Loved our stay! Excellent communication with the host (a big plus). Home as described with outstanding views (and good wifi). Loved watching the sun rise and set, and seeing the whales in the distance and the turtles that rested on shore each night. The home was a great space for my family of 4 adults. Easy walking distance to the harbor and the beach. The best thing was the location. Quiet, low traffic area with easy access to the entire island. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends traveling to Maui. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location was nicely placed close to a nice beach and shops/restaurants and harbor. Saw turtles daily! Nice unit and timely communication with owners. Great space for 2 people as not set up for more than that regarding eating. Small kitchen and hallways made it challenging to prep meals and enter/exit unit with items in hand. Overall very nice!!

The hot tub small and extremely noisy (maybe time for an upgrade?) The pool was clean, not large but good enough to cool off in.
We did have technical difficulties with WiFi and TV. did take a while to sort out ( Management company does not work Weekends) But when we finally got ahold of them things fell into place.

Condo is lovely & the complex is quiet. Local Marina has a small market and casual restaurants. The location is perfect - 30 minutes to Wailea-Makena and 30 minutes to Kaanapali. If you like to get out & see Maui rather than see a resort, this is a good home base.

We have never been to Hawaii before. This was our first time… and it was amazing! Our stay at this VRBO made it very easy and accommodating. It was well decorated and updated with the most wonderful views. I woke up early everyday before my family and sat on the baloney and watched for whales. It was my favorite part of the day!
We spent most of our days over in Kihei with our friends, which was only a 12 minute drive. The neighborhood is welcoming and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo worked for what we needed. We loved the location and took the short drive to Kihei/Wailea many many times. The condo itself has been updated and the view of Haleakala to the east and Maalaea Bay was gorgeous off our private balcony. Unfortunately, the condo needed a thorough deep clean. There was significant amount of dirt on the walls and the cabinet faces and cabinets themselves were filthy. We didn't notice at first, but it seemed as though between guests they only do a brief, surface clean.
Overall, we did enjoy this condo, the view, and the updates that have been done to it; although would have appreciated it being slightly cleaner

Beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler were a great bonus. Bedroom was a little warm, but a ceiling fan and a portable fan were available. Enjoy!

We had a great stay, very comfortable and relaxing. The location was great, in a less crowded area but easily accessible to most parts of the island. The condo was quiet and plenty of room for two people. The lanai had a great view of the water and had plenty of space. The pool was nice as well. The owner was very responsive when we had a broken hair dryer, which was dealt with the sane day. The only minor issue was the air conditioning, which is a small unit in the main room. It is an old unit and doesn't really help with the bedroom...on hot days, it could be a bit uncomfortable. Overall, however, i would highly recommend this condo for a nice Maui stay.

We love this area of Maui for its easy access to everything Maui has to offer, but the quiet off the beaten path vibe! This place was absolutely perfect for our needs (active couple in our 40’s). It had everything we needed for our stay, perfect amount of space, beautiful, clean, and super helpful caretakers of the property with loads of recommendations. Gail was fantastic and quickly responded to and resolved a minor need during our stay. We will definitely be back!

This is the second year we stayed in 403 and our 3rd time at this complex. We love the location and how quiet the area is. Our condo had everything we needed and the view is outstanding! We used the grill, hot tub and pool. The grounds are always very well maintained. We watched whales and turtles from our lanai. The beach park down the street is our favorite spot to start our beach walk. It’s miles of uninterrupted beach... perfect for a morning or sunset walk. (Also a great place to swim) We will be back.

I loved that it was on the 1st floor and accessible for anyone who wanted to go out on the porch area. The view was excellent and the completely was quiet. Although there were quest enjoying the outside close to my room it was not obvious. This property offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the mainland but also a quiet escape from the island. The views are incredible and the quiet manner of the property offers the ability to listen to the waves from your condo at all times.
There seems to be a disconnect from. The owners to the property management as trash receptacles are not open at all hours to dispose of trash. Listing the access hours could be helpful. Additional details from the owners regarding condo amenities provided and appliance operation would also be appreciated (explain it’s a Roku tv and give a standard explanation of the dishwashers and laundry). Otherwise, this condo provided all that is needed for a wonderful Maui vacation.

We loved this condo. It was perfect for us. Nice and new feeling on the inside in an older but very well maintained building. Loved the bathroom and the kitchen. The washer and dryer are in the kitchen but we loved having them in the condo. Very comfortable and the view is amazing!
Turtles can be seen at both ends of the property!
We loved being halfway between Kaanapali and the Wailea. We were able to go to restaurants at both ends and across the island at Paia. We even booked a whale watching excursion out of the marina right beside us. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo is newly updated. The whole place is lovely. So glad for a really nice bathroom and kitchen. (There is a washer/dryer in the kitchen but we were glad to have it!)

There are turtles in front every day. There is no beach to put chairs and lay out on but the grassy area is very nice and you can walk down to the sand and rocks to see the turtles up close. Bed was comfortable, shower was great.
Two beach chairs were available and beach towels.They had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Some people might not like the area - you are not "in town" for close restaurants and stores (there are a few at the Ocean Center) but we loved it! We felt like we were central to the whole island and planned our days accordingly. We went a different direction every day. And on our last day we had a boating excursion at the harbor right down the street.

Perfectly clean unit! Just like the pictures, lovely view from the balcony, updated decor! Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking appliances (coffee pot, blender, pots and pans, etc).
The bed was comfortable (pullout couch not so much!).
AC unit worked, but was struggling a bit and very loud. We ended up keeping the curtains closed for the afternoons and whenever we were out of the condo to help keep it cooler.
Location is wonderful! Quiet area with a dead end street. The condo units do not have a beach, it is all rock, except for a small sand stretch surrounded by rocks where the sea turtles come to the beach at night. This was really cool to see, at least 15 turtles came up every night to rest there.
Condo is within a 5 minute walk to a gorgeous public beach, Haycraft Park, that was so nice, huge, and not a bunch of people. Also a 5 minute walk to the Maui Aquarium, which was great for our last day.
Pool and hot tub are small but clean...but a heads up for those with kids. The hours are from 9AM to 9PM, and no jumping, no games, etc allowed in the pool at all.

This property was better than advertised. The location was close enough to everything we wanted, yet just far enough from everything that we could just relax. The unit was very thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. The bed was so comfy, the kitchen had everything needed for meal and snack prep, the Bluetooth speaker system was just right and the bathroom had good quality toilet paper (my husband really appreciated that). We did spend much more time on the lanai than I would have figured we would. It was so tranquil and soothing just watching the turtles bounce around in the surf. The pool and hot tub, like the rest of the property, were clean and well kept. The town was a very few steps away and we found a few great dining options there. A shorter walk just the other way was some of the most beautiful and uncrowded stretches of beach. We were pleased to no end about renting this unit. We will be back…

Some things we didn’t love:
- That the dryer took hours upon hours to dry and MAYBE your clothes were dry.
- No storage for suit cases.
- Although having the air conditioner was nice, it was very loud and condo still felt warm!
Overall 10/10 would stay again!

Our overall impression of this property was pretty good. We arrived late in the evening so the having all the information to get into the condo made the process so easy and convenient. Waking up to that view for nearly two weeks was worth every penny. The area is easy to get to and quiet. Upstairs was a little warmer than downstairs but lots of fans and adequate air conditioning provided. There was only two of us but it's a great size for four adults. My only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror, a girls gotta make sure she looks cute for the day! Would stay here again!

We love this place! Very quiet. Kitchen well stocked and love to sit on the lanai! Close to a nice beach walk that isn’t crowded.
The only thing I would change is the sofa. It is very firm and becoming uncomfortable. Also, for those that may have mobility issues, the chairs on the lanai are quite tall. I like the laundry upstairs. We will return!!

We stayed from July 20-27, and am so thankful we did. The condo was well equipped and very clean. The only downfall was the air conditioning didn’t keep up and made for difficult sleeping at night. But we’re in Hawaii, so it didn’t cause that much of a problem. I would stay there again.
