The condo was clean and very well stocked. Perfect location in West Maui. It comfortably fit 2 adults with 3 kids. Kitchen was well stocked and had updated appliances. It had all basic necessities for our 1 week stay. Also came with beach chairs and a large cooler. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great except for the bed in the main bedroom, it was extremely worn out you sink into each other, or to the middle if alone. Im not fussy, by any means but this mattress needs to be replaced, and this is not the first review stating this. I would absolutely be back if the mattress was changed.

We were in town for a wedding and booked our stay here afterwards for some relaxation. Unfortunately, because of the second smaller Kona storm, we were unable to swim in the ocean, or hike many of the areas because of flooding. Luckily, the condo was a great place to hang out! We did not see any turtles on the little beach, most likely due to the storm. We did use the pool, even in the rain, but did not find any pool towels in the condo. The only suggestion we really had was that the router needs to be updated in the condo. While watching movies, it would close out on us quite often, and we would have to do hard restarts that would take a long time to reset. Our IT traveling companion said that the routers are at least 14 years old. Would not have been as much of a problem if the weather would have cooperated and we were outside more. But the overall comfort of the condo was nice.

Our stay was pretty good. Communication with the property manager was great. They were easy to get in touch with and proactive about communication for check in and check out. The location of the property is great. Nice pool, nice outdoor space. Many Maui hotels have a rocky coastline but this complex has some beachfront. The condo had everything we needed. There is A/C which is a big plus. I was surprised to realize the condo has 2 large balconies. Weather kept us from utilizing them but it’s a really nice feature.Our biggest negative, which others mentioned already, was the condition of the property. The owners have neglected updates. The listing photos show the outdated kitchen & decor. No surprise there but the place has a smell, like old, similar to an antique shop. A few cleanliness items I noticed- the coffee pot had coffee grounds still in it. A glass from the cabinet was noticeably dirty which made me distrust and re-wash all the dishes. Our daughter was sick one night and I had to strip the sofa bed down. The mattress was about the oldest & nastiest I’ve ever seen. Thank God for mattress protectors but we didn’t sleep on it again.I would definitely stay with Sullivan Properties in this complex again but pick a different unit.

This is without a doubt a 10/10 place to stay. Carol is a phenomenal host and sets the bar high as far as hosts go. The location was perfection, and the condo itself was immaculate, stocked with everything, and as cozy and spacious as they come! Kahana Sunset cannot be beat; it’s most definitely a hidden gem in West Maui. Honestly couldn’t think of a negative about the place or our experience even if we tried. We are counting down the days until we come back!!!

Parking was very close to the accommodation and we had no problem finding a place to park. We loved being able to see the ocean from the unit and we saw multiple whale from the deck. The home was well cared for, the beds were comfortable and the decor was nicely appointed and very inviting. We spent 17 days on 3 different islands and Vonn's home was the best accomodation by far. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. Hopefully we'll be able to stay here again when we visit Maui again.

Would have been nice to get door code before arrival as office was closed and had to contact both owner and property manager. Also only one towel per person waa a little chinzy. We really enjoyed the location of the condo and our unit had a beautiful ocean view. No air conditioning, which would have been preferred, but each room had a fan and screen so you could keep windows and sliding doors open. For our March stay this was ok. Overall these were perfect accommodations for the five of us. The two things I would mention to consider if the property is a good fit for your needs:- The hot tub was not hot. It was the same temperature as the pool. That was disappointing because we were looking forward to that for the evenings. This was really the only complaint and the reason why I dropped it to four stars. - The beach was was nice and sandy; however, it's pretty small and you can really only utilize the beach and swim during low tide so not extremely ideal for young kids. Snorkeling is possible but mediocre compared to some of the nearby beaches

Host interaction was minimal, but that was fine because we didn’t really need anything. This condo is in need of some TLC. There have been some updates done, but many more are needed. The carpet up the stairs and in the bedrooms is just disgusting. Furniture is old and sad. Walls need paint. Just lots of general updates are needed. Condo grounds are well maintained and pool is nice.

The discription showed that it has AC but it did not. Wasnt a big problem but did catch me off guard. The unit was ok and it worked for us. The spare bathroom door would not shut and there was other things like that. Thats the reason for the reason the 3 star review. The parking was so tight we had trouble even getting in the car a few times because of the cement columns. The host was great with good communication. No major issues.

This place was exactly as described in the listing. The pool and hot tub were great. It was so great to be able to sit out on the deck and watch the whales in the ocean. The view from the property especially at sunset was great. The check in process and communication with all the details was clearly communicated, in fact was sent and given to us 30 days before.

Wonderful, small resort feel. Our teens spent a lot of time in the pool and loved that we never had to jockey for space. The condo was well-equipped, and we cooked at least once each day. Loved having beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc…really added to our beach days! The beds and showers were really lovely and comfortable, and we appreciated the in-unit washer/dryer!
