to get anywhere you want! The lanai, being double the size of any others we saw, is such a treat! Morning coffee, afternoon drinks out there, where we sat and planned what we would do, or just enjoyed the peaceful view of God's creation! This is absolutely the most perfect place to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the condo, where in the morning you'll see lots of fish, and in the afternoon, you'll be swimming with the turtles!! Unforgettable experience, and it's FREE, available at your front door!!!
Maalaea is an EASY drive to anywhere you want to go, and you definitely should go and explore this spectacular island!!!
We are already looking forward to our next vacation in Maui, and would be thrilled to stay in this condo again!!!

The 2 bed 2 bath condo met all of our needs for the week. There was an isssue with the slider and on island contact had someone out to fix it quickly. Great views, great lanai. We were in the second bedroom that does not have a ocean view nor in suite bathroom. Close to harbor, in the middle of Lahaina and Kehie. Great to have all the beach toys too. We used the beach chairs, umbrella and coolers daily.

The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking & entertaining. Several of the coffee cups are cracked & should be replaced. Also, the TV in the second bedroom does not work. Other than that, everything was in good shape. It was nice to see turtles every day right outside in the surf.Yes, we would consider this condo again in the future.

We had an amazing stay here! The apartment was so clean and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The turtles were at the waters edge almost every day. Being a step away from the harbour where a lot of the excursions leave from was also great since we took in a whale watching tour. It turned out that we could see them just as good from our lanai with the binoculars that were provided! Excellent choice and very affordable! Thanks again!

This was by far the best vacation home we've stayed in for some time. Loved that the ocean was right outside our door. Loved watching the sea turtles everyday. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was clean and beautiful.

Let me first say we did enjoy our stay. The condo was as advertised. The location was good for us because it is in the middle of the things we were doing. Located right at Maalaea Harbor so in 5 minutes you are at the Harbor for snorkeling and the Ocean Center, 30 minutes one way and you are on the way to the volcano or the Road to Hana and 30 minutes the other way you are in Lahaina/Kannapale. We were all over the place so the location met our needs. That being said, because we wanted to see so much of the island we didn't spend alot of time in the condo. Two things that made me mark the 3 star rating in this review are 1) the "A/C" is a simple window unit located in living room and the condenser and moisture drain on the lanai. We are from Texas so we ran the AC the entire stay. With the AC on, it really prevents you from sitting on the lanai because the hot air coming off the condenser. Also the moisture drain makes the floor on the lanai wet all the time. The AC did an ok keeping the condo cool, though, the guest room and bathrooms were a little warm but not unbearable. The trade winds did blow but not cool enough for this Texas couple. 2) the wind blows...hard! It's not the fault of the condo it's just that part of Maui. It was our first time visiting so we were unaware of the amount of wind. We never did get the TVs in the bedrooms to work but never bothered to call about it because we don't watch that much TV. All and all we had a fabulous time on Maui and the condo was part of that experience.

No need to look any further if you have an opportunity to book this property. Recently enjoyed a seven night stay and the unit is exactly as presented. It has all the amenities required to make you feel at home while away on vacation. TV, washer, dryer, dishwasher, Wifi, A/C, not to mention the long distance phone plan which comes in handy. Between the four overhead fans and constant breeze, we never turned the A/C on once during our stay. Floor space is more than adequate for four adults without feeling cramped. Comfy king in master and queen bed in other room. Living and dining room furniture are comfortable and nicely decorated. Beach supplies including chairs, umbrella, snorkelling and coolers are provided. Four bar chairs and a table occupy the oceanfront lanai that overlooks the bay with postcard views. Great for watching all the water activities, boats and the turtles that feed off the rocks directly out front daily. Full gourmet kitchen has everything necessary for cooking meals. There is a propane BBQ and decent sized swimming pool available for all residents/guests, open 9-9pm. Building quiet hours are posted and respected which is nice for those seeking peace and quiet overnight. The building itself is well maintained, clean and centrally located on the island providing easy access all around. Property is 100% non smoking. Plenty of open air parking spots were always available, never a problem. Dining, shopping and boating opportunities are available five minutes away in Maalaea Harbour. In the other direction at the dead end of the street, Haycraft Park provides access to a mostly secluded three mile stretch called Sugar Beach. We certainly took advantage of all these conveniences. The owner was easy to correspond and communicate with, even calling us on our second day to make sure things were as expected. An enjoyable experience we hope to repeat in the near future and would not hesitate to book this property again.
