Beautiful view with such easy access to beach. Calm waves while we were there and loved seeing the turtles every day. We enjoyed drinking coffee and having meals on the lania. Could use some updating but over all a great experience. We did have the fire alarm wake us up in the middle of the night. They did come and replace it the next day. Would be nice if they provided a couple of beach chairs and some more beach towels. But you can't beat the view and proximity to the beach.

We happen to arrive when it was a very good time to watch the whales go by. Lot's of activity going on all day. We sipped cocktails and enjoyed the epic view. The condo was just wonderful. We used the BBQ outside on the patio. We took a dip in the pool. When we walked onto the beach, we saw two large sea turtles sunning on the sand, and we learned they sun at this spot regularly. The condo is close enough for a short drive to places to eat.We will be coming back.

We so enjoyed our time in this wonderful condo!! Everything was so nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location was great and a short run to good snorkel beaches and town. With all there is to see on Maui, we spent our first several days away from our home base but ended up enjoying our last few days in the condo the most! The whales were very active and made for great viewing from the balconies. We also spent a good deal of time watching sea turtles from the balcony. Between the views and the snorkeling from the condos beach area, we were set!!

We so enjoyed our time in this wonderful condo!! Everything was so nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location was great and a short run to good snorkel beaches and town. With all there is to see on Maui, we spent our first several days away from our home base but ended up enjoying our last few days in the condo the most! The whales were very active and made for great viewing from the balconies. We also spent a good deal of time watching sea turtles from the balcony. Between the views and the snorkeling from the condos beach area, we were set!!

We had to continually clean water up and eventually placed a pan inside to catch the moisture from lack of seal. The sliding glass door is extremely difficult to open. The stove has been scrubbed so hard that there is zero print showing you temps so you don’t know what temp you are cooking on. The carpet is really dirty and stained. We rented another unit in the building and it was cheaper and much nicer. I would recommend another unit. On the other hand- if you don’t care about the living conditions, this place is quiet, the water is great and you can watch the sun set every night.

Property is on the older side but in good order. The condos are about ten feet from the ocean. There are great steps down to the beach which is semi-private. There were so many turtles we began to lose count. The condo is a bit dated and has a few items that need addressing but absolutely nothing was a deal breaker. Do take note this unit does NOT have A/C so my advice is don't book it, then complain later. The ocean breezes and sounds of the waves is all the A/C needed. If you are delicate, make sure you find one with A/C. We knew going into it and loved it! Everyone on property was friendly and welcoming and judging from the guest book, people go back time and time again.

The 2 bedroom condo was fantastic. Very clean. The location is about 20 feet from ocean and we enjoyed beach right outside (during low tide). Waking up and feeling like we were in the ocean was great, with Molokai island in distance. So peaceful.

Just calling it "an excellent view" does not do this property justice. The view from both the living room and the master bedroom or ocean front, unobstructed, seawall, beach, ocean, Lanai and Molekai. We had a sea turtle visit us nearly every day and the crashing waves meant we did not need a white noise machine to sleep each night. Although the property is a bit dated, it is clean and well maintained. We didn't find the pool useful, would have been nice to have a hot tub. The property does have several outdoor grills which we made use of and the management company was very responsive to some minor maintenance items we noticed.

This is a wonderful location. Could not be a more perfect setting/location. Literally walk a few feet to the beach. Several guests were snorkeling along the beach. The beach is not long and wide, it is small. At the time of our visit, the waves were coming in against the rock wall which makes the beach smaller. There is a staircase down to the water, where you can reach the sand. The turtles visited the beach a few times, which is a unique experience. There is a swimming pool which was cleaned each morning. The ground level 1 bedroom units have grass as they walk out of their lanais. There are communal lounge chairs on the grass for sunbathing or relaxing. Management was great with communication from reservation to check out. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. A coffee shop is within walking distance (Bad *** Coffee). Farmers Market is next door to the coffee shop. It is primarily a health food grocery store, but you can purchase some staples for your visit. Two other good places within walking distance are Fish Market Maui & Honokowai Okazuya. Take out only and you must wear a mask. Fish Market has fresh fish to BBQ at your condo, as well as cooked selections. They do have tables outside, but not many. These two restaurants are a couple of doors from each other. The grounds of Lokelani are impeccably kept. C203 does need maintenance and upgrades, however. But overall, it had everything we needed. Two lanais (upstairs & downstairs) made it easy to watch the sunset, have morning coffee, or just watch the ocean waves. There is a nice, small park along the beach, across from Bad *** Coffee (with restrooms). There are tables, or you can take a chair to sit in the sand. Old Lahaina Luau was wonderful. It's about a 10 minute drive to get there from Lokelani, depending on traffic. The Maui Princess dinner/dance cruise was fun also. Highly recommend Lokelani Condos!!

We love this property. It is so close to the ocean and it has a great view of the sunsets on the two balconies. It doesnt have AC so it can get a little hot in the afternoon but was fine with fans on and doors open the rest of the time.

great location - could not be beat! the beach in front of the condo is just perfect. We snorkeled every day and saw turtles every single time. We were close to food shopping and restaurants. The only 2 complaint are that
1. there are barely any bowls and only 2 wine glasses
2. The lack of AC. If you are used to having it, you may find the apartment a bit hot in the afternoons. Although it cools off at night, we found it difficult to sleep in the heat.

We absolutely loved the location and you could not get a better view. The only thing I will say is there is quite a difference in the two rooms. The king sized bed has an amazing view with a balcony where you can hear the ocean all night. The twin beds window is small and faces the parking lot and you cannot hear the ocean at all. If you are going with friends just take the difference in the rooms into consideration.

We had a group of 6 adults this trip and we all slept very comfortably without air conditioning. We kept the sliding doors and windows open to let the cool breeze in. They have ceiling fans and floors fans available also. The beds and pillows were all comfortable including the fold out couch with plenty of extra blankets which we did not use. Our only complaint if any, was that it got hot in the afternoons when the sun shone directly into the master bedroom and living room. However, this also led to spectacular sunsets!!! We went swimming daily with the turtles and fishes in the ocean to cool down. The view is breathtaking from both lanais which allowed us to watch turtles swim by as we ate or drank our coffee/drinks. The master bedroom lanai also allowed us to view the evening sky filled with so many stars! The waves were relaxing but also got loud after a while so bring ear plugs to drown them out. The kitchen has everything you need including a large blender for drinks and a 3 cup rice cooker. There is a grill on the lawn area below with nice cooking tools for us to use including a fish griller. Seasonings were limited to salt and pepper so bring your own spices. They were kind enough to give detergent for washing clothes and also for the dishwasher. There are no beach chairs, boogie boards or snorkeling equipment at all but lawn chairs and lounges are available for use on the lawn. There is limited shade so we left our beach umbrella in the closet. There is a Times supermarket, L&L and ABC store close by and an area where 7 food trucks park every evening about a mile away. This is a fantastic place to stay right on the water literally steps off a private beach where turtles sleep nightly. We had a magical time and would love to stay here again. Mahalo nui loa!!!

I stayed in C203 with my Mom, sister, and 2 nieces. We were all so very happy with our stay at Lokelani. The breathtaking views, the access to the ocean and a pool, the ease of parking, and the quiet environment was all exactly what we needed. We did unfortunately need to contact to the rental management 2 times during our stay. They were so quick to respond and help. The upstairs toilet handle broke and was repaired within the hour. The only issue, if you call it that, were there were not enough mugs for the 5 of us. We made do and shared. We cooked a lot and my Mom was missing a spatula. It was so nice to have a purified water container, that was constantly used. I am not sure if there was AC in that unit, but that would have been nice. C-203 is absolutely beautiful and was very comfortable for the 5 of us. We would like to return! ~Nicole

The unit is really desirable, being on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We kept our sliding glass doors open most of the trip to achieve a pleasant air flow. It's on the right side of the complex making it incredibly convenient to the quaint beach that belongs to only a few condos. You can watch paddlers, kayakers go by, and surfers catch waves. We had a few turtle sightings here as well.
The ocean has some rocks but you can avoid them. The snorkeling is so so here. You have to go pretty far out. 5 out of 10 due to turtles. The waves while we stayed were interesting as they come in from both directions often. Creates wonderful loud ocean sounds and is fun for kids to catch with boogie boards. It can also be super calm at times, and clear.
The unit itself worked well for our family. My son and daughter were able to share the room with the twin beds. They complained about it being a bit too warm and ran the fans.
The kitchen is nice, and pretty well stocked. Plates and bowls are a bit hodgepodge. So convenient to have the laundry in the unit.
The stars were amazing here when the moon was hidden. We could see satellites passing by.
Great island location- 6 min to Downtown Lahaina. We loved hiking dragon's tooth ridge off Kaanapali area. Favorite beach was Napili. It's somewhat protected and has tide pools where turtles hang out and eat. Road to Hana is always a must and well worth it. We snorkeled there at the pier when conditions on the west side were rough.
A definite plus were 3 gas grills on site. The power went out and we were able to cook dinner that way. Also, the pool is clean, but was cold when we stayed.
We miss the view, the sounds, and the Maui beaches. Aloha!

Overall a good trip. We had low expectations given covid times and the place had not been rented for a while. The BBQ's are all low on propane and burners need replacement. The condo needs a salad bowl and need more coffee cups The frig needs a deep clean inside and out. The grounds look great and the pool was lovely. Super quiet times at the condo, with the exception of the owner next door was a busy body, in not a great way. The ocean steps are really really slippery, someone might get hurt these need cleaning badly. Like to see place is getting painted and painters worked around guest and we nice. I know its covid times, but they really need a paid onsite manager.

Front office manager Liz is a fabulous employee. She is professional, friendly and always willing to help. Her assistant HoKu is also a great additional. She is also very professional and friendly. They both made our stay very enjoyable.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for us and our two boys. We saw rainbows, turtles and whale spouts daily from our balcony and on the beach. We would stay at this condo again in a heartbeat on a future Maui trip.
