LOKELANI C-101 Features include all new furniture in Hawaiian motif, kitchen with all new appliances, granite counter tops, and ceiling fan, bathroom with onyx tiled walk in shower with seat, granite counter top and all solid brass fixtures, cable connected flat panel TVs in living room and bedroom, tile floor throughout, all new window coverings, internet connection for computer, floor to ceiling mirrors to bring in ocean views, door from kitchen to bathroom for guests in living room, recessed lighting throughout, New panel doors with brass handles throughout

C-101 is a condo with a private lanai that is just steps to Rainbow Beach. Rainbow Beach is one of the few beaches on Maui where you have a sandy bottom way out into the ocean with coral on each side for snorkeling. Plenty of sand on the beach for sunning and building sand castles. Rainbow Beach is very private because it is not accessible to the public. Swim in the close by pool when it is too dark to swim in the ocean.

C-101 will comfortably sleep four persons with a king size bed in the bedroom and a comfortable pullout sofa in the living room. There is bathroom access without going through the bedroom for guests in the living room. There are cable connected flat screen TVs in the living room and the bedroom and internet hookup for your computer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection microwave above a cooktop and oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer/dryer combination. The condo has double sliding glass doors along a full western wall to bring in the ocean views. Hear the surf 24/7.

THE VIEWS: West Maui is one of the few places where you see Molokai and Lanai at close range with a sunset therebetween. Watch for whales in the winter season teaching their babies to jump high to take a look at you. See the schools of jumping porpoise and fish. Enjoy the beautiful lava formed cove next to Rainbow Beach with draping flora which is highlighted at night by tiki torches. Watch the surfers and wind surfers and see canoe races and distant sailboats. Look into the ocean in front of the condo and see turtles and many varieties of fish.

THE EVENINGS: . Cook steaks on one of the many grills and have a dinner on your private lanai or at either of the two picnic tables next to the beach. Hear the surf 24/7. Swim in the pool when it is too dark to swim in the ocean.

WHERE ARE WE....
Lokelani is set back from picturesque Lower Honoapiilani Road that traverses other great beaches, walking distances to the little Lahuiokalani Kaanapali Congregational Church, great eating places, shopping center, strip malls, Farmer's Market food stands, parks next to beaches, flea markets and other condo complexes. A short trip on upper Honoapiilani Road takes you to Kaanapali where you have luaus, a 3 mile boardwalk along Kaanapali Beach, restaurants right on the beach, museums and a free hula show every night.

The only down part was the amount of tiny tiny ant like buds ALL over the counters in the kitchen, bathroom, crossing over the fridge and the wall in the bedroom. If they would come and spray more frequently I’m sure that would help the issue. They did put a notice on the door 3 days before our check out date about coming to spray but due the weather it didn’t happen. Understandable. But maybe before people move in make sure those bugs won’t be crawling over dishes and tooth brushes. You would wipe them off with your hand and you’d have a pile on your hand. Outside of that, this unit was beautiful and clean. Washer and Dryer were amazing. The view is amazing! This units does not come with beach toys or chaisr or anything like that so you’ll need to go to boss frogs for that but it wasn’t too expensive to rent. The pool was nice for the kids always clean and quiet. They keep the grounds really clean and tidy. We would definitely come back to stay in this unit.

We were able to see a turtle almost every day of our 6 days and we were lucky enough to see a monk seal come in and take a nap...right there at the condo's beach! The sunset view EVERY night is amazing. The condo was well-stocked, clean, and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay at this waterfront condo the location of the unit was absolutely perfect.The private beach is perfect for a day of snorkeling and turtle watching.You will need to buy or rent lawn chairs and beach umbrella as this unit does not provide them. Go to Costco to purchase them as its cheaper than renting them.Staff are very friendly and helpful any issues are taken care of immediately.The unit does need an update it showing its age but that did not affect our stay there.Rent a car as its a short drive to many beautiful beaches and shopping.Sit back relax and enjoy!

It is in a small condo complex/mostly rentals that attract couples and families. Even though our unit C101 was right by the pool it went mostly unused by everyone, it seems most renters stayed out the whole day. The waterfront porch/ lanai gave a lot of privacy, it was relaxing watching the sunsets and starry nights. The beach is tiny and rocky, visibility is poor but can make out some wildlife while snorkeling. We named the sea turtle Antonio tortugas. Thanks for an unforgettable vacation!

This unit is beside the walkway and gate for access to the ocean by other guests at this condo. Unfortunately several of the guests slam the noisy gate. Also noise from unit above unit is sometimes disturbing. Insects in unit even after exterminator. Emailed the management company and was told "That sometimes happens".Furniture outdated and smells. Bathroom and floors are dirty. Cleaning between guests may only be vacumming. Floor grout in bathroom is black in traffic area. Shower has black spots on grout.

The condo grounds are immaculate but this unit was disappointing. The owners renovated in 2010 and it could use a sprucing up. The bed box springs were torn and raggedy. A bed skirt would have helped. The patio furniture is old but functional. A newer set would help convey “resort”. The bathroom shower tile was the biggest problem and needed a through cleaning.

The highlight of our time was our feast in the barbecue area where we ate seafood and toasted the selfless and most treasured matriarch of our family that made us who we are. It was culminated with the most beautiful sunset of the week and we know Mom was with us all. It is a time we will never forget! Thank you Lokelani for providing the perfect place for the precious time!

Reviewer Comments: The screen on the door is upside down, the sliding glass door is frosted because of moisture so there isn’t much of a view through that door. The screen and door have been this way for years. Is there any hope of getting it repaired/replaced?This year it didn’t seem as clean as it has been in the past. We love Lokelani and hope the unit can be repaired and updated. The fire alert has been removed from the bedroom unit also. The leather chair was ripped and one of the dinning room chairs was broken.

We would rate it higher than 5 if it were possible. It's a small resort and is never busy. You are steps to the beach or the pool. We especially enjoyed the view from the lanai. It is so spectacular! Blue skies and blue water. It is a short drive to Whaler's Village and Lahaina where there are many restaurants and shops to choose from. Each condo has fully equipped kitchens if one feels like staying in and BBQs are located in different areas of the resort. The area is very quiet with only one minor drawback.. if staying on the first floor , people upstairs can be heard. Management are very helpful and friendly. We recommended it to some family members who can't wait to vacation there again!

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed the Lokelani Condo for our 30th anniversary. It is a lovely, small, complex. The unit is directly ocean front with a small swimmable beach. The unit, C101 was clean and had everything you needed including a washer and dryer, which is a nice addition. The managers, Karen and Liz, were helpful and friendly. It is easy to recommend this complex to friends and family.
