The discription showed that it has AC but it did not. Wasnt a big problem but did catch me off guard. The unit was ok and it worked for us. The spare bathroom door would not shut and there was other things like that. Thats the reason for the reason the 3 star review. The parking was so tight we had trouble even getting in the car a few times because of the cement columns. The host was great with good communication. No major issues.

Unit was very nice and clean. Very nice view. Our family really enjoyed the swimming pool. Two things we could of used more of was dishwasher soap and laundry soap when there were five of us and staying for ten days. Bathroom faucets could use some work.

This place was exactly as described in the listing. The pool and hot tub were great. It was so great to be able to sit out on the deck and watch the whales in the ocean. The view from the property especially at sunset was great. The check in process and communication with all the details was clearly communicated, in fact was sent and given to us 30 days before.

The host was welcoming and consistently responsive, provided helpful information before and throughout our stay. Checkin and checkout were super easy. Most of all, we loved the property! Wonderful, small resort feel. Our teens spent a lot of time in the pool and loved that we never had to jockey for space. The condo was well-equipped, and we cooked at least once each day. Loved having beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc…really added to our beach days! The beds and showers were really lovely and comfortable, and we appreciated the in-unit washer/dryer!

We loved this place despite the apparent struggles this complex Is having with their sea walls. While the complex itself shows signs of wear and tear the place really is charming! The pool is small but clean and lovely. The views and sunsets from this condo are outstanding. Some things need attention though. The stairway rugs need to be deep cleaned as they are quite worn and stained. The shower doors do not close properly so quite a bit of water leaks out onto the floor. The bathroom sink drains very slowly. Even though these need to be addressed we would definitely stay here again. The place is roomy, well decorated, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, two large beautiful balconies overlooking the ocean, lawn and pool. It’s also close to the bus stop if you don’t rent a car.

The condo was perfect for our family of 7. We loved the pool and the two decks overlooking the pool and ocean. We enjoyed how quiet it was. We liked that we were in walking distance to Napili Market and Boss Frog's. The host John was quick to answer our questions which we really appreciated. We had requested a cot but did not actually need one as the fold out sofa bed was big enough for two people. The different levels of property management were a little confusing, but despite that we heartily give the condo 5 stars.

The listing has an incorrect address and we didn’t hear back when reaching out for help. A window in the second bedroom was broken and the AC was very difficult to utilize. We had a wonderful stay at this amazing unit. The view was incredible from the living room level and the master bedroom level. Kitchen and bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled with new appliances. The in-suite washer and dryer were really convenient. The car port was right next to main entry so it was easy to unload and load the luggage. There were plenty of towels in great condition and quality. The chargers for phone and/or camera were quite convenient. We had a great time playing with various board games and the record player was quite memorable -- I've never seen one before except in movies. Playing Ed Sheeran on a record was amazing. It reminded me how much we've relied on digital technology and all the time wasted on internet and social media. This was a place to put all that away for a brief moment. Jenn was an amazing host and she was readily available via text. The property grounds were well maintained. Trash and recycle bins were emptied in the common area. We didn't get to use the beach due to the winter high tides, but it would have been a wonderful place to build sand castles and snorkel.Thank you for a wonderful memory in Maui.

We had a great stay! Beds were comfortable, excellent AC and water pressure, and the beach gear was so handy. The My Perfect Stays team was very attentive to texts and needs. I wish it was a little more updated and could use a real deep clean, but it fills all our needs for a vacation spot in Maui! Kahana Sunset is a cute little community with BBQ, pools and beachfront spots. Great location close to Napili and Ka'anapali! Would recommend to anyone.

The location was great, it was central to many places and it was a quiet neighborhood. The views each morning were beautiful and it was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. We were even able to see whales from our top balcony. The condo was nice and clean and the host was very responsive. The kitchen wasn’t fully stocked though for a family of 7, which is the occupancy. It was missing enough utensils for everyone and some other key items, like pot holders, if you planned to cook to cook meals in the condo like we did. The viewing area of the bay offered beautiful views and the pool was very nice. At the time of year we stayed (December) the beach was inaccessible. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it very comfortable and roomy for a family of seven.

Host was welcoming. The condo had a strange smell to it when we arrived. Hardly any toiletries ( paper) in the unit. Beach chairs were old and ripped. Unit has a good supply of kitchen utensils ect. It was clean. Could be cleaner in the bathrooms. Some of the plug in outlets did not really work well. Just seems as though the owner may need to come and look into some small items to be updated. Tv was very slow to turn on. The complex itself was very nice and clean. Quiet.

We have stayed at the Kahana Sunset many times. The beach is mostly gone but the pool and grounds are still incredible. Unit C3 has a wonderful view. We love to pick up seafood at a nearby market and grill seaside in the reading area. The Hula Hideaway folk were great to work with.

Kahana Sunset c3 is a great value. The complex is quiet and well-maintained with ocean access and decent swimming and snorkeling opportunities. The 2-story, 2-bed, 2-bath condo is clean, spacious, and stocked with beach and ocean equipment. The air conditioning splits in both bedrooms and the main living area are a great amenity!The complex is a short drive from great food options like Miso Phat and The Gazebo, and several grocery stores are within a short drive. I saw some people walking to Kahana, but I would recommend driving due to the lack of sidewalks. The complex has a mix of 1-bed and multi-bed units. There are 4 grills available for residents and tenants and there is a dedicated parking space right outside the front door of the condo.The sea wall provides an unobstructed sunset view and you can see Molokai and Lanai from there too. There is a small, but very clean pool, and plenty of space to throw a football around.The property management company is responsive and we have very few issues, most of which we dealt with on our own. Be advised, there are a lot of steps, so this is not great for less-mobile people, but I recommend the condo for families and couples who want a more affordable and chill location than the Ka’anapali resorts.

We had a wonderful stay under the warm Hawaiian sun. The condo itself was lovely, very clean, and well equipped, with two balconies offering stunning views. The beds were comfortable, and the entire place felt quiet and relaxing — perfect for unwinding.We did experience an issue with the air conditioning, but as soon as we called, a technician arrived within 30 minutes. He completed the necessary maintenance and solved the problem in less than three hours. After that, the AC worked perfectly for the rest of our stay, which we truly appreciated.The kitchen had most of what we needed, but a few basic essentials were missing, such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, aluminum foil, and maybe a small cooler bag. We also noticed there were only four forks available. None of these were major issues, but adding these small items would make the experience even better for future guests.Overall, we had an excellent stay and truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely come back without hesitation.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Kahana Sunset. The unit was just as pictured. We loved the pool and kiddie pool in the complex and we were often the only ones there. There is a water filling station by the pool which is a nice touch. Parking right outside the door cannot be beat. Beds were comfortable, all amenities were provided including some great beach gear. This was our first stay in the Napili area and we will definitely be back. Hopefully for another stay in this unit! Thank you for a wonderful trip.

The location was great, with beautiful view of the ocean, the property dose have beach access, but sea is pretty rough where the propertt is so excercise caution if you're planning to use the beach. The pool , bbq and amenities were top notch and well maintained. The host was very friendly and easy to contact. Lots of things to do near the property. The apartment was a little dated, but it was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a great vacation!
