With an absolutely gorgeous view, this spot was nicely secluded and quiet with the sound of ocean waves putting us to sleep. There were sea turtles we could see from the balcony. Would be happy to return.

Perfect location to go anywhere in Maui. Great view of the ocean and molokini. We joked about having a million dollars view! We saw some whales in the distance one morning. House is fully equipped. Melanie is super attentive and responsive. We enjoyed our stay here.

We had a great stay in Maui at Ma’alaea Banyons. It’s located super close to the harbor so make sure you pick a snorkel or whale cruise from the docks close by. It’s also a very easy drive from the airport; and centrally located to venture out to other notable places like Lahaina and Paia. The house is on the fourth floor so no upper neighbors stomping around. Though there are some very loud roosters (who knew??)!The kitchen has all you need to cook; and the two gas grills near the pool are great for burger night. Joe, the owner, is super responsive and has lots of helpful advice for those new to Hawaii like me.

Nice view and resort convenient to area sites. The host did have a new toaster delivered when the one in the condo would not work. No response to our finding a drawer with A pan with old vegetables that had molded throughout the drawer.The condo itself has been poorly maintained. The furniture and bedding were worn out and uncomfortable. There were outlets and light switches that did not work. Carpet was old and had been partially covered with a thin area rug. The toilet also ran most of the time and the unit could use a more thorough cleaning.

This was a perfect location for our month-long stay in Maui. One of our favorite things was watching whales and sea turtles from the lanai, while having our morning coffee. It's also in the center of Maui and provides easy access to the whole island. It's a short walk to the harbor where most of the ocean tours leave, saving 30 parking; and it's also near are the Maui Ocean Center (a must do!) and 2 great restaurants - Havens Harborside and Seascape.Although small, this condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great place! The balcony was amazing for watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as many whales. The general store in the harbor is always a favorite place to visit for a yummy breakfast or an ice cold beer after a day on the beach. And the host was amazing! Lots of good communication to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to staying again.

Enjoy a spectacular view from this exceptional condo. See Whales and turtles right from the balcony. There was terrific communication from the owner. It has an easy entry and is located in a quiet location. It’s just a short walk to the Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium) multiple shops, restaurants and the Marina, plus a beach at the end of the street. We loved the location. The unit is well equipped with a gourmet kitchen, spacious living area, a comfortable bed, nicely updated shower and of course the balcony with an amazing view. We would definitely recommend this unit and stay here again!

Location was good to access great ibeaches south and Lahaina north.. Maalea is somewhat limited on dining options, night life if that is what you seek, etc ( certainly are some options) but does have easy access to tour boats, whale watching etc.The condo itself has great views.

The place had everything we needed to cook, and all the essentials to play on the beach. The view was amazing, and loved seeing all the whales from the lanai, and the turtles on the little beach every evening. Good trade winds through the condo, rarely used the AC.

Is totally worth the stay just for the view!! lost count how many whales we saw from the balcony! Awesome! Also saw sea turtles just below on the shore of the condo!! just a couple areas for improvement white floor trim was bare in a few spots, one drawer of refrig did not work ( but no problem still lots of space in frig, and one window shade was torn some at the bottom- we reported both issues and was offered help if needed but we did not believe either issue would alter our stay. Only other issue was getting a copy of final bill from rental company- took 2 emails and a phone call still waiting- guess this is by request only and not automatic.We would definitely stay again and hope to! thanks for sharing your home with us!!

The view from the balcony was spectacular! The condo, not so much. The windows and door leak and howl in the wind. The bathrooms don’t have vents or windows, therefore the humidity lingers. In general, this condo is in need of a serious overhaul.

We had a great stay. The location is wonderful with a great view from Lanai. We plan to come back to Maui again in 2 years and will be staying at this location again !!Big shout out to Jace, Ian, Jake (the maintenance guy) and Tom (the property manager). Jace accommodated our son's college interview time. Ian provided us the extra blankets. Jake was wonderful in fixing the toilet on time and Tom let me borrow his allen wrench to unjam the garbage disposal.

This rental was exactly what I expected it to be - it is not a luxury apartment and it is very basic. It was clean and functional and just what I wanted for a quick few days with my daughter. Cost is reflective of the place. If you are looking for a fancy or updated environment and plan to spend a lot of time inside this is not the place. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to park your belongings and adventure it is perfect. It was clean and well located.

Great condo with incredible views. Communication with the host was great. Always a quick response. Everything worked and was well stocked. We really appreciated the ice maker a the bed was very comfortable. It was very nice to have a light on the lanai. The only “negatives” were: the ac in bedroom made loud noises, the rugs in bathroom need some sort of backing to avoid slipping. We wish there were a few more forks. We used a lot of the counter space for some of our personal items so it would be nice to also have a small table and chairs to eat when it is rainy or windy outside. Overall, a wonderful place to spend our much needed vacation and will definitely be back. The location is perfect and watching all the whales was such a highlight for us as we had never been to Maui this time of year.

Check in was very easy, the property company was communicative leading up to our stay and during! They offer concierge type service- so any questions or needs they were available and always quick to respond! The condo itself was clean, had everything we needed & then some! This was our second time to Maui. This trip we brought our three kids with us (two adults, one teen). The location of this property is absolutely perfect. It’s a short drive to South Maui (Wailea) and also a short drive to Lahaina, and Kapalua. We did not spend a huge amount of time at the property during the day, but did eat breakfast there every morning. Perfect amenities for making omelets, toast, coffee, etc. We sat outside on the balcony to eat each morning and the views were spectacular (see photos). The breezes through the Condo were so refreshing and pleasant. We opened the front door and opened the balcony sliding glass door and just let the air flow through. We all enjoyed our time together at the condo in the mornings and evenings. I cooked one night out at the gas grills, where there is a dedicated gas line, and a nice kitchenette with running water. Overall, we had an awesome stay. The main level bathroom needs a little bit of an upgrade, but it served its purpose well while we were there. Views: Amazing; we saw Sea Turtles and Whales from the balcony. Location: PerfectSize: Adequate for a family of five if you are planning to spend a lot of time checking out Maui. Host: Awesome to deal with. Amenities: Everything we needed.
