Ocean views from all rooms, feels like you’re floating over the water. Plenty of space. Saw turtles and whales from the lanai. Awesome tradewinds kept things cool. Melissa was always quick to respond. Beds were comfy. Furniture could use some updating. Whaler’s general store, shops and restaurants nearby. Parking space is tight.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved being right on the water and listening to the waves whenever we were at the condo. The kitchen is stocked well and we were able to make some meals which was great! We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The condo is less than a ten minute drive to several beautiful beaches. We so enjoyed the lanai and view! The condo was very comfortable, I let owner know about a few concerns that I’m sure he will address. We had great breezes but do wish the entry door had louvre to allow cross breeze at night. Nice complex, warm pool, friendly people. Beds were very comfortable, sofa sleeper not so much for an adult and needs to be replaced. Cleaning company needs to do better job and owner will address that. Very good communication and he appreciated my suggestions and input. We hope to come again sometime

Beautiful views and condo. Traffic noise but didn't bother me as I sleep harder than the others staying. The ice machine was not working and when I called for help the maintenance man reported he fixed it but never came. By the time they offered they come to fix this and help the bathtub drain faster, it was time for us to check out so said never mind. The concierge was as helpful as she could be.

Overall, a Great place. I saw several large sea turtles every morning while drinking my coffee. Proximity to local activities and eateries was good. Nice people staying there. Only things to improve is to purchase a knife sharpener for the kitchen and the condo's shared gas BBQ grills were often only partially functioning.

We had 4 adults stay, and 5 other family members visit. There was plenty of room to spread out. Lovely bedrooms, and fabulous views from the balcony, where we enjoyed looking for turtles every day. Everything was clean and neat.
Property was being worked on while we were there, lots of new plants going in, so I'm sure it looks even better now. The parking garage is kind of a tight fit, if you have an extra large SUV.
Melissa was very accessible, responsive, and friendly. We had a terrific stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the host was very quick with communication. The place is clean and looks exactly like the pictures. It was spacious for 6 people with a kitchen fully supplied for dining in. The lanai is huge and has amazing patio furniture with beautiful views. We also enjoyed having beach chairs and boogie boards to take to the beach with us.The reason I didn’t rate this 5 stars was for a few reasons but I would still recommend staying here:1. There was an incident one night where there was a mentally unstable man (not with anyone from the condos) yelling & chasing someone around 4:30am & the following night around 5am, I heard a woman scream. It was strange but thought this was probably not the norm. Later that night, we had a discussion about this incident & safety. We didn’t realize how loud we were talking & heard a banging on our door. We were hesitant to answer the door but when we did, it was actually the property manager banging on the door telling us she was calling the police on us. Considering we didn’t have any prior issues with noise, we felt her response was out of line but gave her the benefit of doubt with having to deal with the earlier incident. We told the host about this & she assured us this was not the norm & she would speak to the property manager on it. 2. If you are a person who needs AC, keep in mind this place doesn’t have it but does supply a few fans. We did have a guest sleep on the couch on the Lanai one night because she was too hot and did not like the Murphey bed. I slept fine on the Murphey bed and did not mind the temperature.3. With no AC, you will have all the windows and doors open so you’ll have to be mindful of your voice. We did have noisy people below us but didn’t complain. *We were gone most of the time, so the construction did not affect us much. You can lightly hear it from the room but not enough for it to bother you. I did la

This place was perfect. It has a really nice view of the ocean to enjoy with morning coffee. The pool was clean and refreshing with plenty of lounges to relax on. The beach gear that was provided by the owners was perfect. We spent a couple of afternoons at the beach. Including a small cooler for beverages. One of the best parts was the designated parking, so simple. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for the best time ever!!

You can't beat this place. The layout is great. Sleeps up to six and you have a corner apartment with views of the ocean out both sides! A direct view of the sunset over the ocean on one balcony and a great view looking out over the water out the other side. The kitchen is well equipped, the apartment clean and beautiful with a very open feeling throughout the place. You can look down directly onto the water and see turtles or watch whales if you are there at the right time of year. The apartment is facing the right direction so you only get sun directly on the balcony in the late afternoon. It is a great deal and a great place. I highly recommend it.

The place is nice. Great view. However, we booked in 2022.Between then and our reservation, we werent made aware of the construction scheduled. Had we, we would have moved our reservation. When we inquired about the construction, we were told that the owner did not want us notified. We paid close to $4000 for this rental to listen to hammer drills and pounding to the point where our walls shook.That alone is bad, but having that information withheld is absolutely dreadful. Upon emailing we were told things like, we cannot get a hold of the host, talk to the property manager and we are looking into how to compensate. They just kept saying that they were surprised it was still going on. Next thing is the property manager Lenore. We questioned her about the construction, she said she thought we were being refunded and that she's sorry but there's nothing she could do. Lenore has 2 cats running around meowing as early as 5 am. While there is no smoking in the rooms, the lady below us smoked several cigarettes per day. She shined a flashlight nightly up to rooms, and was argumentative with several other renters thru the week. Our power was out and we weren't allowed to use the pool or grills. When we asked to use her personal grill, she sneered "get in line". I pleaded to cook on the grills for my 3 kids, she told me to give them a piece of bread. During the 2 days without power and food, her and residents cooked ribs. We were luck the hotel next door let us grill there. Awful.

We checked in here the night before the massive Lahaina fire, and were stuck on the West side of Maui for a few days without power, Internet, or phone, but I have to say that if I'm going to be stuck somewhere without these conveniences, this was a very comfortable place to stay. It is a wonderful condo, comfortable, amazing views, and surrounded by some great people who live in some of the other condos that we met while there. Maui definitely needs time to heal and rebuild, but when it opens back up to visitors, I strongly recommend this wonderful condo. And the owners were very helpful, quick to answer questions, and concerned for our safety while there during this tragedy.

The apartment was clean and is very comfortable, with good beds and linens. Also very well equipped with everything you need including cooking stuff (maybe even more than you need).
We had problems with ants but the management sent people right away to deal with it.
The ocean view is amazing… you see turtles and seals passing by all the time from the balcony.

The sunset view is just amazing every night! And if you can stay up to see the moon set even more beautiful. Clean property all around. Being on the end was really nice getting the cross draft and the sun not shining all morning long. In regards to the ongoing construction, they crews set up right outside the room and the people working on the property were very respectful and didn’t really start working until after 8 am and remained quiet for the most part. So that wasn’t an issue. We would definitely stay again!

The unit was very clean and had a Hawaiian vibe. The views were breathtaking. The owner was very courteous and always responded to our questions promtly. The only negative about this unit, and for us it was huge. There is no air conditioning in the unit-possibly even the entire building.
We tried everything to keep the unit breezy and relaxing; however , we were unable to do so. Even with multiple fans, every window and door opened-we never could get much relief. Mid stay we had to go stay at another property just to have air conditioning for one evening. I only say all of this b/c if you are used to sleeping with AC on 68-69 degrees and ceiling fans running all night-you might have a difficult time. It was this way for both my wife and myself.
If you are not hot natured and AC is not a priority-this is a fantastic place for you. The location is great-Lahaina on front street is 10 minutes away. Great golf courses that are close by and the blowhole is reachable in about 30 minutes.

This two bedroom, two bathroom condo on the seventh floor had beautiful views off of the large balcony. We appreciated having two bathrooms with two teenagers, and they each had their own twin bed which is a plus. We enjoyed the side balcony in the late afternoon because the main balcony got too much sun this time of day. There is no air conditioning, and this was slightly challenging at night because the July night air didn't cool down past 73 degrees. We were glad for the fans in the rooms and the large sliding glass doors for the balconies to get air flow, but this did make for some warm sleeping. Every evening we would eat dinner on the large balcony (at sunset when the lighting was easier and not so hot) and we would watch large sea turtles enjoying the shallow waters right below our balcony. It was nice having a covered designated parking spot.

This is our 4th stay at Hololani, each time in a different unit. We just keep coming back. If you are looking for a roomy condo, unbelievable views and a quiet atmosphere- this is it. Everything you need if you want to rest and relax. We have never missed having AC. The back room gets really light in the morning, and there is no way to darken it - so be strategic with who sleeps in there. Sofa bed is not comfortable. Everything else is spot on.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. After years of doing the high-end resort experience, we were looking for something more intimate and laid back. We were delighted when we first entered the condo and were blown away by the unobstructed western view of the ocean and only about a half pitching wedge from the breaking waves. We ate all our meals on the expansive veranda, watching the whales, sea turtles, spectacular rainbows and Venus and Jupiter shining brightly. The unit was very well furnished and super clean and every conceivable applicable/utensil to make us feel at home. Had one occasion to contact the property manager (My Perfect Stays) and they were amazing as well. We will definitely return, even though we have moved to Tennessee so it's a bit of a trek, but well worth the effort.

Loved the condo and location. It was perfect for our family trip. The grills outside were great to use and cleaned every morning. The downside is the management company: It seems they are in between management companies and so you get contacted by both yet the issues with the condo were unresolved. The condo bedrooms were dusty upon check in and the dryer had issues. I contacted the management company and they never responded until the end when they asked for a five star review- HA! I hope they figure this out as it's a great condo in an amazing location.

The view here is amazing! It was clean where you can clean - in other words, housekeeping cleaned it properly. It was just the rug in the living room is so filthy. I have a 3 & 5 year old that played everywhere and it really grossed me out whenever they were sitting on the rug. Highly recommend a new rug. The sofa also had a strange smell on the arm rest closest to the kitchen. Every time I laid down, I smelled it. Like an old shoe smell. The sofa was covered with a flat sheet too and I still smelled it.
Otherwise, I love having the washer dryer. Washed the towels on the daily. Like with any rental place that's not a hotel, it would be nice to have daily mail service. Otherwise it was an adequate stay.

I was afraid we would be too hot without ac but the island breezes were delightful and we all slept well at night. We had a vehicle so we could explore all the beautiful beaches and other attractions. We saved hundreds of dollars by having some of our meals here. We would have needed two hotel rooms for the 5 of us. Here we could all be together, yet still have some privacy. Having 2 bathrooms was a luxury. We used the beach chairs and boogie boards and appreciated the welcome gift. Grocery store, Snorkel Bob's, village coffee and Mauri Brewery are a short walk away across the street. Resort pool was accessible. We loved our stay.

This will be a mixed review. The parking is covered. The location is great. The view is wonderful! The pool and grounds were nice and very clean. The condo was clean and everything was in good working condition. The kitchen was adequately stocked. Extra towels including beach towels. Four sand chairs and two boogie boards. The furniture was fine. We only used one tv once to watch golf while we packed. It worked fine. The lanai was a top priority for us and it was great for evenings when there wasn't a breeze. But unfortunately the slightest breeze blew us back inside because the lanai is open on two sides and creates a wind tunnel effect. One side is open to noisy busy street. That was really disappointing to us. One bedroom is on the ocean side. There are doors to close from the living room but no door to close to the shared hallway. The other bedroom is on the side of a very noisy street. You'll need earplugs. There is a door to close to the hallway, but there isn't a door to close to the bathroom. The window for that bathroom is only a screen. It opens to the bedroom not the outdoors. So anything that happens in the bathroom is shared in the bedroom. We didn't like the layout for four adults. We would stay there again, but not in this unit.

We had a great 8 days in this Maui condo. It being right off the elevator on the seventh floor was extemely convenient for access to the the car, the barbeque grills which were great. Each morning they were scrubbed to perfection. We used them several times and our food wad always perfect! The location was very convenient. I could walk to the Hawaiian Village Coffee in the morning for an expresso or brew some up in the coffee maker at the condo. We stayed in the ocean view room and found the bed to be comfortable. Plan on getting in the car for a beach visit. We didn't have any luck finding beach access nearby. All in all it was a great place to stay and we will use this condo in future visits!

We were told just a few days before our stay of construction on site. Upon arrival, the unit was clean and well appointed - except for lipstick on a wine glass and a large cockroach that seemed to live in the kitchen area. Those things could be overlooked. On our first full day we were out until 10pm and came back to the unit and couldn’t get in because the keypad wasn’t working. I messaged the owner who called me immediately to give the code for the lock box with the key. There were 2 keys, neither of which worked. We waited outside for about 10 minutes in total while the owner showed up to let us in. Again, frustrating after a very long day, but we dealt. Then, there was the parking. Our assigned space was used by someone else 2 out of our 4 day stay. Not the owners fault, but frustrating. Finally came the construction. The noise wasn’t terrible but on our last day, we went to the beach and just wanted to come back and shower before our dinner reservation. Only to have no running water. When the water was finally turned back on, it was cold. One or two of these things could be overlooked, but as a whole, we weren’t happy with our stay. The unit could benefit from a safe on site and also a lock on the master bathroom and a latching door on the master bedroom. I did convey all these issues to the owner who offered me a $50 refund. Wasn’t worth what we spent in my opinion.

My recent stay at this Vrbo property had its highs and lows. The mesmerizing view was undoubtedly the highlight, providing a sense of tranquility and beauty. However, the overall experience was marred by significant shortcomings. The property lacked cleanliness, with cobwebs in the Keurig machine and black hair on the sheets and pillowcases. Dead bugs were scattered across the kitchen floor corners, and dirty dishes were left unwashed. The relentless construction noise, including disruptive jackhammering, made relaxation impossible. Broken amenities included a leaking refrigerator requiring manual locking, a broken bathroom drain, and a malfunctioning screen door. Electrical issues in one of the bedrooms rendered power plugs unusable. The shower handle also popped off during the first use, necessitating immediate tightening. While the view was exceptional, these issues detracted significantly from the overall experience. This property requires better maintenance, cleanliness, and communication to meet guest expectations. Regrettably, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it. This is my first and possible last time using a VRBO.

This is our second time at Hololani and we really like staying in Kahana. We had originally booked a different unit which was no longer available. This unit is less exquisite than the other, but it met our needs and has a great view. There was plenty of toilet paper and dishwasher pods, along with some laundry detergent. The breezes flow very strongly through this unit, which kept us cool. The small safe for securing valuables was nice to have when we went out to the beach (which is just a short walk down the road). The kitchen has lots of dishes and cookware and we were grateful for the tin foil and plastic wrap!

We loved our stay. Condo is updated, well stocked and in a great location. Very comfortable for our group of 4. No air conditioning was only tough when we had to blow dry our hair. Otherwise the breeze was perfect. Would definitely recommend this condo and would definitely rent again.
Also the people that clean the condo complex (pool deck, chairs, grill) clean like crazy! I’ve never seen such sanitizing.
They are strict about quiet hours, but that made it nice and relaxing

Place was very spacious. Had everything we needed from glassware to laundry detergent. Walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. Was worried about not having a/c but ended up being very comfortable.

Wonderful unit, very clean and well stocked with essentials plus laundry detergent, dish soap/detergent, towels, and beach stuff. The balcony overlooking the ocean was awesome to watch sunsets and relax. A couple of the fans stopped working and the owner plus management office took care of that right away and replaced with new ones. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Our families rented 5 condos here while we celebrated our daughter's wedding at the Pineapple Chapel. We loved our room the most. The view was awesome. The beautiful ocean theme decorations added to the atmosphere. Everything was perfect! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! Hopefully we can visit again in the future.

Everything was great, But it would be better if you would install Cordless Light Filtering UV Protection PVC Manual Roll-Up Sun. The one my brother stayed in on the forth floor had it and it helped keep the condo a bit cooler since it don’t have air conditioning. Also the door vents are blocked off so I couldn’t open it. It would of help if I would had been able to open them to get that nice breeze to come in I would have to prop the door open through out the day. But out of luck at night since I was not about to leave the door propped open.

The property is so beautiful! The location is excellent and only a few miles from Lahaina. We saw turtles everyday. I highly recommend it!
