Excellent location relative to stores and beaches. Right on the water - just a lawn and wall separated us from the surf so we could enjoy the sights and sounds.
House had everything we needed to cook, and everything needed for a day at the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, pool noodle, and beach towels).
Plenty of room to sit and relax on the balconies, or living room, and around the dining room table.
Beds were very comfortable.
A/C units all worked as expected.
Parking spot was close to the stairs.
Excellent communication with the management company when we had a question.
We’ve stayed in a lot of condos and homes and while this one wasn’t fancy, it was perfect for a week in Maui. We would happily return here.

The views are stunning. From the ground floor lanai, you have unobstructed views of Molokai and Lanai, as the waves splashed against the sea wall. There was nothing better than just stepping out of the unit and enjoying the gentle breezes, as whales frolicked right before your eyes, while turtles basked on the sandy beach next door.
The unit was clean and well stocked with basic vacation necessities. An added bonus, was not having to climb any stairs at the end of a long day, or lugging up suitcases. We even interacted with some permanent residents, they were very pleasant and welcoming. This is certainly a friendly place.
All in all, it was an unforgettable stay in a unforgettable unit. Ray is certainly on his game and made it a very smooth occupancy. We certainly look forward to staying here again.

Great view of the ocean. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, groceries, food truck pod, and northern tip of a Kaanapali boardwalk. Saw whales and turtles from our lanai. Got a monk seal visit at the small beach next door. Quiet for light sleepers, away from the road. Plenty of space for two. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen worked well. We even used the rice cooker and popcorn popper. We didn't need the AC; ceiling fans and open windows/doors was enough that week. The bedroom was usually cooler than the living room at night. Lots of little touches that helped make the stay more enjoyable: plenty of storage containers, doors can be held open with a magnet, the sliding door to the lanai can be held slightly open for air flow but still prevent entry, nice beach chairs, modern appliances, etc. Couple ideas to make it even better: add the ability to hold the shower head lower, add a non-stick pan.

We have stayed at Lokelani a number of times. The location is both beautiful and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We especially enjoyed watching whales from the balcony. Bree and Herb are always available and helpful if guests need anything. There was no BBQ spatula in our condo. I notified Herb, and he supplied one in a few hours. Great stay as always.

Lokelani is a hidden diamond...the condo is beautiful, and you're so close ( ON) to the water that you can smell the ocean breeze. The beach had maybe 6 people there at most. The Sea Turtles are always sunning themselves and the water is 78 degrees....we have stayed here twice and are so impressed that we are looking at buying a unit ourselves.
Dollies & Miso Phat Sushi are within walking distance, as are many other shops, restaurants & grocery stores.
Peter & Michelle are gracious hosts and answer any & all questions in a very timely manner.
Honestly, this trip and the location are absolutely perfect!

I was a bit reluctant before checking in based on the mixed reviews. Once I opened the front door and saw the incredible view, all reluctance left. The condo is dated, but that in no way detracts from the pure enjoyment of the lanais, seeing turtles and whales daily, sleeping to the sound of the surf all night and the private beach for fun in the surf. I would stay here again.

Any closer, you’d be wet really describes it all. Enjoyed a wonderful week of fun in Maui and relaxing on the lanai. Saw whales and turtles off the lanai every day. Comfortable condo. Good bed and shower. Nice friendly neighbors. We had friends staying in a Kaanapali condo over to enjoy sunset and they were amazed at the location. There isnt a fancy resort but a wonderful relaxing place with easy parking.

We absolutely loved it here! The sunset was beautiful and being during the height of whale season, we saw so many right from or condo! We even saw turtles in the beach. This was the perfect, private, quaint place, close to restaurants, food trucks, and beaches. Very responsive... We had issues night one with the wrong wifi info and they texted us immediately. The condo is about 10 steps from the seawall that overlooks the ocean. We watched whales and turtles from the patio daily. No need for binoculars. Location of the condo is close enough and far enough from the stores. Very quiet area. Very small complex so everything is easy to find: Assigned parking spot, dumpster & recycling, and stairs to the beach. The condo is perfect with all kitchen amenities including blender, shredder, salad spinner, and lots of pots and pans. Great selection of plastic containers for leftovers, too. The bed is comfy. Blackout blinds, a/c, and wonderful bedding and storage made the bedroom perfect. Closet with plenty of hangers! Overall, we loved it and will be back next year!

The location and views are wonderful. Saw whales everyday. Where we find fault is the cleanliness of the condo. Large cobwebs in master suite. Broken closet door and slats on master closet. Extremely dusty laundry room door. Broken threshold between dining area and living room and asked not to wear shoes was questionable The condo feels old and dated. The living room furniture was not comfortable and cushions were dirty and stained. But the most alarming fact was we got no response to a question we posted to the owner a few weeks before our final payment. We won’t stay here again and recommend no one else does until these issue are addressed

Any situation that you run across she is there for you. The maintenance crew, the person or persons who take care of the outside and inside condo area are very professional. We made a reservation to come back next year in the same condominium at the same time looking forward to it very much. it is very quiet and peaceful at Lokelani. The sunsets are great. We were Lokelani returners. Stayed main floor this time & loved walking out right to the water’s edge...stunning setting. Loved having turtle visitors most every afternoon on the beach next door. Showing its age a bit but in overall good condition. Comfortable king-size bed. We did have a couple maintenance issues - but very quick to attend to.A/C was having issues & not real “user friendly” to operate (found the manual & that helped!) The pool is right outside the bedroom window. If you are early to bed people & it’s being used...it’s noisy! But, was never an issue with quiet hours.Whole process was super easy - from booking to arrival/departure info.Thanks, Lokelani for a great stay!

The condo we stayed in (2023) was awesome and we are staying there next year. The beautiful sunsets.and the calming ocean is something my wife and I always look for, and we found it. The condo was very clean and the outside of all the condos were perfect. The professional landscaping is always perfect and well managed. * The view! Gorgeous. Can't be beat. We loved listening to the waves at night

* Condo could be cleaner - especially the 2 balconies and the flooring on the main floor. I had to clean the outdoor furniture before we could sit on it. And the balcony floor was full of dirt and dead bugs. I also had to mop the floor on the main level. The flooring was making our feet very dirty and we didn't want to track dirt onto the carpet upstairs.
* Ghost ants were a problem in the kitchen. There were also a few ghost ants in the main bathroom. We did spray for ants during our stay and it improved some. If you store ALL food in the fridge and keep the counters wiped clean at all times it isn't a huge problem.
* There is no air conditioning on the main level. We left the patio doors open during our entire stay to get the breeze, but if the humidity had been higher it would have been quite warm on the main level. There is AC on the top floor for the bedrooms
In summary, parts of the condo are showing their age and cleanliness could be better, but the view is incredible and we would stay there again. We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

Our stay was truly paradise. The property is quiet, clean, and in a perfect location. We are long time Maui visitors and former owners of a rental condo and this exceeded our expectations in every way.
The ocean front setting cannot be beat and the fact that it is off the road makes it so quiet. We had to close the slider one night because the waves were so loud-that's a good thing!
The kitchen is well stocked with every pot and pan you need and plenty of utensils. Towels were plentiful as well as paper goods.
We hope to return 2-3 times a year and will always choose this location.

The condo was clean and quiet and the view was spectacular. We were able to see whales every day from the lanai. Turtles (mostly one but one day two) were on the beach every day, and you could see multiple in the water just off the beach. Short drive to many restaurants and other beaches and we walked to both Times supermarket and the Food Trucks across the street multiple times during our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if we come back to Maui.

This condo is fantastic! Loved waking up to the amazing views and just listening to the waves. As advertised, the ocean is literally steps from your doorstep. We saw sea turtles on the little beach and enjoyed a little swim there too. This place provided a true sense of privacy. It was quiet, uncrowded and peaceful. Although not fancy, the condo was impressively clean and provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The owner was very informative and helpful. We had the opportunity to volunteer packing and serving Thanksgiving meals for the community at Joeys kitchen. The owners there anre amazingly caring people who experienced the fire themselves. We met many strong Maui residents who are remaining hopeful and feel honored to have met them. We had zero problems here and feel that we picked an amazing place we will want to come back to. Words can’t express how awesome we found this stay!

We’ve become Lokelani regulars. Love the private beach with turtles and fish to snorkel around. This unit has very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only wish the pullout couch was better quality for my 14 year old daughter. We loved watching the sunset and hearing the waves.
