The condo unit itself was clean, updated, roomy, and was comfortably able to fit our family of 5. The king sized bed in the master suit was a treat, as was having two bathrooms, and laundry facilities. The "kids" room (a single and double bed), was perfectly decorated and very inviting for our children. Appliances were updated and functioned well. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The pool was clean, not crowded, and a perfect cool off spot for our children. There is a small sandy beach, with great snorkling right off the beach. We saw huge turtles in the water each time we went out! The location is nice, as it is quiet, but not too far from grocery stores, etc. in town. We used it as home base for exploring the entire island. The owners checked in through e-mail to make sure we were comfortable, and have been quick to answer our e-mails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend "Paradise Found" to others.

Perfect few days. The beach and cove are only accessible to the people at the Kahana Sunset which made it not only beautiful but serene. We saw lots of sea turtles. Perfect break.

Great location with beautiful ocean views from first and second floors. Condo was well equipped with everything you could need while on vacation. Renter was easy to work with and responded quickly to messages. Condo grounds are very well kept and beach area is great for families. Additionally you are close to Napili and Kapalua Bay, which are know for great snorkeling. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay here was amazing the pictures didn’t do it justice, the owner Jenn was very helpful sent us loads of recommendations to keep us busy when we were there, along with great directions on how to get to where we needed to be, views were stunning from the property and would stay again without hesitation, self check in was straight forward which was brilliant as we got there really late, a holiday none of the family will forget. The place was very nice. It was a wonderful location and we met a lot of great people. I was a little surprised that we were not right on the beech. The pictures were a little deceptive. They made us feel like we would be walking right out of the property on to the beech. This property is up the hill a bit.

Our first time visiting Hawaii with our friends, Jenn is absolutely amazing, response quickly and communicated well . Gave us a list of things we can do, restaurants, etc. The place was very clean, organized, good space, nice view and location was really quiet and nice. Jenn received us with a delicious coffee, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you Jenn for everything, can’t wait to be back and visit this beautiful island again.

Loved the views from the Master Bedroom balcony. Could see whales so didn't even need to leave the VRBO if you didn't want to. Kids loved having their own room. Master bedroom fan was a little loud, but overall a great place to stay.

What a wonderful VRBO experience for us. We arrived after dark on a Thursday for a long holiday weekend. The house was spotless. We cooked a couple meals at the house and found the kitchen to have everything you could need.
The location is perfect for accessing beautiful beaches and amazing restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. We would not hesitate to rent this beautiful property again when in Maui

Just got back from one of our best family trips! Our stay with our 2 adult daughters was wonderful! The condo is in a great location and we felt at home immediately. We explored the island, but we also enjoyed our relaxing days when we stayed at “our” beach and read books on the lounge chairs poolside and grilled dinner on the premises. On our last morning I saw a whale breach from the lanai! I would not hesitate to recommend and I hope to stay again!

I hadn't been to Maui in over 20 years and wanted something close to Kaanapali without being on the main beach. We were a very short drive from there as well as Lahaina.
Communication with the owners was on point. Very clear directions to location, for check in/ check out and amenities close to the property.
The condo was very clean and well appointed. The pictures are accurate. We traveled with 4 adults and a 10 month old and had plenty of space.
The building was set back with another one in front. The view from the living area was partially blocked, but the view from the master bedroom was stunning.
We had a Toyota 4 Runner and the parking space was tight (as most are anywhere you go in Maui). You will need to finagle a bit with parking to let passengers out and/or have to deal with a car seat for an infant. This is not a huge deal.
The pool was warm and clean and there were plenty of chairs out for enjoying the lawn/pool area. We used the bbq's twice for dinner which was great and also allowed us to meet others staying there.
The beach had limited access when we were there due to rough waters. We couldn't really snorkel in the cove, but that was due to weather. All of the beaches we went to during our stay had rough waters. The sand in the cove was actually washed away the night before we left. We did get to enjoy watching sea turtles swim in the cove on a daily basis!
There were beach towels, 4 beach chairs and snorkel equipment (we couldn't use unfortunately).
There is a market close by for supplies as well as a couple food establishments.
We would return and stay there again!

Wonderful location with private access to a small private cove. We rented paddle board/windsurfer and could store equipment on the lanai then walk it straight to the water. Unit had all the amenities we needed. Beds were comfortable. Only tricky part was the stairs. To reach the bedrooms you walk up half a flight of stairs and turn to the right or left and walk up a few more stairs. Not a problem for our family with older kids, but I can see it being inconvenient with the littles. Overall, a great place and we had a lovely time.

Beautiful and breathtaking property. This is a great gateway to Maui and gives you everything you could want. What a view! The water right out front isn't for swimming but you're close to really nice beaches and in a nice part of Maui that isn't overly touristy or crowded.

Communication from Jenn is excellent and honest right through our stay. The Condo is open and pleasantly breezy when we desired it, with the sliding door closed thee was no breeze - we tried it once, better with the breeze :). Appliances met our need for a family of 4 and though smaller were appropriate to the unit.
View in the pictures does not really do this space justice, it's less than 100 yards to the beach and 50 to the pool(s). plenty of beach chairs to share for both. Snorkeling was amazing at this beach with lots of rocks for fish and turtles (I saw turtles on every snorkel - which I did every day!) My son fished from the rocks very successfully (and released them all). Parking is RIGHT AT THE DOOR which is unique in HI. There was a loud group in our building which we could hear in the parking lot but not in the condo - good thing. We met many nice people in the adjacent units, used the very convenient grills (there are at least 6) that are thoughtfully set up on the property with tables beachside. 5 minute ride to the golf at Kapalua and about 20 to old town Lahaina.
I look forward to staying here again when we return to Maui!

This property was so nice and the location can’t be beat. Everything that was listed on the VRBO page was spot on. If we needed anything Jenn was immediately available. You can’t beat the ocean views from the deck. Watching the whales breach everyday was incredible. My family keeps asking when we can come back and we haven’t even left yet.

The Condo complex is a perfect setup for enjoying both the ocean & pool. Despite being full, it never felt crowded on the grounds. The unit itself is a little dated but the pictures are accurate. It is right across from the housekeeping storage room so there was some noise in the early morning on the parking lot facing bedroom. But not a big deal. We found all the beds very comfortable and slept well every night. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. We really appreciated having a cooler and 4 beach chairs for our island adventures. We had a wonderful week & can’t wait to come back.

This lovely condo has 2 balconies from which you can see whales, rainbows, and perfect Maui sunsets. There are gas grills on the beautifully landscaped property where you can grill up a quick dinner. The private beach is small but perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and there are big sea turtles and colorful fish there. The condo was clean and well appointed for a comfortable stay, check in was easy, Jenn was very responsive. We would love to stay here again the time we are in Maui!

Jenn's condo is just right! Private location facing the ocean. It had 4 Costco beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and ice chest - perfect for the days we spent on other beaches. The condo had everything we needed for the stay. The king size bed and bedding were perfect, really soft sheets. The grounds and maintenance people were the best, they clean the BBQ's every morning. We loved the private beach, the swimming pool, watching the whales at any hour of the day from the deck, the sunsets and the quietness of the location.
We enjoyed many evenings of wine & cheese with the sunsets & the whales.
Our teenager, and families with younger kids had fun at the pool & the private clean beach.
We even had a turtle swim within a few feet of us in the ocean.
Great owner communication—emails quickly answered throughout rental process & for visit checkin and checkout process.
We will most definitely be booking future stays in Maui with this owner.

The location was perfect - a 10 minute walk to Napili Plaza for groceries, coffee, and restaurants. The complex had great amenities: pool was maintained well, sea turtle seen during snorkeling, lots of grills and fantastic sunsets! Property layout worked well for us and Jenn was incredibly responsive to questions and proactive in communication. We would definitely stay here again. This location was perfection. It was the perfect combination of Hawaiian seclusion while having the convenience of city life. It’s close to great shopping and restaurants and also amazing beaches and snorkeling. The property was amazing having the private beach was our favorite part. Good snorkeling in the bay, swam with turtles every day (my favorite part of the trip) The provided chairs cooler and umbrella was good for the beach. The groundkeepers kept the place immaculate. The condo itself is older but clean and kept up. My family loved the property and would stay here again.

Absolutely no complaints with neither the place or the host, Jenn.
The place was wonderful, a private beach which is wonderful for sunsets. Any minor hiccups/issues were resolved immediatley by Jenn who was extremely easy to contact and communicate with.
Check in and check out where seamless, Jenn provides a very clear and concise checklist and instruction document which also included some wonderful reccomendations from food to activities.
AC units for the hotter months is definetly a must! Jenn has some available for rent at a very reasonable price.

This condo was just perfect for our stay. The owner was highly communicative and accommodating. The condo is located near enough to stores but not so close as to spoil the peace there. Also, we were steps away from the private beach where we swam and saw massive green turtles in the water. It was the perfect place for our family get away.

It was cleaned well, but the updates in the listing were over-stated. Furniture was nice but bathrooms badly in need of refurb. Same with kitchen. Not fun to cook in. Door slats let bugs in and in bad shape. View was nice. No problems with check-in or parking or security. Appreciated the use of beach towels and chairs. Nice location.

We stayed here for the last 3 days of a family vacation. Very relaxing and comfortable. The extra touches were really nice...the kids loved the record player! Snorkeling and swimming right in front of the condo was a definite plus, too.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The condo had many provided items for use at the beach (cooler, chairs, insulated bag) which was really nice! The property pool and access to the beach is conveniently only a very short distance from the condo. The bbq areas were plentiful and kept very clean. Many families can grill and all times and there was plenty of room for everyone. The property manager left the AC units in the condo for our stay, which we were originally told weren't usually in there. Im.so very thankful because the heat would have been very difficult to tolerate for us without them!

The condo was in a perfect location. Close to what we wanted to see and do. It has a private beach with lots to see if you want to snorkel. We swam with turtles and lots of different fish right on the beach. The pool was perfect it never really got over packed since the complex is smaller. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was super nice during our stay, she checked to see that we had all we needed and had great suggestions for places to eat and shop. Overall a perfect vacation. I would definitely recommend this condo or anyone looking to stay in this area.

This is a great condo for families and groups looking to stay near Napili and Kapalua. The kitchen is a good size and you can definitely cook a whole meal there if needed. There’s a private beach and pool for the complex and everything is maintained beautifully. The bathrooms in the unit are a bit small but we really loved the rain shower head in the master bath. The owner provided ample instructions and info on the condo and the surrounding area. Loved that there were beach chairs and water toys and floaties and snorkel gear at the condo for us! Thank you for providing your condo it was really a great place for my group and I as we celebrated our friend’s marriage! Highly recommend and will stay here again if we make it back to Maui.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The unit is exactly as described and the grounds are immaculate, not to mention incredibly tropical! The BBQ area is in excellent condition and super clean. We enjoyed being able to walk right down to the private beach that had great waves and swimming for all ages. The views from the lanai were breathtaking. The only downside to our stay was the heat. It got pretty hot in the unit without an A/C. We had family staying in another unit in the same complex and they did have AC and it really made a big difference. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Maui!

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at Kahana Sunset. The ONLY reason I didn't give this 5 stars is it's time for a new mattress in the master bedroom. I felt like I was sleeping in a trough.

We loved our stay at Kahana Sunset! We didn't want to leave and miss it so much already. The ocean sounds while sleeping were heavenly. Had everything you can imagine you would need and more. The ocean was rough but we managed to get in a few days and swim with the turtles, yay!! Oh and the whales even put on a show for us!
The whole process was very smooth and the owners were great! Can't wait to come back!

The property is beautiful with a nice private beach. However, the stairway in the unit was a little steep for someone with a new knee. The condo was very nice with all you could need for a great stay.
