We love this property and have stayed there many times. This is the first time in this unit. There were minor issues, such as several lights out in the master bathroom, broken furniture and molding. Overall, we were very pleased and the property manager was responsive to our needs.

Wow. What to say. The condo was nice. Amazing decorations throughout, in fact, we thought, it would be really nice to live here. Very comfortable beds, love the large sliding doors on the main floor and master bedroom. The small stretch of beach was very nice...we loved listening to the waves. When the power went out on August 8th, the winds from Hurricane Dora felt very nice. It was a life saver to have the outdoor propane grills when the power was out. We were able to cook bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and later ramen and egg drop soup. The location is nice, just a short distance from Lahaina as well as several restaurants and stores. Praying for a swift rebuild of the area. Bless Lahaina!

This place was just heaven to us. Very beautiful place, right on the water, private beach, with plenty of amenities. They had beach towels and chairs, and the snorkeling on the private beach was amazing, saw lots of turtles. This place is easy in and easy out, breakfast on the lanai, and amazing sunsets as well. My wife didnt want to leave. Truly amazing!

We have only ever stayed at Papakea prior to this trip. The outside of this property is slightly dated, but we’ll maintained and pretty quiet. The pool is a bit smaller, but very well maintained. The parking spot was great and the condo was stocked with everything we needed to cook. We also did some sunset grilling outback! I only wish there was a vacuum that we could have used to keep up with the sand and our two young kids, and removable shower heads would have helped bathing the kids in showers…. By no means a deal breaker!! We accidentally left some bags behind in our rush to check out and iMaui vacations contacted us as soon as they realized it! Excellent stay! Would return in a heart beat! 🌈🐳

We had a great time during our stay. Lots of turtle and whale watching from the lanai. This is a great option if you like a sense of privacy (and not the feel of a resort) as it is a small complex. There are some components showing their age, but not more than I expected, and nothing broken or bad enough it couldn’t be disregarded. The view and location make this place a gem. I would stay here again.

Negatives - upstairs sliding door was very difficult to open and close, need more forks and plates. Would definitely go there again.

This unit is pretty dated but it is clean and the location cannot be beat. It suited my husband and I just fine. The turtles just love the beach and you can watch the whales from the lanai. We like being away from the constant action of Kaanapali but it is mere minutes to get there for the restaurants and shops.

We were very pleased to stay at Lokelani C-201 in February 2023. The condo was well-appointed and met our needs, and it was centrally located with easy access to many of the activities that we wanted to do. It was nice having the two (upper and lower) decks and access to the private beach. Being right on the water was spectacular --we could see whales all day long and at night, gigantic sea turtles climbed up on the beach to sleep. The condo neighbors were all quiet -- mostly older folks with a few families -- and we really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 would stay there again!

I would rent this property again mainly for its balcony and view! The kitchen could use some updating but the rest of the condo and the property were very well maintained. PRO’s: The property location was amazing: Right near Lāhainā in a beautiful part of West Maui. The assigned parking spot was close to the condo entrance. Only one flight of stairs to our second floor condo.
A condo had all of the amenities and was definitely waterFRONT!…You can snorkel right outside of the condo.
There is a nice pool and a community barbecue.
CON: It would be helpful if a cooler, umbrella, beach chairs, snorkel equipment came with the condo. However, it seems that there is now one beach chair, a couple of boogie boards, and some kind of beach tent that someone must’ve left behind.
Overall a fantastic stay!!! Loved it!!

We had a wonderful time in this condo. The location is so close to the ocean. I enjoyed sipping my coffee every morning listening to the waves and spotting turtles. I. The evenings it is the perfect place to watch the sun set. My kids and I enjoyed snorkeling off the beach. We saw many different fish and again turtles. The property is very quiet and tranquil. The condo itself was comfortable and perfect for our family of four. The only thing is it could use some updates but honestly who is inside when you’re in Hawaii! We would definitely stay there again.

This was the perfect location and condo for our family of 4. It was close to every beach we wanted to get to and around a good amount of shops, eateries, and decent neighborhoods. We were there for 8 days and loved that it was on the second floor and had 2 stories with bedrooms upstairs with 2 balconies overlooking the beautiful ocean. The place was mostly tidy and clean with plenty of towels and kitchen necessities to cook lunches or meals as needed. Only thing was that the fridge seal was not great so it perspired at times inside. And we would have liked the drier to exhaust outside of the closet that it is in as this caused dust to fly around and the bottom room to overheat whenever we dried clothing. Also wished that the condo development would have had a hot tub, all in all it was great!

Just got back from staying at this condo. The pictures for the listing are NOT accurate! If you are looking for a beach outside your condo, this isn't it! You must walk down some steps into the ocean, depending on tide levels, to get to a small stretch of sand that is your beach. This can be quite treacherous if the tide is high. The views are amazing out your balcony window. Speaking of balcony, the doors leading out the balcony on the first floor do not lock properly and the ones off the master bedroom are almost impossible to open at all.
Be prepared to buy beach chairs, and a cooler since none of these are provided. Go the extra miles to Walmart to buy your beach chairs because the ones at Ace will cost $40 apiece. Why the host refuses to provide these essential items to her guests is an indicator of her lack of caring about your experience at her condo. If you read the reviews you will notice she never responds to anything negative that is said in past guests comments.
The condo was outdated and the beds were very hard as other guests have mentioned. It served our purpose as a place to return to after our adventures of the day but I would not recommend staying here. There are lots of places to choose from. This host needs to up her game if she wants to compete. I have stayed in lots of vrbo properties and this was very disappointing.

We have stayed in Maui a few times now and have stayed at 5 star resorts in Wailea and Kapalua but this was hands down the best. Big resorts are nice and have their place but can be such a hassle. The condo is well appointed and had everything we needed. Huge bonus of having a washer and dryer and great A/C. Very clean, beds comfortable and incredible views. Easy parking, steps away from the water with great snorkeling with a wide variety of fish along with the bonus of turtles every day. We will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone who is looking for a great Maui vacation.

The property was very clean and nice. The inside of the condo was clean and had everything we needed.
The private beach access was perfect and we used the bbqs by the pool several times while the kids swam.
We didn’t really need to leave the condo area. We had everything there.

We had a lovely stay at the Lokelani condo C201. The views from the condo are absolutely gorgeous, and you can hear the waves crashing from the living room and primary bedroom. The proximity to the beach and water is very special, and made our trip. We saw so many whales and turtles from the lanai -- wish I could still be out there right now!
The condo is definitely outdated in terms of appliances and furniture, but it didn't really bug is. The biggest con of the weekend were the beds, which were not very comfortable (especially the pull out couch -- you can literally feel and hear every spring in there!), but for us the views made up for it.
The coffee pot is not reliable - twice it overflowed and made a huge mess, and twice it worked well. Not sure exactly the science behind it, but there is a Bad Ass Coffee spot a short walk away which I would recommend over trying your luck and potentially having to clean up the mess. The only other thing to note is dishes in the cabinet were not all clean, so just be sure to check that.
Overall, I would love to stay in this complex again, just maybe try a different condo with hopefully different beds.

The property had a beautiful view. The pictures for the property show a beach in front of the house. There is no beach. When I reached out to the property owner I was told it was tide and weather dependent. There has been a seawall built in front of the property so no beach. Asked neighbors that lived there and there has been no beach here for years. The picture needs to be changed on the listing.

As the pictures show, this unit is steps from the sand and water. 13 minutes south to Lahaina and 10 minutes north to Kapalua with tons of restaurants and beaches in between. 5 minutes to Times Market (big/well stocked)grocery store. No need to bring your sound machine because the lapping waves will put you to sleep instantly. Saw whales off shore during the day and 4 to 5 sea turtles slept on the beach most of the 8 nights we were there. The upstairs deck is open to the stars (amazing view but some light pollution) Sunset views over the islands to the west are spectacular! No road noise and quiet & friendly neighbors/travelers in other units. Reserved/close parking spot a big plus. Pool, grass and outdoor BBQ's are well maintained. Well stocked plates, glasses, silverware, utensils and cook/storage ware. Price, location and everything stated above make this a great place. Furniture is good but building & unit are a little bit dated (i.e. rollers on the upstairs slider are shot making it hard to open). Built in microwave was broken on arrival but management was plugging in a countertop replacement within 40 minutes of email (great service!) and took down info to replace existing microwave. We have stayed at many, many VRBO's and overall would recommend. Thank you for sharing this unit with us!

From the second we walked in the condo we knew we made the right choice! There was literally a rainbow every day and evening over the ocean. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean was phenomenal after a day filled with activities on Maui! And we saw sea turtles in the surf and sleeping on the private beach every evening.
The property manager sent someone out the very next day to address a few mechanical issues. Gotta say the communication with them was on point!

Our family of 6 had a great time during our 7 night stay here. The views are even better than the pictures. Private beach right outside, not crowded at all. Turtles swimming up to sun bathe literally every single day we were there. Perfect snorkeling location as well, bring your snorkel gear you will need it. So many colorful fish, no need to pay tons of $$$ to go elsewhere. Supermarket and a few shops and restaurants within a 15 min walk. Amazing sunsets, I can keep going on on, would definitely come back. Condo also had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. AC is a must this time of year, we were very pleased with the AC units keeping both floors nice and fresh. Thanks!

We loved this condo! It was in the perfect location. We saw turtles on or near the beach daily, our first day we arrived to a sea turtle and monk seal on the beach! Having the quiet little beach accessible was a huge win! There were a few little things that could be improved for an even better experience - there was no cooler, we bought a soft-sided cooler and donated it to the condo so hopefully future guests will have a way to keep food/drink cold at the beach or out on excursions. The beach chairs are the cheapest available - not a huge deal but for a few more dollars, having chairs that actually recline would be nice and wouldn't cost much. The other small thing was the amount of beach towels. There were 4 beach towels for our family of 4. Having kids in and out of the water throughout the day meant drying the towels to have them dry for the next stint in the water. Also not a huge expense to add 2-4 more beach towels so you could have a rotation. All in all it was a great time and we wish we could've stayed longer. This little condo is a great find!
