We have never been to Hawaii before. This was our first time… and it was amazing! Our stay at this VRBO made it very easy and accommodating. It was well decorated and updated with the most wonderful views. I woke up early everyday before my family and sat on the baloney and watched for whales. It was my favorite part of the day!
We spent most of our days over in Kihei with our friends, which was only a 12 minute drive. The neighborhood is welcoming and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Honestly really wonderful.
Some things we loved:
- The modern updates.
- The View
- The Sea Turtles
- The Pool
- No bugs
- Great communication!
Some things we didn’t love:
- That the dryer took hours upon hours to dry and MAYBE your clothes were dry.
- No storage for suit cases.
- Although having the air conditioner was nice, it was very loud and condo still felt warm!
Overall 10/10 would stay again!

The location in which this condo sits on the island is perfect for exploring both sides. You are pretty much in the center which makes it very convenient to exploring everything. The views from the balcony were amazing. The amenities are exactly as mention in the description. The only thing to mention, the loft bathroom shower is quite small and the master room doesn't get the best AC circulation. Other then that the place is great

The check-in process was easy and the condo was cooled on our arrival, which was much appreciated. The views from the condo were spectacular! We got to watch sea turtles swim in front of the condo and come up on the beach every night to sleep…..so cool! There were about 13 that did this every night and from what I understand, they have done so for 5 years. The condo was clean and appreciated that it was stocked with all of the essentials until we could go to the store. We had one issue with a toliet leaking and I called the management company and it was taken care of same day. Kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary kitchen supplies needed to cook meals. There is a grill outside that you can use as well. The pool and hot tube were great after a day of excursions. The only thing that would have made it better is a couple of more large box fans to help keep you comfortable while you sleep. There is one in the master and a small one upstairs. This place was amazing and we could not recommend it more!

Was a perfect central location if you want to hit all sides of the island. this will be your best choice,15 to 20 minutes will get you to North, south, and west maui. Amazing little beach just past the condo at the end of the road has Amazing views for the sunrise. Fyi no access to the back of the grounds of the condo till 7am

This was our first time in Maui and this centrally located condo was a perfect jumping point for adventures. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful and we loved the pool and and condo amenities very much. The condo is walking distance to restaurants, beach and harbour. We enjoyed snorkeling and watching sea turtles and whales off our balcony! Beautiful decor and well equipped kitchen. The washer/dryer were handy and there was a closet full of beach supplies! Highly recommend!

We had looked forward to this stay for some time and unfortunately, I had a medical emergency requiring hospital stay due to a perforated colon and was not cleared to fly. That said, this is obviously no fault of the property and the correspondence I did have with the manager was very timely, polite, and concerned offering recommendations on what to do. I would recommend travel insurance for others as i did not see an option for it, but will look harder in the future. I will still give VRBO another shot in the future as i cannot place any wrongdoing to them as I would have made the same decisions as they did with a last minute cancelation of a stay.

The view from the Lanai was outstanding. Everything went very well. Management was terrific and very responsive.to a making our stay perfect. We hope there will be a dresser to unpack clothing in the loft bedroom in future.

Location was centrally located and close to the airport. The view was breathtaking with lots of whale sightings. Just be sure to check for beaches and other activities that need reservations prior to going. Drove for two hours on the Road to Hana just to get turned around because we didn’t have reservations. Overall great vacation.

Very nice condo with all the amenities you could possibly need. The highlight of the unit is the Lanai looking right out over the ocean. Amazing! We would eat breakfast watching the turtles right at the edge of the property. The location of the unit is a short drive to any where on the island. The management company was very helpful with any questions and readily accessible. Great unit made for a great holiday.

This location was a great launching point to explore the island. We visited all the major beaches and explored all the sights. Being centrally located really helped. Plus we were able to watch whale and turtle activity from the balcony. Condo was as described and the property was very quiet and clean. We would stay again.

We chose Maalaea for the quiet mornings and peaceful evenings. The condo was in a great location and allowed to just that. We watched turtles from the lanai every morning and listened to the waves every evening. The tradewinds kept the condo nice and breezy so there was very little need for AC. Would stay here again.

The condo was lovely , comfortable, and beautiful decorated. The central location was fantastic for exploring the island. The kitchen supplies (spoons, cooking utensils, plates...) could use some refresh...there were hardly any regular size spoons. Obviously not a major issue :-)
We saw turtles every single day! Beautiful view from the balcony!

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. Our purpose was for a family wedding on the island. Air conditioning is a challenge but the views are breathtaking. Morning sunrise and proximity to airport was a convenient.
The property management firm was great with responses to questions and needs.

I would certainly stay here again. The place is gorgeous, it was clean, lovely, and I had everything I needed for the beach. It’s well kept and wonderful. A+. I loved they have shopping carts for groceries and we even used them for luggage. We met other wonderful people in the area during our stay.
I love the area as well! It’s close to Kihei and Lahaina. You must check out both. I enjoyed Sugar Beach. 5 stars! Great interactions with the host as well.

We make a point of supporting sharing economy businesses, and especially enjoy the accommodations/services from hosts who are on the receiving end at times. Unfortunately, not this time with Vacation-Maui. Please be warned here first: Check-in: It was a bureaucratic and inefficient process which made an unexpected early (40min) arrival to check in absolutely impossible. Flawed interior design: Washer and Dryer are installed in the upstairs loft area with two single beds. This sleeping area heats up very quickly and gets super hot as soon as the dryer is turned on, which makes it impossible for my 10yrs old daughter to sleep in there.

Nicely remodeled condo. My family of four was comfortable. We rented a SUV and took day trips to explore all over Maui. Beautiful beaches 45 north and 25 minutes south. It took us a little over an hour to get to the top of the volcano. The airport is only about 15 minutes from the condo which is really nice after the long flights to get there.

Great location off the beaten path. No busy tourists areas. Everything is 20-30 min away! Access to beach on property where if you surf is great. Lots of surfers used this stretch of beach. Pool and SPA, and facilities are well maintained. People are very nice and welcoming. Nice BBQ area where you can see Sea turtles swimming by the shore.

We had an amazing time. The correspondence was incredible and prompt. Definitely recommend! Do not recommend bringing loud children as this seems to be an area where older adults stay. We had a noise complaint as we had a son with autism who occasionally has outbursts. It was hard to keep our children quiet even when they were just excited and squealing. That would be my only complaint. Thank you so very much for the lasting memories, Todd.

I've been to Maui many times, but never stayed near Ma'alaea until now. Not only was this location central to both sides of the island which was amazingly convenient, but the location was less crowded which allowed us to come and go with ease. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 5 adults! The decor was fresh, the property grounds were clean and quiet, and there were plenty of chairs, swim toys, and other thoughtful items in the room that helped make our vacation one to remember. If it's your first time in Maui or your 10th, I highly recommend staying here!

Really great place in a central location (20 min to Kihei, 20 min to Kahului, 30 minutes to Lahaina) with a gorgeous, unobstructed oceanfront view. Balcony faces SSE so no direct sun in morning or afternoon. Got to see lots of turtles swimming past the building every afternoon. They provide beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella, which were all very much appreciated. Rental company was very responsive too.

The harbor is windy but the location is central to getting around and amazing beaches are nearby! We definitely enjoyed the condo, the grounds, and the feel of the area. Perfect for our family of four with two teens.

This was a great central location away from the crowds and that’s what we were hoping for. If you plan on exploring the entire island of Maui then I recommend highly the location. The room overlooks the ocean and we saw turtles swimming everyday. The snorkeling in front of the condo was also good.
The only negative with regards to location is the sunset views. You still get the sunset colors in the sky, but not a direct view of the sun going down over the ocean. However, plenty of places nearby to experience that.
Overall, this condo was great and we would recommend to our friends and family.

This property was perfect for our 5 day trip. Very clean and well equipped. The view is just incredible. We often saw sea turtles swimming in the shallow water right from our balcony! The location was wonderful, right on the water and close to many beaches, as well as shops and restaurants. I would recommend this property and would absolutely stay again!

My favorite part of this place was the fact that it had beach chairs, a cooler, snorkel gear, and shampoo, and a hairdryer. That was so nice to have when flying in. We didn’t have to go buy or rent anything. The turtles out in the water were so fun to watch everyday.
