We have stayed at the Lokelani before and love it! The location, parking, cleanliness and proximity to everything make this an easy choice. Peter and Michelle were excellent hosts and even left us a lovely gift basket for our 30th anniversary.
The condo was on the ground floor and well equipped with everything we could possibly want. Would definitely return again.
Note: We left two days before the Lahaina fires and are completely heart broken at the devastation left behind. We spent a lot of time in Lahaina and can't imagine the heart ache the residents and businesses are experiencing. Sending all our prayers to this beautiful community.

Peter and Michelle's property has the most perfect location and view (perfect sunset view) one could ask for in a home away from home. This was an immaculate, updated and very well appointed home that is hosted by friendly and thorough owners. In addition to a welcome basket, the location had beach chairs, umbrellas, nice boogie boards and lanai furniture and kitchen equipment. The condominium beach is small, but perfect for swimming and snorkeling and mere steps away. The multiple grills on property make dinner easy and my absolute favorite part was stargazing on lawn chairs inches from the ocean and beneath a palm. I am part Hawaiian with family on the Big Island (where we traveled to after for a family reunion) and my time at this location made me fall in love with Maui.

Very quiet, clean, private condo close to everything. Incredibly quiet. Online description and pics are accurate. Perfect size for my husband. More than 2 adults would be pushing it. Though it rasily sleeps 4 comfortably with the murphy bed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again (and hope to on our next trip to Maui).

This may be one of the best vacation rentals we've ever had. The condo was spotless, beautiful, and meticulously maintained. We had everything we needed and the check-in, check-out was easy. The bed was so comfortable I slept better than I do at home. We had stayed in Lahaina previously, but I like this Honokowai neighborhood much better -- it was more low-key and there were lots of great affordable eating options nearby. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

Everything was very comfortable and clean, and the condo was very well equipped. Just out the back door you have an incredible view of the ocean, where we saw whales breaching during the day, beautiful sunsets in the evening, and sea turtles resting on the nearby beach. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The location was close to everything you needed.
We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the whales and turtles swim by. The beach was nice and not crowded. The complex was quiet and the neighbors were very nice.

This ground floor condo was absolutely delightful. Only a three story building, off the road, and populated with people who have been coming back here for many many years. The condo is beautiful and functional and easy to live in, with well stocked kitchen andappliances. Walkable to the food trucks and Kaanapali Beach and just a short drive to the Napilli or kapalua, the small beach in front of the condo was a little rougher and rockier swimming after several storms had come through, but we did swim in it every day and 2 turtles napped on the beach every afternoon. Great hosts, easily available with prompt communication. We loved it!

We had a wonderful time. The condo was just as listed and the sunsets we stunning. The small beach was lovely and had sea turtles almost every day, what a joy. Our 5 year was thrilled that there were turtles and she could swim in the ocean or the pool.
The condo was super quiet and very well equipped. Short walk to public beach, coffee and shopping with dinning and groceries about a mile.
We loved it, I'm sure we'll be back.

Great place with all the necessary amenities and equipments. Everyday we had stunning views with best sunsets in entire Lahaina. Gorgeous ocean view from sunrise to sunset right from this condo! Only steps away from a small, quiet beach where our eight-year-old son would go multiple times a day for snorkeling, boogie board surfing, and watching turtles sunbathe! Peter and Michelle are incredibly courteous, thoughtful, and welcoming. They furnished and stocked the condo with everything you need, kitchen items, beach chairs & towels, and A/C! It was wonderful.

You’re on the ground floor so no stairs needed to walk out of the unit. The ocean is directly in front of you so the view is amazing from sunrise to sunset (and you can see both right from your back patio). There is a Murphy bed in the wall instead of a fold out couch in addition to a regular size couch. It was perfect for our teenage daughter. This allowed us to use the couch even when the bed was down. There are 2 TVs available so everyone wasn’t required to watch the same thing at the same time. Everything in this unit is high quality: the appliances, fans, TVs, etc and everything works. We used the stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. There is an AC unit in the bedroom but if you leave the bedroom door open, it blows through to the livingroom area. With ceiling fans in both areas as well as a box fan available, we never had a problem staying cool. Beach access is just a short walk (maybe 30 yards?). You walk out your back patio, take a right down the concrete path and take a few steps down for beach access. This is a smaller complex so it’s not crowded at all. We would rebook this unit in a heartbeat.

Our only complaint is that we can’t stay longer. Perfect location, literally ocean front with a small beach where the turtles sunbathe every day! Location is perfect for farmers market, shopping, and hiking. This home has anything you could want or need-kitchen items, beach chairs & towels, and lovely a/c to sleep when it’s hot! Owners very thoughtfully furnished and supplied this beautiful condo. We didn’t use the Murphy bed (only two of us) but I bet it would be good for kids or another adult. Don’t hesitate-BOOK NOW!!!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay here.
- Relatively quiet and nestled back off of the main road.
- Beautiful ocean front view where we were able to relax inside or on the lanai and watch lots of whales.
- The private beach was great. The first day we went to it there were three turtles taking a nap on the beach.
- It was very nice to have the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.
- Very clean and well stocked.
- Great location with easy access to great public beaches and shops, restaurants, etc.
- We were not in need of anything, but the owners checked in and made it clear that they were readily available.
In summary, it was a large part of our best vacation ever!

Comfortable, clean, updated, with amazing ocean view! Peter and Michelle are great hosts- very helpful, and responsive, and welcoming. Condo has all the amenities that you need. Parking is easy. Walking distance to a couple of shopping plazas, but be warned, food is hard find after 7pm. We look forward to staying here again.

We stayed for a week in February. The weather was perfect. The condo was clean, comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen, including a gift basket of coffee and goodies left for us by the owners! The best part of the condo was its location. Close to Lahaina, shopping, restaurants and tour excursion departure sites. And everyday we watched for whales from the lanai and every evening was a beautiful sunset. Thank you Peter and Michelle for a wonderful VRBO experience.

We loved our stay at the condo. It was very clean and well organized. Also liked the beach towels, high quality beach chairs, small cooler and umbrella, which we did not use. The condo is as described on the first floor with walkout to a patio and the ocean beyond. You can see the islands of Lanai and Moloka'i, right in front of you. There were lots of whales in January. They also had high quality binoculars for whale watching. Two to three turtles came ashore on the small beach to the right of the condo every day to rest. You can also snorkel to the right of the beach, plenty of fish and sometimes a turtle or two. We enjoyed the recommendation of Teddy's Bigger Burgers. The condo and grounds are never crowded as it is one building facing the ocean and only three stories. Nice and quiet unless you want a mega crowded resort. The host was fantastic and responded quickly. We would stay there again. It is also conveniently located to Napili and Lahaina. We had a car which was great to explore the island, road to Hana, Haleakala and many other sights.

We instantly felt welcome here. The homeowners left us a gift basket, and the space just felt inviting. We watched whales off our Lania every day, and watched the sunset every night. Bed was super comfy and new, we had all the ammenities we could think of. We already have friends who want to book this place. Highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We woke up every morning and had coffee on the lanai to enjoy the ocean view and ended our day with a glass of wine and the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen.
The property is well maintained and had everything we needed. Kitchenware, washer and dryer, beach towels, small cooler and beach chairs. We were blown away at the attention to detail and what a surprise to see a welcome gift left for us!
As my husband said, "Well I don't think we can ever stay anywhere else"!

The condo was very clean. It had everything you needed, if you cooked some meals yourself or just stayed for the night. The Murphy bed in the living room is great. Very comfortable, our 19 year old son and 15 year old daughter slept on it. The view .... wow wow wow. Right on the water, beautiful sunsets, quit, relaxing and just a few steps into the water. Highly recommend this beautiful place. Hope to come back someday!

We absolutely loved the location of this condo. Perfect setting, awesome access to a small beach (which was not crowded) and was visited daily by majestic sea turtles, nice pool as well. This condo was perfect for our needs. The view is unbeatable! Picture every morning, sitting on the ground floor lanai with iced coffee, looking out at the glorious blue ocean, feeling the cool breeze, and listening to rustling palm trees. And every evening, watching the sunset over the water while sailboats drift by. Walk a few units down to the sand and dip in the warm water. Be sure to look out for turtles resting on the beach and swimming by. Everything in the condo was new and clean. We appreciated having a comfortable Murphy bed instead of a couch bed. The condo had a fully appointed kitchen so we could easily cook and make our own blended drinks, all while gazing out at the nearby water. Having air conditioning in the bedroom was a huge advantage too, and it easily cooled off the entire condo. The complex was quiet, though that probably depends on who else is vacationing at the same time. It was definitely a nice family complex. And the location was perfect for walking to nearby shops and bigger beaches, or driving to plenty of shopping and restaurants. The owners were so wonderful and communicated quickly. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a perfect Maui vacation!

We had a wonderful time on our vacation and really enjoyed the location and views. We didn't have to go far to swim, snorkel and enjoy the sunsets.
The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked most of our breakfasts to eat on the patio.
We had great communication with the hosts and the air conditioning in the bedroom was nice when it got warmer in the afternoon. Would love to come back here again.

The unit has nice upgrades as advertised. The location is close to many things to do including a great coastal walking/picnicking park.
We saw several sea turtles but the best part of this condo is the 180 degree view of the ocean which is essentially your backyard. Also, the stargazing is wonderful!

My husband, Brian, and I were on a much needed vacation. I felt so lucky to have found these condos. The ocean view and accessibility to the ocean were perfect. The unit was well stocked, we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I couldn't believe how quiet it was there as well. Even having an assigned parking spot was such a nice thing. I am so grateful to our hosts for even offering a welcome basket! The personal touches did not go unnoticed. Our one week stay at Peter and Michelle’s condo was absolutely amazing. Let me start with the view…STUNNING. If you’re looking for oceanfront views, then look no further. This property is literally steps away from the ocean. We were definitely spoiled with the beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets that we will probably never want to rent elsewhere in Maui ever again!
The condo itself was one of the nicest rentals we ever stayed at. The unit was SUPER clean and was stocked with everything we needed, including kitchenware and beach necessities. We truly felt at home during our stay. We were even greeted upon our arrival with a lovely gift basket filled with Hawaiian goodies and coffee! That was such a nice gesture from the owners!
Peter and Michelle were very easy to communicate with and we’re quick to respond when we needed something or had questions.
If I could rate this property beyond 5 stars, I would! If you’re looking for a spot in Maui, I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed with this one!
P.S. To any future renters, please be on the lookout for the snail that comes out at night right at the edge of the lanai on the grass (it’s really big!). Our 9-year-old named him Fibo, and she is very worried that someone may not see him and step on him. :)

Have been coming to Maui for 20 years. This condo is located in the area that we always stay. It was the best one we have ever stayed at in all this time. It was clean, well appointed, and really so close to the water that you could throw a shell into the ocean from the Lanai, not that we did. What a great job of renovation.
It was very clean and had everything that you might need to enjoy on your special trip on Maui. I will defiantly be back. Owners are very easy to work with and left a beautiful welcome gift. Best ever.

Stayed for 7 nights this summer and loved it !
location is perfect - Just few steps away from the water, and with a nice swimming / snorkeling beach right by it. On multiple mornings, we saw Turtles lying on the beach .
The property itself saved fine for our family of 3. Kitchen was well stocked and the beach accessories also served us fine. We never had to use the A/C, but it was good to know it was there for a particularly stuffy night.
Owners are easily accessible and very helpful with any issue you may have.
