It was beautiful view and the condo was very beautiful complex. My complaint that didn’t even affect me was the pool manager below us, she was a bit out of control if you ask me. We didn’t use the pool but anytime kids did she was on a rampage over to the pool. I get being respectful foresure, but over the top military-like is not a fun environment either.

We had an amazing time staying here for 9 days!! Woke up every morning to drink our coffee and watch the sea turtles right from the room. We had one issue the last night we were there but that was completely out of the owners control and I refuse to fault them for other people's wrong doing. We kept smelling very strong odors of weed coming into the condo and people were smoking it in the garage which made our rental car smell of weed (even with the windows up). The pool and condo were both very clean!! I've seen some not so great reviews about the property manager but we didn't ever see her so I can't leave a review on her. Andrew answered any and all of our questions in a very timely manner and was very helpful with all our needs. The only thing I would change about our stay was maybe a window ac unit. The bedding felt a bit damp at night due to humidity but it was great to hear the ocean waves at night too. Other than that, it is a very beautiful place to stay and I would definitely recommend Andrew and his beauty wife as hosts to any of our friends and family. When we arrived, the condo was easy to find, and having assigned parking…(underground and secure)…made everything so simple—no stress at all trying to find a spot.The moment we walked in… it was beautiful. Clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like home. But the best part? Opening those doors and hearing the waves crashing along the shore. It was absolutely breathtaking. We even slept with the doors open just to fall asleep to that sound… it was that peaceful.I truly couldn’t have asked for a better place.The property manager was friendly and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience even better. And the host? Definitely a five out of five. They even had coffee and a few thoughtful little extras waiting for us—a sweet surprise basket that just made everything feel extra special.We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend staying here.

Apt has beautiful ocean and nice sunset view from balcony. Both rooms have window with ocean view. Apt is 2-3 miles away from Ka’anapali beach. Few local beaches are also within walkable distance. Apt has laundry, cooking range ane microwave. Parking is underground and free. Front of the apartment has mountain / forest view. Host is very prompt in replying and very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

The condo offers great views and is a good location. Amenities were nice. However the building lacks hot water. A week of cold showers was a bit much. Scrubbing sunscreen off in cold water everyday. Smoke detectors went off at 2am one night, batteries were 4 years old. The windows and curtains in the bedroom had mold on them, the place could benefit from a through cleaning.

The condo was beautiful, and in a great location. The set up was great with the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, especially with teens! I messaged the manager about a couple things and she was very responsive and helpful. Would absolutely recommend staying here again! The parking and access to beach accessories was also a breeze as well!

We came for the whales and weren't disappointed. The views here are incredible and we spent hours on the covered lanai whale watching and saw some amazing displays. Our trip coincided with severe weather and most of our beach and boat plans were canceled, so we spent a lot more time indoors than anticipated. This condo is thoughtfully stocked with plenty of books, games, and kitchen/baking supplies that kept us busy. Andrew, the owner, is a gracious and accommodating host who was easy to reach when needed throughout our stay to address any unexpected issues from the storms and to make suggestions to local businesses for alternate plans. I would definitely book this condo again and highly recommend it.

The views from this condo were absolutely breathtaking!! We will never forget the moment we stepped in and saw whales jumping from a short distance away. Then we looked down from the balcony and saw 3 sea turtles in the emerald green water. The location was perfect and centrally located close to shops and dining, but we felt like we were on a secluded island when sitting on the balcony. Andrew is one of the best hosts we’ve ever had and responded quickly to our questions. Thank you, Andrew, for our happy memories!

We have stayed at Hololani many times in several different units. We love the location, views, size of the complex. This was the worse one we’ve ever been in. There were several things wrong, not the least of which cracks and hole in the wall above the hall toilet, this toilet did not flush properly it took at least 3 flushes to get anything down. The property management did come out right out to fix the toilet but it still didn’t work, Several other things, I gave a list to the property management and hopefully they will get these items fixed. We left 4 days early because of the Kona storm, and let know so maybe they will have a chance before the next renters.

The condo was exactly as advertised - clean, spacious, beautiful view right on the ocean, with all the ammenities needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, our timing had us there during the 2026 march flooding and our condo was safe and secure the entire time. The property manager was great and kept up with all the grounds keeping/flooding. The neighbors were kind and we all enjoyed the pool area nicely together. Even with all the neighbors, our condo was quiet. 10/10 would highly recomend!

The view was fantastic! We saw whales from the balcony every day and turtles most days. Captain Jack's and Dollies are both good places to eat that are a short walk away. Lots to do without driving too far, although we did do the road to Hana and the summit of Haleakala, which are longer drives but well worth it. Great beaches nearby also. No complaints about the condo at all,it worked perfect for our 2 week stay.

This is a fabulous property! Clean and large unit with 2 full masters. The view is fantastic and great for whale watching (plenty of binonculars). Comfy beds and furniture and nearby restaurants to walk to if you choose not to drive. We were super excited that Captain Jacks restaurant had opened so close! We had a phenomenal 2 week stay! The condo had everything we were looking for: great space, gorgeous oceanfront views & perfect location. We were walking distance to many beaches, shops & restaurants. Others were a short drive. The condo was fantastic & equipped with everything we needed. Communication with Host perfect 10. Not having A/C was a little uncomfortable. I could not do it in the summer but since we were there in January it was do able. Nicely decorated (looks professionally done) and very nice construction materials used for the floors, countertops and bathrooms. Kitchen has everything you need. Looking out to the left you see the next building outdoor balconies and condo units which I didn’t love but it was still very quiet and looking straight out and to the right was the beautiful ocean. Very thoughtful starter supply of everything. Nice manicured grounds. We saw turtles and whales from our balcony. Very walkable area. Kahana area is a favorite of ours. Comfortable beds and pillows which is a huge and condo was CLEAN. We enjoyed out stay very much. I have been to Maui at least 18 times and was not disappointed. Safe friendly complex. Nice pool.

What a special trip! Lori and Adam were wonderful! My husband and I have been staying at the Hololani property for over 10 years. This was our first time staying in this beautiful condo and we are so glad we did. Also our first time bringing our 3 kids along and this place was perfect for all of us. Lori has this place stocked with everything you could possibly think of. Not to mention the storage in the garage with every water gear/toy you can imagine for pool and beach days. Everything is so well kept up. Adam was very welcoming and helpful when we needed assistance and he even called the day we left to thank us and make sure we had a great stay. Mahalo to Lori for allowing us to share our favorite place with our kiddos over the holidays! We can’t wait to come back soon!

To begin the condo is right on the water so that is nice. Bring binoculars if you want to whale watch. You can see them but they are way out there.One thing that seemed oddly missing is that the unit has no air conditioning which seems odd but may not be for Hawaii. There are ample fans but it would have been nice to know that there was no AC. It was hot in the primary bedroom but you could get a nice breeze going if you left the front screen door open as well as the back screen door.Another thing that was oddly missing was the fact that this complex was on a shared water system--much like a hotel I guess yet I have never run out of hot water in a hotel. We came up from the beach one day at 3 pm and--you guessed it--no hot water. My husband had to shave with cold water a couple of times. This is personally a deal breaker for me.There are also ants. I was advised by Joseph that that is normal for Hawaii but again it would have been nice to know ahead of time. He indicated that he communicated this but I couldn't find any arrival or departure instructions and I've been using VRBO for a while now. He also wasn't always quick to respond with instructions when asked either.The entire place could benefit from new paint. It's not bad just needs a refresh. I have rentals as well and get the desire to maximize intake and minimize output but after a while you have to bite the bullet.The very best thing about our entire stay was the back porch. To start things I would like to state how clean the room was upon arrival for being a ground floor beach side unit. There is little to no noise from other guests as it is a lower key resort, but that made relaxing so much better to us at least. There’s also no immediate beach in front of the complex but there is one easily within walking distance of the room. And this appears to be the last resort in the line. Because of this the view from the patio was far better than any other we saw nearby due to little to no foot traffic.In short: very clean, quiet and private, well stocked kitchen, garage parking so the jeep top can stay down, great ocean views from every window.
